Intertwined Night
Walking through the busy streets Mistral a baby's cry could be heard in a nearby ally.
The people walking by the ally ignored the cry and proceeded to just go about with their normal lives.
Walking by the ally a tall man in black clothing heard the cries and decided to enter the allyway. Moving closer to the cries he discovered a blonde baby with a note next to it.
"To the person reading this letter I ask that you don't think of me as a terrible person to have abandoned this baby. The reason for me leaving my child is to protect them from a person that has targeted my family.
Why they have decided to target us is beyond me ,but I believe that the reason for them to target us is to slowly cripple the future of the kingdoms.
If you take in my child please let them live a peaceful life away from conflict and let them live a life that they can enjoy that is all I ask."

Reading the parting words in the letter the person saw a few dry area's on the letter that looked to have been wet. Tucking the letter into their jacket the person moved to take a look at the baby in a small box.
Looking around the inside of the box they saw a pendent and a letter that looked to have been placed next to the crying baby.
Flipping open the letter they saw a name that seemed to be chosen for the baby. Placing the letter in the box they picked up the crying baby and started to sooth them.
"Their their little child it's okay now." They said calming down the baby.
"My name is James Moriarty and I'll be taking care of you from now on." James said as the baby started to calm down and touched James's hand.
Seeing the baby reach out for his hand James chuckled and caressed the baby's cheek "I'll take good care of you Jaune." He said putting Jaune back into the box and carried him with them to his home.
A/N: This is a new story that I want to write more of in the future but want to focus more on my other story so expect slow updates.
