Summary: A Darkus bakugan was send to Tokyo rather back to Vestroia with the other bakugan where he meets Mimete and team up to catch pure hearts. Can the Sailor Scouts defeat this new foe or will the Battle Brawlers have to step up to help them out?

Runo looked down at the Haos transformation card, nervously. The brawl against Rini got pretty intense since Runo finally started listening to Tigrerra. Though Runo had to admit, Rini did pretty well in her first brawl.
'Please let me transform,' thought Runo before activating her card. "Ability card, power of Haos bakugan – transform!"
Runo was surrounded by a bright light and slowly her clothes transformed. She was wearing an off-the-shoulder mini light blue dress with yellow trimmings and around the middle was gray. Over her shoulder and around her waist were two white belts with two yellow clasps and was wearing long gray fingerless arm gloves with a white belt and a yellow clasp on each arm though on her left, there was a dark blue crystal. Her blue hair had light gray highlight while her pigtails were held up with a yellow hairband and wearing light blue boots with a little heel and a small yellow trimming. Around her neck was a gray choker with the Haos attribute on it.
"Alright, you did it girl!" shouted Julie, happily before giving her a huge hug. She then winked at her, "Not to mention, you look super cute in that outfit."
"I agree with Julie," said Alice, walking over to them and smiled, "I'm happy that you regain your bond with Tigrerra."
Runo blushed, "Well, thanks to Dan, Shun and Rini who helped me…mostly Dan," she sighed, "…without you guys, I wouldn't have regained my bond with my Tigrerra."
Dan grinned, "What are friends are for?"
Runo smiled with a slight blush on her cheeks. Rini noticed, but stayed silent.
"Well, since Runo is up to par with us now, she needs to learn the basics of fighting," said Shun as he took out his transformation card. He looked at the brunette, "Take a break Dan, I'll train Runo."
"Thanks man," said Dan, rubbing his shoulders. "I might take a cat nap for a bit. A little sore."
Shun nodded before transforming into his ventus outfit while Julie ran over to Dan and grabbed hold of his arm.
"Oh, let me join you Danny! Or maybe give you a massage…"
"Julie! Get your hands off of Dan!" snapped Runo. Unknowingly, she summoned a white staff with the Haos sign on it and started to spark.
Julie freaked out, quickly let go of Dan and hid behind Alice. She leaned out from Alice's right, "Easy there girl, I was only joking! You know that!"
"Huh?" Runo looked down at her hand to see a white staff. She blinked with confusion, "How…did I…"
"I'm not sure, but at least we know you can summon a weapon," said Shun, summoning his own set of small knives. "Now, let's see what you can do. Let's start off with offensive!"
Rini and the others watched from a safe distance to see Runo trying to attack Shun, but the skilled ninja was able to dodge all of her attacks. The pink hair girl turned her head over to Dan who was lying on the porch with his eyes closed. She tapped his shoulder lightly, causing him to open one of his eyes.
"You know, I'm glad that you trained me Dan. I don't think I would be able to handle Shun's training at all," said Rini.
Dan laughed a bit, "Yea, Shun is in a whole different level. I'm barely close to his which I hate to admit it. He can best me since he started training when he was really young."
"Oh," said Rini before taking out her English book. "Do…Do you think you can help me with my homework?"
Dan sat up, scratching his cheek with a slight frown. "Um…Literature wasn't my best subject…but…um, I guess I can give it a try."
Rini smiled before taking out her notebook and opened the book to the questions she needs to answer. Dan took note that he read this story before so he was able to help Rini for a bit before asking Marucho for extra help.
Just as sunset came to, everyone was exhausted and relaxing on the porch when Serena and the girls came back.
"So, how was your day?" Raye asked.
"Trying," replied Runo before grinning. "But at least I can finally transform."
"Really? That's fantastic Runo!" praised Amy.
"Alright, you go girl!" said Mina.
The others nodded as Serena spotted the pink hair child. Serena lifted her eyebrow, "Rini, what are you doing here?"
"Unlike you, Dan was training me," replied Rini, sticking her tongue out.
Serena gritted her teeth before sticking her tongue back at her. Everyone had a sweatdrop as they watch mother and future daughter play tongue war at each other.
"So, how's the high school? Does it look good?" Dan asked.
