"Are you sure about this?"
Haru asked uncertainly as she sat on Bakugou's shoulders while Kirishima and Ashido kept her steady.
"Just shut up and grab the headbands."
Bakugou ordered as the countdown started.
3...2...1...GO!
Haru growled as the boys moved forward and the fights were on. While other teams were distracted with going after Midroiya and his team, Haru was grabbing their bands without them noticing. Hearing an explosion, Haru looked over and saw Midoriya and his team in the air with some sort of backpack on, rolling her eyes Haru cursed as she felt her head band be swiped.
Turning she glared at the boy who took her headband, recognizing him as one of the students that had confronted Bakugou just the day before. He grinned at her before launching into a speech about how there was going to be events to weed out the crowd of students, Haru didn't pay to much attention as she focused on the headband and how to get it back without setting it on fire, knowing her body was still to weak to use her fire whip to get it back. Kirishima mentioning that the class was surrounding them caught Haru's attention to notice he was right. They were surrounded while this kid kept going on with his speech.
"Ah, come to think of it, you're already somewhat famous yourself aren't you?"
The kid was staring directly at Haru with a knowing look.
"You're one of the victims from The Crow era! Tell me about it next time!"
Haru felt herself freeze, Bakugou glanced up at her to see flames starting to form in her hands as her expression changed to rage.
'How does he know about him?! Does everyone know?!'
Haru's thoughts were deafening, anxiety filled her with the thought that her new friends knew how weak she really was.
Bakugou's anger rose as he felt Haru begin to shake, glancing back he made eye contact with Kirishima.
"Kirishima. Change of plans. Before Deku. Let's send these goddamn shitstains to some early graves!"
Kirishima smirked, agreeing with Bakugou after seeing how Haru was being affected.
"Haru."
Haru glanced down at Bakugou as he made an explosion with his fist. Haru smirked and nodded before focusing and a large flame appeared in her hand. Glaring at the student Haru raised her fist and in an instant shot flames at him only to duck backwards, almost falling off Bakugou's shoulders in the process, as her flames shot back at her.
"What the fuck?"
Haru muttered as rage filled her as Kirishima pushed her back up right.
"This really is a nice quirk!"
The student taunted as an explosion went off on Bakugou.
"He's copying our quirks?"
Haru muttered in shock to herself as she swung only for her arm to be blocked by the student, now using Kirishima's quirk to harden his arm.
Just then Haru was moved back as her team moved before they could get hit with wet cement from another student.
"This is so stupid."
Haru muttered, catching her team's attention.
"If I faint. Don't let us lose."
She said before closing her eyes, causing Bakugou and Kirishima to yell at her before she reopened her eyes, her fire whip in her hand, her breathing becoming strained as she focused and used her whip to wrap around the headbands in the student's hand and pulling them back.
"Bakugou, hold these."
She muttered as she handed them to him before focusing on the students again, her eyes focused on the two headbands around his neck.
"Just a little more."
She muttered to herself as her chest burned. With one last effort she used her whip one more time to get the headbands off the student and down to Bakugou before her whip disappeared and the world went dark.
Time remaining 20 seconds!
The loud speaker announced as Kirishima braced Haru on his shoulders while running after Bakugou to try to get Midoriya's headband. Just as they reached Midoriya's team, time was called.
In second place! Team Bakugou!
Bakugou growled at not finishing first but helped Kirishima get Haru off his shoulders, and rushed her to the first aid tent. Where Recovery Girl sighed and started looking over Haru, telling the boys to go eat with the rest of the students. Not long after the boys left, Toshinori walked into the tent, his eyes landing on Haru laying on one of the beds.
"How is she?"
Recovery Girl sighed and glanced at the girl.
"She'll be ok. She's just exhausted. All Might. If she wants to be a Hero, she needs to be a lot stronger, she won't be able to afford to faint in the middle of fighting a villain."
Toshinori nodded in agreement before leaving to check on Midoriya
I know this one was short but I really struggled with the tournament.
