Hello Everyone, I know I'm late on the KevEdd fanfic but I've recently seen it kind of being revived in some media. So what the heck I guess I'll throw my story out there for those who read it still. Lots of love!
The Ginger and Dream Girl:
Chapter 1: The Road To Reality
Slowly Dee walked into the doctor's office, they had finally got their blood work done and health check in order to proceed with this visit. Edd calmly went up to the receptionist smiled and signed in. Edd took a seat next to a very tall, statues blonde who was painting her nails waiting her turn.
"Is this your first time here ?" She asked blowing her nails dry smiling at them.
Dee gave her a sheepish smile "i..it is actually, I'm pretty nervous," they said fighting there hands together out of nervousness
"Don't worry Dr. Helene is very good at what she does, I mean look at me," she said standing up posing like a fashion model in the magazines Edd read in secret.
Dee smiled "she has done wonders on you, I just..I just hope I can be the best I can be," they said adjusting their hat. Edd had been wanting to do this for a while, but never had the heart to fully go through with it.
They had finally discussed with their parents. Dee's mother cried, not because of angry but because she never knew how much her child was hurting. Dee's father on the other hand couldn't understand, he loved his child but needed time in order to take it all in. Dee came out to them as not their son, but as their daughter and wanting to fully start the transition into the woman they have always wanted to be.
"Whatever you need tell me so we can get you started on your path," her mother said drying her tears as she kissed her child on the head.
"Mother I have taken the measurements and I have a doctors appointment with the endocrinologists in two days," Dee said slowly smiling at her mother, her eyes glossy from the love her mother has given her.
"Dear you know your always my baby, even after you see the doctor, I can always check your levels and make sure the process is going along wonderfully," she said hugging her child.
"I know I only have one last year of high school but I can no longer wait," Dee said strongly though she was scared of how the others would treat her. "I know people don't and won't understand, but they've never understood me." Dee's eyes watered "I'm going to do what needs to be done for me, and for who I am," she said holding her mother's hand.
As Dee remembered what went on the two days before she snapped back into reality. The blonde girl slowly stand as her name was called. "I wish you so much luck, I hope to see you again, I'm Holly," she said smiling as she walked away. Dee smiled "I'm Deena Lynn, but you can call me Dee."
Minutes felt like hours, but after ten minutes she was finally called in.
"Deena," a older kind eyed woman called as she smiled "the doctor is ready for you girly," she said holding the door open for Dee.
Dee got weighted and her blood pressure taken and was taken into a room that smelled of lavender and lilies. She felt so relaxed with the calming smell. After a few minutes Dr. Holly walked in.
"Deena it's so good to finally meet you," she said hugging her and shaking her hand. "The nurse weren't lying when they said you had the most ocean blue eyes they have ever seen."
Dee blushed with the complement, since she wasn't use to them.
"Thank you, Doctor," Dee said nervously
"Please call me Holly," she said sitting in the seat across from Dee.
"Now let's get to business, your wanting hormone replacement therapy (HRT) correct," She asked still smiling and writing on her clip board.
"Yes Holly, I'm ready mentally and emotionally for this to finally happen," Dee said smiling at the brunette woman who looked almost like an old Hollywood star.
"Your testosterone is very low, which is great meaning you won't need to be on a heavy dosage of blockers, as for your estrogen it is higher but not where we want it," she circled the numbers to show her.
"I'm thinking of a remedy of one hindered milligrams of blocker, and 8 milligrams of estrogen in pill form," Dee's eye widen into what she was explaining.
"Your features are feminine, and your health is very good. We can start you today if you are ready to go," she said giving a thumbs up.
Dee's eyes watered as she carefully dried her eyes avoiding to scratch herself with her long painted nails. "That would be wonderful," she said sobbing of the happy news.
"Now remember these hormones are strong so try to remember it's okay to get emotional, and if you ever need someone to talk to I'm always here." She said rubbing Dee's back.
Dee shock her head and smiled "I'm ready Holly, I'm ready to be myself." She said laughing of how much she has cried these past few days.
After an hour at the pharmacy and a thirty minutes bus ride she finally got home. She opened the pills and took the four green pills and one orange pill in her hand.
"This is it Dee, the road to your new life starts now," she drank them down slowly and smiled.
"I have two weeks before school starts again, I have enough time to finally get myself ready," she said smiling at her reflection.
I'm sorry if this seemed rushed, please leave reviews and please don't be to harsh I know it's suppose to be a KevEdd fanfic, but I though of actually writing Dee as a trans individual from a trans individual prospective. I hope I didn't offend to hurt anyones feeling if I did I truly apologize. Lots of love and please leave reviews.
