She saw her father running. Strange people ran into the house. Malfoy Manor, her home. Her parent's voices rang out.

"Draco Go!"

"Artemis-"

"I'll be okay…just go!"

She hid in a closet her sister cuddled close to her chest.

Colors of red and green flew outside of the closet. Voices rang out.

"Harry, if you're going to kill me just do it,"

Her mother's scream pierced the night.

"Artemis…. I…I love you."

It wasn't her father's voice.

"Dean…. Dean how could you?'

"Harry she was a wanted death eater."

"But I loved her, you could have given her a fair trial."

Kirsten's heart skipped a beat.

I'm frightened by what I see
But somehow I know

"Search the house. She had children."

Kirsten held her breath. She tried to calm Malladora.

"Mally, shhh…. they're gonna find us, they're gonna hurt us."

Kirsten felt tears sting her eyes.

"Oh god, don't let them find us. Don't let them hurt us."

Chorus

When the house was silent, she came out of her hiding place.

She walked around and found her mother's body lying on the floor.

"Mommy." She whispered, "Mommy I love you."

Fallen angels at my feet
Whispered voices at my ear
Death before my eyes
Lying next to me I fear
She beckons me

Upon my end shall I begin
Forsaking all I've fallen for
I rise to meet the end

She lay beside her mother's lifeless body. She cried herself to sleep.

The Next Morning

Sun hit the floor near her body.

"Mally don't cry, it's okay. I have to be mommy for now."

"Kirsten." A woman's voice said behind her.

"Nanna?" she said, turning to see her grandmother

Narcissa picked up her granddaughter.

"Mommy's gone." She cried, "Mommy's gone."

"Shh…honey I know. It'll be okay."

Lucius entered the room, picking up Malladora.

"Papa…mommy's gone…she's gone"

They turned and left the house.

"Goodbye Mommy…I Love You"

Kirsten's whisper, "I Love you" three powerful words. She showed that even in death, her mother's beauty remained. This would not be the last time she would see her mother. That night was not the last time she would see Isis Elektra Malladora Artemis Black…. alive. Her mother would return.
