Summary: A Darkus bakugan was send to Tokyo rather back to Vestroia with the other bakugan where he meets Mimete and team up to catch pure hearts. Can the Sailor Scouts defeat this new foe or will the Battle Brawlers have to step up to help them out?
I don't own Bakugan or Sailor Moon.
Back at the movie shoot, everyone was taking a break and all of the fans were about to eat lunch. Serena and the girls looked around for a spot to have their lunch. That's when they noticed Rini and Dan were gone.
"Now in the world did Dan go?" wondered Runo, slightly annoyed.
"You don't think Rini asked him to take him to the playgrounds, do you?" asked Amy.
"Most likely," said Lita. "I better safe their food so no one would eat it."
Serena and Mina made a face before looking the other way. The others laughed before they started eating their lunch.
Nearby the lake, Mimete was hiding behind a tree and was having second thoughts about stealing Joshua's pure heart. She slowly turned her head before gasping in shock.
Joshua was kissing the leading girl in his movie and was smiling at her, happily.
"It's nice working together, huh?"
"Anytime we're together, it is nice," said Joshua.
"Oh you are so romantic."
'Oh yea well that is all about to change because his heart belongs to me – and only me!' thought Mimete as she throw away her disguise. She opens the briefcase, "Come out Western!"
A woman that was dress in a western style with a cactus hat on top of her head came out of the case. "Howdy all!" greeted Western. "Your heart!"
Joshua and the girl turned around before gasping in shock. Joshua quickly grabbed hold to the woman before running away from Mimete. "Run!"
"Think you can just take your heart and run – Western! Go after them and round up that heart crystal," ordered Mimete as Odin jumped onto her shoulder.
The heart snatcher nodded before going after Joshua. Unknown to the enemy, the heart snatcher by passed Dan and Rini who gasp in shock.
'A heart snatcher!' thought Rini and Dan.
The brunette took out his Bakupad and sends a message to Shun and Runo. He quickly looked over at Rini, "We have to find someplace to hide, Rini!"
"Alright, come on Hotaru," agreed Rini.
Hotaru who was slightly confuse just nodded and followed Rini and Dan.
Meanwhile not too far from the movie shoot, Runo's Bakupad started beeping. She takes it out, "Well it's about time for Dan to tell us where he is – wait, a heart snatcher is here?!"
Serena and the others gasp before hearing the screaming coming from the movie shoot. They saw everyone running away and not long spotted the enemy chasing after them.
"Let's go girls!" said Mina while everyone nodded.
Back at the movie set, everyone was trying to take cover while Western was shooting at them what looked like paint. That's when Mimete spotted the girls that mocked her and smirked.
"It never serves to trash someone's cake – Western, give a little extra to the girls there!"
"You got it," said Western as she fired some more paint to the three women.
Mimete laughed, "By the way, forget about Joshua Ita – his heart is mine!"
Behind the bushes, Dan, Rini and Hotaru watched as they can't do anything about it. Dan and Rini felt guilt for not stopping the heart snatcher but they can't reveal Hotaru their secret.
Mimete jumped onto the camera sit before getting lifted up in the air. Odin was able to stay put onto Mimete's shoulder. "Alright that is enough payback! Now give me a close up heart snatching!"
"Ok, you're the director," said Western. She turned around to Joshua's direction who was cornered by a tree behind him.
As the heart snatcher was able to attack, a voice interrupted her. She grits her teeth before all of them turned their heads.
"Move along, you little doggy!"
It was the Sailor Scouts and the Brawlers.
"I am Sailor Moon, the lover of movies! How dare you stop a new film masterpiece? This place is not big enough for outlaws like you so – we just have to run you out of town!"
"The Sailor Scouts and the Brawlers, finally come to play – Western! Clear the set!" ordered Mimete.
The heart snatcher nodded before she started charging towards them.
"This will be your last take," said Sailor Moon before taking out her heart rod. "Moon Spiral Heart Attack!"
Mimete just smirked as Western took out her gun and destroyed each of Sailor Moon's attack. The Scouts and the Brawlers gasped.
"Never seen that before," said Mars.
"The Heart Snatchers are getting stronger," said Mercury.
"This is like totally not good," said Subterra as she holds onto her hammer, tightly.
"But if Sailor Moon can't destroy her, how can we save Joshua's pure heart?" wondered Haos.
"We just got to think of something else," said Venus as the others agreed.
