I originally had Adam Taurus vs Seryu Ubiquitous, but then I discovered this matchup and decided that I liked it much, much more.

Azure: Two swordsmen with contrasting colors wielding special swords. They're also born as people thought to be monsters, and go about opposing ways to deal with that even as their friends end up turning against them. One is a lovable dork, the other is Adam Taurus.

John: Hey! I get to be more prominent!
Bryant: You are very lucky that Azure is our boss and Crush is his friend.
John: Are you still-
Bryant: Yes I'm still mad you used one of my inventions without my permission! There's regulations and procedures!
Thea: Hey! You can yell at him off-stage, get on with the script!
Bryant: Fine.
John: Okay then. [Clears throat] It's unfortunate that many people in life are born different from others. This can lead to a difficult life of scorn and loneliness after all. But some people deal with this in different ways. Some become heroes in spite of their heritage, while others urge people like them to become terrible villains alongside them.
Bryant: Rin Okumura. The Blue Exorcist.
Thea: And Adam Taurus. The Faunus Terrorist.
Bryant: I'm Bryant Reese.
Thea: And I'm Thea Price.
John: And they'll be analyzing these two to find out who would win a What If Battle!
-Line Break-
Bryant: In the world of Blue Exorcist, there exists two prominent races. One, the humans. And two, the demons.
Thea: The demons are a pretty big threat to the humans, especially the head honcho, Satan himself! So humans ended up making an elite task force to protect mankind from the demons that threaten them.
Bryant: These are the Exorcists. And their mission was to eliminate any demon threat, and one day kill Satan.
Thea: But Satan had a plan! A plan, and a dream to merge the demon and human worlds together and rule over them. After meeting a girl named Yuri Egin, Satan was able to make the keys he needed to do so!
Bryant: Yuri gave birth to two sons. One was the younger brother, Yukio. Yukio was born normal, and a studious boy. The same could not be said about his older brother, Rin.
Rin Okumura:

Bryant: Rin was born looking like a regular human. However, as time went on, it became more and more obvious that this was wrong.
Thea: As a kid, he was already super strong. He was able to break ribs as a preschooler and even lift a car! Imagine playing tug of war with that kid.
Bryant: Predictably, people viewed him as a monster due to his inhuman strength, even more so due to his habit of letting his emotions get the better of him.
Thea: Luckily, Rin and his brother were taken in and raised by a pretty cool guy named Shiro Fujimoto, a pastor at a church. Fujimoto was a good dad who accepted and encouraged Rin as his own son, almost as if they were blood. But, good things don't last forever.
Bryant: One day, Rin found himself in trouble with some delinquents, and ended up bursting into azure-blue flames. These flames weren't natural, but rather the blue flames of Satan himself.
Thea: So Rin found out that Satan was his real dad, making him half-demon, and Fujimoto was an Exorcist in charge of making sure that Rin didn't go out of control. He was pretty upset about it and lashed out verbally at his adopted father. But this ended up weakening Fujimoto's mental barriers, and Satan took over his body to try to pull Rin to the Gehenna Gate, a portal to the demon world.
Bryant: Fujimoto ended up choosing to fight back against Satan's control and impaled himself through the heart, killing himself in hopes of saving Rin. Filled with guilt and hatred to both his heritage and biology, Rin dedicated his life to becoming an Exorcist and swore to one day kill Satan and avenge the man he viewed as his actual father.
Thea: But the thing is, Rin was still the son of the most despicable demon out there. So the Exorcists ended up viewing him as a monster, even his brother! Who, might I remind you, is also the son of Satan. Bit hypocritical there, eh Yukio?
Bryant: With the threat of execution hanging over his head in his every waking moment and with his personal grudge against Satan, Rin needed all he had to overcome and survive the obstacles had.
Thea: And he had what he needed to do it.

Bryant: In battle, Rin wields the Kouma Sword, more commonly known as Kurikara, an ancient relic originally borrowed to kill him. However, upon finding the baby, Fujimoto had another demon, Mephisto, seal the flames. This blade isn't just his weapon, but also the source of his power, and his very demonic being.
Thea: The sheath acts as a gate to the demon world, and the sword contains Rin's demonic heart, which is the actual source of his power. When the sword is put away, he's mostly human. But when it's drawn, his body regains access to his heart, and enters his demonic state. And that comes with blue fire!
Bryant: As the son of Satan, Rin can wield his blue flames and use them for himself. The flames can be molded into different techniques, and he has a large variety of different moves that he can use.
