The scene starts with two men standing in front of a temple. The camera is a bit too far away to see who these people are.
"Somehow, I already don't like this." Sasuke mutters. There is that weird feeling he gets whenever they watch something they don't like to see.
"It does have that strange aura." Shikamaru agrees with him.
"What is it, Lord Danzo?" One of the men asks. It's now obvious that one of the men there is Danzo. "It's almost time for the assembly to start."
"Ugh." The collective sigh of various adults is heard throughout the room.
But Itachi notices something else. "That voice."
Then the screen flicks to Danzo. "What if the village doesn't change?" It's as if there is once again one of those weird cuts in which information is conveniently left out.
"I feel like we are missing some context." Sakura mutters. Why is it that every time an Uchiha appears there is some context that's conveniently left out?
"When aren't we?" Neji responds. Every time another new fragment appears there is some context, they have to figure out themselves. It's rather annoying.
The screen turns to the other man and it's Shisui. "Lord Hokage has promised to make it change." He said with his sharingan activated.
"Shisui!" Most of the people in the room just realized what the most likely outcome is of this situation. But they tried to ignore it for as long as they possibly could.
"This is the first time your in one of the scenes." Kiba turns to look at Shisui.
Shisui does take note of it but there is no smile on his face. "I don't look much older than now though."
"I have a bad feeling about this." Fugaku doesn't quite want to believe it. He already knew that everyone in his family died, with the exception of Sasuke, it's not something that he'll like to be reminded off.
Then Danzo starts talking again. "Even if Lord Third is satisfied, the distrust among the leaf will not go away."
"I never liked that guy." Jiraiya mutters. He's seen the some of the most changes within the most over the years, and ever since he was a child the man creeped him out.
"It's only because he's so useful that he's still around." Shikaku said in response. Like most of the other people he doesn't like the man, but he can acknowledge that he's been useful throughout the years.
"And that he's threatening everyone who opposes him." Inoichi says back.
"Could you elaborate on that?"
"Maybe later." It's not like he wants to talk about how his family has been threatened for decades.
"I realize that. But in time…" Shisui starts until he is cut off.
"Besides, someone who's always suspicious like me will never change." Danzo looks down and his face is obscured by shadows. It's certainly suspicious. "What will you do then?" the man asks.
"I'm getting shivers." Naruto is visibly shaking in his seat. Sasuke inches a little closer and nods along.
"Me too."
"But Lord Danzo…" It's clear in Shisui's voice that he's starting to hesitate.
"When the time comes, will you use your Kotoamatsukami on me too?" The camera starts zooming in on Danzo's face. The music behind the scene tells the audience that there is something more going on.
"What?" Kiba blinks. He's never heard of that move before.
"Kotoamatsukami. It's the most powerful genjutsu that exists." Itachi explains but like usual it doesn't really explain anything.
"It can turn someone completely around and they wouldn't even be aware." Shisui continues to explain.
The explanation dawns onto the people. "That's scary." Hinata says the collective thought of everyone in the room.
Shisui seemingly sensing the feelings of the others in the room explains a little more. "Good thing only I can use it. And when I do use it, it takes ten years per eye to gain the power to use it again."
"It's still too scary of a technique." Shino responds.
"The mangekyo tends to be like that." Overpowered and very scary seem to be synonymous.
Shisui looks down, as if he's trying to ignore the implications. "I'm…"
Then suddenly Danzo starts moving. "Your sharingan shall be in my safekeeping!" the man yells out. And his hand reaches out. But Shisui is a professional and is able to catch his hand and catch the old man in a genjutsu.
"Phew. I was scared there for a second." The kids sigh in relief.
"Me too." Sasuke smiled.
"You are pretty cool Shisui." Sakura turns around to complement the boy.
The adults didn't quite trust the scene quite yet. It might have been the experience with Uchiha and their reality defying things. "Why do I get the feeling this isn't the end of it."
"It's only genjutsu. You'll snap out of it shortly." Shisui turns to walk away but Danzo isn't done yet. He's able to move his hand and then punches Shisui right in the gut. It takes the boy of guard.