"It was amazing! Everything about that place is what I thought it would be," said Lita.
Raye sighed, "If only I can go there as well, but no my grandfather had to sign me up in that only girl school across town."
"Tell me about it," murmured Runo.
"But, that's not all what happen," aid Mina.
Shun frowned, "What you mean?"
Serena and the girls explained to the brawlers to what happened at the high school. It took about an hour to finish and the brawlers were shocked.
"Aw man! There was a fight and I didn't get to kick butt! Bumper," said Julie, disappointedly.
"Oh don't you worry, Julie. You'll get your chance," said Mina.
Raye made a face, "You say that in a good way – which is not!"
"Well, it's time for us to head out. I need to drop off Shun at Darien's," said Serena before getting up. "Let's go guys."
The two boys and Rini nodded.
The four of them waved good bye to their friends before leaving the shrine, dropping off Shun at Darien's and going back home.
"Just in time for dinner you three!" said Ikuko, happily.
"So, how was your day?" Kenji asked.
"Fine," replied the three.
"Hey cous, do you want to see this cool movie with me after dinner?" Shingo asked. "A friend of mine let me borrow it for a while."
"Um sure, Shingo," replied Dan.
-Three days later-
"There you go Rini. Just leave it to cool down and it should be ready in no time," said Alice.
"Oh, thank you so much Alice!" said Rini, happily.
"So, who's the special someone you're giving this pie to?" wondered Alice.
Rini blushed a bit, "Well…not too long ago, my class went to this art class and um well…I sort of meet this boy…"
"Aw that's so sweet!" said Alice before winking. "Well, I hope this pie will help you grab his attention Rini."
"Oh, I know it will!" said Rini, happily before seeing Dan coming down. "Hey Dan, how's the study session with your friends?"
"Alright, but we're taking a break so I came down to see if there's any snacks," replied the brunette.
"Well, I did make another pie, but give it a few more seconds," said Alice. "Has Marucho finished looking through my math homework?"
"Sweet! And yea, he just finished it, but you need to check on problems four and eight as you got them wrong," said Dan.
Alice nodded, taking off the apron, "I better go and fix them then. Dan, would you take the pie out? The left one is ours."
"Sure," said Dan as Alice handed him the mittens. He took out the pie carefully before placing it on the table and closed the oven again. Dan then picked up the pie again, "Want to come along Rini while you wait for yours."
"Oh, I love too! Thanks Dan!" said Rini, following the brunette to the attic.
Unknown to them, Serena came down looking for some sweets to eat as well. When she couldn't find anything, she sighs disappointedly, but just as she was about to head upstairs, she spots the pie in the oven. Serena smiled happily, believing her mother made the pie before she left. She took it out and headed to her room to share it with her friends.
"Alright everybody, let's chow down!" said Serena, happily.
Luna gasped, "Where did that come from Serena?"
Artemis looked worried, "It looks…you didn't make it, did you?"
"No way. I found it in the oven," replied Serena as she was cutting the pie. "I'm sure my mom made it for me as I've been asking for bake stuff for a while."
"Well, glad to know that your mom made it, then we know it's safe," said Raye.
"Right, last thing we need is to come down with food poisoning before the big exam," said Amy while Mina nodded her head.
"Hey, what is that supposed to mean?" asked Serena, giving them an annoyed look.
"Oh, nothing at all," said Lita, passing around the pie pieces that Serena cut already.
As the teens were enjoying the pie, Mina commented that Serena's mother used real apples instead. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and came in was Rini and Dan.
"Hey Serena, do you know what happened to the pie that was in the oven?" asked Rini. The teens froze in shock on what they heard. It was Rini's pie that they were eating.
Dan slapped his forehead, "Oh boy…"
"That was my apple pie that Alice helped me bake," said Rini, sadly.
"Sorry Rini, we didn't know," said Lita, honestly.
"We only taken a few bites of it," said Amy, sadly.
"Now, what am I going to do Serena?" Rini whined, angrily.
"Oh Serena, you should've asked who it was first?" scolded Mina a bit.
"There will be justice," said Raye. "On the behalf of the planet Mars, I shall punish you Serena for stealing a pie!" She flicked Serena's forehead, causing her to fall backwards.
"Ouch! Mm…blame my sweet tooth," murmured Serena.