Mimete laughed, "Heart Snatcher, show them how it's done!"
"Right," said Western. She throws a horseshoe towards Joshua, "Ringer!"
Joshua stepped back but was pushed to the side and instead, his girlfriend took the hit for him. It circled around her neck before she collapsed onto the ground.
"Hey, you're going to pay for that!" shouted Joshua, angrily.
"Really?" questioned Western as she walked over to him. She quickly grabbed hold onto his shirt, "Now give a kiss you pretty boy."
Joshua dodged a few times before Western started to inhale and felt something coming out of his mouth, his pure heart. Western smiles before she swallowing it down her throat.
The Scouts and the Brawlers had a disgusted look on their faces upon what they saw.
"She…swallowed it," said Mina.
"Swallowed it?! She practically ate it!" snapped Haos.
"We got what we came for! Let's hit the trail!" said Mimete as she was going down. Western agreed but as the two of them were about to escape, something stopped them.
"Uranus World Shaking!"
"Neptune Deep Submerge!"
The two attacks hit Western that caused her to let go of the pure heart of a second before she swallowed it up again.
"What – who are you?" asked Mimete.
"I'm Sailor Uranus and pulling the plug on this production!"
"And I'm Sailor Neptune telling you, you've shot your last take, you slimball!"
Mimete growled before looking around and spotted Dan, Rini and Hotaru. She smirks, "Western, there! The kids! Get the pink hair girl with the hat!"
Dan, Rini and Hotaru gasped.
Western nodded before throwing her lasso towards them.
"Come on Hotaru, we've got to run!" said Rini.
"Wait Rini!" said Dan. The brunette was about to grab hold onto Rini's hand when the lasso grab hold onto her instead. "Rini!"
"Oh no!" said Hotaru.
Rini was pulled out from the bushes and landed in front of Western.
"Rini!" shouted the Scouts and Brawlers.
"Oh yes," said Mimete. She jumps down, "You move an inch before I leave with the pure heart and little Miss Cotton candy is going to get a serious rope burn. That's goes for you, Brawlers."
The Scouts and the Brawlers had a frown on their faces while Uranus and Neptune didn't know what to do.
Dan clenched his fist, "Damn it…if only I was able to get a hold of her."
"Poor Rini," said Hotaru, softly.
"Pluto Deadly Scream!"
The unknown attack destroyed the lasso and releasing Rini from its hold. Rini looked up and smiled, "Pluto!"
Dan quickly walked over to her, "Come on, while they are distracted."
Rini nodded before following Dan back to the bushes with Hotaru.
"Sailor Moon, use the chalice," said Pluto.
Sailor Moon nodded, "Moon Crisis Power!"
Western gritted her teeth and went after them while Odin was looking over at where Dan came out from. The Darkus bakugan laughed a bit darkly.
Sailor Moon took out her heart rod once more, "Rainbow Moon Heartache!"
The updated attack destroyed the heart snatcher that was original a gun from the Western era. The seed pod came out and was destroyed while the heart crystal was alright.
Mimete step back.
"Not so hot without your trusted Heart Snatcher," stated Sailor Moon.
Mimete huffed before letting out a small smirk, "Who said that I was done."
"What do you mean?" demanded Uranus. "You have nothing to attack us with!"
"Oh really – Odin! Let's show them!" said Mimete as she took out a gate card.
"What?!" said the Scouts.
"Quick take out your Gate cards as well," said Ventus and Aquos appear before them. "Darkus, Aquos and Subterra – get a hold onto Uranus, Neptune and Pluto! Quick!"
Ventus quickly glazed over at Dan who gave him a nod.
'Good luck,' thought Dan.
Suddenly everything froze up and the Scouts, the Brawlers and Mimete were standing in the between dimensions.
"So this is what you were talking about Odin," said Mimete. She places her hands onto her hips, "Not much my style but I do like the colored sky."
"Stay focus!" snapped Odin.
"Is that?" said Darkus.
Ventus nodded, "I believe so." He narrows his eyes, "That's the Bakugan we've been looking for."
"W-What's going on?" asked Neptune. "Where are we?"
"We'll explain to you later," replied Sailor Moon as she looked down at her card. She sighs, "Looks like we get the first brawl, Natsu."
The Haos bakugan jumped out from Sailor Moon's hidden pocket. "Then let's show them how strong we are…Sailor Moon."
