Fortune Red was not like most Disney Park characters.
He was outside. So he always got a good look at the people passing through New Orleans Square.
The vast majority of people, of course, ignored him.
But there were always those that didn't.
As far as he knew though, there were two other characters like him in Disneyland.
He'd never met them.
Nor would he ever.
By virtue of being a fortune teller.
He was more than happy to people watch. That provided all the entertainment he needed.
And when people actually interacted with him…
Well, that was fun too.
Fortune Red is one of three fortune tellers at Disneyland along with Esmeralda, and Shrunken Ned. He doesn't have a backstory like Shrunken Ned either, but I'm assuming it's got something to do with piracy and a curse. I don't know. It'd be cool to find out though.