Dan laughed a bit, "I know that feeling."
"Well, I'm blaming your big hair! I made it for Masanori!" snapped Rini.
Serena quickly got up and looked at Rini, "Wha? Who is this…Masanori, Rini?"
Rini blushed, "Um, well…it's not really important…um, he's just um – come on Dan! You promised me you'll take me to my school!"
"Hey – wait Rini! Don't pull my arm like – ah!"
Rini dragged Dan out from Serena's room, but before she closed the door, Rini leaned to Serena's right. "I wouldn't forget what you did!"
Serena flinched as the door slammed closed.
"Where is she going?" Amy asked.
"She's going to this art class over at the school. She wanted to learn how to make a sculpture," replied Serena. "It's part of her training to be…well rounded."
"Sounds like she found a friend in her art class," said Lita.
"Seems to me that this Masanori is very special to Rini then just being a friend," said Luna then frowned. "She went through all that trouble just to make that pie with Alice's help and it's ruined."
"Yea, you're right, Luna," said Lita while Raye continued eating the pie. "She sure didn't want to talk about it, did she?"
"She left pretty quickly. Do…you think we can eat the rest?" Amy wondered.
"I think it's a bit late, Amy. It's practically all gone," said Raye as there was only one piece left on the plate.
"Oh, I'm sure Serena can smooth this out," said Mina as everyone agreed.
"Ah! Thanks a lot!" said Serena, dramatically.
-Juban School-
"Sorry Dan for dragging you, but I do appreciate that you walked with me," said Rini.
"No sweat, Rini," replied the brunette before spotting a boy with dark brown hair and carrying a bunch of roses. "Hey, who's that?"
Rini gasped before pulling Dan out of view. They hide behind a pole with a bunch of bags and trash cans nearby.
"At least her pulls aren't like Runo's or Julie's," murmured Dan before looking at Rini. "So, is that by any chance Masanori?"
Rini nodded, blushing, "Y-Yea…but why is he waiting with those roses?"
"He could be – oh, hey look! Someone coming," said Dan. "Is that…Michelle?"
Rini nodded, "That's right. She's our art teacher."
"Really? Well, what a small world," murmured Dan.
The two saw Masanori gave the roses to Michelle and told her that he picked the red ones as it said to be the most romantic ones.
Dan looked at Rini who had a defeat look on her face. The brunette sighed before ruffling Rini's hair, "Don't give up, Rini. If you really want him to be your friend, then take it easy. Don't rush it, alright?"
Rini nodded before clenching her tiny hand when she saw Michelle giving Masanori a kiss on the cheek. Suddenly, a can fell on the ground.
"Oh, hello Rini, Dan," greeted Michelle, warmly. "Well, come on you two or we're going to be late for class."
"Coming," said Masanori. Rini simply followed him inside, but just as Dan was about to leave, Michelle stopped him.
"Would you mind helping me today, Dan?"
"Um, sure, but I don't know much about painting Michelle," said Dan, following her inside.
"Don't worry. I just need help on the supplies either cleaning the brushes or passing out the clay," explained Michelle.
Dan smiled, "Alright. Just let me call Serena to let her know as I was just going to drop her off."
"Of course, the phone is at the office. Let me take you there," said Michelle. "Once you're done, the classroom is three doors down from the office."
Dan followed Michelle to the office before leaving him alone. The brunette sighed before making the call to Serena's. After the call and double checking that Drago was safely in his pocket. He went to the classroom and started helping Michelle out.
After half an hour, Serena and Luna were looking around through the windows, outside of the school after her friends left.
"Luna, why do I have to come to Rini's art class? I feel like I'm spying on her and besides Dan is with her," wondered Serena.
"She made that pie, you took it, ate it and ruin the surprise for her friend," reminded Luna. "You should make sure she's alright and somehow make up to her."
"Oh alright," murmured Serena before continuing finding Rini's classroom. She looked a few windows when she found Rini sitting next to a boy and spotted Dan near a sink.
"She must be sitting next to Masanori," said Luna.
"It would seem so," said Serena and smiled, softly. "Oh good, looks like they're getting along."
Serena and Luna watched as Rini was having some difficultly with her sculpture while Dan was giving out some clay to the other children. That's when Serena spotted Michelle, "Hey, Dan wasn't kidding that Michelle was the art teacher."
