So that's why the quest didn't finish when I killed the boss. "ohhh…" came a soft groan from my shoulder. Ah yes I should probably deal with the medic that I just kidnapped less than 5 minutes earlier. She sounds like she's about to wake up so I didn't want to take any risk as I give her a couple of hits to the head. After confirming that she's thoroughly knocked out, I continue the trek back home for a long, well-deserved nap.
{With the Ozluminati}
Summer and Tai had just arrived at beacon after taking express bullheads there for new assignments Ozpin would have for them. Of course he could've just told them over the scrolls but certain laws that a legal huntsman contract must be made face to face with no exception. That and Ozpin also takes this chance for a meeting of his inner circle.
"What do you think the meeting is about" Tai asks Summer on the way up to Ozpin's office in the elevator.
"I don't know, I just hope that it doesn't involve any of the Maidens, the Queen is already hard enough to face with her personal minions." Summer answers just as the elevator reaches the top and they step out.
"What do you mean you FAILED!" came the angered voice of none other than general Ironwood as he smacks Ozpin's table in frustration. Ozpin himself is sitting behind said desk calmly sipping coffee with his deputy miss Goodwitch sorting through recent recordings for any possible lead on the Queen's agents.
"Calm down James, I'm sure they tried their best." Ozpin says while greeting Summer and Tai.
"Yea Jimmy, people make mistakes sometimes you can't expect them to be flawless." Tai says taking with Summer.
"You don't understand, I issued them some of the most advanced weaponry Atlas has to offer. Not to mention that there were 6 of them, how could 6 ELITE SOLDIERS lose to 4 beowolfs and an alpha?" Ironwood yells.
"Sir…The target…It could create Grimms out of thin air." The scroll was on speaker and everyone in the room heard the absurd statement. Glynda has dropped her tablet from sheer shock while Ironwood seems to undergo a mental breakdown at the power of this new "foe". Tai and Summer were just as shocked but lack any means to respond. They just thought that particular Grimm to be some sort of special case like an evolution that's neutral towards humans but now they couldn't think of any other explanations other than that the Grimm is one of the Queen's secret weapons against them.
Meanwhile, Ozpin is having an inner existential crisis of his own using every fiber of his being to resist the urge of flipping his table through the window. It was already enough bullshit when Salem can create an undefined amount of Grimms to endanger humanity now there's this prick that comes from Brothers know where who don't even need a Grimm pool to make his cruel joke of a life that much harder.
"And that's not all General sir, there are somethings even stranger than that." The soldier continues reporting.
"And what is it?" Ironwood asks seemingly has composed himself.
"Well it's about those beowolfs and how he created them sir. One seems to be permanent while the other was temporary." This has of course piqued Ozpin's interest, he ponders if it's possible for him to use the temporary way to make Grimms of his own like how the Schnee can summon their own Grimms to fight for them.
"And pray tell, what exactly were those methods soldier?" Ironwood inquires.
"So the thing had this revolver right? At first it looked like it had a 8 rounds chamber but the target shot 16 consecutive explosive shots at us and from the craters of those shots came the temporary beowolfs which would die after exactly 3 minutes. Then there's this other thing while the target waves its claws around flinging some sort of black goop from its body and that created a total of 13 beowolfs. Oh and the target seems to have also kidnapped our medic, we tried tracking her scroll but we can't pick up a signal." The soldier finishes his report.
"Is that so? You're dismissed soldier" Ironwood said as he hangs up.
"Ozpin…is this what I think it is?" Glynda asks Ozpin with uncertainty.
"I'm afraid so Glynda…we might have another magic user on the board." Ozpin solemnly states.
"So umm…is no one going to question the fact that it kidnapped someone?" Summer chimes in.
"DING" Ironwood's scroll pings as it receives a message. He looks at the source and can't help but gasp.
"Oz…this just came from the medic's scroll." Ironwood says as he shows his scroll the room.
"Did you humans think that you can hinder the Overlord's plans that easily? A new era is coming and he shall stand above all, finishing what you fools couldn't." That message alone was enough to send chills down everyone's spines. That was undoubtedly made by a Grimm, a fucking intelligent Grimm and what's worse is that if the message is true…There's something out there that is even stronger than Salem.
"James, I give you full permission to send the Atlesian air force to Patch. This threat must be stopped immediately." Ozpin says glaring at the horizon.
{With Onyx}
YOU WAKE UP FEELING WELL RESTED, HP AND AP FULLY RESTORED.
Well hopefully they bought that bait. Ozpin is giving a little too much of his attention to me and maybe that message shifted it to the "overlord" which doesn't exist, yet. Of course I'm referring to myself as the overlord as eventually I'll be powerful enough to be considered one but Ozpin doesn't need to know that when he spends resources and time going on a wild goose chase. And now with that done I can finally crush this blasted device out of frustration because in reality, that message took me 3 hours to type. Let's just say huge claws and tiny keyboard don't go well together. As for the medic, I kinda just left her tied up in a bush leaning against the tree next to the remains of the scroll after making sure the area is clear of Grimms, Ozpin should have traced the message and they'll send someone here to pick her up.
Hmm, I wonder what's Ruby up to? I may not openly admit it but I've grown quite attached to the precious little girl. Maybe Yang too but that's probably the present me speaking and I will be constantly annoyed of her the moment Tai decides to teach her of puns. If you ask me, being forced to listen to bad puns for hours on end should be considered a war crime.

