"I thought you were taking me to my room," Kagome said, looking around.
"Why would I do that?" he scoffed, placing her on his bed.
"Aren't there rules about this?" She was honestly curious. Kouga had literally announced his intent, and nothing had changed—aside from Inuyasha's level of embarrassment.
"You speak as if I am not the one who makes them." He stepped over his armour, removing his wrecked outer haori.
Kagome's eyes stayed riveted to his form, watching as another layer was stripped and thrown away, revealing a collection of stripes along his shoulders, ribs, and wrists.
"How many do you have?" she blurted.
