'I feel like I've been here before. Deja vu? I don't think so. But that's just a theory. A time theory… wait a minute. Time?' Something clicked on Yukari's mind. "Time. I feel like I know this "deja vu" and what it means. I know what's going to happen in the future… well, I'm only guessing, so I could get something wrong here."

"Hmm…" Yukari goes back to watching the human village from afar, then she sees something interesting happening in the human village. "Hold on, is that one woman killing everyone… *squints harder* …nah, I think it's just my imagination." Yukari played it off and thought her eyes were tricking her into seeing something that wasn't supposed to be there. "Maybe…"

Somewhere in the human village…

"W-Wait! Don't kill m—" SLASH! The head of the person was lopped off by a whip from the silver haired woman who is supposedly a youkai exterminator. How does she lop off a person's head using a whip? We'll never know. One person's head came rolling down as the other one watched his friend die from this silver haired woman. "W-Who are you?! I'll have you know that my father is a policeman!"

The silver haired woman glanced at the dead body before staring at the person who was still alive. She looked at him… DEMENTEDLY. "SAKUYA MARGATROID." The person is still confused about what she's talking about. "W-What?! What are you saying, you psychopath!" The woman, now named "Sakuya Margatroid", slowly and creepily approaches the frightened person. "S-Stay away from me! You're supposed to be a youkai exterminator!"

Sakuya stopped walking. "WHEN DID I SAY THAT? YOU VILLAGERS HAVE THE INTELLECT OF A ROCK." Then she jumpscared the person before slicing his head using the whip that has the sharpness of a thousand knives. "NO ONE CAN CHOOSE WHO THEY ARE IN THIS WORLD. I MAYBE A PERSON WRACKED WITH PERVERTED SENTIMENTALITY, BUT WITH YOUR GUIDANCE, I REALIZED WHAT YOUR PURPOSE FOR EXISTING."

…What the hell is this woman talking about?

"TOGETHER, WE WILL ERADICATE ANYONE WHO WILL GET IN OUR WAY. WE WILL BECOME ABSOLUTE. AFTER ALL—*looks at the narrator*—WE ARE ABOVE CONSEQUENCES." Okay, this is getting kinda weird and creepy… please, continue. "YOU BETTER RUN BECAUSE THIS VESSEL IS COMING FOR YOU." SLASH!

Then she slashed our point of view. Hmm, so she can see me, or us for that matter, huh? No matter. We're going to a different point of view, which is Yukari Hakurei. Changing the POV, we can now see Yukari still in her shrine lazing about and doing absolutely nothing. "I expected something different in this timeline. And yes, I already figured out that something is happening to the timeline like that one movie called Groundhog Day."

Yukari gives a brief summary on what the movie is all about. It's basically about a guy who relives the same day over and over again. But this situation is different. It's where a person dies and goes back in a certain point of time. "And that's basically the premise of it. A person dies, goes back in time, relives the same day again, and rinse and repeat. I know this is happening to me in real life because it's literally happening right in front of me right this second. Well, not this second, but in the future that somehow has gone back in time to become the present, do you get anything on what I'm telling you?"

Yukari wants to know if you're getting the gist of it, but sadly, you can't talk because this is just a fanfic. "No response, huh? Don't worry, I know why you can't speak. It's because you just see words, am I right?" Again, no response from you people. "Figures. Anyway, I'm going to have to deal with this silver haired woman before she makes the incident so big it makes the timeline go back to a starting point."

Yukari says that as she sat down on her chair, still watching the people in the village going about their day. "I sit or lie down because I want to watch the village because I'm looking for some random psycho killer who goes around lopping everyone's head off, you sit or lie down because you are reading this fanfic…—

*somehow fixes her non-existent tie*

—...WE ARE NOT THE SAME."

"Yukari, I think there's something wrong with your mind. I think you need to go to therapy or get a check up from Panacea." Yukari stopped looking at you readers (or watchers if this is a television show) and looked at Mima who is kinda worried about her mental wellbeing. "No, I'm fine. I'm just talking to myself."

Mima got close to Yukari and opened her book to read. Friendship bonding, everyone. "I'm no doctor, but I think that's called schizophrenia. At least, that's what it's called during the time I read a book about mental illness." Yukari raised an eyebrow. "I know what it's called, and no. I don't have schizophrenia for the last time." Mima wanted to troll her, but stopped because she remembered the horrifying face that Yukari made. Frightening, isn't it?

"Okay, okay, I'll stop. I'm going to read this book about atoms. Bother me if you want something to say." Then Mima got to reading the book while Yukari continued to stare off into the distance in the direction of the human village. 'I already knew that the timeline somehow already diverged from the previous one. I'm going to guess that there's going to be some major changes since I didn't repeat the actions that I did in the previous timeline.' Yukari pondered what happened when the timeline decided to change because of a simple change.