"Is that what I think it is?" wondered Uranus. She looks over at Ventus, slightly angrily, "Why do they have Bakugan like you do?"
"Like Sailor Moon said, we'll explain everything later," said Ventus before addressing to Sailor Moon. "Stay focused and pay attention on what cards she'll be using!"
Sailor Moon nodded before grabbing hold onto her new partner. "Gate card set! Let's go Natsu!"
"Gate card set! Show them your power Odin!"
"You may not be Drago but I could use a nice warm-up against a weakling like you," sneer Odin.
"You'll regret those words," said Natsu. She looks down, "It will be you who is going to taste defeat."
Neptune and Uranus were in shock upon seeing the true form of the bakugan while Pluto had a small smile upon her face.
Serena: 0/2 vs. Mimete: 0/2
Natsu: 420G and Odin: 480G
"Hey, this is a two win match," said Aquos, looking down at his diamond.
"That means she needs to stay focus if not, she could lose," said Ventus, seriously.
"Odin, let's start things off – ability card activate, Eraser Cannon!" ordered Mimete.
Odin: 480G + 200G = 680G
Natsu: 420G – 150G = 270G
"Odin gained 200Gs while Natsu lost 150Gs," stated Haos. "Counter it quick, Sailor Moon!"
"Right – ability card activate, Divine Shine," said Sailor Moon.
Natsu: 270G + 200G = 470G
Odin: 680G – 100G = 580G
Mimete gritted her teeth, "So what? Your little birdie is still weak! Go Odin, beat her little bird!"
Odin roared and flew over to where Natsu was flying at. Serena carefully watched to see Odin flying over to her gate card and smiled. "Not sure fast – gate card open!"
The card underneath the two flying bakugan started to glow before going over to Odin and started to surround him before going over to Natsu.
"No way!" shouted Mimete. She watched as the Haos Phoenix attacked Odin with a light beam which caused him to return back to his ball form.
Odin: 580G – 200G = 380G
Natsu: 470G + 200G = 670G
Serena: 1/2 vs. Mimete: 0/2
Mimete stomped her foot, "There is no way I'm losing to you!"
Sailor Moon took out another gate card, "And I'm not letting you escape!"
"Odin/Natsu, let's go!"
Natsu: 420G vs. Odin: 480G
"Ability card activate, Moonlight," said Sailor Moon. A bright light shine around Natsu and the gate card underneath Odin was glowing bright white.
Natsu: 420G + 100G = 520G
"Huh? Looks like Sailor Moon was able to freeze Mimete's gate card," stated Aquos.
"No, no, no, no!" shouted Mimete, angrily. "Not this time! Ability card activate, Plasma Impulse!"
Odin: 480G + 350G = 830G
The Brawlers and the Scouts gasped upon seeing the huge amount of G's that Odin gained.
"Never underestimate my power!" shouted Odin. He let out a large purple fireball and sent it up before splitting into five smaller fireballs. It went straight to Natsu's chest before send her to the floor and returning back to her ball form.
Serena: 1/2 vs. Mimete: 1/2
"Not good, this is not good," said Venus. "They are both tied."
Mars gritted her teeth, "Sailor Moon! You better win this one!"
"I know that!" snapped Sailor Moon before looking down at her partner. "Let's try to win this."
"I'm with you all the way…and please, Sailor Moon, try to stay calm," said Natsu, calmly.
Sailor Moon nodded before taking a deep breath before glaring at Mimete who was smirking at her. Both of them throw their partners and begin their final brawl.
Natsu: 420G vs. Odin: 480G
"Not bad for an insect newbie…but this ends now, you rant," sneer Odin.
"Wrong as it will be I who will win, not you," said Natsu.
Mimete smirked, "Let's start pulling out the big guns, Odin! Ability card activate, Doom Twilight!"
Odin: 480G + 550G = 1080G
"Holy cow! I never seen that much G-Power before!" said Subterra in disbelief. The others were nervous if their comrade is able to turn things around.
"Don't count me out just yet," said Sailor Moon. "Gate card open, Transformation!"
Natsu: 420G to 1080G
"Oh, why are you so stubborn?!" whined Mimete. She clenched her hands and gritted her teeth, "That's it –ability card activate, Dragon Shadow! Let's see if you can use any of your abilities cards now!"
Serena saw the card underneath glowed and the light surrounded her partner but never let out.