"Well, who know," murmured Luna before Serena stepped away from the window.
Inside, Dan was looking at Rini's clay cup, "So, what's the deal with this cup thing you're making Rini?"
"Oh well…it's supposed to be a purity cup," replied Rini as Masanori listened. "I saw a picture in my mom's room. There's a moon and a crown on top and jewels all around it. I sure wish I had something like that."
"Cool, but I'm not much into jewelry though," said Dan, sheepishly.
"Of course not, cause boys don't like jewelry," said Rini before sighing. "But I keep getting stuck at this one part of it."
"Maybe…I can help," offered Masanori. "Sorry, I sort of overheard your conversation. Here, let me see…so a purity cup, correct?"
Rini nodded as Masanori was fixing up where Rini was having trouble for the past ten minutes.
"Hey, you did it!" praised Dan. "Thanks for helping her, Masanori. You're pretty good with this, what's your secret?"
Masanori laughed, "No secret. I just love sculpting. It's my passion."
Dan and Rini grinned just as Michelle came over to them.
"Masanori, Rini should be doing her own work," said Michelle.
"Oh no, he was just helping her on something that she got stuck at," said Dan before spotting the paintbrushes Michelle was holding. "Want me to clean those for you?"
"Oh, I see. Very well, I will let this slide and yes Dan, if you don't mind?" said Michelle as she handed the brushes to the brunette.
"No problem, madam," said Dan before going over to the sink.
"Well, keep on going so we can move on to the next step," said Michelle before going over to another student. As she walked away, Masanori had heart shape eyes while Rini was glaring at Michelle.
'Back off Michelle! You're ruining everything for me!'
Meanwhile, on the other side of the window, Serena was able to see that Rini has a small crush on Masanori. She giggled, "Ah, I know just what to do."
"Oh dear, what are you scheming now?" Luna asked, worriedly.
Serena bend down, smiling, "Don't you see Luna? She just needs a little help so I'm going to play match maker and try to get them together."
"What?!" said Luna, running after Serena.
(Again, you guys have seen the scene where they make the heart snatcher so going to skip that scene and onward to the important one!)
Serena was humming peacefully, carrying a basket full of goods for Rini and her new friend while Luna was inside the basket.
"Why are you here, Serena?"
Serena turned to see Drago near a window, nearby the classroom where Rini, Dan and Masanori were in. "And why are you out here, Drago?" whispered Serena as Luna popped out from the basket.
"Dan thought it would be best if I stay out here…in case I was mistake of an art piece," replied Drago, sighing. "What's your reason?"
"Ah, well you see…I felt bad for eating Rini's pie so um, I…thought that I could make it up to her by getting these sweets for her and her new friend," replied Serena while Luna sighed.
"Is she telling the truth, Luna?" asked Drago.
"In…a way Drago," replied Luna.
Serena pouted before gasping to see a janitor coming their way. She quickly grabbed the pyrus bakugan and throw him in the basket.
"Hey – what the?!"
Serena shushed him and quickly went inside to Rini's classroom. "Hey there Rini," greeted Serena as she walked over to the pink hair child.
Dan turned around upon hearing Rini's scream before having an annoyed look on his face. He slapped his forehead, knowing what's going to happen. "This can't end good," murmured the brunette before going over to them. He got there when Rini stepped onto Serena's foot, "What are you doing here, Serena?"
While Serena was holding her scream, Rini turned around to shout for Dan's help. Only to see the brunette was standing next to her. "Dan, make her go away!" Rini begged, "She's totally embarrassing me!"
"I am not!" said Serena.
"Hey Rini, is she…your sister?" Masanori asked.
Rini sighed, "I guess…you can call her that."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Serena. And I hope you and Rini become good friends," said Serena as she was holding both of their hands.
"Oh…well…yea," said Masanori, awkwardly while Rini was blushing. "Be right back."
"Oh boy," murmured Dan.
"Well, he's a cutie," said Serena, happily. "Go on Rini, the door is open for you. And here, I got these snacks just for you and him so both of you can share."
"Serena, you – wait, you…really bought sweets for me and Masanori?" said Rini as she looked inside the basket. There was two bags of sweets wrapped in clear plastic and was tied up with a pink and blue ribbon.