"How?" the people in the room scream out. It should be impossible to get out of an Uchiha genjutsu without the sharingan.
"Sharingan induced genjutsu should not be able to be broken by someone else." Fugaku really doesn't like that smelly old man.
Then using his single usable arm Danzo slings the boy around and is able to take his sharingan with ease. Shisui falls to the ground. Blood is seeping out from the hole in which his eye used to be.
"Fuck!" Shisui curses. He didn't expect something like that to happen to him at any point in his life. There have been plenty attempts in the past but no one ever succeeded.
"I would say please keep in mind your language." Mikoto glares at the boy. "But I guess that's the perfect word to describe this act."
"I think we need to keep a closer eye on Danzo." Shikaku declares.
Hiruzen sighs. "I think so too." He doesn't want to think about it but if he went this far there is no knowing what else he's done.
Danzo lifts his hand with the sharingan up and takes of the bandages that cover his eye.
Shisui is shocked. Danzo also has a sharingan.
"Where in the world did he get that?" Fugaku yells out. It's one thing to have Kakashi having one of those eyes, in a legal way, another to have an actual thief around.
"Knowing Danzo? It could literally be anywhere." Inoichi shrugs. It wouldn't surprise him if the man actually went to a former battlefield to scavenge the bodies.
"Kagami." Hiruzen mutters.
Shisui manages to catch it. "Grandpa?"
"Danzo has inherited his dislike for the Uchiha from my teacher. It's unfortunate but I highly doubt he'll implant an eye from someone he didn't know." That wouldn't be his style. No if he's going to implant an eye it's got to be from someone that he trusts.
"This is treason. We should arrest him as soon as possible." Fugaku would run to his office as soon as he gets free from this room.
"I agree. I always thought it strange he came back from that mission so calm, even though one of our closest friends died." Hiruzen could feel the headache coming up. This is not what he had expected at all.
"Do you think he might have killed him?" Shisui asks. He never got to know his grandfather, but he did hear the stories about the man.
"Maybe not directly but he might have seen the opportunity and took it. He isn't one to leave loose ends." Kakashi narrowed his eyes at the Hokage. That doesn't quite sound right.
The man's sharingan turns to white signaling that he's gone blind there. "I'll use your eye to replace this one."
Shisui stands up. He's ready for another attack.
"Give me the other eye too." Danzo yells and his minions appear next to him.
"Like hell he is!" Naruto yells at the man.
"Exactly my sentiment!" Shisui nods. Like hell he's just going to do that.
Shisui makes some signs and uses the Uchiha style fireball attack to at least buy himself some time. But Danzo's minions manage to counter it with a water style technique. Once the damp fades from the field Shisui is gone.
"It's a teleportation jutsu!" They realize.
"It's my signature for a reason." Shisui points at his chest. It's mainly because he practiced it so often to be more like the fourth Hokage, but they didn't need to know that.
The others don't quite share his cheer. "This is most certainly not good." Chouza mutters.
"Go after him." Danzo orders and his minions are off.
Next up Shisui and Itachi are standing on a cliff above the river.
"Danzo took my right eye." Shisui starts. Again, something has been left out for the audience. "He doesn't trust me. He intends to protect the village in his own way no matter what it takes or how it looks. I suspect he'll come after my left eye as well."
"What are you planning boy?" Hiashi glares. He can already feel it coming. And it's not a good feeling mind you.
"I think… I might die here." Shisui stares at his hand. There are ink stains from all the writing he's done. His fingers are shaking. After everything he's been through this is the way he's going to die.
"No! You can't!" Sasuke yells out. He stands up from his seat and rushes to give the teen a hug.
"It makes sense. I wasn't there when the other Uchiha were slaughtered."
"So, I want to give it to you before he has a chance." Shisui raises his hand and takes out his other eye.
"Doesn't that hurt?" Ino wonders. She can't imagine the pain they must feel getting all those injuries.
