Heat crept up the back of her neck, but she raised her chin, trying to ignore the feel of his cheek sliding against hers as he pulled back.

Kagome had a feeling he wasn't talking about being reckless anymore, and she struggled not to squirm, jerking slightly when Inuyasha pretended to gag.