Thea: With Satan Slash, he can launch a sword beam made of fire! He can make the ground explode with Satan Bomb, burn the crap out whoever he stabbed with the Satan Campfire, or he could just burn them and then blow them up with the Satan Bomb Campfire!
Bryant: All of these do require his sword, however, Rin has used his flames without it. Like with his Satan Claw, which can be used both up close and at a distance. His most powerful attack, however, is the Fireburst Samadhi, where he focuses his fire into a massive ball of flames, similar to that of a Spirit Bomb. Granted, he was able to perform this feat thanks to Ucchusma possessing his sword, but it's likely that he can still perform a similar attack, albeit on a smaller scale.
Thea: His flames are more than just blue though! These things can burn anything Rin wants. Emphasis on anything Rin wants, since he can actually choose what he wants his flames to burn.
Bryant: He's actually engulfed his classmates in fire in two different versions of his canon, that being the anime original canon and the manga canon, only for them to end up completely okay with only the demonic parasites inside of them gone.
Thea: On the flipside, blue fire has been used to kill people by burning up their souls. Their souls! And even if people manage to deal a pretty serious hit to him, Rin can just shrug it off with his regenerative healing factor. He's survived being impaled and being knocked around at Mach speed. And when he's in a rough situation, he can just, fly out of there in phoenix shaped fire. He's not likely to do that though.
Bryant: Rin isn't one to run away from a fight. He's more than willing to face off against most opponents no matter what. Something he can do even more easily thanks to his True Demon Form.
True Demon Form:

Thea: After the Kurikara Sword ended up being broken by his dad, Rin's demonic heart ended up returning to his body. And while it ended up turning him to ash, he just regenerated from it and was way more powerful than before!
Bryant: Granted, he did have trouble controlling his new demonic instincts, but he was able to eventually regain control of his mind.
Thea: Yeah! Because Rin Okumura is a good boy! Unlike what people think!
Bryant: Rin does his best to make friends and to be a good person. However, his flames are viewed to be the same as Satan, who was responsible for a tragedy called the Blue Night. That night, Satan attempted to possess the bodies of numerous priests and exorcists around the world, killing many in horrific ways. Few survived, and many were victimized as a result.
Thea: Since Rin was both a wielder of the blue flames and the son of Satan, people can't help but look at him as a constant reminder of the Blue Night. The next monster. And the people who decided to let him live after a trial to decide whether or not he would live or die only did so because he could be a weapon against Satan.
Bryant: Everyone seemed to turn on him, and the only ones who didn't were those out of pure obligation. However, while Rin was pretty hurt by this, he never stopped caring.
Thea: To Rin, he just had two missions now. To kill Satan, and prove people wrong. And he was gonna do it! Whether it be by saving the classmates who seemed to hate him, trying to get others not to repeat his mistakes with Fujimoto, or just kicking demon ass!
Achievements:

Bryant: Every exorcist has their own strengths and weaknesses. Rin happens to be a little more.
Thea: Rin was strong enough to stop a cat familiar in its giant form with a headbutt! The cat used its giant form to knock around large pieces of construction equipment like balls of yarn, and Rin didn't even need to pull out his sword to stop the kitty in its tracks!
Bryant: He's also moved faster than the eye can see without his sword drawn. Specifically, he moved faster than an Exorcist named Shura could see, and Shura can attack at supersonic speeds.
Thea: With his sword, he's escaped Gehenna Gate, the supposedly inescapable gateway to the demon world. He's even kept up with Amaimon, the Earth King, who could create earthquakes by tapping the ground. A feat that needs up to 15 kilotons of TNT, the same as the bomb that dropped on Hiroshima. Without his sword, he was still tough enough to tank a hit that sent him flying so fast, he broke the sound barrier.
Bryant: Amaimon was even able to catch up to Rin in less than a second despite sending Rin, based on the speed he was launched and the amount of time that he was flying, 1.5 miles away. A feat which would require him moving over seven times faster than the speed of sound. At most, he could even be fourteen times faster than sound.
Thea: And Rin's demon state was enough to make Amaimon begin running away! And that's even before his True Demon form!
Bryant: While Rin may not be infallible, he's quite tenacious. It could be assumed that Rin regenerating from ash would just be due to him turning into his full demon self, but he's also survived being shot in the head several times and even regenerated his arm when it was cut off. Quite useful when his brother ended up being his enemy due to the influence of Satan, and ended up being the one shooting him in the head.
