Hi. So this is a new story, but it's going to be secondary to my other story. Then after I finish my other one, this one will be mandatory update. So I may update every two months, or every month. It really just depends. Also I hope this is a new concept...hmmm.

(Chapter 1/Third POV)

A girl sat alone on a bunk bed in the Hermes's cabin. She had dark, silky, black hair tied back into a high ponytail. Her eyes were a light shade of green, almost white, which made her look blind. She had perfect tan skin and appeared to be around 8. Her focus was trained in the ceiling as she stared into space.

A boy sprinted into the cabin, who looked to be about a couple years older than the girl. He had shaggy blond hair, with dyed brown and forest green streaks. His eyes started out dark green, then faded into a lighter shade. He was wearing some simple jeans, a Camp Half-blood shirt, and tennis shoes.

Sprinting to the bed, he jumped on it. The girl yelped in surprise.

"Rocky?" she questioned. She propped herself up on the bed.

"The one and only. What are doing just sitting in bed, Persephone? It's such a beautiful day outside!" Rocky said.

"I told you it's just Percy, and it's not like I can enjoy a beautiful day outside. I can't see," she huffed.

She sounded to mature for a 8-year-old. Like she's experienced too much, to soon.

"Well, you are coming outside. Sitting inside all day is not good for you, plus it's almost dinner time," commanded Rocky.

He grasped Percy's hand and dragged her out of the cabin.

"Richard!" Percy yelled in protest but allowed herself to be dragged.

The two of them were seated, on a very crowded picnic table. It was filled with the unclaimed, and a few Hermes children. The dining hall was buzzing with chatter. A grumpy Dionysus was sitting at the head table with Chiron.

Percy had a few pieces of steak on her plate and was blindly -literally- picking at it with her fork.

Rocky nudged her shoulder with his, "C'mon, you got to eat some food. What's got you under the weather?"

"It's nothing," Percy said.

"Oh, don't give me that stuff."

"I-, it's really nothing. I prom-" she promptly got cut off.

Screaming could be heard from the hill. Chiron was the first out of the dining hall, followed by some of the older campers.

Atop the hill was three kids, and a satyr. Two boys and two girls. The boy -about 13- had sandy blond hair, and had a battered blue shirt, ripped jeans, and worn-down tennis shoes. One girl -around 12- had spiky black hair, ripped jeans, black shirt, combat boots, and chains dangling from her jeans.

The other was around 8, and had blond hair, and baggy pajama's. The satyr, looked like your typical satyr, brown hair, goat legs, but this one had no horns yet.

The girl with spiky hair was fighting of monsters, with a shield that looked like Aegis and a spear, while the satyr picked up the blond girl and carried her towards camp. The blond boy was helping the girl fight off monsters.

Chiron picked up his bow, along with some Apollo children, and started shooting monsters. Other campers grabbed swords and ran to help, Rocky along with them.

Just as the spiky haired girl was about to get cut down by a cyclops, Rocky shoved her out of the way. The cyclops brought his club down and struck the blond-haired boy.

A scream pierced the air.

Rocky fell to ground dead. The girl was safe, but Rocky was dead. The rest of the monsters had died.

Percy recognized the scream. She knew exactly who it was and screamed. It was agonizing scream.

She knew her way around camp well enough, and ran to the Hermes cabin.

The other kids may have been safe, but Percy lost someone. The only one she bothered getting close to.

Her best friend. The only one who bothered getting to know the shy, blind girl.

That day, Persephone lost everything and the whole camp knew it.

Hope you guys like that. The chapters will get longer, but the first chapter for me just starts you off, I try to make people want to read more, so it's often going to be short.
