Nigel Channing looked at his phone. His stolen iPhone. But he pushed that thought to the back of his head.

He'd been obsessively checking his phone since the last D23, waiting for any kind of announcement that Disney were going to scrap the ride. And so far, nothing. Figment would become a walk around character again, but no changes for the ride.

Then he saw it.

And that's when Figment came flying in, waving his own phone.

'Dr Channing! Dr Channing! Nigel!' he said excitedly.

Nigel sighed. 'Yes, Figment?'

'Doc, Disney are making a movie all about me!' Figment said.

'Yes, so I saw,' said Nigel.

'Isn't that just so cool?' asked Figment. 'Just think of all the people who will be using their imaginations on it!'

'Many people, Figment,' said Nigel.

'So many people, Doc!' said Figment, as he pulled his phone to his chest. 'It'll be beautiful.'

'Are you sure about that?' asked Nigel. He'd seen more than his fair share of dud movies.

'Oh, I'm sure,' said Figment. 'Even the very worst movies spark the imagination. Look at Mystery Science Theater 3000.'

'How do you know about that?'

'I wonder if Disney are going to tell the story of me and Dreamfinder? Or will they jump straight into you.'

'I -'

'I know what I'd like to see.'

'I bet you do.'

'You know, Doc, I really miss Dreamfinder,' Figment said wistfully.

'I know you do, Figment,' said Nigel.

'Why did he just leave me behind like this?' asked Figment. 'Why didn't he take me with him?'

'Because sometimes, Figment, you have to do what's best for the ones you love. Even if it's hard,' said Nigel.

'You won't leave me if this movie makes me super famous, right, Doc?' asked Figment.

'No, Figment,' said Nigel. 'I won't.'

Yes, Seth Rogen is indeed making a movie about Figment! We don't know anything about it yet. It'll probably come out in the middle of the decade, if it's not scrapped.
Maybe it'll be a tie in to Honey I Shrunk The Kids because that's where Nigel Channing comes from (well, the attraction Honey I Shrunk the Audience, which is canon to the Honey trilogy). Or maybe it'll just be Figment and Dreamfinder. It'll be nice to see that if that's the case.