Thea: You'd think that that would make Rin hate his brother, but nope! Rin just got even more motivated to save his twin. Even when his entire class looked at him in fear after learning the truth of his heritage, he still cared about them, to the point where he stopped one of his friends, Bon, from fighting with his dad. Telling him not to say bad things since it might be the last thing he says to his dad, just like how it was for Rin.
Bryant: I think it's obvious that Rin is certainly worthy of being called a hero. But he has his flaws.
Weaknesses:
-Demon heart is a weak point
-Grabbing his tail causes immense pain
-Holy Water burns him
-Flames can be stopped by sheathing his sword
-Relies on strength and flames instead of skill
-Stubborn to a fault
Bryant: Rin breaking Kurikara may grant him his demon heart back, however, his demon heart is the source of his flames and life. Should it be destroyed, he'll die.
Thea: Not to mention that it's only semi-safe to break the blade. If the hilt is destroyed, it's basically the same thing as what would happen if you destroy his heart.
Bryant: His tail is also a weak point, as grabbing it causes immense pain. Not to mention that his flames can be stopped with either Holy Water or by sheathing his sword.
Thea: It also doesn't help that despite Kurikara being half-weakness for him, he doesn't even try to be careful. He relies on his brute strength and his flames in a tough fight instead of skill. Probably doesn't help that people only teach him how to use his fire.
Bryant: Made even riskier by his stubbornness. His hotheaded nature can cause him to find himself in difficult spots, and left exposed.
Thea: But while his stubbornness might be a pretty big weakness, it's also his greatest strength. Rin will never give up on the people around him. He'll always try to save them. And eventually, people began to realize that.
Bryant: Rin always attended class with the fear that someone might find out that his blood is from Satan, but his friends eventually opened up and accepted Rin back into their ranks, seeing that they were wrong, and that contrary to what people believed, the Rin they saw was the Rin he was. His flames saved them on several occasions, and they no longer feared them. Instead looking to them as a sign of hope and strength.
Thea: Pretty fitting that his flames manifest itself as a bird, because while Satan's flames are that of death, his flames are that of a new chance at life, just like a phoenix! Because at the end of the day, while Rin has the flames of the cruelest demon, he also has the soul of the kindest human.
(Rin) I'm not your weapon, demon king, or savior! I'm Rin Okumura!

Bryant: In the world of Rwby, there exists the Grimm. As the very incarnation of negative emotions and evil, they hunt those who exist in the light. Those people are the humans and the Faunus.
Thea: The Faunus' main difference from the humans were their animal traits. But humans are humans, and decided to discriminate against them. Because every world is racist in some way.
Bryant: Faunus were mistreated and abused. Some struggled to find a proper job and proper working conditions, and they were the lucky ones, as others were straight up turned into slaves.
Thea: Eventually, the Faunus rose up to protect their rights after humans tried to banish them to a remote desert island called Menagerie. A fact that's made worse when you consider the fact that menagerie means zoo. Because they're 'animals'. Racism.
Bryant: After the Faunus Rights Revolution, a new organization rose up to improve relations between humans and Faunus, one called the White Fang, led by Ghira Belladonna. However, their peaceful protests proved useless in the grand scheme of things. Ghira stepped down to be the leader of the Faunus living in Menagerie, and Sienna Khan rose to power. Under her leadership, the White Fang became a terrorist organization. And amongst those terrorists was the deadly and maniacal, Adam Taurus.
Adam Taurus:

Bryant: Little is known about Adam's early life. What we do know is that he was a part of the Faunus Labor Force that served the Schnee Dust Company. At some point during this service, he ended up with the logo being branded on his left eye, possibly blinding it.
Thea: Was it the result of cruel and unusual punishment? The aftermath of an argument in a mine? No one knows, but what we do know is that this kickstarted his hatred towards humans, and his goal of ensuring a better life for his people.
Bryant: At some point, he was taken in by Ghira and the White Fang, and eventually met Blake Belladonna, serving as her mentor and love interest. Though he served the peaceful revolts of the White Fang, when Ghira stepped up and was succeeded by Sienna Khan, he served to be a powerful member of their cause and doing what he could to ensure a better future.
Thea: But over time, Adam's goal changed. It no longer was about the Faunus, but his grudge against the humans. Soon, the White Fang weren't caring about making the lives of Faunus better, but on slaughtering humans and getting their revenge, especially the people following Adam.
Bryant: Eventually, Blake had enough, and left Adam. Though originally her friend and someone who she viewed as the embodiment of justice and passion, Adam had become the incarnation of spite, and their relationship became abusive, and emotionally manipulative.
