The Bouzouki Playing Pirate, the Concertina Playing Pirate, and the Pirate Singer enjoyed being in their weird little pirate band with that donkey and that dog.

It was nice, being in a band with your friends.

But it was hard, playing for hours, hours, hours - from early in the morning, eight in the morning to sometimes one in the morning. With only a six hour break, it was extremely demanding.

Even for the Pirate Singer, who didn't play an instrument, it was still a strain on his voice.

It was amazing that they hadn't fallen out in all the time they'd been there.

Maybe the dog and the donkey helped. It was impossible to be argumentative around animals.

As the boats floated by them every day, they played their instruments, sang Yo Ho! A Pirate's Life For Me, standing between the donkey and the dog.

Delighting guests was their job.