"This is not good. She just practically blocked Sailor Moon's chances of winning," said Aquos. "She wouldn't be able to use her abilities until the round is over."
"Is…there anything she can do? Anything?!" asked Mars.
Ventus thought for a moment before looking over at Sailor Moon. 'Will you be able to figure it out and counter it just in time?'
Mimete laughed, "You're done! Now Odin, let's finish this off!"
"Not good! Not good!" said Subterra before noticing Sailor Moon was not worried or panicking at all. She titles her head, "Hey…why is Sailor Moon all so calm?"
The Inner Scouts and the Brawlers looked towards their comrade to see that she was smiling a bit with a slightly serious look on her face.
"You're right. I can't activate any normal ability cards," said Sailor Moon as the dark energy coming towards her partner. "But…there is nothing said about Fusion abilities, is there?"
"Huh?" said Mimete before re-reading the ability card once more. That's when she widens her eyes and gasp, "That brat is right! Does it only apply to all abilities or just the normal ones?"
"Let's find out," said Sailor Moon. "Fusion ability card activate, Spiral Light!"
Natsu: 1080G + 300G = 1380G
Odin: 1080G – 200G = 880G
"Come to your senses and go back to where you belong!" said Natsu before getting surrounded by a bright light and attacked the dark bakugan. The light engulfed Odin and returned back to his ball form.
Serena: 2/2 vs. Mimete: 1/2
"Alright!" shouted Sailor Moon, happily.
"She did it!" shouted the Brawlers and the Inner Scouts.
Suddenly they were all back at the park where the Scouts and the Brawler turned their heads over to Mimete who was holding onto Odin.
"Just you wait! I'll get you Sailor Scouts and you too, Brawlers!" shouted Mimete as she ran off towards the sunset.
"Think we should try to catch her," wondered Jupiter.
"No, I don't think so. We did save the crystal, that's what counts," said Mercury. She smiles, "That was pretty good Sailor Moon. You did an excellent job."
Sailor Moon nodded before feeling drained. She falls to her knees and changed back to her original outfit. "I'm so weak. I feel awful. That new rainbow power really knocked me out."
Back at the bushes, Dan and Rini sigh in relief before the brunette looked over at Rini. "Are you alright? Sorry that I didn't grab you in time."
Rini shook her head, "Na, I'm fine, really – Hotaru, are you okay?"
"Yes but are you sure you are – oh no! You got a scratch on your leg!"
Rini looked down to see that indeed on her right knee had a scratch and was slightly bleeding. She didn't feel the pain when she followed Dan back to the brushes but now seeing it, she felt the pain that caused her to fall down at the ground.
"Wow, easy there Rini," said Dan. He placed her onto his lap before looking over the injury, "It doesn't look that deep but we better clean it up before it gets infected. Sorry Hotaru, but we need to get going."
"Wait! Let me help heal it," offered Hotaru.
"How?" asked Dan while Drago was listening from the brunette's pocket.
"Like this," said Hotaru as she places her hand over Rini's scratched knee. Suddenly her hand started to glow and before they know it, Rini's injury disappeared.
"Awesome," said Dan.
"Amazing! You have special powers!" said Rini, happily.
Hotaru looked down, sadly, "Kids at school think I'm weird and treat me like a total freak and I don't have any friends just because I'm a little bit different."
Dan had a frown on his face before grinning, "Join the club, right Rini?"
"Huh?" said Hotaru.
"Dan and I are just like you! We understand what you mean," said Rini. She smiled, "I think – we think is great! You know your gift of healing, honest!"
"Really? You…You too Dan?" asked Hotaru, nervously.
Dan grinned, "You bet! I think is pretty cool you can do that!"
Hotaru widened her eyes as a tear fell down of her cheek. She smiles, innocently at them, "Thank you…" Suddenly Hotaru started shaking again.
"Not another episode," said Dan before going over to her side. He gently grab hold onto her shoulders, "Hotaru, do you want us to take you home? I can give you a piggyback ride."
"T-Thank you…Dan and Rini," said Hotaru as she leans over to Dan's shoulder. "W-Wait for a moment b-before you take me back home."
Dan and Rini nodded their heads.
Meanwhile back at the movie set, Sailor Moon returned back Joshua's pure heart. The girls sigh in relief to know that their favorite movie star will be alright now.
"He's lucky," stated Jupiter. She places her right hand onto her hip, "That crazy wacko Heart Snatcher almost gulped it up."