Where the blood flows
Description: Time is not always stable and during each occasion when it's convoluted, a rift can open between worlds. It's up to you to make sure that no monsters make it into Remnant.
Objective:
-Investigate the rift and defeat the threat
Bonus Objective:
-?
Reward: 2500 EXP, 800 Lien, 3 Grimm essences
Bonus Reward: ?
Ah so a special quest where the safety of Remnant itself is at stake, no pressure. But that title is unsettling, because the first thing that comes to mind at the mention of blood are either vampires or fucking Yharnam. I really hope it's the first one instead.
After the event screen fades away, reality itself seems to break as cracks form out of thin air followed by the sound of glass shattering as a swirling red portal manifests itself in front of me. Well, no sense in procrastinating, time to kick some ass. Touching the anomaly, my surroundings turns into nothingness as I was grabbed into the void with my beowolfs before being abruptly shot out of the other side.
The first sound that greeted me was a loud gunshot followed by a pained roar, it's by no mean a sniper rifle but more akin to a musket as my eyes readjust. Getting off the ground I take in everything around me at the moment to find myself on top of a bridge filled with wagons.
Turning to the source of the gunshot I find a man dressed in full black attire completed with a trench coat, cape and a mask wielding an axe in one hand and a pistol in the other. His opponent was a 16m beast which is currently trying to crush him. "THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEANT WHEN I ASKED FOR ADVENTURES GOD!" I heard the man yelled out as he gets slapped into the bridge's wall. It can't be! Another Isekaied gamer? I need to get to the bottom of this, starting with killing the cleric beast.
{? Pov}
You know, if suddenly out of nowhere, your wish was granted then you would be overjoyed and thankful. Well that's what most people will feel but me? All I can feel right now is regret, pain, agony and suffering. Less than 10 hours ago I was just Barry Blue, an average shut-in college student/gamer and now? I'm stuck in one massive fucking nightmare, quite literally too as the gods flip me the bird and toss my ass into Bloodborne via truck-kun for bitching about my boring life to them.
Bloodborne alone was already torture to play it and it's a 100 times worse when you're "playing" it yourself. The cleric beast was already whooping my ass without effort, how the fuck am I supposed to fight Gehrman or the moon presence like this? As I get cornered by the cleric beast with no blood vial left, I ready myself to be resurrected at a lamp to start grinding again. The beast swings and…nothing. No pain, no blood, there was just nothing. Confused, I open my eyes to see that the cleric's beast claws were being held back by another beast in leather armor and…hoodie?