Thea: Unfortunately, emotionally abusive partners tend to not like their partners leaving them. After Blake left, it became Adam's mission in life to destroy everything she held dear, and to kill all the humans he could. And unfortunately, he was pretty good at that.

Bryant: Adam is by far one of the deadliest swordsmen in Rwby, possessing incredible levels of strength and speed. He can attack at blistering speed, often before his opponents can react. Though it's important to note that Adam technically has two methods of fighting.
Thea: Adam's main fighting-style revolved around the usage of Iaido, a Japanese sword-style that involved quickly drawing and slashing in one quick movement, utilizing speed and precision as opposed to raw strength. Adam can use this fighting-style alongside Wilt and Blush, his signature weapon.
Bryant: Blush is a rifle that seconds as a scabbard. It can fire up to seven rounds without needing to reload, usually up-close, and can be used for firing Wilt at his opponents, leaving them open for a lethal strike. Wilt is a version of a Japanese Chokuto, or a Japanese straight sword, and is his main method of attack. It likely has a blade made of a metal infused with Fire Dust due to it generating fire as it swings.
Thea: Adam actually prefers to strike at openings as he fights, using Blush to shoot Wilt into his opponent's face or just shoot them normally, then striking them while they're stunned. Or he uses his speed and Iaido fighting-style to catch them mid-movement, slashing them through their openings. Until then, he's blocking and countering attacks with Wilt.
Bryant: Which actually plays into his Semblance. In the world of Rwby, characters are able to manifest their souls as Aura, which acts a shield against attacks, can heal minor wounds, allow for extrasensory perception, protect against the elements, and can be channeled through their weapons. It also powers their Semblance, which is a special power unique to either the user or their bloodline. While some inherit their Semblance through their heritage like the Schnees, others develop their Semblance as a response to certain scenarios, like Ren developing a Semblance for hiding from the Grimm in the middle of a Grimm attack, or Nora developing Semblance that absorbs electricity after being hit by a bolt of lightning.
Thea: In Adam's case, his Semblance represents his desire to cut down others for what they did to him. Known as Moonslice, his Semblance lets him absorb kinetic energy through his sword and unleash it in a powerful attack, either as a lethal slash or a ranged sword beam.
Bryant: Which is likely why Adam prefers to fight defensively, though he technically has two fighting-styles.
Thea: The second one is more aggressive. He still uses Iaido, but instead of waiting for his opponents and striking at them, he instead overwhelms them with fast slashes, even throwing Wilt like a buzzsaw. He throws sword beams, slashes fast enough to create after-images, all while balancing offense with defense.
Bryant: And don't forget, Adam is also a Faunus. Along with his speed, he's strong enough to kill Grimm with a single hit, and he has the ability to see in the dark. This combined with his enhanced senses and his ability to sense incoming danger via Aura makes him difficult to catch off-guard.
Thea: With all this, Adam is one dangerous guy, and he was eventually recruited by Cinder Fall and the Grimm Queen, Salem.
Bryant: Adam's bloodthirst proved to be a worthy ally to the queen of darkness, and he proved useful in their crusade against the Huntsman Academy, Beacon. With its downfall, the world began to fall into darkness as well, and Adam was eager to ensure it would continue that way until his hatred was sated. This even led to a confrontation with his former leader.
Thea: Sienna Khan may be a terrorist, but she had limits. What she did was for the future of the Faunus. But Adam didn't care. He just wanted to kill everyone for his own satisfaction. And Sienna was in his way.
Bryant: Adam killed Sienna and usurped her throne, claiming it for his own, and thus assumed control over the entirety of the White Fang, claiming it as his own personal army to do with as he pleased. And few dared to challenge him.
Achievements:

-Fought both Yang and Blake at once
-Blocked point-blank bullets
-Moved fast enough to make after-images
-Can threaten Cinder and her goons
Thea: Why would they? We're talking about a guy who can block bullets from just a few feet away without even caring, which would require him to react in less than 0.002 seconds.
Bryant: Even more impressive is the fact that he can scale above the likes of Emerald and Mercury.
Thea: Scale above? Cinder is no stranger to forcing people to do what she wants even when they refuse, yet she didn't even try to use force on Adam even with Emerald and Mercury until after she got the Maiden Powers. Clearly, he's a big threat.
Bryant: Emerald and Mercury were both able to shatter the ground and even dodge bolts of lightning. According to Death Battle, this puts Rwby characters at around Mach 78.
Thea: And Adam's able to take on both Blake and Yang at the same time, who are both comparable to Emerald and Mercury. At one point, Yang hit him with enough force to tear up the rock floor below him as though she punched him through a field of bubbles.