"I bet it does." Shisui hasn't ripped out an eye before but he can imagine.
"It hurts like a bitch." Kakashi could reaffirm.
"You would know."
Itachi shows no visible reaction but it's obvious that he's distressed.
"You're the only person I can count on, my best friend." Shisui smiles as blood trickles down his face. There is something quite disturbing about it. "Please protect this village and the honor of the Uchiha name."
"I must say you can't really pull off that bloodied look." Ino responds. Some people can look really hot in it. Shisui is better without.
"Can anyone?" Mikoto wonders.
The wind blows by Itachi's face. "I accept. What will you do now?" Itachi asks.
"If I die several circumstances will change." Shisui takes a couple steps back. "I've left behind a note already."
"I don't think that will go the way you want it to." Jiraiya has enough experience to know that something like that won't work.
"Danzo will figure it out and tamper with it as well." Kakashi knows.
Shisui shakes his head. "Why didn't I think of that?" Itachi only gives him a pat on the shoulder.
Itachi realizing what the boy is about to do yells out. "Wait! Shisui!"
"Don't stop me, Itachi." Shisui smiles once again for the last time and lets himself fall of the cliff into the river below.
"That must be very scary." Hinata mutters out. She can't really imagine fallint that much.
"Super long freefall from high but then also blind." Kiba summarizes not that it brings him any comfort.
"The highest I've fallen is from the Hokage monument." Naruto tells the group. Everyone turns to stare at him.
"How are you still alive?"
"Idiots float." Sasuke explains completely forgetting that there is no water benaeath the monument.
Itachi reaches out but is too late to grab him. "Shisui." He whispers and then his eyes change into the familiar mangekyo sharingan.
"Now we know how he got his." Kakashi notes.
"I guess."
"That certainly told us quite a bit." Shikaku notes. There is something going on with the Uchiha clan but for some reason it has yet to be revealed.
"That Danzo should be stopped?" Inoichi suggests.
Kakashi snorts. "We should have known that since he tried to assassinate the third hokage."
"He did what?" Most of the people were in complete shock at that.
"Sarutobi, what do you have to say for yourself?" Now Fugaku was mad in all capitals. He will stop at nothing to get the justice they deserved.
"I wanted to forgive him since he's my friend, but it seems that I needed to step in much earlier." The hokage sighs.
"He most certainly doesn't consider you a friend." Naruto grumbles. Friends don't do such a thing.
"He always called me a sentimental fool." The man was seemingly lost in his own memories.
"Please let the next one be a bit happier." Tenten prays. The last couple of fragments have been rather heavy with the different stuff they revealed.
The screen lights up and the words 'A two man team' appear on the board.
"This sounds at least a bit more lighthearted." Kakashi joked but the room was still in mourning from the last fragment.
"So long it's talking about us and not the enemy."
This scene starts with a close-up of the Kyuubi's face. "This doesn't look good. And you're a mess." The creature says.
"The Kyuubi again." Iruka glares. Even if that creature had feelings he still doesn't know what to think about it.
"It's certainly been a bit since we saw him." Shikamaru says.
Naruto is on the ground panting. "Idiot. Just watch me…" he says.
"What's got him so tired?" Sakura asks.
"Maybe we'll find out." Iruka suggests. It's not like they had the answer.
The two of them are separated by a large red gate. "If you want me to lend you power, I wouldn't mind doing it, Naruto." Kurama uses the boy's name.
"You sure are talking to me a lot, lately." Naruto notes. There is sweat dripping down his face and he's clearly exhausted. "I'm glad you want to lend me power, but before you do, there's something I have to say."
"Is he going to reject it?" Sasuke wonders out loud.
"Seeing the state, the kid is in I doubt that he'll do that." Itachi responds.
"It would be a stupid decision. And the Kyuubi does seem pretty nice here." Shisui suggests. Watching this does relief his stress a bit.
The Kyuubi didn't expect that. Slowly Naruto manages to move himself into a more comfortable position that faces the beast. "Thanks for helping me with the other Madara back there." Shock is clear on the fox's face. "That extra power really saved me!"
