Disclaimer- And here I am back again with YET ANOTHER fanfic. This time a Jack-centric one. And since I like trying new things it's also a Jack/Megatron shipfic.. And I have nothing else to say other than I don't own Transformers that belongs to Hasbro. I am merely borrowing them for my own amusement.

Chapter 1: Target: Jack Darby

"Shockwave."

Shockwave tensed when he heard his masters voice. Slowly he turned around looking up at the imposing form of Megatron. Shockwave watched as the Decepticon Leader drew closer until he was standing before him, servos clasped behind his back.

"How is our latest project coming along?" Megatron asked, looking past him to scan the rows upon rows of data Megatron knew he could never decipher no matter how he tried. Thankfully he didn't need to when he had Shockwave and Knock Out to deal with this stuff.

"Our project, Lord Megatron, is going according to plan." Shockwave informed him.

"I'm sensing a but at the end of the sentence." Megatron said, meeting Shockwave's gaze.

"But I need a viable test subject. A human that can withstand having their conscience transferred into that of a Cybertronian body. One with a strong enough will." Shockwave informed him.

Upon hearing those words one such human popped into Megatron's mind. Jack. The Autobot ally that had on more than one occasion caught the warlords interest. A human, Megatron knew had a nearly unbreakable will. The corner of his mouth turned upwards at the thought. "Shockwave." He said, placing a servo on Shockwave's shoulder. "I may have the perfect test subject for you. One that will give you the most satisfactory results." And with a low chuckle Megatron turned away from the scientist.

Chaos. That was the only word that seemed to come to the mind of Jack as he raced through the trees. Pure chaos, after all, Jack thought the tell-tale sounds of fighting echoing behind him as he tried to distance himself from the fight. Wanting to find some safe place until the fighting died down. That was easier said than done as the teen tripped over rocks and fallen logs.

This had meant to be routine scouting mission, he had accompanied Arcee on several missions like this before and things have never hit the fan like this before. And now, here he was racing through the forest, occasionally looking over his shoulder just in case a 'Con or anyone else came up behind him. Seeing nothing Jack continued to run. Until he was well and truly certain he was safe from harm. Heaving a tired sigh Jack slowed to a walk, and plopped down on a fallen tree stump. Running a hand through his sweat soaked hair. Heart pounding in his chest as he listened intently as the sounds of fighting continued on. Jack crossed his fingers as he hoped that Arcee and the others would be okay.

"What am I saying?" he muttered. "Of course they would."

"You seem to delight in talking to yourself." A voice spoke from behind him.

Jumping to his feet Jack whirled around, seeing the all too familiar red Austin Martin with yellow rims before him. Jack his heart nearly leaped from his chest as Knock Out transformed and stood before him. Taking a few steps back as the red Decepticon took a few strides in his direction.

"Jack, right?" Knock Out asked, watching as the teen continued to back away from him. Knock Out continuing to follow him. "I've been looking for you." Knock Out didn't wait for the boy to respond as he grabbed for him. But Jack was just a tad bit fast as he leaped out of the way. Earning a growl from Knock Out.

"Looking for me, why?" Jack asked, dread forming in the pit of his stomach. A Decepticon looking for him was never a good thing.

"Let's just say that Lord Megatron has requested an audience with you." Knock Out said.

Fear gripped Jack as listened to this from behind the tree he had ducked behind as Knock Out grabbed for him again. Megatron was after him? That wasn't good. Jack cried out as Knock Out knocked the tree he had been hiding behind out of the way as if it was nothing. A scowl forming on Knock Out's face plate as the teen darted down the hill the kid had climbed up not too long ago.

"Really?" Knock Out called out, starting his slow decent down the hill, mood darkening as the kid disappeared into some thick bushes. "You're going to make this harder than this had to be?" Grumbling Knock Out continued to chase after Jack. "Lord Megatron, I hope this human is worth it." He muttered, red optics scanning the clearing he had arrived in.