Bryant: Even more impressive, Adam was able to vaporize a giant spider drone with a single Moon Slice. It's likely that his Moon Slice is on the same level as the likes of Weiss Schnee, who was able to create enough ice to knock over a giant robot. A feat that Death Battle calculated to be over 230 tons of TNT. More than enough to dismember Yang with a single slash.
Thea: Talk about being disarmed. Ba Dum Tsh.
Bryant: Adam led the White Fang to the kingdom of Mistral, intent on continuing his crusade against the human race.
Thea: But who would show up other than his ex girlfriend, Blake! This time arm-ed with an arm-y of Faunus to stop Adam.
Bryant: … Adam soon found himself no longer in control, and no longer able to force others to do what he told them to. And when he lashed out, this only further cemented his loss.
Thea: The most dangerous part of an abuser is their control over their victims, usually mental. And while it's near impossible to break free of this control by yourself, and hard even with others, if you take away their control, they'll just have physical force left, which is usually taken care of by authorities or the law.
Bryant: When Blake struck back, no longer in fear of Adam like how she was in the Fall of Beacon, Adam no longer had control over her. When the other White Fang turned against him, Adam couldn't intimidate them. And just like that, Adam was just one man against an army of people, forcing him to flee. Because despite the terror he invoked on others, Adam was still a warrior with flaws.
Weaknesses:
-Aura has limits
-Can't use his Semblance without his sword
-Can't control emotions well
-When emotional, he uses his more offensive fighting-style
Thea: Aura is a pretty useful thing, but it has a limit, and has to be recharged with rest and recovery. Without his Aura, Adam doesn't have his best form of attack that is his Semblance. He can't even use his Semblance without his sword, so that's two ways to disable that.
Bryant: What's more, while he can fight in both offense or defense, he does notably better in defense as opposed to offense. And when he's emotional, he loses his cool easily, leaving him open.
Thea: And that's exactly what happened. When Adam wasn't in control, he lashed out, and lost the intimidation he needed to stay in control.
Bryant: Adam was left vulnerable, and angry. As such, he continued to chase Blake, blaming her for everything.
Thea: But Blake wasn't alone, and found a new friendship and new partner in Yang. Blake and Yang always did what they thought was best for each other, never obsessing over themselves like how Adam did. They had a mutual trust, a mutual bond. Not the obsessive and toxic relationship Blake had with Adam, where he tried to force her to rely on him so that he would be in control. And together, they proved too much of Adam, and brought him down, once and for all.
Bryant: Adam was right in some ways. There will be people who see the Faunus as nothing but monsters. But at the end of the day, he only ended up as the monster that humans feared that a Faunus was.
Thea: Adam hated Blake for abandoning him, but his actions were why he ultimately was alone. In life and in death, Adam Taurus was his own greatest demon.
(Adam) As I set out upon this world and deliver the justice mankind so greatly deserves, I will make it my mission to destroy everything you love.

John: Alright! The stage has been set, it's time to start this dance. Battle ready, set, GO!
-Line Break-
"Run! It's the White Fang!" a man screamed as he sprinted down the street. A flying red sword spun through the air and impaled him through the chest, causing him to choke on blood before falling over as humans screamed. Adam Taurus walked up to the man and pulled out his sword as White Fang grunts marched up to him. He scowled as he observed the city through his Grimm Mask.
"Kill them all," he said. The White Fang grunts immediately opened fire, shooting the fleeing humans. Suddenly a wall of plants rose up, blocking the shots while ghostly foxes dashed around, knocking the grunt down. Adam narrowed his eyes as Rin Okumura and his Exorcist Class appeared in front of the wood.
"Alright class! Do what you can to save people but be careful!" Yukio ordered as he loaded his dual pistols.
"You heard the man! Let's do this!" Rin said before charging forwards. He knocked a grunt down with a kick before slamming the sheathed Kurikara across another one.
"Yukio!" a girl named Shiemi called their teacher, and the teenager rushed over with a First-Aid kit. Adam spotted them and growled.
"For the White Fang," he said before charging with a hand on his sword. Rin knocked out another grunt before spotting Adam charging at his brother and friend.
"Get away from them!" he yelled as he stomped, sending a wave of blue fire towards Adam. The Faunus terrorist jumped back as the wave exploded where he would've been. Rin appeared through the smoke, holding Kurikara in front of him and standing protectively in front of Yukio and Shiemi. His tail lashed angrily, causing Adam's eyes to narrow.
