The next morning the world was in chaos.
Toshinori and Haru were in the hospital, both had visitors. Toshinori was speaking with Grand Torino and the detective while Haru was talking to Bakugo.
"Katsuki I'm fine. Really."
Haru laughed while Bakugo kept giving her a disbelieving look, making her laugh.
"The doctor said I just need time to heal, my fire is already coming back. I should be fine in a few days."
Bakugo continued to look at her.
"And, I'm getting released today. If you want to walk me home?"
Bakugo sighed.
"I can do that."
Haru smiled as the doctor came in to go over what she could and could not do. Bakugo waited until she was given the okay before he helped her out of the hospital and the pair started walking towards Haru's home.
"What happened to you?"
Bakugo asked cautiously as Haru looked up at the sky, her mind replaying what happened in that room as her quirk flooded her veins, the flame burning with rage at what had happened.
"I think you can figure that out."
Haru stated simply without looking at him.
"No. You're neck."
Haru's eyes widened as her hand instantly went to her neck and did not feel her ribbon.
"What happened to my ribbon?"
Haru looked at Bakugo.
"I was a little to busy rescuing you to worry about a stupid ribbon."
Bakugo shot back as Haru had flames in her hands before she sighed and the flame pulled back, taking a seat on a secluded bench where the couple could have some privacy.
"It's not a pretty story."
Haru warned as Bakugo sat next to her and waited for her to start.
"Keep this to yourself. But if you really want to know. My parents were villains. I don't even know their names. And I don't care to. They never wanted kids, I was simply an accident. When I was five they decided they didn't want me anymore, before my quirk appeared, and they sold me on the black market. To Crow. He was notorious for his exploitation of children, and the abuse they suffered at his hands. I was his favorite, if you could call it that."
Haru paused as Bakugo's eyes widened as the implications became obvious to him.
"My parents never even named me. So, Crow gave me a name, Ume. I hated that name. When my quirk appeared I couldn't contain it, I was never taught, never even told what a quirk was or how to use it. Crow didn't like that I was constantly setting things on fire, and that I kept burning his so called clients."
Haru rolled her eyes, the hatred and shame clear in her voice as the memories came back.
"He had a collar made for me, and every kid that he had that was developing a quirk. It's a barberrick device. It was leather, it had rows and rows of tiny blades, a little bigger than a needle but extremely sharp."
Haru touched her throat at the individual scars that at a distance looks like one solid line. Bakugo felt his own rage rising as she told her story.
"His breaking point with me was when a high paying client was burned and scared from me, he held me down in front of the man while I screamed as Crow tied the collar on as tight as he could. The pain was something I had never felt. My power, my quirk, I couldn't feel it anymore. I felt so powerless."
Haru was looking at her hand as her flame appeared, a tear rolling down her cheek. Bakugou reached over and wiped it away.
"It took days to get used to the pain, then it was just numbness. I wore that collar until I was too old for Crow's taste. Almost a year before I applied to UA."
Haru paused again.
"That day he told me I was sold and I felt my will to live leave me. I couldn't go on with that life. Not after so many years. But, who bought me, turned out to be the best day of my life. My life was changed forever. And for the first time I saw what a Hero was. The man that saved me was All Might. He's the one that bought me. The other Heroes, our teachers, were there and saved the other children. He's my guardian. And he's the only parent that I will ever recognize."
Haru smiled at Bakugo as he processed this information and looked at her in shock.
"Wow."
Haru smiled a little bigger as she stood up.
"Well, now you know my story. Let's finish going home. Ok?"
Bakugo nodded as they continued on their way, his mind reeling over everything the girl at his side has been through and yet, she smiles everyday. Something he's sure she picked up on from All Might himself. As they reached her home he turned and hugged Haru to him, he knew he had been close to losing her forever and he silently vowed to never let that happen to again.
"I'll see you tomorrow."
Haru smiled and walked inside to be met with a bandaged up Toshinori. Relief flooded her as she ran to him and hugged him, tears streaming down her face.
"You're ok."
She whispered as he hugged her back.
"I'm happy you're okay."
He whispered back as he held her for a few minutes before pulling back and looking at her.
"Young Bakugo did everything he could to keep you safe."
It wasn't a question but a statement as he cupped her cheek, the bruises would fade but after seeing her medical report his blood was boiling for what had happened to her, again.
"Yes he did Papa."
She grinned before yawning.
"Go to sleep Haru, I'm going to see Midoriya and then come home."
Haru nodded and walked to her room before collapsing on her bed, for the first time she did not have nightmares but she had peaceful dreams.

