Carly and Rick are walking though the streets, Carly still in shock over her previous actions.

''Aw man can't believe I did that.''

''As I told you Townley, lot of bottled up anger in you, what better time to repent than a purge.''

''I'm not like these people, I can't just kill one night a year than sleep well the rest of the time.'' Carly groaned.

''Well better start getting used to it because we got some fucking company.'' Rick said, pushing her behind her as more purgers show up. Before a fight can break out, the orb-like probe lands between Rick and Carly and assembles suits of weaponized flying armor onto their bodies. ''Time to (burp) Purge Carly.''

With that Rick immediately begins to slaughter the mob, Carly tries to stay out of it but they surround her, and she ducks down beating her suit with pitch forks and mechete's. Suddenly's Carly's change to red under the light of the full moon, and she screams animalistically as she grabs one of them and rips his head off, than going on a violent rampage shooting every purger with her attached guns.

''There it is, there's that repression.'' Rick said excitedly, lightly punching her shoulder as she stands there panting. With that they fly off with rockets attached to the suit feet, looking for their ship. Rick succeeds in finding it, crashed into the side of a building, but turns around to find Carly once again slaughtering every person in sight

''Geez. Wow Carly. Now you're uh, your getting into it.'' Rick said, a bit nervous now. Carly screaming out swears at her targets.''

''I think, uh, I think those people were just hiding Carly.''

''I don't give a shit!'' Carly yelled.

''Okay Carly, now you're just shooting corpses.''

''TAKE THAT MOTHERFUCKERS!'' Carly screamed, Rick grabbing her and pulling her away.

''Yes very good Carly. Good job. [ Screams ] Time to go home.''

Reaching the ship, they find Arthricia crawling on the ground nearby. As they train their weapons on her, she explains her true intentions: to use the ship to murder the arrogant rich people who force the peasants to fight to the death.

Carly, drunk with rage, demands on killing Arthricia on the spot, Rick saying it's clear she's having a bad reaction to the injection and tells her to hand them over but instead Carly goes on an angry rant, threatening to kill Rick in increasingly violent fashions, in response Rick shoots her with a tranq dart, and asks Arthricia where the rich people are.

At a mansion outside of town, the planet's wealthy make a dinner toast to another successful year of The Festival, which has been going on for thousands of years. Moments later, Arthricia, now wearing Carly's power suit bursts in with Rick, who has a tied up unconscious Carly back. Rick tells the rich people that he has nothing against them, but that Arthricia is deeply offended by their forcing the peasants to kill each other while suffering no consequence themselves. He further explains that Arthricia's suit of power armor is a way of fairly apportioning power among them. Arthricia then begins to exact her revenge, slaughtering the rich people and inviting Rick to join in the bloodbath. Rick initially refuses, saying the killing has become "gratuitous", but eventually joins in after being asked a second time, having fun with it.

As the sun rises in the morning, Carly finally wakes at the ship.

As Rick and Carly are preparing to leave, the townsfolk discuss building a new society from the ground up, and Rick suggests using food to barter. After Rick and Carly leave, the discussion about food escalates into a bloody brawl. One of the townsfolk stops the brawl and explains a plan for stopping the violence, implying it'll start all over again.

On their way back to Earth, Carlt reflects on her rage-fueled rampage with shame. Rick assures her that injecton she took had Purgenol in it, a chemical that amplifies a person's violent tendencies. So it wasn't really her fault.

''Oh, boy. That's a relief.'' Carly said.

''Yep, still the same old Carly, no deeper problems to worry of.'' Rick said throwing the needle to the back, but a zoom in of it shows a label, "Now Purgenol-Free".

It's implied Rick knew this, and simply lied.
