Just what is that game, if it is from Igor and Margaret why did they send it to my uncle and Nanako? Just what's going on, and he said the events aren't identical but so far they've… Yu thought only for the same boy from the other day to crash his bike again as he ended up stuck in a trash can.

"S-Someone…" the boy groaned as he rolled around trying to free himself.

Seeing that Yu walked over before helping the boy out of the trashcan and making sure that he was ok as he got back on his bike. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, you saved me." the boy answered before pausing. "Oh right, you're the new transfer student Yu Narukami right?"

"Yeah, that's right." Yu nodded.

"Nice to meet you, my name's Yosuke Hanamura." the boy smiled before frowning. "Hey, did you hear about the incident yesterday? They said they found the announcer lady hanging from an antenna."

Yu nodded. "Yeah, I heard about that."

"You think it was a warning or something, I mean that's way too weird to be an accident and…" Yosuke started before his eyes widened. "Oh, we're going to be late do you want a lift? The bike's a little squeaky but it should get us to school fast enough."

Yu looked at the bike before shaking his head. "I think I'll be alright, see you in class."

With that he walked past as Yosuke turned his bike around before riding towards Yasogami.

"Be quiet, you idiots!" Morooka snapped before beginning to lecture the entire class about philosophy while constantly belittling and insulting them.

I'm starting to see what Chie meant yesterday, at least we're going through this together. Yu thought as he tried to listen to the lecture.

Soon enough however the bell rang signaling the end of the day only for Yosuke to walk over with a smile.

"So, you getting used to this place?" he inquired with a grin.

"I'm starting to yeah, thanks." Yu smiled.

"Wow, that was fast." Yosuke admitted before smiling. "There isn't much to do here compared to the big city though, in fact do you want to know the local delicacy, it's grilled steak. Like that's special, but I know somewhere you can get it cheap. You want to come, you helped me out so it's on me this time."

"That sounds good to me, thanks Yosuke." Yu nodded just before Chie walked up to them.

"What about me huh? You still owe me an apology remember, my Trial of the Dragon." she mentioned.

"You always show up when I'm talking about food." Yosuke flinched.

"He should treat us too, right Yukiko?" Chie asked turning to her only for Yukiko to finish packing her bag.

"I'm ok, I don't want to gain any more weight and I need to help out at the inn today." she answered politely.

"Wow, Yukiko-san! You started training to take over the business?" Yosuke inquired.

"It's not like that! I'm just helping out when it gets busy." Yukiko explained. "Well, I should be on my way."

With that she walked out of the classroom as Chie turned to Yosuke.

"Oh well, we should get going too." she told Yosuke and Yu.

"Wait, I really have to treat two people?" Yosuke questioned before sighing in defeat.

A bit later Yu and Chie were sitting in the food court at Junes as Yosuke walked over to them with a tray of food.

"This is the cheap place you were talking about?" Chie questioned. "They don't have grilled steak here."

"Well, when you jumped on the freeloader train I had to change my plans." Yosuke pointed out.

"Still, you didn't have to take us to your place." Chie pointed out.

"Your place?" Yu inquired hearing that. "What do you mean?"

"My dad's the manager of this store, it's why we moved out here in the first place six months ago." Yosuke answered. "But that doesn't make this my place Chie."

"If you say so." Chie shrugged taking one of the drinks off the tray. "By the way, I noticed a lot of the stores in the shopping district were closing lately."

"Huh, you can't think that's just because of Junes, can you?" Yosuke asked her only to frown as the three of them noticed a girl wearing an apron sit at another table. "Oh, it's Saki-sempai."

Smiling he walked over to talk to her as Yu blinked.

"Sempai, so she's our upper classman then?" he inquired curiously.

"Yeah, her family actually owns the liquor store in the Shopping District." Chie explained. "I think she's working here part time though."

Yu nodded hearing that as he noticed Yosuke talking with Saki for a while before she looked over at him before walking over.

"Are you the transfer student? Oh, did you hear about me already?" Saki inquired.

"Only now, I just learned your name sempai." Yu answered politely.

Saki smiled at that. "It must be nice to have someone else from the big city to talk to, huh? I don't see Hana-chan hanging out with the other guys much."

"Uh- not necessarily…" Yosuke mentioned uncertainly.

"He doesn't have too many friends, so I hope you two get along." Saki continued ignoring Yosuke's comment. "Hana-chan's a good guy, but he can get nosy sometimes. You have to tell him right to his face when he starts to annoy you."

"He seems like a good guy to me." Yu pointed out.

"I was just kidding." Saki laughed before sighing. "Well, my break's just about over so back to work I go."

With that she walked off as Yosuke took his seat.

"Saki-sempai calls me annoying, but she's pretty much the same." he mentioned. "She actually has a younger brother and treats me pretty much the exact same way."

"Oh, you don't want her treating you like a brother?" Chie teased before smiling. "Well, I know something that might interest you, have either of you two heard of the Midnight Channel?"

(Yu's spending some time with Chie and Yosuke and met his sempai Saki Konishi at Junes. Next chapter Chie will explain more about the Midnight Channel and Yu will spend a bit more time playing the game with Nanako before trying the rumor for himself. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