"Can I please get out of here?!" snapped Drago.
"Hey, I thought I left Drago outside of the classroom," said Dan, picking Drago up.
"Oh, Serena had to grab him as a janitor was walking around the hallways. We had to hide him in here with me," explained Luna.
"I see…and here I thought the hallways were empty, but I guess I was wrong," said Dan. "You should probably head out Serena in case Michelle comes back."
"Oh right," said Serena, but just as she was about to hand the basket to Rini, a car came crashing into the class. Serena quickly grabbed Rini and pulled her to the side while Dan jumped out of the way.
"Hey, is that…" said Dan as a familiar redhead came out of the white car.
"Eugeal!" shouted Serena and Rini.
Masanori removed a fallen desk from him and glared at the redhead woman. "Hey, who are you and what do you want?"
Eugeal took out her gun, "This wouldn't hurt."
She aimed and fired to Masanori's chest. Rini watched as her dear friend's pure heart was being taken away.
"I'm sure this crystal will turn into a lovely treasure," said Eugeal as she grabbed Masanori's pure heart before seeing Uranus and Neptune. "Ah, where did you two came from? Can't you give a girl a break of not ruining her plans just once! It's time to step up heart snatcher!"
"I am Chokokka!" said the heart snatcher with a pose of her own.
"Oh, good grief," murmured Eugeal.
Rini narrowed her eyes, "Let's go get them."
"Wait Rini. You can't transform here," said Luna as Dan crawled over to them.
"So, what do we do then? We can't just let that redhead get that pure heart," said Dan, softly.
"I wasn't going to transform," murmured Rini before getting up and ran straight to Eugeal. Dan and Serena were shocked when they saw Rini bite Eugeal's arm.
"Ah! Why you little barbarian!" Eugeal snapped as she tosses both Rini and the pure heart away.
Rini grabbed the pure heart and glared angrily to Eugeal. "Masanori is my friend and I won't let a manic like you steal his pure heart!"
"Alright Rini! Way to go!" cheered Dan.
Eugeal gritted her teeth before walking over to Rini, "Why you naughty little yarn-ape! Be nice little girl and give Auntie Eugeal her crystal!"
Rini got up and pointed at her, "You're not my Auntie, you trashy tart – oh! Oh no, give it back to me! Please!"
Uranus was looking at the pure heart before giving a slight nod to Neptune, who gave a soft smile to Rini.
"Don't worry about it kiddo, you can have it back," said Neptune.
"Now that we found out it isn't the right one," said Uranus as she throws it back to Rini.
"Oh, um…thanks," murmured Rini before going back to Masanori and returned his pure heart.
Eugeal ran back to her car, "Looks like my work here is done – make a master piece Chokokka!"
Chokokka turned to Neptune and Uranus before throwing chisels at them. The two outer scouts jumped out of the way before leading the heart snatcher away from the damaged classroom.
Dan helped Serena out from a fallen desk before Luna told them to transform.
"Let's go Rini!" shouted Dan.
Rini nodded before looking at Masanori, "It's alright now. Stay here and don't move, ok?"
Unknown to Rini, she didn't hear Masanori calling her, his princess before passing out. The three found a spot to transform without anyone seeing them.
"Moon Prims Power!"
"Moon Cosmic Power!"
"Ability card, power of Pyrus bakugan – transform!"
Meanwhile, Uranus was combat fighting with Chokokka at a park. The heart snatcher landed on a sand box after getting hit once again.
"This one is not much of a challenge, but pretty colorful though," stated Uranus as Chokokka sat up and started making something from the sand.
"Creation number 001, beyond by slaughter and come to life," said Chokokka as her monster came to life and attacked Uranus.
"Oh no! Uranus!" shouted Neptune while Chokokka was making another one.
"Creation number 002, art come to life!"
"Well, you should sharpen your tools as it looks rather dull looking," said Neptune. "What are you going to call it?"
Chokokka countered her replied then had her new clay monster attacked Neptune, which started chasing her. The heart snatcher laughed but stopped when a fireball hit her head. She turned around to see two girls and a boy, who had his hand out with smoke.
"You make a mockery of the visual fine arts and use your dirty hands to create cheap works of pain!"
"And worst of all you endanger the life of my friend! I don't tolerate your kind!"
