I am absolutely stoked about this chapter
Len finished his food feeling stuffed "That was amazing."
"You cleaned those bones off like no one I've ever seen." Kaito said looking impressed.
"I don't like wasting food, unlike you." Len replied, he was annoyed at Kaito for leaving a small bit of flesh on a few of the bones, even if Kaito's bones were also cleaned for the most part.
"I didn't wasted food, I just finish chicken off like most people, I'm no professional like you." Kaito defended himself.
"Whatever." Len said.
They left the table and went inside the game room of the party, to play a little Whac-A-Mole.
"Miku..." Teto said as she took a spoon full of soup.
"Huh?" Miku replied after swallowing some of her own share of soup.
"You like him don't you?" Teto asked.
"Of course I like him, he's such a wonderful person." Miku answered.
"No, I meant romantically." Teto said.
"What? Of course not!" Miku was also not good at lying either.
"Go ahead, lie to yourself all you want." Teto continued to finish her soup.
"I really don't," Miku said "do I?" She asked this to herself.
Kaito finished his Whac-A-Mole game and got a perfect score.
"How'd ya like that?" Kaito bragged.
"You're so good at this Kaito!" Len was extremely impressed.
"Your turn." Kaito gave Len the mallet.
"I'll give it my all." Len got ready.
The game started, the moles started popping up at insane speed and Len started hitting them. It was extremely exhausting, he was missing so many of them, it was like everytime he managed to successfully whack a mole, he'd miss two of them. Obviously the moles weren't popping at light speed, but to Len it felt like they were, that's how much he was struggling. The time limit finally expired, the game was over. Len managed to hit about 30% of the moles.
"I'm nowhere near as good as you." Len said disappointed in himself.
"Don't worry Len, you can improve with hard work." Kaito tried to cheer him up.
"Oh well, I'm glad I got to see you play." Len smiled and let his disappointment go.
"That's the happy Len I want to see," Kaito said "there are so many more arcade games, I'm you'll do good somewhere."
"C'mon Miku, are you sure that's all?" Teto said as they were walking back to Miku's private room after finishing the food.
"Yeah, until the music starts again, I just wanna lay on my bed and rest." Miku said.
"We could be having so much more fun." Teto was displeased.
"I just don't wanna tire myself out." Miku said.
"Let's be honest, Len is the one who killed your energy that you had at the start of the party." Teto complained "he has exhausted your mind."
"Did someone mentioned Len?" Rin popped and said.
"Who in the world are you?" Miku said, shocked by Rin's sudden appearence.
"I'm Rin." She answered.
"She's Len's older twin sister," Teto told Miku "and trust me, she's nothing like him."
Miku paid attention to Rin's face.
"I see the resemblence." Miku smiled and went for a handshake.
Rin accepted the handshake and asked "How do you know my dear brother?"
"They danced together." Teto told her.
Rin felt awkward "I don't know what to say now."
"Ignore it, I'm going to my private room." Miku told her.
"I wanna see your private room." Rin requested enthusiastically.
"Sure, you didn't even need to ask." Miku answered.
The moment Rin walking with them to the private room, she slipped on the wet floor and felt flat on the surface.
"Who spills juice on the floor like this?" Rin started crying loudly with her tears outnumbering the amount of juice there was on the floor as everyone in the party stares at her feeling awkward.
"You were right," Miku said "she's nothing like him."
"Yeah, she's an absolute loser." Teto said.
Len and Kaito were playing Pong on an arcade cabinet. The score was 9-9, both of them needed one more point to take the victory.
"Gotta give it to you Len, you proved to be way better at this then I was expecting." Kaito praised him.
"I'm gonna win this too, you'll see." Len bragged.
"Keep in mind Len, just because I want you to succeed doesn't mean I'll make this easy," Kaito told him "I'm not holding back one bit."
"I don't want you to." Len expressed his desire to face Kaito at his best.
It was intense, both of them were having a tough time scoring that final point. Everytime one of them thought they had it, the other managed to make the safe. It went like this for over fifteen minutes. In the end, with all his soul, Len managed to achiege the winning score.
"Woohoo! I did it, I beated you! After all that self doubt, I actually beated you!" Len just kept jumping of joy.
"Congratulations kid, you've earned it." Kaito whispered.
Miku and Teto had grabbed Rin up and were drying and cleaning the juice off of her clothes. Teto even massaged Rin's injured areas.
"Hey Rin, was it really you who slipped off the spilled juice on the floor." Neru came and asked as she was giggling.
"Yeah, no need to make fun of me." Rin said defensively.
"This has to be the worst moment of your day Rin." Teto said.
"Not really." Rin said.
"What do you mean not really?" Miku was surprised.
"I've heard earlier today that the N.D.L. are very near our space station these days." Rin told them.
"Notorious Devil Ladies?" Miku asked in an intimidated voice.
"Yeah, the thought of them invading our space station terrifies me." Rin said.
"Stop with your unreasonable nightmares Rin," Neru yelled at her "there's no way they can invade our space sta-" *BOOOOOOM* a big explosion was heard, the nearby wall was shattered. It was the most dreaded duo of space pirates, the N.D.L.
"Nevermind," Neru said "you were right."
The lady with the short brown hair had an evil smile, she was obviously the leader of the two and the more dominant one. The lady with the long pink hair stood with an emotionoless and menacing face, she might be the one who follows her leader's orders, but she should not be underestimated one bit.
"NOOOOO!" Rin got scared, stood up, and ran away, she was a complete coward.
Neru grabbed a laser-sword and ran towards the brown haired lady "I'm not letting you ruin such a wonderful day.!" Neru yelled.
The brown haired lady picked her own laser sword and stabbed Neru in the abdomen before Neru could do anything. Neru fell on the ground.
"No, this can't be." Miku looked in horror.
The pink haired lady was chasing Teto as Tero was running away for her life. The pink haired lady swinged her laser-sword so brutally that it knocked Teto outcold.
All the guests were running away, the two ladies were killing them one by one.
"W-why are you two here?" Miku asked looking scared.
"Why do you wanna know?" The pink haired lady said.
"I think we should tell her Luka." The brown haired lady said.
"Fine Meiko," Luka replied "we were searching for you little girl.
"Miku was stunned to learn this.
Gotta be honest, this is one of my favourite chapters I've ever written for any of my stories. No jokes, no exaggeration, I'm 100% serious. See y'all next time.