Then Yukari is sensing something. Something… wicked and foul smell in the air. 'Hmm, something is about to happen in three… two.. One—' Then something really did happen. It was Rumia dashing through the forest and trying to reach the shrine. Yukari saw her and immediately thought that there's going to be an incident. A massive one like the other ones that involved a tyrannical monk and an ice dragon.

"YUKARI!" Yukari shook her head in tiredness as Rumia tried to call out to her. Naturally, Yukari ignored it because she just wanted some peaceful and relaxful sleep, but ever since that incident with the tyrannical monk happened, things aren't going well for her sleeping plans. Mima ignored this as she kept reading her book. She doesn't want to get involved in this, but probably will if it benefits her.

"Yukari! Wake up! *slaps her face will full force* Wake up! There's a psychopath serial killer going around and decapitating people! She is on a killing spree!" Yukari grunted and finally talked to her. "I thought you're the protector of the human village?" Then Yukari saw her bruises and wounds. Clearly, there was a struggle between them.

"I did try to protect the people who are still alive. She got most of the people. I thought she was a human, but inside that… body, I know there's something sinister inside her. Something even more demonic than even the actual demons." Yukari nodded at this information. "Thank you for the information that I already knew. What else is new?"

Rumia is shocked at this. She didn't know that Yukari knew what's happening. Rumia is boiling with rage. "You… you knew that this was happening and you didn't NOTHING TO STOP IT?!" Rumia grabbed the collar of Yukari's clothes, filled with rage. "I just knew what was happening a few minutes before you came here. So we can now stop pointing our hands on who's who is supposed to protect the human village." Yukari grabbed Rumia's hand and released herself from the grasp of her hands. Rumia is still angry, but calmed down because being mad at someone doesn't solve any problem.

"Okay, okay, but we're going to continue this conversation later. Don't forget." Yukari rolled her eyes and got into serious mode because someone out there was slicing a person's head off. Yukari pulled Mima because she will be helping in this incident. "Hey! Let go! *tried to free herself, but clearly failing* Fine! I'll help. Just let go of me." Yukari released her and the three of them are now preparing a plan to stop this psychopath serial killer.

Rumia started first. "What are her abilities? Weakness that we can exploit?" It was clearly directed at Yukari. Yukari answered this with the information that she knew. "She can reset at a certain point of time when she dies, so I deduced that she has abilities related to time. Time manipulation is what comes to my mind." Rumia nodded at this, remembering what her ability is useful in fighting her. Mima just nodded as she was reading her book that is about nuclear items. When did she change her book?

"Wait, if she can manipulate time, then she can probably stop time. Now I know why she just disappeared in front of me. I barely got out of that fight with her. I wonder why she didn't just kill me there?" While Rumia is pondering why she isn't dead yet, Yukari already formulated a plan to effectively and efficiently stop that madwoman of a serial killer. "I already have a plan in mind. Here's how it's going to go down. Rumia will distract her by blinding her eyesight, Mima will use her explosion abilities to stun her, then I will trap her in a dimension where she can't get out no matter how many times she can reset or manipulate time. I need all of you to cooperate with me because she's one slippery woman because of time manipulation. This sounds good?"

Rumia stopped pondering as Yukari explained the plan. As for Mima, she is still in her own world. "Your plan never failed so far during the previous incidents, so I trust you." Yukari looked at Mima. "Oh, huh. Sure, sure. I agree with your plan." Then she goes back to reading. Yukari didn't bother explaining it again because she's pretty sure the two already knew what they were going to do. "If there are no questions, then let's initiate the operation "Night of the Long Knives"." Rumia and Mima nodded at that name because it's fitting since it's already night time. The three of them quickly headed to the human village, preparing to defeat the psychopath serial killer.

Some time later, in the human village…

"Y-You… you monster. You're more of a monster than any of those youkais despite being human. Not even those youkais will prolong their victim's agony and pain." The severely injured guard said as he tried to grab his weapon, but something flew at high speed and hit his hand, preventing him from retrieving his weapon. "AAAAAAAAURRR!"

Sakuya Margatroid is even more cruel than any youkais could ever dream of. "AH. IT LOOKS LIKE MY HAND SLIPPED." The guard looked at her with a fury that can even be seen from his eyes. "You will pay for this!" Just after he was done saying that, his head got detached from his body, killing him in the process. After she killed the guard, she only grew stronger. Some might call it… leveling up.