Cleric Beast

Ap – 0/0
Atk – 283
Def – 103
The beast snarls at me as I intercepted its attack meant for the hunter as I muster all my might and pushes it 10 feet back. I turn around and give the hunter a quick nod before ordering my beowolfs to attack. The cleric beast being the monster it is, recklessly charges in completely missing its swipes as the beowolfs starts ripping its legs apart.
Successful hits X16 (30x16)-103 = 377 DMG
Cleric Beast – 2449/3015
Staggered, the beast falls to its knees leaving it completely vulnerable as I charge up a dark energy beam aimed for his head. You could hear the sickening crunch and smell the pungent stench of burnt flesh as the attack cracks the beast's skull, cooking its face in the process. And to add salt to the wounds, the hunter who has now recovered, pulls out a Molotov cocktail and tosses it at the beast as well.
Successful effective hit (414x2)-103= 725 DMG
Successful effective hit (161x2)= 219 DMG
Cleric Beast – 1505/3015
The beast now realizing its errors in close-range combat, slams its hands down onto the pavement kicking up dust as it retreats away from us. It wasn't running no, instead it charges a jump attack which would have been an effective move…if I didn't have Lunar Fang.
Timing the attack just right, when the beast is high in the air exposing its belly, I fully unload Lunar Fang and for good measure, I also throw Grimm Talons at its neck.
Successful Hits x8 (148x8)-103 = 1081 DMG
Successful Hits x2 (83x2)-103= 63 DMG
Cleric Beast – 361/3015
Near fatally wounded, the beast is now crippled could barely stand up anymore. Time for the glorious exe- The hell? Just as I was about to finish it off, the hunter himself steps forth. What happens next can only be described as a Doom glory kill.
First, he grabs both of my karambits jammed in the beast's neck and rip it free before promptly slamming it back down into its eyes. The mad lad then grips its tongue as it screeches in pain and tears it off with his fucking bare hands even going as far as punching its teeth out. Without mercy, the hunter finds that one of its horn was loose and didn't hesitate at all as he rips it clean off and stabbing the horn into the throat. Finally, he pulls out his axe and after 6 slashes making blood and bone shards flying everywhere, he decapitated the cleric beast as its head rolls onto the ground eventually fading away with the remainder of its carcass.
Successful execution 361 DMG

-430 Lien

Neat. The fog gates previously blocking dissipate as I calmly walk to the exhausted hunter hunched over in fatigue. He didn't notice me until I was directly behind him, taking my karambits back as he sputters, failing to form coherent words and falls flat on his butt.
"Fellow Gamer?" I write on the ground. The hunter's eyes widen as he takes off his mask to speak.
"You're…also Isekaied?" He asks me to which I just shrug.
"Why are you here then, you don't look like you belong in Yharnam." He asks me.
"Quest, rift opens up in another world and I had to stop it, you're lucky that I bumped into you." I reply.
"Yeah, being in Bloodborne is hard as shit man, not to mention disgusting." He gestures towards his literally shit-stained boots.
"Actually, is there a chance that I could come along with you." He anxiously asks me.
I look towards where I came from to see the rift still there only It has gotten smaller and started flickering. Eh fuck it. I grab the hunter without his consent as he gives an indignant "hey" before leaping back into the rift.
{Back on Remnant}
Apparently, different worlds have different time flows as that 30 minutes in Yharnam seems to have been 6 hours on Remnant as the fractured moon shines brightly from above. The hunter in my arms start twitching as I notice that he has gotten a little green…OH SHIT!
I roughly throw him onto the ground just in time as he throws up his lunch all over the grass. What's worse is that everything is a mix between vomit and blood and HOLY CRAP IS IT PULSING? Not taking chances of being attacked by a vomit monster, I pull out Lunar Fang and double tap the mess to make sure it's not alive.
"Bleuggh! Augh, goddamnit warn me if you're going to do some crazy sh-" The hunter cuts himself off as he sees the broken moon amidst the starry night sky. He glances at the beowolfs then me and the moon again and again before…
"HOLY SHIT IS THIS RWBY!" Sweet Jesus my ears are ringing from the sheer volume of that shout. I nod to hear him picking my ears to make sure I'm not deaf. The hunter then appears to have frozen in place. 3 minutes pass and I have to slap him slightly to see if he is even conscious anymore.
"Ow what the?" He mutters dazed as he starts gathering his thoughts before he starts fanboying on the spot much like how Ruby does with weapons. After he has calmed down somewhat I start writing on the ground again. "You watch RWBY?"
"Of course, the damn show's brilliant! But *frowns* I only had time to finish volume 1 before you know…" Oh good thing too, he doesn't have to go through severe depression and undergo multiple mental breakdowns witnessing Pyrrha's death like the rest of us RWBY fans.
"Well now that I'm here and all, I suppose we should team up right, so how about it?" He asks.
I naturally agree as a physical game window manifests itself in front of each of us. My window asks me to decide on a party name and the hunter's asks if he wants to be part of my party. I gave it some thoughts before typing in my answer.
Party name confirmed: Crimson Crusaders
Barry Blue has joined Crimson Crusaders.
Party members may chat between themselves via telepathy if they're within a medium distance of each other or text chat if they're out of reach of said distance.

