The next day found the teachers at UA discussing what had happened at the training camp while the press stood outside of the gate. Toshinori was bubbling with rage after he received the news about Haru being taken.
"I'm just mad about how useless I was. I was relaxing in the bath while they were out there fighting for their lives!"
The other teachers that knew about Haru's past were just as angry about the abductions. The president held up a newspaper with the attack making the headlines.
"And the media's having a field day censuring U.A. We can assume that they intentionally targeted Bakugo because that crazed, violent image of him at the sports festival was widely disseminated. As for Haru, we can only assume they wanted her for her quirk. If they are actually able to win Bakugo and Haru over, then this educational institution is finished."
Present Mic leaned forward.
"Speaking of lost trust, this seems like the right time to bring something up. It's absolutely clear at this point. We have a mole!"

Meanwhile with Bakugo and Haru.
Haru woke up tied to a chair facing Bakugo who was also tied to a chair.
"Where are we?"
She asked with hesitation as Bakugo growled in frustration after realizing he couldn't force his way out of his restraints.
"I have no idea."
As if to answer their question the League of Villains walked in and took a seat at the bar. Shigaraki was the first to speak.
"Let's get down to business. Wannabe hero Katsuki Bakugo. Won't you join me?"
Haru looked at the fuming Bakugo.
"You can shove your offer and go to hell!"
Shigaraki sighed and motioned to the villain with the tophat, who grinned and undid Haru's restraints before dragging her towards another door.
"No! Leave me alone!"
She screamed in protest while trying to hit the guy with her flames only to miss and be thrown into the room.
"Katsuki!"
She screamed as the door was shut, crawling on her hands and knees she huddled against the wall as she watched the villain.
"This will go a lot easier if you don't fight it, Ume."
Haru growled at her old name and stood up.
"What do you want with me?"
The villain chuckled.
"We have orders not to kill you and that precious quirk of yours could be quite useful if you decide to join us. But there's nobody saying we can't have some fun with you in the meantime. You're already used to that treatment anyway, aren't you? From your time with Crow?"
Haru growled and tried to form her whip only for it to fade as quickly as it appeared causing her to curse as her body registered how weak she still was from the night before.
"Now be a good girl and come here."
"No way in hell!"
The villain sighed.
"You just have to make things difficult. Don't you?"

Bakugo sat as his anger rose, he could hear Haru screaming while the other villains talked, trying to convince him to join them while another scream from Haru sliced through the air. Shigaraki telling the villain called Dabi to untie him caught his attention.
"He'll go wild, for sure."
Dabi tried to argue.
"It's okay. We gotta treat him as an equal. We're scouting him, after all. Besides, before he throws a tantrum, our little U.A. Student here. Should be smart enough to know he can't win."
Bakugo sat in thought as he was unchained and waited for Shigaraki to get close enough before he set an explosion off, missing his face by mere centimeters.
"Thought I was gonna croak of old age while you idiots yap, yap, yapped away! Can't stand morons like you who can't get to the damned point! Basically you're saying, "we wanna cause trouble. Be our pal!" What a joke! I've always admired All Might's Triumphs. No matter what any of you jerks say nothing's ever gonna change that."
Shigaraki looked at the hand that typically covered his face that now lay on the floor next to him.
"Father."
He mumbled as the press on the television continued to question the teachers at U.A. only for the president to speak up.
"We're hardly approaching this passively. Currently, I am personally cooperating with the police in their ongoing investigation. Make no mistake. We will retrieve the students who were taken from us."
Bakugo grinned.
"Hah! Good ol' U.A. Thanks for sticking up for me. Get it now, League of Scumbags?! Just so you know. Technically, I've still got permission to fight back!"
Bakugo continued to grin cockily as he watched the villains talk and try to figure out why he wouldn't just pretend to work with them if he understood his position.
"If I'm not feeling something, I ain't gonna lie about it. And I'm not in the mood to hang around this boring dump for much longer."
Shigaraki still hadn't moved and was just staring at his hand while the mist villain jumped up in alarm.
"You mustn't, Tomura Shigaraki! Calm yourself."
Shigaraki turned an icy glare on Bakugo before holding his hand out.
"Just stay back. All of you. This kid."
He reached down and picked up the hand and placed it back in its spot before standing straight.
"Is an important pawn. I wish. You would've listened. I thought we might understand each other."
Bakugo scoffed.
"Nope!"
"What a shame. We all just heard about the heroes' investigation, so I can't waste much time trying to convince you. Master. Lend me your power."
Bakugo continued to smirk as he glared at the villain.
"Master? I thought you were the boss around here! Pretty disappointing."
At that time the villain that had dragged Haru away walked back into the room without his hostage.
"Kurogiri. Compress. Let's put him to sleep again. I'm actually impressed. By how unwilling he is to listen to reason."
"Want me to listen? Stuff it and go to hell!"
The sound of knocking made everyone pause.
"Hello. Kamino pizza delivery."
Was heard before All Might smashed through the door followed by Kamui Woods and Gran Torino. Bakugo dove into the room Haru had been dragged into and cursed at seeing her naked and beaten state. Quickly he pulled her shirt and shorts back on her before picking her up and carrying her back to a now enraged All Might.
"Must've been scary. Good job holding out! I'm sorry."
All Might took in Haru's form and gritted his teeth while Bakugo yelled at him.
"Scary? As if! I almost had 'em!"
All Might gave him a thumbs up as Shiragarki tried to call the Nomus and it didn't work because they were detained by the other Heros. All Might turned and patted Bakugo on the shoulder.
"Looks like you've still got a lot to learn Shigaraki! Your little League has gone and taken some things too lightly. Like this boy's indomitable spirit. And the relentless police investigation. As well as our RAGE! Your mischief's gone on long enough. It ends here, Tomura Shigaraki!"
