"I would certainly live longer," he sniffed. Curiosity spiked as she intertwined their fingers, pulling him down for a quick kiss, her lips brushing across his jaw before pressing against his mouth.

"I'm sorry I wrecked your armour."

"Are you?" he asked, eyebrow raised.

Her smile never faltered. "No, not really." She squeezed his hands. "You should work on your communication skills."
