Author's Note: To the lawyers: Look, it's not mine, I'm broke, and I promise I'll return them, only slightly damaged. To everyone else: Enjoy the story and the madness and fun of skiing, and don't forget to leave a review!

Arthur Dent looked queasily at his skis and the mountain, and contemplated whether this was a twisted form of revenge for the Movie Theater Incident.
"Don't worry!" Ford said. "It's fun!"

"Going down a vertical mountain with boards attached is fun?" Arthur looked at the sign. "What does a black diamond mean?"

"Absolutely incredibly remarkably easy-peasy," Ford said.

Later, Arthur collapsed at the bottom, frozen like an icicle, twisted in to a position previously attained only by famed Rikikean contortionists, and with so many injuries the entire A-Basin medical staff was dispatched to help him.

Ford said, "So I lied."
