Chapter 17 A Mitchell's Secret.
The Underworld wasn't a place most witches or other members of the Magical Community would like to travel to. But Henry Jr had no choice but to travel down there. All he had to do was pray that his cloaking spell wouldn't fail he had been lucky the spell had been successful many times. He was down in the Underworld in the past.
The Whitelighter-Witch was certain something bad was about to happen. And nobody could tell him otherwise if the twins knew why he travels to and back from the Underworld. He would never hear the end of it, especially from Tamora.
The Mitchell orbed down into a small and private demonic home. One that was cloaked by powerful dark magic. As well as protected by powerful and ancient charms.
"Back so soon." A voice commented. The owner of the voice was hidden from the Mitchell in the shadows. Henry Junior rolled his eyes unimpressed.
"Just show yourself, I haven't got all night," Henry Junior replied.
"Someone's cranky," Enzo teased, seconds later a figure appears before Henry Junior out of nowhere. Enzo has strange runes over his face and body. And the seer is wearing, a long red cloak.
"Enzo," Henry Junior said not impressed by the demon's previous comment.
"Awh, you normally find my quips entertaining," Enzo responded.
"Yeah, but right now, I need your magic not your sense of humour," Henry Junior responded.
"Another couple of sessions of, trying to receive a premonition, I see." The demonic seer sighed.
"Cut the sighing you and I both benefit from our deal remember."
"The glamour."
"Excuse me," Henry Junior frowned.
"The glamour can mess with our ritual." Enzo reminded the Whitelighter-Witch. Henry Junior waved a hand across his face lifting his glamour and revealing almost identical runes to that of Enzo all over his face. The Whitelighter-Witch walked in front of Enzo and closed his eyes.
"Let's just get this over with." Henry Junior huffed. Enzo nodded as he placed his hands on both sides of Henry Junior's head, his hands glowed red.
Neither the demon nor Whitelighter-Witch knew how much time flew by. All that the two could hear was Henry Junior's screams of pain and discomfort.
"I still can't sense any psychic energy," Enzo shouted.
"Keep g…going," Henry Junior replied, he tried to focus solely on being ready when Enzo received a premonition. Premonitions went by fast; he couldn't afford to miss a single detail. Enzo noticed blood beginning to drip from Henry Junior's noise. Without hesitation, he broke their connection and let Henry Junior fall into his arms.
"We can try again another day," Enzo told Henry Junior gently.
"We haven't got another day, E." Henry Junior said in-between breaths.
"If we resume now, you could die. You can't stop your cousins when you're dead."
"I never told you about my cousins fighting." Henry Junior replied.
"I check in on you, every once in a while," Enzo shrugged.
