The next day at school found Haru and her classmates laughing at Bakugo and his new slick hairstyle.
"Yo, don't laugh. I'll fucking kill you! Don't laugh! It's stuck and washing it ain't fixing it!"
"Go ahead and try it, amazing 8:2 hair lad!"
Kirishima taunted Bakugo as he took his seat.
"Let me help Bakugo."
Haru offered with a ball of fire in her hand.
"You're not burning my hair extra!"
Haru laughed as she taunted him before his hair finally popped back out into its usual spike.

"Hi! For I'm here! It's been a while, boys and girls!"
Haru grinned as All Might stood before them in their costumes. During her on the job training Haru didn't get a chance to see much of Toshinori.
"It's a rescue training race!"
Haru blinked in surprise.
"A race huh?"
"Sounds like it extra."
Bakugo responded next to her, after she had fixed his hair he noticed there was something different about her, though he couldn't place his finger on what exactly was different.
"Ofcourse, keep damage to the surrounding buildings at a minimum!"
Haru almost fell over as All Might pointed at Bakugo.
"This is a competition to see who can come to my aid first! When I've given the distress signal somewhere in the area, you all start simultaneously from outside the limits!"
As Midoriya, Ojiro, Ida, Ashido, and Sero took their positions to start, Haru moved next to Bakugo to watch the screen. Where her classmates started talking about who they thought was going to win.
"Deku's dead last."
Bakugo muttered while Haru laughed.
"I bet he finishes second to last."
Haru smirked at Bakugo.
"You're on extra."
The race started, at first it looked like Sero was going to win until Midoriya went flying past him, moving just like Bakugo to get ahead, until he slipped and fell.
"Well, he needs to work on his grace."
Haru giggled as Midoriya finished last.
"Next team, take your positions!"
Haru, Bakugo, Ochako, Kirishima, and Mineta moved to their positions. As they heard start they moved, Haru using her fire in little bursts to keep her moving faster, easily slipping around the buildings and pipes in her way, with the finish line in site she decided to shock her classmates and formed a rope of fire, without hurting herself, and used it to wrap around the railing at the finish and pulled herself at full speed to the finish line just seconds ahead of Bakugo.
"Since when could you do that extra?"
"Since I've been training my lugs to handle the strain of my quirk."
Haru grinned at Bakugo as All Might told them they did great and let the final group run before saying class was done for the day.

The girls were in the locker room, talking about the race when they heard Mineta screaming and noticed a small hole in the wall.
"Don't tell me that goes to the boys locker room."
Haru muttered as Kyoka moved to poke Mineta in the eye with her earphone jacks. Who was met with praise from the girls.
"He's such a little pervert."
Haru muttered, trying to change her ribbons.
"Haru! What happened?"
Flinching she saw Ashido, and now the rest of the girls, looking at her neck.
"It's nothing ladies, just an old injury from when I was a kid."
"That looks awful, what happened?"
Haru blushed.
"You know it was so long ago, I don't even remember!" She awkwardly laughed as the girls seemed to shrug it off and go back to getting dressed before leaving the locker room with Haru at the back. Trying to calm herself down at her scar being noticed while walking back into the classroom.
"Let's see here. Right, summer break is fast approaching but of course, it stands to reason none of you have enough leeway to just relax."
Aizawa paused causing the student to gain excitement.
"We'll be going to a summer break forest lodge."
The class started talking all at once about how much fun it was going to be only to be interrupted by Aizawa again.
"However, should any of you fall short of a passing grade for the end-of-term test. Then you're stuck in school, in remedial hell."
That seemed to spur the students on further for trying to pass their exam.

At lunch Haru sat with Bakugo like usual.
"What's bothering you?"
Haru asked as Bakugo wasn't talking to her.
"Deku."
Haru rolled her eyes at the simple answer.
"You should be more worried about the tests. I'm sure the written won't be a problem, but the physical? I'm worried about it."
Bakugo snorted.
"Who cares if it's people or robots, it's all the same when they're blown away."
Haru rolled her eyes at his cockieness.
"What if it's against a pro hero? You may have a lot of power, but without working with someone you wouldn't stand a chance."