"I'm Sailor Moon and in the name of the moon, I shall punish you!"
"And I am Sailor Mini Moon and I shall punish you too!"
The boy sighed, "I can't believe I'm going to say this – don't forget, the Passion Flame brawler, the Pyrus Hero!"
"Oh! That was good Pyrus!" praised Moon while Pyrus made a face.
"Can't we just get rid of this creepy chick," begged Pyrus.
Mini Moon and Sailor Moon nodded before the two jumped from where they were standing and went straight to Chokokka. "Double Sailor Moon kick!"
Chokokka was about to throw something at them as Pyrus sense it coming.
"I don't think so – Burst Shield!" said Pyrus and formed flames around Mini Moon and Sailor Moon's feet. The flame blocked the dark orb and their attack hit right into Chokokka's chest.
The flames separate around Chokokka's body and she tried to get rid of it.
Pyrus jumped down next to Mini Moon, "If I remember correctly, if sand gets hot enough and if you cool it down, it turns to glass or something."
"Really? But Sailor Mercury and Aquos aren't here, so what can we use to make her wet?" wondered Mini Moon.
"I think I can help," Neptune appeared behind them and send her attack, "Waters of Neptune – Deep Submerge!"
The trio watched the heart snatcher slowly turned to a clear version of herself but couldn't move.
"Now, that's some sculpture," Neptune comment with a smile.
"You can say that again," Uranus appeared next to Neptune and shook her head, "Alright moon girl, finish this off with full colors."
"I'm at your service," said Moon just as Mini Moon popped out of nowhere.
"Don't worry, we'll finish her," said Mini Moon with full confidence. "Pink Sugar Heart attack!"
Nothing came out like usual, but it didn't take long for small hearts to come out of the small pink rod. The attack made a few glass pieces to fall off from the glass figure heart snatcher.
Pyrus and Sailor Moon shook their heads.
"Alright then…Moon Spiral Heart attack!"
With that the heart snatcher was destroyed into a million pieces before returning into chisels where the Damion pod came out and was destroyed.
"We'll see you later, so long," said Neptune before the outer scouts disappeared.
"Well, they sure are pretty cool," murmured Rini before glaring at Serena. "Much better than Sailor Moon. I mean even Pyrus is much better than you are!"
"What? How can you say that?!" shouted Moon while Pyrus sighed. Luna jumped on Pyrus' shoulder and Drago came out of the diamond. "They're like cats and dogs or something," murmured Pyrus as Luna and Drago agreed.
-Sunset-
Dan, Serena and their friends watched from a distance that Masanori gave Rini something before he ran off. Dan contacted their friends on what happened, and all showed up just after Rini's art class finished. Rini returned and her cheeks were bright red.
"Aw cute, young love!" said Julie and the girls agreed while Dan and the boys shook their heads.
"Well, if it wasn't my little help then Rini wouldn't be this close to him," said Serena.
"What do you mean? Everything was going great until you came along and embarrassed me," said Rini and Luna agreed.
Serena hit Luna on the head, "Hey, you're supposed to be on my side."
"That's not all! You guys still owe me an apple pie!" said Rini. "You owe me and Alice one! So, are you guys going to cough it up or what?!"
"Rini, it's not really that necessary," said Alice. "Let bye gone be bye gone, ok?"
Rini shook her head, "No! I really wanted to give some to Masanori, so they owe me!"
"Well, it should be Serena that makes it, not us," stated Raye.
"Wait what?!" said Serena.
"That's right. You should've asked before taking something that wasn't yours Serena," said Amy while Mina nodded.
"Oh, come on," said Serena before looking over at the brunette. "A little help wouldn't hurt Dan."
Dan laughed, nervously and was about to reply when Rini stopped him and took out her half of the sweets that Serena had bought.
"Serena may have ruined my plans…but she did try to make it up for me," said Rini, softly before glaring at the scouts. "You four, on the other hand, what did you do? Serena at least had an excuse why she thought it was okay to eat the pie as I was there when she asked her mom some baked goods. But you guys?"
Lita and the girls lowered their heads down in shame.
"So…I'm off the hook?" Serena asked in hope.
At that moment, Rini saw her beautiful mother, smiling at her before returning back to Serena. Rini simply nodded, resulting for Serena to have a huge grin and hugged Rini.
