Gilbert was recovering. While he was on crutches, he was given the assurance he could walk again soon enough. At the moment, he stayed in the medical center watching Crimson's gym battle with Blaine with the others. They just watched Crimson take the victory.

"Crimson really is as good as you say he is, Rei. I don't think I'd want to fight him." Shinji said as Asuka rolled her eyes.

"I could take him." Asuka remarked.

"Don't be cocky, Asuka. How he battles Blaine, and you will be two different things." Rei said.

"Honestly, it's scary seeing him now. This guy stormed Silph Co to fight off Team Rocket near single-handedly before fighting the leader to force him to flee. Every day, I'm haunted that I kept treating this guy like dirt. I'm seriously glad it never got to the point where he tried to break my arm." Gilbert said with a quiet look.

"Picture him when he's older." Shinji said as Rei's cheeks went pink at the thought.

The picture in Rei's head was ticking all her boxes and Gilbert groaned in annoyance.

"Stop fantasizing about him. I apologized to the guy. Don't torment me by sleeping with him." Gilbert whined.

Rei rolled her eyes.

"Quite a show Crimson has given us. I assume you and Gary are off to Cinnabar." Oak remarked to Delia and Gary .

Both had returned to Pallet for a bit of down time, but Gary revealed to already have the Volcano Badge. Ella and Heather remarked they had it as well, but all three were unaware Lindsay acquired her eighth badge right under their noses. She knew who she fought was not the real leader of Viridian…only hearing from the gym trainer she fought that the real leader was waiting for him to show up. Lindsay had a good feeling it was Crimson the leader wanted to fight. She had appearing to battle less and less around the group, but in reality, she was just doing it under the noses of them. After all, the unexpected is a far more dangerous enemy. Who'd believe she was a threat?

"Gary, would be ok for to accompany be to that bakery in Viridian?" Ella said taking his hand. "I could use something sweet."

Gary was quick to agree to that.

"Son of a bitch!" Sazandora said throwing a glass at her television. "It's like this bastard can't be in the news."

Things are Pokémon Tech were falling apart as students were dropping out or transferring to Kassai. The respect of this institute was falling fast not just because of Crimson, but Rusty and Joe. The so called 'failures' were the perfect poster children for underdog tales of hard work. The fact they were open to airing their grievances did not help. Verdant leaving only left the place with a leader who was slowly showing she could not fill the shoes. She sat in her office which was a bit messy in a sour mood. Cardin had left with boys for parts unknown leaving her alone. Her phone rang and she took it up.

"Hello, Pokémon Tech Insituite. Sazandora speaking." She said.

"Hello, Ethelinda. I just wanted to let you know it's soon to be over." *CLICK*

Verdant hung up on call and Sazandora wanted punch something. She put another dent in the wall…making it a dozen now.

Over at the Tree Pokémon Lab, the pothead professor and his assistant were out on the ranch on lawn chairs having pot brownies.

"Man, things have changed." Tree remarked lighting up a blunt. "Joe and Rusty are the confident duo I always hoped they'd be."

"I heard a rumor that the Viridian City leader is back intown…who exactly was he?" Velvet asked.

"Heh, Crimson's fought him already…just not as a gym leader." Tree said cryptically.

Omake #12 – The Red Connection (Canon) – Rusty and Misty – (During events of Chapter 86)

Rusty sat on the edge of Mt. Mortar just taking in the morning breeze after all was said and done. He had done it, he had a legendary under his belt. Midori fluttered by wistfully. He got the message that he could not make swaps and was connected to the network once again.

He swapped Atla Maria and Brantley out for Moltres and Lumi. The legendary bird of flame was let out as the rain clear.

"Welcome to the party, Aguni." Rusty said.

"Pfft…I was actually called that at one at point." Aguni said flapping his wings.