"You dare betray your own kind? You got a lot of nerve," he growled.
'My own kind? Is he a demon too?' Rin wondered.
"Go, my Faunus brothers and sisters! Continue showing our superiority! I'll discipline this traitor to our kind!" Adam shouted.
"Go stop them guys! I'll take care of this guy!" Rin yelled.
"We'll come help you out later! You stall him until then!" Yukio said as he and Shiemi carried the injured man away. Rin and Adam stared each other down.
"I won't hold my breath," Rin muttered before pulling out his sword, blue fire erupting around him. Adam pulled out his own sword, swinging it around slowly before taking his stance.
"Come then."
Fire and fury!
Fight!
The two charged at each other, kicking up dust as they dashed. Rin tried to slash Adam, only for the Faunus to spin and slam the hilt of Wilt into his stomach, causing Rin to cough and stopping his attack. Adam kicked Rin away and took his stance again. Rin skidded to a stop before growling and taking his own stance.
"Grah!" Rin yelled as he jumped forwards with his sword raised high. Adam swung his sword upwards, only for Rin to knock him down with the sheer force of his swing alone. The Faunus was surprised but rolled away as Rin tried to stomp him. The two clashed blades, trying to push the other away. Rin was more successful and pushed Adam away with a yell. Adam caught his balance with a spin as Rin tried for another slash, only for Adam to quick a quick draw slash that stopped his blade. The exorcist managed to overpower Adam and knocked the terrorist away.
"Come on!" Rin challenged.
'He's strong. Still, that seems to be all that he has going for him,' Adam thought as he rose to a knee. He stood and held his sword at the ready. 'I'll beat him into submission.'
The two clashed blades, with Rin's attacks being blocked over and over again as Adam deflected his sword. This time, the terrorist also moved around the attacks to push the blade to the side instead of blocking them head on. Rin found himself stumbling several times, much to his annoyance, and he soon found himself growling more.
"Stop blocking!" Rin yelled as he tried for an overhead swing. Adam slashed upwards, striking Kurikara as it fell and knocking Rin off-balance for a counter hit. Rin grunted as he was sent flying backwards but managed to land on his feet. He yelled as he charged back at Adam, swinging wildly, but the Faunus simply dodged the attacks before sheathing his sword and using his scabbard to hit Rin on the side of his head, knocking him down and knocking his sword out of his hand.
"Is this really all you can do?" Adam said, not impressed. Rin growled before lunging forwards. Adam blocked the first punch with his sword, but didn't see Rin using his tail to grab his leg until it was pulled up. Adam grunted in surprise before Rin began to whale on the terrorist, punching him while grunting with each punch before uppercutting him away. He stomped on the ground, causing fire to explode underneath Kurikara and send it flying towards him.
"You haven't seen anything that I can- ack!" Rin grunted as Kurikara hit him on the back of his head, causing him to stagger a bit. He shook his head before picking up his sword. Adam narrowed his eyes as he stood
"Grah!" Rin yelled. The two slashed at each other with immense power and speed, creating sparks as they clashed. Adam deflected a swing with an upward slash before spinning and kicking Rin twice to knock him away. Rin grunted as he caught his balance and tried to swing Kurikara, only for Adam to deflect it and impale Rin with one fluid motion.
"Shame," Adam said as Rin gasped with blood spilling out his mouth. "You should've-"
"Shut up!" Rin growled as he grabbed Adam's wrist. Adam turned to look at this in surprise before Kurikara's hilt slammed against the side of his head, stunning him before Rin headbutted Adam with enough strength to send him flying, with Wilt being yanked out of the Exorcist in the process. Rin fell to his knees with a groan, taking a moment to heal.
"Ugh…" Adam grunted as he got to his feet, shaking his head. He growled as Rin stood as well.
'What exactly is this guy's Semblance?' Adam shook his head. 'It doesn't matter. I'll end this quickly.'
'Is he glowing?' Rin wondered as the red on Adam began to glow. The Faunus raised his sword and, with a powerful yell, fired a sword beam that tore up the ground it passed over. Rin's eyes bulged in shock.
"Oh shit!" he cursed as a wall of flames burst up. The red attack clashed with the blue wall, the two colors struggling before the flames swallowed the attack.
"... Huh. Neat."
"Pay attention." Was Rin's only warning before Adam impaled him through the back. The Faunus ripped the blade out with a spray of blood and slashed the demon repeatedly and brutally as Rin continued to cry out in pain with every hit. Adam knocked Rin away and tried to land a spinning jump strike, only for Rin to recover and swing his sword with an animalistic cry, knocking Adam away.
