"Did they finally destroy that thing?" Leo asked nervously as everyone stared at the massive smoke cloud created from the attack on the Great Leviathan.
"I have no idea Leo, that was our best shot but there's no telling what that creature is capable of." Jack admitted as the smoke cleared only to reveal the Great Leviathan looked uninjured from the blast.
"No way, how can it have possibly survived being blasted by Shooting Quasar Dragon and the three Egyptian God Cards at once?" Joey questioned in shock. "Is that thing immortal?"
Sky frowned before her eyes widened slightly. "Wait, take a closer look."
Hearing that everyone looked only to see a faint crimson glow around the Great Leviathan as it roared again.
"That… something's happening to it." Luna whispered just as beams of crimson light shot out of the Great Leviathan before it exploded again and roared in pain as it fell into the ocean.
"Ok, now someone tell me it's over." Angel mentioned as the Great Leviathan sunk down beneath the waves. "That was everything we could possibly throw at that thing."
"It is." the Dark Magician Girl answered landing in front of them. "You have my deepest thanks; the threat of the Great Leviathan endangered the Spirit World as well as your own. We will be forever in your debt."
"That thing was threatening everyone, we wouldn't have been able to stop it without all of you helping us." Yusei mentioned to her before blinking as the marks of the Crimson Dragon began to glow as the Crimson Dragon itself appeared above them as they began glowing.
"What's going on now?" Joey asked seeing that.
Looking up at the Crimson Dragon and then at his crimson glowing hands Yusei smiled softly. "We're finally going back to our own time."
Yami closed his eyes as he switched places with Yugi again.
"I guess that means this is goodbye." Yugi asked them. "It was amazing to meet all of you."
"Yugi's right, I'm never going to forget any of you guys." Joey agreed with a grin.
"The feeling's mutual, we're not going to forget all of this." Crow grinned.
"I don't know how, but we'll meet again one day." Angel smiled.
"Definitely, and we'll be looking forward to the day we meet again." Yugi smiled as the Signers, Sky, and Angel vanished in a crimson glow.
Kaiba meanwhile was staring at where they had been standing moments earlier thoughtfully. 'Maybe it'll be sooner than you all think.'

In New Domino City a crimson glow appeared in the center of the Kaiba Dome as the Signers, Sky, and Angel appeared along with their Duel Runners and Duel Boards.
"Home sweet home, I'm going to miss everyone though." Angel admitted.
"I know what you mean, that was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity and one I'm going to treasure for the rest of my life." Leo agreed.
Suddenly they heard sirens racing towards the Kaiba Dome just as several Sector Security officers arrived on their Duel Runners and police cars.
"What in the world?" Jack questioned. "What's going on here?"
"Oh thank goodness, you're back!" called a familiar voice as Lazar got out of one of the police cars and ran up to them. "What happened, you all just disappeared a week ago with no explanation."
Yusei frowned hearing that. "We'll explain everything but before that we all could use some rest."
"Yes, of course I understand completely." Lazar nodded. "I'm just glad you're all back safe and sound."
"Of course, we are. You expected anything less?" Jack questioned before sighing. "Still, we'll have a lot to talk with you about tomorrow."
Lazar just nodded hearing that as all the Sector Security officers drove off leaving the Signers, Sky, and Angel on their own before they all exchanged a small nod and headed back to get some rest after everything that had happened.

"Battle City? You all met the King of Games Yugi Muto and dueled against him in one of the most famous tournaments of all time?" Lazar questioned in shock.
"It wasn't just that, first we ended up… somehow showing Pegasus himself Duel Monsters as a child." Crow answered. "Actually, seeing us duel inspired him but it meant that Yugi and the others all had Synchro Monsters all those years ago."
"After that we ended up in Battle City like we told you and ended up competing in the tournament… Yusei and Skye managed to make it to the final tag-duel before Yugi and Marik beat them and then Yugi managed to win the final duel against Marik so… the tournament ended more or less the same way as we remembered it going from the history books." Leo added.
"Well, I suppose in one way time travel worked out better for us this time than last time." Lazar admitted. "Hopefully we can all keep our promise to them and make sure the future doesn't end up with the end of the world."
"We will." Yusei nodded calmly before frowning. "Then again, there was one other thing."
"Something other than the Battle City Tournament?" Lazar inquired curiously. "What do you mean?"
Jack frowned. "The Orichalcos, a dangerous mystical stone that could steal people's souls… it was used by a 10,000-year-old Atlantean named Dartz to try and revive this ancient monster of his… it also created warped copies of our dragons but we managed to destroy both the Orichalcos and this Great Leviathan with everyone's help."
Lazar just stared in disbelief hearing that. "Well… I don't know what to say, but just looking I can tell you're being honest. What are you going to do now?"
Crow couldn't help but grin hearing that. "That's obvious, Team 5Ds is going to make sure we're prepared for the upcoming WRGP. We are the defending champions after all."
(Well, it was quite the adventure for the Signers, Sky, and Angel but after meeting Maximillian Pegasus, competing in Battle City, and going up against Dartz and the Orichalcos they're finally home. Hope you enjoyed this story. A minor question for anyone reading this though, should I go with a third part where Yugi, Kaiba, and the others arrive to compete in the new WRGP? Not sure if I'll go with something like that but who knows… if there's any interest, I might consider it. See you in the next story.)