Peering behind trees and rocks, looking for Jack. Seeing no sign of the boy, until his optics settled on the cave. The corner of his mouth plate turning upwards. "Oh, Jack!" He called out. "Are you waiting for me in that deep dark cave?" the medic peered into the cave, grimacing as he had to crawl in order to even get into the cave. "I hope you know," he called out again. Mood growing even darker by the moment. "That if I scratch my paint in here I will make you pay."

So much for this being an easy task. As he continued to crawl through this cave, grimacing as he felt the dirt and grime seep into his joints, knowing he would have hours of buffing when this stupid little task was complete. And as he moved further he couldn't help but wonder if he would be able to get away with telling Megatron that the kid had perished in someway. Jack, wasn't worth all this trouble. An idea he quickly quashed as killing the kid wouldn't be worth whatever punishment Megatron would have in store for him if he did.

A shudder running through his chassis as he continued to search for Jack. Not knowing that the boy was already far away...

He lost Knock Out, Jack thought, looking over his shoulder. Seeing no sign of the Decepticon. Heaving a big sigh of relief he slowed to a walk when he realized that he was alone. But now there was another problem. He was lost. Jack scanned the area, not recognizing anything around him. Swallowing Jack looked around once more, heart beat quickening once more...

He was lost, and the Decepticons were after him. Him. A thought that Jack did not like. What do they want with me? Jack didn't know, and frankly he didn't want to know, and the last thing he was going to do was sit here for Knock Out to eventually find him. Forcing himself to keep walking Jack strained his ears for any sign of Arcee or the others. Heading in the direction he hoped the Autobots were in until an hour passed and still no sign of Arcee or anyone.

In fact, Jack mused, looking around, he was certain he was walking around in circles until-

"Oh, you must think you're real clever." Knock Out's voice jerked him from his thoughts.

Whirling around Jack found himself staring up at very enraged Knock Out. The 'Con in question was covered in mud, moss, and had various scratches littering his chassis. Jack was certain that if Knock Out was capable his face plate would be bright red. He was livid.

"Well," Jack said, scratching at the back of his head. "Clever enough to lose you for an hour. And obviously clever enough to make you ruin your paint job." Miko must've been rubbing off on him. Never in a million years would he have said that otherwise.

Red optics widened, an enraged roar escaping Knock Out's lips. And that was all the prompting Jack needed to not stick around any longer. Whirling around he ran. However, this time it seemed like Jack's luck seemed to have run out as his foot caught on a rock, pitching him forward.

Grunting in pain he picked himself up, hissing between his teeth. Looking over his should he let out a startled cry as Knock Out wrapped a servo around him, lifting the teen up Knock Out brought him up to optic level. "Between you and me?" Knock Out growled through clenched denta, bringing Jack closer. "You're better off dead. But, like I said before Lord Megatron ordered me to bring him to you relatively unharmed. So obey I must."

"Why does Megatron want me?" Jack asked, trying in vain to break free of Knock Out's grip. Wincing slightly as Knock Out tightened his grip on the boy just slightly.

"He and Shockwave have some sort of plan in the works. And they needed a human guinea pig, and you Jack, fit the bill. Other than that," Knock Out said, the corner of his mouth plate turning upwards. "I haven't the foggiest idea. But it's better you and than me that's all I'm going to say." The two of them walked a short while until- "Knock Out to base requesting one ground bridge. I come bearing gifts for Lord Megatron." He said, looking down at Jack once more.

Terror gripped poor Jack's heart. Seeing that he had nothing to lose he screamed. "Arcee! Help!" As the Decepticon walked through the bridge and back into the Decepticon base. And to Jack's doom...

Authors Notes-And here is the very first chapter to Until You Are No More. I know not a whole lot happened but I hope you enjoyed it. And just a heads up this is NOT going to be a feel good story. And this is Black Jack signing off.
