Chapter 4
My eyes sting. I gasped trying to breath in more air but not being able to. Couldn't breath. I climbed out of bed. Hard to see, so foggy. I heard shouts coming from somewhere else in the house. I opened my door. Can't breath. I fell forward. I crawled, it was easier to breath down here. Blinding light all of a sudden. Heat. My face hurts. My eyes sting. Can't breath. Fell down the stairs. Ow. I'm crying. Tears running down my face from my burning eyes. Cough. Cough. I pushed open the front door and climbed out. Where is everyone? I'm scared. Mom. Where are you? Cough. Cough. I rubbed my eyes trying to make them stop stinging. I heard a scream. I ran towards it. My mom came staggering out of the house and fell onto the ground. Mom! I ran toward her. My tears fell on her face. She screamed again. What's wrong? Tell me what's wrong. I reached for her hand. Cold. So cold like ice. I cried some more. Don't leave me. Please. I need you. Cold hand. I got up. Sirens. Always run from sirens. I ran. Trip. Pain. Fear. I came to a dead end. Cold. So cold. I curled up in one of the dark corners. I cried some more. Tears. Water on my cheeks. It hurts. Mom where did you go? Cold like ice. Hard ground. Shiver. Cough. Cough. So tired. Sleep.
yeah, i know it's short but the next chapter didn't really tie into it. R&R please!
