Summary: A Darkus bakugan was send to Tokyo rather back to Vestroia with the other bakugan where he meets Mimete and team up to catch pure hearts. Can the Sailor Scouts defeat this new foe or will the Battle Brawlers have to step up to help them out?

Lita was staring at the night sky when she heard the door slide open. She turned around and smiled, "Alice, you should be asleep."
Alice shook her head and walked next to Lita, "Don't worry about me. What about you?"
"What do you mean?" Lita asked.
"You're kind of pushing yourself too much," said Alice in concern. "Did the last fight with the heart snatcher hurt your pride?"
Lita looked down, "…not my pride. I feel…I'm not strong enough to protect the people I care about."
"Well, it's not about being strong," Alice smiled, "When Dan and Drago had to fight Naga, they needed our help to beat that creep. It was our combine strength and bond that we were able to stop him of taking over Vestroia and our dimension."
Lita thought for a moment before smiling, "You're right, thanks Alice." That's when she remembered something, "If Hydra is your partner, then why was this Masquerade person using him instead of you?"
"Oh, um, well, you see…Masquerade was me," replied Alice, softly.
"Huh?" said Lita, confused.
Alice began to explain to Lita about her grandfather's disappearance, how Masquerade was created and being Naga's top brawler. "In the end, he turned out to be good and helped us defeat Naga."
"That must've been tough to deal with," Lita then smiled, "So, all you have to do is bond with Hydra so you would be able to transform."
"That's what Dan and Shun told me," said Alice. "We've been mostly brawling since we came here, but there're times they would show me a couple of fighting moves."
"You guys really look out for each other, don't you?" said Lita.
Alice nodded, "We do and if one of us is in danger, then we wouldn't hesitate to save them."
Lita smiled, "Come on, let's go get some sleep. In the morning, I can show you a few moves. I'll let Runo rest tomorrow."
Alice nodded and the two went back to bed.
In the morning, Serena and the girls were awoken up by some kind of commotion outside. They slide the door open to see it was Lita with Alice and the two were doing a few fighting stands.
"Um…I don't think we should interrupt them," whispered Runo.
"Good point," said Amy, softly. They closed the sliding door and start dressing.
Mina, surprisingly finished, walked out and knocked the boy's room. She slides the door open to see Marucho reading a book while Preyas was on his head. "Morning, where's Dan and Shun?" she asked.
"They left early for their morning jog," replied Marucho. He looked up, "Though they'll be going back to the hotel to help Darien."
Serena popped her head by Mina's left side, "They left without eating breakfast?!"
Marucho laughed, "Oh no. Dan and Shun will eat at the hotel."
Raye walked into the room, "Well, come on, breakfast is about to be served."
"Alright, I'm starving," said Julie, happily.
The girls and Marucho walked into a small diner room and took their seats, but the moment they got their food, Julie and Serena were disappointed.
"Hey, where's the great spa food?" whined Serena, staring at the food she was given. She pouted, "You mean this is all we get? How am I going to survive on this?"
"This isn't breakfast! This is just a snack!" Julie complained.
"You know eating too much Serena can give you a dull brain and a fat head," said Amy.
"So, you can work on sharpening that brain of yours while you're here Serena," said Raye.
"Not to mention the calories Julie," said Runo. "I hear if you don't maintain how much you eat, you can become fat."
"Not only that, but you can get serious health issues when you're older if you don't watch what you eat," said Marucho.
"My brain is sharp…I just want yummy food!" whined Serena as Julie nodded.
Raye sighed, "Does Dan eat as much as Serena, Runo?"
"Sort of," replied Runo. "Sure, he eats a lot, but with all that jogging and training he does, he's in top shape along with Shun."
"I see…Serena maybe you should follow Dan's example," said Raye, but received a tongue from her leader.
"Oh, enough of that Serena," scolded Luna. "Lita will be training Alice today."
"That means you'll get your break, Runo," said Artemis.
"Yes! Finally!" shouted Runo, happily. "I say let's go to that hotel where Dan and Shun went to as I'm a bit curious how it looks like."
Serena and Julie agreed while the others sighed, dramatically.
"Ok, ok let's go to the hotel," said Raye.
"What should we do with the food?" Amy asked as she looked down. "We can't just leave it here uneaten? It would be rude, don't you think?"
"Who said we wouldn't eat it?" said Serena before she and Julie started eating their breakfast…rather quickly.
"Now all what we need is," Mina took out her black and white swimsuit from her bag, "Ta-da!"
"Prepare for anything, aren't we," said Luna in disbelief.
"She's not the only one," said Julie, taking out her pink swimsuit.
"So am I," said Raye with her red swimsuit.
