John 3, hated commuting, yet he'd never done it. Just like his counterparts in the first scene, the second scene, and the fourth scene. He, of course, knew what commuting was. He'd been around enough Cast Members to know. But he'd never done it himself.
He lived inside his attraction, along with his family - Sarah, his wife, Jimmy and Patty, their children, Rover, their dog, his parents, and, of course, his Uncle Orville.
It was constantly Halloween in their scene as well. He didn't know whether it would be worse in scene 2, where it was always Independence Day, or scene 4, where it was always Christmas. But they all managed. Somehow.
Still no commuting.
And John 3 was thankful.
It meant that at the end of the day, he could leave the attraction with Sarah for a date night, away from Halloween. Spending every waking moment of every day around pumpkins was often too much for him to bear. Even when actual Halloween season came around in August (far too early for John's liking).
To get away from Halloween, maybe he and Sarah would have a trip on the PeopleMover above them and pretend to commute on public transport. Or maybe they'd pretend to commute in personal transport on the Tomorrowland Speedway. To simulate that commuting experience.
It never hurt to just… turn the attraction on and have a quick race with Sarah while the Cast Members looked the other way.
With John in a red car and Sarah in a blue. They never took it seriously, of course, as they were always playfully competitive towards each other. It was just a bit of fun before they went back to the attraction in the morning.
Eager, of course, to get back on the Tomorrowland Speedway to tease each other.