The Faunus landed and immediately ducked under a sword swing as Rin tried a lunging slash. The half-demon landed behind Adam and slashed backwards, only for Adam to block again, glowing a bit more before he sheathed his sword. Rin tried to slash him, but was forced to block instead as Adam unleashed a powerful charge slash that knocked him farther away. The exorcist growled as he shook his hand.
'Wait, does this guy have some kind of, super attack? Some crazy cool anime move?! Well I got those too!'
"Satan Slash!" Rin yelled as he raised his sword and fired a sword beam like Adam. The terrorist rolled out the way and dashed forwards as Rin spun his sword and stabbed the ground.
"Satan Bomb!" Adam nearly reached Rin for a slash, only for the ground to explode, sending the Faunus flying into the air. Rin rocketed towards him and swung his sword, only for Adam to block each slash with his blade. He aimed Blush at Rin, whose eyes widened as he noticed it looked like the end of a shot-
"Gun!" Rin yelped as it fired a shot that he barely managed to dodge. Adam continued blocking Rin's following slashes while trying to shoot the exorcist before he flipped and kicked off his opponent. He flipped again and landed on the ground as Rin flew higher. The exorcist stopped himself with a burst of flame before using his flames to fly down towards Adam. The terrorist sheathed his sword as his Aura glowed bright enough to look as though it was white. The two clashed with a yell and a burst of red and blue light that filled the street. Inside the dome, Rin roared as he continued pressing forwards, but Moonslice had built up almost too much energy. Kurikara groaned, and let out a crackling sound. Rin's eyes widened as he heard this, and as Kurikara snapped.
"... Oh, this is gonna hurt!" he groaned. Adam jumped back as a pillar of fire emerged from the ground, shooting into the sky like a beacon of blue light. Meanwhile, Yukio looked up at the pillar with a frown.
"Brother…"
"Aaaaahhhh!" a White Fang grunt yelled as he charged with a raised sword. Yukio refocused on the battle at hand.
"What is this?!" Adam demanded as he watched this. Inside the pillar, Rin stood tall, his hair now white and his flames burning even brighter than before. His demonic heart glowed inside of his chest.
"You're not a Faunus! You're not even human! You're a monster!" Adam announced. Rin scoffed.
"Look who's talking! I'm not the one who's murdering innocent people!" he shot back.
"I am making humans pay for what they've done!" Adam screamed back. "Humans segregated us for years! Used us as slaves! Called us monsters! I'm fighting for the future of the Faunus!"
"You're using your sob story as an excuse!" Rin yelled back. "And you're just giving them a reason to call you monsters!"
"You can't possibly understand what we've been through!" Adam growled as he dismissed Rin's words.
"I do! All my life, I've been called a monster. People hated me all my life! And things have only gotten worse! I lost my dad right in front of me, and the people I work for only let me do so because they see me as a weapon! Otherwise, I'd be dead! People are scared of me just from looking at me!" Rin barked back. He took a deep breath and clenched the remaining half of Kurikara.
"But I don't use that as an excuse to hurt the people who did nothing to me! I don't let my experience, heritage, or status change who I am! And I will protect the people I care about, especially from a psychopath like you!" Rin said as he took his stance.
"If you really understood, you would be burning down this city right alongside us! They don't deserve sympathy! And I will tear down any who get in my way of ensuring that they die!" Adam yelled as he got into his own stance. The two rushed forwards, clashing once again. Rin swung Kurikara with reckless abandon as Adam deflected his slashes. The Faunus was knocked back but hurled Wilt like a buzzsaw. Rin knocked Wilt into the air but Adam jumped and caught it, using his momentum to use a downward swing that Rin blocked with flames extending his blade. The two landed away from each other and continued to fight at incredible speed, dashing around and disappearing from sight.
"Why won't you just die!" Adam yelled as he knocked away a slash and impaled Rin through the side. Rin scoffed as he swung side-ways and knocked Adam away with a back fist.
"You're not the first one to try to kill me!"
"Grah!" Adam yelled as he charged back, swinging his sword wildly. Rin jumped back to avoid the slashes before firing back with a Satan Slash that Adam jumped back to avoid. The Faunus fired his shotgun repeatedly, but Rin continued to dodge the shotgun shots before punching the air as he dashed forwards, firing back fireballs before launching a powerful stream of fire. Adam dodged the flames before spinning through the air and launching another sword beam.
