The Left Spacewalk Astronaut had a great view of the Omega Space Mountain track on the right. While the Right Spacewalk Astronaut had a great view of the Alpha Space Mountain track on the left.
And both of them had a great view of the PeopleMover beneath them.
But they had an even better view of everything when the lights turned on.
It always fascinates guests when the lights on the ever dark Space Mountain go on. But to those Astronauts stuck doing a spacewalk on the lift hill who've been there since 1975, it must get boring, surely. What's novel to the guests, they've seen a million times before.