"Oh, I brought mine too," said Serena with her green and sunflower design swimsuit.
"So did I," said Runo as she had her white and blue swimsuit.
"I guess Amy and Marucho are the only ones that came here to help out," said Luna.
"I've always knew she was different from the others," said Artemis. "And Marucho is like a splitting image of Amy."
That's when Amy and Marucho blushed.
"Actually, we're not," said Amy as both took out their swimming wear. Amy's was red with white dots while Marucho's was a blue swim trunks.
Luna and Artemis sighed, dropping their heads down, dramatically.
"I'll never fully understand humans," said Tigrerra as the others nodded except Preyas, who was jumping up and down happily.
Meanwhile at the hotel, Dan was currently cleaning a table and Shun was carrying a few dirty plates back to the kitchen while Darien was taken orders. The brunette was about to clean another table when he spotted Serena and the others walk in.
Dan waved, "Hey guys, what brings you here?"
"Taking my long waited break," replied Runo before blushing. "Do…Do you really need to wear that waiters uniform?"
Dan nodded before getting tackled by Julie. She squealed, happily, "Oh Danny, you look absolutely adorable!"
"Julie! Back off!" snapped Runo, but bit her lower lip, 'Though she is right. He sure looks cute in that uniform.'
"Come on guys, not here," murmured Marucho.
"He's right you two. Besides, kind of busy right now," said Dan before making a face. "Not only that, my shoulder still feels a bit sore from yesterday."
Julie and Runo looked down with guilt.
"Hey Dan, can you – oh! Hey Serena, what are you doing here?" Darien asked as he was carrying a mountain of plates on both hands.
"Oh, we're visiting Lita, Runo and Alice," replied Serena. "Lita mention about this hotel that we've had to see. So, while Lita and Alice trains, we came down to take a peek of this place."
"At least she's telling a bit of the truth," murmured Raye.
"Come on Darien, let's do something fun together," said Serena, happily.
Darien smiled, sadly, "I would love too, but I can't. It's just way too busy. In fact, I'm surprised nobody's called me for help."
"Hey Darien, can you come over here for a second?"
"Spoke too soon – coming! Dan, can you clear table #6 for me," said Darien.
"Sure, leave it to me," said Dan before going over at the other side of the pool.
"Sorry Serena, maybe another time," said Darien before going to the waiter who called him.
Serena sighed, sadly before taking a sit by a nearby table. She sighed, disappointedly, "What a bomber. Now, what do I do?"
That's when the girls noticed a few good-looking males talking among themselves.
Marucho looked around the table before sighing, "I just realize something…I'm the only guy in the group right now."
"Ah, don't be like that Marucho," winked Runo.
She and the girls were trying to look impressive for the males. Suddenly, the male's attention turned to the buffet food that currently got opened and headed over there instead. Serena and the girls were not pleased.
"Men! I hate them!" snapped Runo as Raye agreed.
That's when Serena spotted two familiar people, sunbathing nearby the pool. "Hey, it's Amara and Michelle!" She walked over to them, "Hi, guys!"
Amara took off her sunglasses, "Hey moon-face, we didn't know you'll be here."
"Why are you guys doing here?" Michelle asked.
"Lita is training Runo and Alice in this dojo not too far from here," replied Mina.
"Training?" said Michelle. "And all of you came all the way up here to see her?"
"Absolutely, that's the only reason," said Serena as the others nodded.
That's when Amara noticed three unfamiliar faces. "And who are they?"
"Oh, right," Mina smiled, "This is Julie. She's a distant relative of mine that came to visit."
"Hiya, pleasure to meet you two," greeted Julie.
"This is Runo, she's a cousin that came to visit as well," said Raye then winked, "She's taking a breather from training."
"Hey there," said Runo.
"And this is Marucho, also my cousin," said Amy. "My relatives send him cause they'll be traveling this year and I wouldn't be alone while my mother works all day."
"Greetings," said Marucho.
"Well, pleasure to meet you all then," said Michelle. "By the way Serena, where's Dan?"
"He's helping Darien with his job as you can see it's pretty packed," replied Serena.
Amara scanned around the pool before spotting the brunette cleaning a table. "Does that mean Shun is here as well?"
"He sure is," replied Serena.
"Well, we best be going," said Amy. "Lita and Alice should be done training right about now."
"And whose Alice?" Michelle asked.
"She's Lita's distant relative," said Mina. "Alice's parents thought it would be nice if Lita had someone living with her for awhile…from her mother's side."
"I see," murmured Amara.
"Well, you guys can go right ahead. I'm…going to stay here," said Serena.
"I've should have known," murmured Raye before placing her hands on her hips. "You're coming Serena and besides, Darien is far too busy."