"So mind telling us what's going on?" said Uranus.
Marucho changed back, "Right. Well, we got word from the six Legendary Soldiers not too long ago starting up to here on out, the Witches will be not just fighting but brawling as well."
"Wait, are you telling me you got to see your previous guardians?" asked Pluto.
The Brawlers nodded.
"And they want to speak with you three as well," stated Shun as he changed back along with the others. He narrows his eyes, "They believe you three are going to fail if you continue to fight alone and without a Bakugan of your very own."
Michelle was in deep in thought but Amara gritted her teeth and snaps.
"How many times do I have to say to you?! This is our mission to fulfill, not some bunch of small children!"
"Children?! Who you calling children!" argued Runo and Raye.
Lita sighed and leand over to them, "The way the two of you are acting, it is no wonder why she sees us as such."
Raye and Runo blushed from embarrassment.
"We do appreciate when you are able to stop the heart snatchers but let us handle the rest from now on," said Michelle, softly.
"I'm sorry but this is what has to be everyone," said Trista before the three of them left.
"Even seeing the Bakugan, they still won't listen to us," said Mina. She crosses her arms, "What are we going to do? Should we listen to them or what?"
"You know, I say we should let them handle the next heart snatcher and see if they really don't need our help," suggested Lita.
The other girls and the Brawlers agreed.
That's when Runo noticed something missing. She looks around before making a face, "Where the heck are Dan and Rini?"
Everyone looked around but couldn't spot the two of them.
"I swear I saw them over there," said Lita as she walked over at some bushes. She looks around before sighing, "Nothing…I guess I was wrong."
"I'm going to kill you Dan!" snapped Runo.
Serena sighed, "As long the two of them are together, they should be fine. Send Dan a message through your Bakupad."
"Way ahead of yea," said Shun.
Meanwhile Dan was giving Hotaru a piggyback ride while Rini was walking right beside them.
"Once again thanks for taking me back home but you really didn't have to carry me Dan," said Hotaru, softly.
"Na, it's alright," said Dan. He smiles, "Besides you're not that heavy like someone I know."
Hotaru smiled, "Well this is my stop."
Dan nodded and carefully dropped Hotaru down before the three of them heard a man's voice behind them. They turned around to see a man with white hair and wearing a pair of glasses but on the right side, there was a weird star that was covering his eye.
"Sweetheart, where have you been? You never stay out long before. I was getting rather weird."
"Sorry Daddy, I had one of my episodes while I was at the park but I'm fine now and I made two new friends," said Hotaru, happily. "This is Rini and Dan."
"Good evening sir," greeted Dan.
"Hello," said Rini.
"Wonderful. Rini, Dan, it's a pleasure meeting you two."
Rini smiled while Dan gave out a large grin.
"So…maybe next time we can hang out?" wondered Hotaru.
Rini nodded, "You bet – oh and thanks for fixing my knee."
"You're welcome," said Hotaru. She smiles, "See you two later."
"Come Hotaru, it's time to head inside. Dan, Rini, the two of you are welcome here anytime."
"Thanks a lot, sir," said Dan before hearing his Bakupad beep. He mentally slapped his head, "Come Rini, let's get going. I think the others are looking for us."
"Oh! Oops, bye Hotaru!" said Rini before following Dan out of the gates.
Dan looked down at his Bakupad and read the message from Shun. He frowns a bit, "Looks like the Outer Scouts are still not listening to us." The brunette sighs before turning it off, "Come on, the others are waiting for us at the entrance of the park."
Rini nodded, sadly, "Ok…"
"What's wrong?" asked Dan.
Rini bitted her lip, "…seeing Hotaru's Dad reminded me of my Daddy and how much I miss my parents right now."
"Well in a way, you are with them but in their younger years," stated Dan before sighing. He smiles, softly, "Do you want a piggyback ride as well?"
Rini thought for a moment, "…maybe."
Dan sighed before lowering himself onto the floor. "Hop on."
Rini squeaked happily before jumping onto Dan's back. The brunette laughed a bit and made sure the young scout wouldn't fall before heading back to the park.

Well the first brawl, Sailor Moon was able to win it. Good for her!
But even witnessing the brawl, Amara and Michelle still wouldn't allow the Scouts to help them with their mission. Will the Scouts actually let the Outer Scouts fight the next heart snatcher alone? Are Dan and Serena will allow it? Find out in the next chapter, ciao for now!