"That's so Naruto I don't know what else I could have expected." Jiraiya laughs. That kid can change the heart of everyone he comes across.
"Don't thank me! It's creeping me out!" Kurama yells back. He's almost growling. "I just did that because I'd rather deal with you than Madara! Besides, I could only give you a tiny bit of chakra because of this cage. I just wanted to see you fight a little more." The fox is rather proud of himself. "That's right. Just to pass the time!"
"The Kyuubi is a tsundere?" Shisui blinks in shock. This wasn't what he was expecting at all.
"What's a tsundere?" Naruto asks.
The adults quickly respond. "Nothing you kids need to worry about."
Naruto did not appreciate that. "Hey! Why do you have to get mad when I just thanked you?" Naruto points at the fox. "You don't have to stop glaring at me but you could at least work on your attitude. You're always like—" Then Naruto stops. He noticed something.
There is a giant fist in front of him. Kurama is ready to partner up. "Hit your chakra with mine." The fox instructs.
"They are going to team up!" Kiba yells. Would it be anything like his clan and their ninken?
"Friendship forever!" the kids cheer.
Itachi nods along. "Friendship is magic after all."
"You do realize that the kyuubi has killed thousands?" Iruka quickly returns.
"Most of you have killed someone at least once. It's not that weird." Shikamaru points out. The adults didn't want to admit he had a point.
"Are we going to play chakra tug-of-war again?" Naruto asks.
"You idiot! We don't need to do that this time!" Kurama is smiling. "It's not like I have anything else to do. So, we could if you really wanted to."
"Sounds fun." Naruto smiles. Maybe he should ask the fox to do that at some point.
"I don't think that would be a fair game when you are playing with a literal chakra monster." Jiraiya points out but Naruto doesn't really get it anyway.
Naruto smirks and raises his fist to touch Kurama's. As soon as the connections is made a sound rings in the room and the two of them smile.
"Somehow this feels very wholesome." Sakura smiles. If only she could have a fluffy friend like that.
"I agree. It's most certainly better than the last one." Kakashi quickly agrees. If only the future could have more hugs and cuddles.
Back in the real-world Naruto opens his eyes. He puts his hand on his belly and the seal starts to get undone. A flashback starts. It's of the time Iruka said that Naruto and the fox are two separate beings. And that Naruto is someone worthy of respect.
Then Naruto starts speaking. "You are a partner of a citizen from the hidden Leaf." The seal is done unraveling and the gates open. "Kurama! Come on let's do this."
"I like the parallels here." Shisui laughs. Iruka glares at him. He doesn't know how to feel about that.
The power surges from Naruto's body and his entire body is covered in a glow. Black lines go over the golden glow and Naruto looks like he's the sun itself. Then the scene ends.
"That felt so epic." Naruto is back to bouncing in his seat but this time out of excitement.
"Now I'm hyped for a battle that won't even happen for a decade." Sakura agrees with the boy.
"Sometimes the world can be like that." Itachi smiles. It's been a while since he felt like this.
"Shisui did you take all the notes you needed to?" Mikoto asks the boy. After everything they've see she could see why he would hesitate for a bit.
"I did. Even if I didn't like making notes about my own death." Shisui responds.
"Welcome to the club." Fugaku mutters. He's died as well. What makes this any different?
"At the very least we got a good bit of information out of it."
"Number? What's next?" Lee asks. He wants more epic things to see.
'To see the world through your eyes.' Is the next sentence displayed on the screen.
"Why do I get the feeling this is about the Uchiha once again." Hiashi sighs. Why not the Hyuuga for once?
"They are rather important to the future." Is the only thing he get's in response.

Naruto and Kurama make an awesome team, and does it count as cheating when he could use the fox's advice in games?
I'm back!
Sorry it took so long. I kind of lost all motivation but now I'm back. I don't know how often I'll post but it should come every now and then.
Also happy birthday Shisui. I don't think you'll like this present but hey. The people wanted it.