Serena turned around to face Raye to jump on her, but she stepped aside, causing Serena to fall into the pool. While Mina and Amy helped Serena out of the pool, Michelle and Amara could feel something was about to happen and it wasn't good.
Just before leaving, Darien let Dan and Shun return with the girls while he continued with his work. When they got to the entrance, they split up into teams to see if they can find Lita and Alice.
Currently, Dan and Serena were walking in a path that Dan would use for his morning jogs.
Dan was looking around before noticing that Serena was lacking behind. He sighed, "Come on Serena, try to keep up."
Drago jumped out from Dan's pocket, "Best if you slow down, Daniel. I don't think Serena is use to walk long distance."
Dan titled his head, "Then, how can she fight?"
Serena gave out a sheepish laugh, "Um, well you see, I'm not much of a fighter as you saw for yourself," she rubbed the back of her head, "I just destroy the enemy once they're weakened by my friends."
Dan was about to say something when an all too familiar car drove right by them. He turned to Serena, "Was that…"
"I believe so – let's go Dan!" said Serena. Dan nodded and the two ran after the white car.
Meanwhile, Lita and Alice were mediating with Kakkasui when suddenly they heard snoring to their left. It was the trainer himself, who was snoozing away.
"Is he…sleeping?" Alice asked.
"I…guess so," whispered Lita.
That's when Kakkasui started to wake up. He gave out a silly grin, "Well now, I guess I was dosing off again."
"Do you usually take a nap during training?" Lita asked.
"Only when I'm sleepy," said Kakkasui. "It's a good idea to relax, both mind and body sometimes…poor excuses, is it?"
"No, not at all," said Alice while Lita nodded.
That's when they heard something to their right. They turned around to see a white car pull up and Eugeal taking out her gun. "Bulls eye."
As she fired, Lita quickly grabbed Alice before Kakkasui pushed them out of the way.
"No, Kakkasui!" shouted Lita.
"G-Go! Get out of here," said Kakkasui before dropping to the ground.
Lita took Alice to a nearby bush before transforming into Sailor Jupiter. "Stay here Alice," she said before dashing forward to fight.
Alice sighed, sadly before hearing someone coming. She looked around and spotted Dan in his warrior outfit. "Dan! You got to help Lita!"
"I will, but I came here to give you this," said Dan, handing Hydra to her.
"But…I can't transform yet," said Alice, sadly.
Dan smiled, "You never know. You've been bonding with Hydra since we've got here."
Alice thought for a moment before taking out the transform ability card. She took a deep breath, "Alright, here goes…Ability card, power of Darkus bakugan – transform!"
Meanwhile, Jupiter with Moon and the others, who joined in the fight were dodging the attacks of Daruma, the new heart snatcher. Runo stayed behind with Luna and Artemis.
"I can't wait until I can transform so I can give those heart snatchers a thing or two," snapped Runo. She looked around before frowning, "Where's Dan? Shouldn't he be fighting?"
"He went to find Alice," replied Luna. "Lita said she left her not too far from here before she and Serena went to fight with the heart snatcher."
"Before looking for Alice, Dan contacted you guys about the fight," said Artemis.
"I see…I hope Alice is alright," murmured Runo. She glazed over to the fight, "Looks like they're handling that creepy doll enemy okay."
The cats nodded as they watched Subterra tossed what looked like Gorem's hammer at Daruma. It knocked the paint brush from the enemy, but Daruma attacked them with the plates that formed from her waist.
"Or maybe not," murmured Runo.
While the scouts were fighting the heart snatcher, Eugeal was about to get Kakkasui's pure heart when Neptune and Uranus got it first.
"Not you two again," said Eugeal.
"Sorry to burst your bubble," said Uranus.
Neptune looked over at the pure heart before shaking her head. She giggled, "But, it would seem that you got it wrong once again."
Eugeal gritted her teeth before dashing back to her car and escaped once again.
"I have a feeling she went back to change her pants," said Uranus before giving Kakkasui's heart back.
Neptune looked over at Jupiter, "Do you require some help?"
Jupiter shook her head, "Thanks for the offer this time, but I think we can take it from here."
"Suite yourself, but take care all of you," said Neptune before the two outer scouts disappeared from the scene.
"Why did you turn down their help?" Ventus asked.
Jupiter smiled, "Because…I feel someone will be able to help."
Shun widened his eyes before smiling.
"Paint brush!" shouted Daruma as she got hold of her weapon and aimed at them. Suddenly, black rays came down at her, stunning the heart snatcher and dropped the brush again.
"What in the world – ah! No way!" said Subterra as she looked up.