"MMMHH~, THE DEATH. THE EXP. THE LEVELING UP. IT IS JUST AS I REMEMBERED. I KILLED MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS VILLAGE, BUT THE OTHERS GOT AWAY. DRAT. I SHOULD HAVE SPEED UP THE PROCESS. OH WELL, MISTAKES HAPPENED. THE MOMENT I FELL FROM THE SKY, THE DAY I FELL FROM HEAVEN AND FROM MY HOME, I ALREADY RESIGNED TO MY FATE. HOW ABOUT YOU, ARE YOU PREPARED FOR WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?"

Sakuya looked at the trio who just got here. She thought that they're the defenders of this village. She didn't recognize the two, but the one in the middle, the one who is wearing clothes similar to a hobo that has a hoodie jacket on and wielding a weapon that is exactly the same as a stop sign on her left hand, she knew this person. This is the person who annihilated her instantly with an iron carriage in which she knew that it's called a train.

"AH, THE DEFENDERS ARE HERE. YOU ARE A LITTLE LATE TO THE PARTY, BUT I STILL ACCEPT LATE GUESTS." But the trio isn't going to humor her with her game. The trio are already prepared to kill the serial killer. "STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, HUH? AFTER ALL… IT IS ALL JUST A GAME." The trio thought that this woman is insane, which she is, but there is something that struck them at the last part of her sentence. "Game," she says. But they didn't have time to think about it as Sakuya strikes first, hitting the middle person who is Yukari.

Of course, Yukari used her trained reflex and swerved to the side with ease, effectively not getting hit by the attack. Sakuya is honestly surprised at this considering all the enemies that she met didn't even bother to dodge. "What? Don't expect me to tank that attack. I bet you have a nine hundred ninety nine attack damage or something."

It's the trio's turn to strike back. Yukari sends a train attack through her gap while the others support her from the sideline by delivering an explosion and shadow attack from the side where most people can't see. However, Sakuya is also trained in the arts of dodging. With fast reaction time, she managed to avoid even the most lunatic attacks that Yukari has to offer.

"How about you give up now? It will be easier for both of us." Sakuya raised an eyebrow. "HMM, LET US SEE HERE… NO." Yukari shrugged at her response. "Oh well, I tried, Rumia." Rumia shook her head in disappointment. "As for you… DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU BECAUSE I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE." Yukari gave Sakuya the most terrifying face that the world has ever seen, but Sakuya isn't from this world for she is from another world. Ergo, she isn't scared by her eldritch abomination cosmic horror facial expression because she probably doesn't care about that.

"HEHEHEHEHE! THIS IS FUN! BUT, THE FUN MUST END NOW. I WANT MORE POWER. MORE POWER MEANS MORE KILLING. AND THE THREE OF YOU ARE FREE EXP FOR ME. SO DO ME A FAVOR AND JUST DIE ALREADY." Sakuya struck down Mima with her whip, but Mima just phased through the ground to evade the attack. "Whoa, you almost hit me there, myem." Sakuya is getting close to exploding with anger. "THAT. IS. THE. POINT." Then the fight continued for an indefinite amount of time.

The fight has gone on for like one week, only Yukari and Sakuya are standing on the battlefield. Mima and Rumia have already collapsed from exhaustion because they are weak as hell. "IT SEEMS LIKE…—*breathes heavily due to overconsumption of energy for being active for one week*—...WE ARE THE ONLY ONES STANDING. HOW ABOUT I GIVE YOU A DEAL?" But Yukari isn't having any of that deal BS. "I'm not going to make a deal with a demon. No more deals. One versus one. Deathmatch. One final round. That's my offer to you." Sakuya is interested in the other offer. "WHAT IS THE OTHER OFFER?" Yukari smirked because she knows how this fight is going down. "...Your death."

Sakuya frowned, then she was filled with anger. "I AM NOT ACCEPTING YOUR OFFER FOR IT IS UNFAIR TO THE OTHER PARTY." Yukari shrugged as her offer was declined. "Then, the only offer left is… TO FIGHT EACH OTHER TO DEATH." Then the fight resumed. How long the fight is going to last, who knows. But for all we know, the fight lasted for thirty years. Yeah, no joke. Sakuya is that difficult of an opponent to deal with. She's so strong to the point that she and Yukari fought for thirty years.

Their fates are now intertwined and will forever be connected to each other no matter what the circumstances are, be it in another timeline or another universe, or even in a different vessel in a different world. Their fate… their destiny… SHALL BE UNBROKEN IN THE FACE OF UNCERTAINTY.

Yukari saw "her". She is mildly infuriated that she destroyed the world because of her time manipulation.