Haru woke up the next day to an empty house and spent the day training, her flames becoming more powerful and her whip was coming back to normal making her smile. After hours she walked back into the house and started on dinner when Toshinori finally came home looking tired.
"Hi Papa!" She greeted happily as he took his seat at the table.
"How was your day?"
She chirped happily while he smiled at her.
"The principal made a decision. He's going to have all the students move into the dorms to better protect them."
Haru paused and looked at him for a moment.
"So all of the students will be living together? That sounds fun, and a lot safer."
Toshinori smiled at her and nodded.
"I believe so too."

Two days later the students arrived to move into their new dorms, their moving boxes and luggage had been picked up earlier in the week from their homes.
"It's huge!"
"We're some lucky kids!"
Haru grinned up at the building as her class gathered in front of Aizawa.
"Now then, class 1-A. I'm glad to see you all here."
Haru drowned out her fellow students as Bakugo stood next to her, she smiled at him before focusing back to the front.
"Anyway. I'm gonna give a quick overview of your dorms. But before that. The training camp was meant to earn your provisional licenses. And that's still the goal."
Everyone started talking, getting on Aizawa nerves.
"This is important. Listen up. . Midoriya. Yaoyorozu. Ida. On THAT night, you five headed out to rescue Bakugo and Haru. I think all of you here understand the consequences of those actions. The issue's been swept under the rug for now, but let me say this much. If not for All Mights retirement. I would have expelled every single one of you, except for Bakugo, Haru, Jiro, and Hagakure. The chaos is sure to continue now that he's retired. And since we can't get a read on the League of Villians' next move, kicking anyone out of U.A. at present is ill advised. The five who went, of course. But also the 12 who knew but did nothing to stop them. Your reasons aside. The fact remains that you betrayed our trust. From this point on, if you follow procedures and behave properly you might be able to regain our trust. That's all! Now look lively and get a move on!"
Haru looked down and felt bad for her classmates, it hadn't been for the five that did rescue them who knows what would have happened. The idea made her shiver. Seeing Bakugo move she turned and watched as he disappeared behind a bush with Kaminari before a lighting bolt was seen and Kaminari reappeared with a swollen face saying yay making the class laugh and the mood was lifted.
"One class to each building. Girls on right, boys on the left. The first floor is the common area. Your dining hall, baths and laundry rooms are here. The rooms start on the second floor. Four boys' rooms and four girls' rooms on each floor, five floors in all. One student per room. You've got air conditioners, toilets, refrigerators and closets. Enjoy the luxuries."
The students spread out to look at the rooms and were surprised every room had a veranda.
"There are your room assignments. The luggage you sent earlier should already be in your rooms. Todays set aside for settling in. We'll talk about what comes next tomorrow. Dismissed!"
The students cheered before setting about to find their rooms and move in. Haru grinned when she saw she was on the fourth floor. Walking in she was shocked to see more boxes than she had packed with a note taped to one of the boxes.
'Be good. Have fun. Enjoy your new dorm. - Papa'
Haru felt herself tear up as she started digging through all the stuff and decorating her room. By the time it was night everyone was in the common area and was exhausted.
"That was exhausting"
Haru moaned as she laid out on one of the couches as the guys nodded in agreement as the rest of the girls came down.
"We've been talking and we've got an idea! How about we have a peek into each other's rooms?!"
It was agreed and first was Midoriya whose room was decked out in everything All Might making the class laugh. Next was Tokoyami who blocked his room until the girls pushed him over and looked inside. It was dark and a little scary. Next was Aoyama's room that was very shiny with a disco ball.
"That's a lot."
Haru giggled as the group moved on, only to find Mineta was the last one on that floor.
"Come on in. I've got something awesome to show you."
Haru shivered and shook her head before walking back to the elevator. Starting on the third floor was Ojiro's room that was really plain. Next was Ida's room filled with books and glasses making the girls laugh. Next was Kaminari's room filled with a little bit of everything. Next was Koda's room who had a bunny making all the girls squeal and pet it and the guys gave Koda a hard time saying that it was cheating he had a rabbit in his room. Until the boys decided it wasn't fair that they were the only ones having to show off their rooms and that the girls should have to show off theirs as well.
"Great idea!"
Haru looked at Ashido like she was crazy.
The next floor started with Bakugo.
"Where is Bakugo, by the way?"
Ida asked as the class realized the hothead wasn't with them.
"He said "This is dumb, I'm going to bed" I'm getting tired too."
Kirishima tried to duck into his room.
"Then your room's next, Kirishima! Let's pick up the pace!"
Haru laughed as Kirishima's room was very masculine with fire curtains and weights on the floor. Hair sighed and yawned.
"Sorry guys, I'm going to bed."
She mumbled while walking to the elevator to go to her side and go to bed.

That's it for this one guys!
See you in the next one!