On top of the tree was Pyrus and – Darkus?!
She was wearing a sleeveless black dress with purple trimmings. Around her neck there was an extended point collar and on the middle of her chest was the Darkus symbol. On her left arm, there was a long dark purple glove with a small purple diamond and around her waist was a purple belt with a square belt buckle with suspender-like straps on his waist with gray buckles. She had long purple boots with dark purple lining and has long black stocking with purple trimmings. She had a long black staff with the Darkus symbol as the tip and her orange hair had purple highlights.
"Nice hit," praised Pyrus. He grabbed her hand, and both jumped off from the tree, "Sorry if we're late."
"Na, you came in the perfect time," said Ventus.
"Great, shall we?" said Pyrus, looking at Darkus. She nodded before the two of them combine their attacks, "Burning Dragon! Chaos Leap Sting!"
Large flames came out from Pyrus' hand while Darkus' dark energy surround it.
"You're not alone – Sparkling Wide Pressure!" said Jupiter, combing her attack as well.
With Jupiter's attack, the flames were surround by dark energy and electricity. The heart snatcher tried to counter it, but she wasn't fast or strong enough. The combine attacks hit Daruma and destroyed her, returning to her original state.
Julie ran up to Alice, hugging her dearly, "Oh Alice, you look absolutely beautiful in that outfit!"
Alice blushed before sensing an uneasy aura nearby. She turned around to see a furious Runo, "Um, Runo…"
"HOW COME SHE CAN TRANSFORM BUT NOT ME?!" snapped Runo.
Dan and Shun sighed, shaking their heads.
"How many times do we have to say that you need to reconnect with Tigrerra?" said Dan, slightly angry.
"Ok, ok…sorry," murmured Runo, slightly surprised to hear Dan angry.
"Well, looks like we have to start training Runo," said Shun as Dan nodded.
"If you guys are going to start training her," Lita looked over at Alice, "Do you want to learn a few more pointers about fighting?"
"Oh, yes, thank you," said Alice then looked at Runo, "Good luck, you're going to need it."
"What do you mean?" Runo asked.
"You'll see what I mean," murmured Alice. Runo was confused but didn't have time to say anything when Dan and Shun dragged her away.
"Was training with Dan and Shun that bad?" Serena asked.
"Mm…in some way," Alice sighed, "They sort of team up on me. I had to fight them both until I was able to fully understand Hydra and all."
"No wonder they started with you then," said Lita.
Serena and the others were confused.
"Shun suggested that I would teach them about fighting while they help them rebuild their connection with their partners," explained Lita. "And since Alice only needed to form a bond with Hydra, they started with her first."
"Oh!" said everyone.
Serena and the others transformed back and were about to head back when Marucho looked over to Kakkasui, who was still unconscious. He pointed to his direction, "Um, what should we do with him?"
Lita waved her hand, "Alice and I will take care of it. You guys head back to the dojo."
Everyone nodded before hearing a familiar scream.
Alice sighed, "I guess Runo found out that she has to brawl the boys at the same time."
Julie and Marucho felt bad for Runo while the scouts were confused before remembering how Dan brawls. The scouts shivered a bit before heading back to the dojo.
Two days later, the gang were at the train heading back home. Serena, Lita, Julie and Dan were stuffing their faces with the train food.
"So, how was the training, guys?" Raye asked.
Dan pulled out his spoon, "Not bad. Drago and Skyress believe that Runo needs just a bit more training," before taking another bite, "Man, this train food is the best!"
"Like that's what me and Serena said," said Julie, happily.
"I have to agree as well," said Lita.
"Runo, you're not hungry?" Alice asked.
Runo was lying down on the seat with a wet cloth on her forehead. "No, I'm fine – geez you two! Why did you two have to team up against me like that?!"
"What?! Don't pin this one on us!" Dan slightly glared at her, "Who was the one that stopped brawling just because she was afraid to lose?"
Runo pulled the cloth off from her forehead and glared at Dan, "Okay so what if I was afraid losing Tigrerra to the Doom Dimension!" She then lowered her head, "I had to stop! If not…if not…"
Shun sighed, "We understand. We were worried about that too, but when you stopped brawling, you lost that special bond with Tigrerra," he then crossed his arms, "Not only that, but you were overconfident and didn't listen to Tigrerra's suggestions when you brawled."
"What do you mean?" Runo asked, softly.
Serena and the girls were lost on what they were talking about.
Dan saw their confusion, "We'll explain to you guys later." He then turned around to the window and spotted someone. "Hey Lita, look! It's Kakkasui!"
Everyone looked out and saw Kakkasui waving them farewell.
Lita smiled, "Goodbye, Kakkasui. And thank you."