"Satan Slash!" Rin yelled as he fired back his own sword beam. His attack raced towards the Moonslice and clashed with it. But this time, it simply swallowed the attack and continued on its way. Adam's eyes widened before he jumped to the side to avoid the fire. He growled and roared before charging forwards. Rin charged as well, and the two clashed once again.
"It's time to end this!"
"Bring it on!"
The two reared back and unleashed a neverending barrage of sword swings, repeatedly slashing at each other with their blades blurring out of sight, red and blue following their swings. Blood spurted slightly out of the two as their swords grazed each other, drawing the red liquid with each swing. The two swung one final time and knocked each other away. Adam sheathed Wilt once more, charging up as his aura glowed as bright as the sun. Rin roared as his flames burned just as bright.
"JUST! DIEEEEEE!" Adam roared as he shot forwards and unleashed a Moonslice, the sheer energy of the attack making everything seem like it was covered in darkness, with only the red of the attack and Adam visible. The attack collided with Rin, cleaving through his torso, going from his shoulder to his hip with a violent spray of blood as Rin screamed.
But suddenly! A blue streak cut through the red and black and seized Adam by the mouth, knocking off his mask. Adam roared as he tried to punch Rin, but the exorcist ignored it as he looked into Adam's eyes, scarred and non-scarred. The massive gash in his torso repaired itself, trapping Adam's blade along with his iron grip on the Faunus' wrist.
"You chose to be a demon. And it's my job to get rid of demons. So, BURN!" Rin roared. Adam roared as he tried to punch Rin again, but flames erupted from Rin's hand and into the Faunus' mouth. The Faunus' eyes widened as blue light shone from his eyes. He screamed in agony as his body began to crumble away into ash, until his echoing scream was all that was left. Rin sighed as he gripped Wilt and braced himself before pulling it out with a roar. He panted as his flames died down slightly before turning to where he heard his classmates continuing to fight the White Fang.
"... Whelp! Time to see if I'm a badass at dual-wielding too!" Rin said as he charged down the street, swords in hand.

Thea: Nerd.
Bryant: At first glance, Adam's far greater skill and training combined with his speed would've given him the edge and the win.
Thea: Especially since he could take any of what Rin could dish out and return it twice as strong. And since he's faster and more skilled than Rin, the Exorcist would have a pretty hard time getting around his sword. But despite that, Rin still ended up taking the win for several reasons.
Bryant: First, Adam might've had more skill, but Rin far outclassed him in raw power.
Thea: Adam's Moonslice should be on the same level as Weiss' iceberg feat, or over 230 tons of TNT. But Rin's regular demon form was stronger than Amaimon, and Rin's True Demon form was stronger.
Bryant: Amaimon could create earthquakes by simply tapping the ground. A feat which would require around 15 kilotons of TNT. A feat almost 60 times more powerful than what Adam scales too, and Amaimon did this as though he was playing a clicker game. And Rin in his human form was tough enough to tank several punches from Amaimon.
Thea: And what damage that Adam did manage to do, Rin instantly recovered from with his healing factor.
Bryant: In fact, the difference in survivability was rather clear cut. Both are faster than bullets, but Adam went out his way to block the bullets while Rin simply shrugged them off.
Thea: And while Adam got impaled by blades and died, Rin got impaled in a similar spot and was fine in just a few minutes while in his human form. But didn't Adam have the edge in speed? Couldn't he just continue to wear Rin down?
Bryant: An excellent point, however, it's unlikely that Adam had that much of a speed advantage. Rin proved capable of matching Amaimon fairly early in his series while in his regular demon form. As he's grown stronger, and his True Demon form is much stronger than that, there's no reason to say that Rin wouldn't be fast enough to keep up. Especially since he had the edge in mobility and range with his flame attacks and flight.
Thea: But the real nail in the coffin was Rin's flames. Remember, Aura is a forcefield that powers your soul, and Rin's flames are capable of burning souls! So Adam using Aura to defend himself was like the equivalent of using paper to protect yourself from a burning building.
Bryant: And as Adam's Moonslice was powered by Aura, this means that Rin could also simply burn Adam's attacks, drastically limiting any of Adam's methods of offense. Adam might've been a powerful opponent in his own right, but Rin simply had the strength, healing, and flames necessary to halt this charging bull.
Thea: I said that Adam was a demon before. It only makes sense that he would burn. Which means the winner of this WI Battle is Rin Okumura!
Somehow this ended up being one of my most wanted Death Battles. So I had fun writing this one. It's one of the few battles that Rin actually wins, and that's an extra point to the MU. Anyways, as per the usual, leave a review! Azure out!
