I'm back!
Enjoy the new chapter!

Haru was in the infirmary for a few days before being released and allowed to go back to school, after a long talk with Recovery Girl on what she should be doing to strengthen her body for her quirk so she stops damaging it. Walking in she was greeted by her classmates, who were overjoyed to see she was okay after the tournament, after taking her seat she caught Bakugou staring at her with a look of relief before smirking at her and class started after Aizawa, with more scars on his face, walked in and muttered 'morning'.
"Aizawa, I'm happy you were able to remove your bandages!"
Tsu said happily.
"The old lady got over dramatic with her treatment. But let's put that aside. Today's Hero informatics period is a little special."
Haru felt her heart drop wondering if there was a test she was supposed to study for.
"It's time to formulate your hero names."
The class jumped up with excitement as Aizawa used his quirk to ensure no one got hurt before continuing.
"This is related to the draft nominations by pros I mentioned the other day. The nominations will start mattering only after you've gained some experience and your adaptable fighting ability is judged during your sophomore and senior years. In other words, the nominations you're getting this year are more akin to expressions of "interest" in your future potential and it's not rare that interest dries up by graduation or is simply unilaterally dropped."
"So I guess the nominations we received are like personal hurdles, then!"
Toru mentioned excitedly.
"Yes. Now, the tally of nominations is as follows."
Aizawa continued before turning to the board and writing everyone's name down and how much interest they had. Haru felt her heart sink at seeing a one next to her name while Todoroki had 4,123 and Bakugo had 3,556. Glancing over at Midoriya she sighed, he didn't have any interest.
"I wonder who mine is?"
Haru mumbled to herself as her classmates made their own remarks about the numbers before Aizawa started again.
"Based on this...Regardless of whether or not you received any nominations. I'll be having you all go get some so-called "work place experience." Well, you've all dipped a toe in the world of the pros, unfortunately. But I think experiencing the activities of pros first hand will prove to be more fruitful training than before."
'So that's why we need our hero names now.'
Haru thought to herself.
"Of course, placeholder names are fine, too, but something appropriate"
"BECAUSE IF NOT, IT'LL BE HELL FROM THERE!"
Aizawa was interrupted by Midnight.
"THE NAMES YOU PICK NOW! THE NAMES YOU CHOOSE TO BE KNOWN BY THE WORLD AS NOW!"
Aizawa looked exhausted as Midnight made a grand entrance.
"Well, she is correct. I'll be having Ms. Midnight evaluate your naming sense. The way your futures end up will approach the image projected by the names you choose. It's all down to that old phrase, "Names and natures often agree." For example: "All Might".
Haru grabbed the stack of little white boards and passed them behind her as her mind raced on what to be called given her quirk.

15 minutes later

"All right, it's almost time. For those who're ready to present their names for the class!"
Aoyama was the first to stand up and head to the podium.
"The name of the sparkling hero: "I cannot stop twinkling."
Haru covered her mouth as she tried not to laugh as Midnight told him to try again. Next up was Ashido.
"Call me "Alien Queen"!"
Haru smiled as Midnight told her to try again as Tsuyu raised her hand.
"Is it okay if I go next?"
Tsuyu approached the podium.
"I've known since elementary school what name I'd be. Froppy!"
Haru grinned.
'That's a good one.'
"Use her well-liked model as a guide for your own names, okay?"
Next was Kirishima with the name Red Riot in honor of the Hero Crimson Riot.
As her classmates showed off their names, Haru looked down at the name she had written before sighing and raising her hand to go next after Bakugo, who had King of Explodo-Kills which was quickly shot down by Midnight. Standing at the podium, Haru showed her board.
"I came up with 'Radiant'."
Midnight looked at her in thought for a moment.
"Simple to remember, friendly, I like it."
Haru beamed at her as her classmates agreed before taking her seat so Ochako could show hers. Next to last was Midoriya, who chose Deku as his name, Haru smiled with pride. Next was Bakugo, again, this time with Baron of Explodo-Kills, which also got shot down.
"Your field training will be one week long. These are all good work places. But those with nominations will receive a personalized list. Pick one. Those who don't, get this list of 40 participating workplaces across the country. Choose one from the list. Their areas of operation and expertise all vary. So put a lot of thought into it before you choose."
Haru looked over both lists, her mind swimming with what she would like to focus on.
"Turn them in by the end of the week."
Aizawa explained.

"I liked your names Katsuki."
Haru smiled as they walked home. Bakugo smiled a little with his head down.
"Yours wasn't too bad. Radiance."
Haru beamed at him for a moment before looking down.
"Who did you pick to work under?"
"Best Jeanist, he nominated me."
Haru giggled making Bakugo blush a little.
"Not really your style, I wonder how that's going to go."
"Well who did you pick extra?"
"Uwabami."
Haru mumbled, making Bakugo look at her in shock.
"Why her? You're not going to learn anything."
Haru sighed.
"She's the only one that nominated me. I can only hope for the best."

I wonder how that's going to play out for our little Haru?
Stay tuned for the next chapter!