"YOU. WHY IN THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU DO THIS? LAST TIME I CHECK, I NEVER ANGERED ANYONE WHO HAS SILVER HAIR."

Sakuya Margatroid, the demon disguised as a human, smiled dementedly.

""WHY" YOU ASK? WELL… BECAUSE WHY NOT? AFTER ALL, THEY ARE THE ONES WHO PUSHED ME OFF AND MADE ME FALL FROM THE HEAVEN."

And then, Yukari already figured it out just from that sentence.

"You're a human who somehow got your hands on lunarian tech, am I right?"

Shock is an understatement when Sakuya heard her say it. She recomposed herself as she knew that Yukari is smart. Too smart for her own good.

"IT SEEMS YOU FIGURED IT OUT. I AM SURPRISED. YOU REALLY ARE SMART AS THEY SAY."

'Who's "they"?' Yukari thought as Sakuya continued to monologue.

"NO MATTER. THIS DOES NOT CHANGE MY OBJECTIVE. I WAS LYING WHEN I SAID I WANTED TO DO THIS JUST BECAUSE. THEY WANTED ME TO "PURIFY" THIS WORLD AND CLEANSED IT WHEN THEY ARRIVE. LET US SAY… I AM THEIR JANITOR. AND I AM ABOUT TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH."

Yukari chuckled at her joke. "You know, you could just stop this and live a happy life here in the realm as a normal human, but that's never gonna happen, isn't it?"

Sakuya continued to smile dementedly. "...DIE."

Sakuya readied her whip and did a multi attack on Yukari. In response, Yukari prepared her weapon, the stop sign, and effectively blocked all the attacks. Sakuya isn't surprised because this happened in the previous timelines when they fought each other.

The battle continued to rage on, with both sides neither achieving victory. This battle between them… WILL TRAP THEM IN AN ETERNAL CYCLE OF PAIN AND AGONY. In short, the fight never ends. Think of an irresistible force versus an unmovable object. Yeah, try wrapping your head around that one.

Some timeline later…

"You've forced my hand. Now, you're going to taste in what I call… armored trains. EAT LEAD, YOU SERIAL KILLER."

Yukari summoned many gaps from her side, and what came out were armored trains that had giant guns on top of them. "OPEN FIRE."

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A barrage of armor-piercing shells, armor-piercing composite rigid shells, high explosive shells, premium high explosive shells, high explosive anti-tank shells, and high explosive squash head shells is what Yukari dished out on Sakuya Margatroid. When Sakuya saw this unbelievable attack, she didn't last long as she was overwhelmed by the shells. She will have PTSD on this one. Sakuya couldn't handle the pain because she's still a human who can still feel pain like normal humans do. And she couldn't exactly use her time manipulation in the moment because the space that she was in had no time. In short, Yukari effectively cut off her only source of power. It took Yukari some serious calculations in order for her to pull this off.

After what seems like an eternity when in actuality only a few hours has passed due to the timeline keep resetting, Yukari finally put down Sakuya Margatroid.

"YOU THOUGHT YOU'RE INVINCIBLE BECAUSE YOU HAVE LUNARIAN TECH, BUT YOU THOUGHT WRONG. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE RELIED ON TECHNOLOGY TOO MUCH. AND NOW, YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE… YOU'RE GOING TO THE SHADOW REALM, JIMBO."

As Yukari ultimately decides Sakuya's fate, Sakuya screams in agony as she loses. And now, she's going to be banished into the shadow realm, wherever that is.

"NOOOOOO! NOBODY DECIDED WHAT MY FATE IS! NEVEEEEEEEEEEE—"

"GOODBYE FOREVER, HUMAN."

And the fight is over. Sakuya is banished. Yukari won, but at what cost?

"I've won… but the world is destroyed. Oh well, at least I vanquish evil, right, guys?"

But nobody came.

"Huh, figures. In this empty world, I'm the only one who still exists… hahahahaAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" It's official…Yukari has—

"I HAVE GONE BONKERS HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAA! I THOUGHT THE FIGHT WOULD NEVER END, AUTHOR! BUT I GUESS NOTHING LAST FOREVER AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

Yukari…

"I JUST WANTED TO TAKE A NAP, BUT I GUESS THE UNIVERSE COULDN'T GIVE ME THAT! WHAT A LOAD OF BS! FATE? DESTINY? NONE OF THAT MATTERS BECAUSE ALL OF IT ARE GONE NOW! BLOODY HELL, I JUST WANT TO SLEEP, MATE! BUT NO, IT'S SO MORBID THAT I JUST WANT TO LAUGH NOW HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

Yukari has the most lunatic idea that has been concocted in her mind.