"Telepathy? Barry can you hear me?" I asks him through the link.
"Holy fuck! Wait is that you? Yes I can hear you umm… you didn't really give me your name and how did you know mine?" He asks back.
"Ah well when I got isekaied I was made a Grimm as you can see but it also came with The System and that's the window you just saw. *pulls up party window* And I know your name through this. Oh and I'm Onyx, no last name." I answer Barry.
"You're shitting me, THE SYSTEM? Wait if I'm part of this party thing do I have part of the system as well?" He inquires.
"I don't have an answer for that, try saying "shop" or something." I suggest.
"Uh Shop, inventory, map…stats?" At Barry's words, his own stats sheet show up.

"Well it's not great but it's not bad either." I say trying to be optimistic.
"Just be blunt with me here, how weak am i?" Barry says dejectedly.
"You'd lose against an amateur aura user until you unlock your own aura and even then your stats are still lower than theirs. Your saving grace is a rather decent Dex and absurdly high luck which I frankly don't know what it'll do. So all in all, you're pretty much Jaune before any training compared to the current enemies." And just like that Barry is now burning with depression like an Australian bushfire.
"Look on the bright side though, you have me and the System, I'm sure we can whip you into shape in no time." I comfort Barry.
"Yeah you're right, in fact, let's start training right no-*growl*" Barry was cut off by his own stomach sounding off like an air raid siren.
"hehe, do you happen to have anything to eat?" Barry sheepishly asks.
"Eh, I'll make you a meal back at the cabin." I say, beginning to return home.
"You have a cabin?"Barry asks, following me.
"Yea, what do you think I live in the wilds like some sort of caveman?" I ask him back.
"Well it's just that I'm still adjusting to your looks." Barry answers nearly tripping over a branch.
"Fair enough…oh and you haven't seen the best thing this world has to offer pal." I tease Barry.
"Ooh what is it" Barry asks excitedly.
"Not what Barry, it's who." I chuckle at Barry's confusion as we chats with one another for the rest of the trip back home. I'm going to need all the allies I can get if I truly want to save everyone.
Author's notes: Bet you didn't see that coming did you? Now the reason why I am putting in more OCs is for the Beacon arc. Onyx needs his own team in order to avoid suspicion every time he needs to be away doing quests or acting as the overlord and what better teammates than those in the same predicaments as him? That said though, one of them is going to meet with Onyx after he finish the next continent after Patch and the final one will be after Onyx finishing the continent after that.
