Hawkeye felt his heart hammering in his chest. Shaking hands touched his wet cheeks and wiped away the tears that were dripping from his tired eyes.

"This is it. It's over for me."

He slumped down in a dark corner of the supply closet and quietly let his crying turn into whispered sobs.

"I can't take it anymore!"

Hawkeye curled up and placed his head between his legs. Everything was too damn hard to deal with these days. Everything. The pressure, OR, his friends, the war— everything.

"Everything hurts! Just stop already!"

At this point he was ready to do anything to stop the pain. Anything.