Rusty knew exactly what he wanted to do. He returned Midori and left the mountain riding on Aguni's back. He felt powerful doing it. He felt top of the line and was picture the look on Cardin's face when he saw him now. His parents would piss themselves…not that he cared. They soared over Kindle Road leaving a trail of embers in the sky. On Treasure Beach, Misty was in the midst of sitting by the shoreline fishing. Her Skrelp and other Pokémon were in the water save for Demetria was roosting on Risa's back.

She was not having a good time fishing, only getting small fry.

"Help! Help me!"

Misty turned to see a Psyduck struggling to swim while a pack of Golducks and Psyduck watched.

"What self-respecting water Pokémon can't swim?!" Golduck said as Psyduck struggled. "You can fight right, you can't even evolve…you feckless failure!"

Psyduck was begging for help, but his pack just left him behind. Misty pitied the Psyduck and had Demetria get him out. That pack scattered seeing Articuno snatch their failing packmate out of the water.

"If you want to eat him, go ahead. Better use as your meal, oh icy one." Golduck said before the pack left.

"Please don't eat me!" Psyduck said before she let go.

Misty caught him.

"There you go. Now I overheard you're having trouble swimming…let's fix that." Misty said kindly.

[Music Ends]

Rusty would arrive to see Misty in the water deep in a swimming lesson and landed on the beach.

"Brother, you're with a human now." Demetria said dryly.

"I heard you got caught when your human slipped in your excrement." Aguni said with a snicker. "For a girl, you're a messy one."

"Screw you, you overcooked turkey!" Demetria snapped.

Misty turned to see the commotion.

"Congrats on the capture." Misty said coming to shore with Psyduck. "How'd it go?"

"It was a grand epic battle that rocked the mountain." Rusty said dramatizing it just to annoy Demetria.

"Asshole." She muttered.

"Demetria, that was rather rude." Misty said as Demetria pouted.

Omake #13 – Morning Rock (Canon) – Joe/Sissi – (During events of Chapter 86)

(Pewter City Gym, Petwer City | May 26th | 10:30 a.m.)

"Now, Edgar! Finish it off with Magical Leaf!" Joe said.

"Cherry, Ice Beam!" Sissi said.

The two attacks were the finishing blow defeating both Flint and Mizuho's final Pokémon.

"The match is over. The winners are Joe Rogers and Sissi Delmas." Forrest said as Mizuho looked disappointed.

"What a wash. We were steamrolled. Not a single of your Pokémon went down by our hands." Flint said before conceding the badges. "But you showed skill in doing so. The badges are yours."

Mizuho handed them the prize money and the Rock Tomb TM. Pokémon were returned, goodbyes were made, and the couple were off.

"So where to next?" Sissi asked.

"Fuchisa. I need to get the Soul Badge." Joe said sending out Jian.

"Oof, I need to go back to Cinnabar." Sissi said sending out Bazel. "I guess we'll meet up at Cinnabar."

"Yeah, good luck Elizabeth." Joe said before flying off on Jian.

Sissi rolled her eyes before flying off on Supra.

At the building where Cinder once lived was now under Roman's control, he loved the wide view of the underground. However, today was a problem given his guest. A pimp who seemed to never left the 1990s, a Pimp Named Slickback.

"So, why did you come to me?" Roman asked.

"Because you have ties to that crazy nigga, the one who choked the fuck out of Shego. Crimson." APN-Slickback said steely. "I need his help to hunt a bitch down."

"And what did this bitch do?" Roman asked.

"Stole my money and some of my bling for a plane ticket to these damn regions. All I know she got to somewhere in the area. And I want the bitch put ten feet under for it or worse." APN-Slickback said. "I'll pay him and you handsomely for it."

Roman smirked and called in Neo.

"Give us a description and we can talk price." Roman said.

(A/N: Cristal is in deep shit. And yes, Lindsay currently stands as the strongest trainer among her group. Even over Gary, for now. I will admit, this omakes are more like extended bit cut from the chapters they occurred on. Either way, we finish up Season 6.)
