Me: Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you have a wonderful one!
Well, my right arm is sort of back to normal, but not as much. There's a limit on how long I can type and write now, so sorry. But I would like to thank all of you for supporting me and wishing me well. And don't worry, I'm virus free…minus my allergies as normal.
Well, shall we get going? I know you guys have been waiting for quite some time for this update and I hope you all enjoy it.
After Thomas finished telling the birth of Halloween, the students were separated by year. As they were heading out of the castle, Harrison and Liza appeared in the grounds. The female students started whispering and blushing.
Harrison smirked, "Starting without us?"
"Of course not, father. We're just waiting for the others," replied Thomas.
"Right. Give me a few minutes. Your mother will be guiding the young vampire students," said Harrison.
Thomas nodded and watched his parents enter the castle. Within minutes, the other professors started to show up. He placed his wand onto his throat, "Attention students! Now that everyone is here, let us discuss rules. First years to fifth years, you will be assigned to two professors to make sure you are safe – DO NOT wander off! Sixth and Seventh years, while you can be on your own, the remaining professors will keep an eye on you."
Harry could tell that Ron was mentally cursing cause he wasn't allowed to be on his own.
"You will LISTEN to your assigned professors, if you misbehave, there will be consequences either a detention, loss of house points or both. If any danger comes, no matter what, all students head inside to a nearby shop – DO NOT LEAVE until it's safe. Are we clear?"
All the students nodded.
"Good, now you're assigned professors…"
The first and second years were assigned to Professor Phoenix and surprising, Harrison, who finished upgrading the wards.
Third and fourth years were assigned to Minerva and Salazar who was dressed as a muggle officer including his wife, Bellatrix. Lastly, fifth years were assigned to Lily and Petunia.
"Aw, your little sister is adorable Harry," squealed Hermione. Ivy blushed as she was dressed in the blue uniform and wearing the yellow hat. Meanwhile, Avalon who was dressed as Wonder Woman was handing Ron the fake sword.
"But mine's the best," said Hydra before roaring at random students. Mary who was dressed as Mary Jane ran after her only child.
Serenity eye twitched, "My annoying cousin…"
"He's just a kid, leave him be," said Leonard.
"How do I look? I had to look up several books to find the right robes of Lady Hufflepuff," said Pandora.
"You look just like her," replied Hermione.
Pandora grinned before smirking at Ron, "Mummy said you have to watch over me while she and daddy watch the older students. No argument."
Ron cursed, silently as they got into the horseless carriages.
The first and second years get to go first, then the third and fourth years and lastly, the fifth years. The sixth and seventh years would be going much later in the night.
"Harry, what type of horse is pulling the carriages?" asked Ivy.
"They're Thestral," replied Harry. "You can't see them. Only those that...um...saw death can see them."
"Oh...that's sad," said Ivy.
"What if someone wants to pet them?" asked Pandora. "They need love too!"
"Don't worry, they get plenty of love. Hagrid and the vampire students make sure of it," assured Bertie. Pandora and Ivy smiled.
"So, what's the game plan?" asked Draco.
"Well, for sure we need to go to Honeydukes and Zonko's," said Leonard.
"But we don't know what they are going to give out," said Bertie.
"Well, we can all guess, but no matter what, it's free stuff we're getting," said Helena, happily. Harry and the others agreed.
-Hogsmeade-
"Oh! All of you look so adorable! Never would I thought I would be doing this 'trick-or-treat' thing," said Flume's wife. "Well, here you go, enjoy! Come again!"
Ron's eyes sparkle upon seeing the bag full of sweets. Harry and Helena shook their heads before heading over to the next shop.
"Have you noticed that the Fifth years are going to Madam Puddifoot's tea shop or Hog's Head pub?" said Leonard.
"I guess they're hoping to get a free drink or something," murmured Draco.
Hermione's eyes brighten, "Let us head to the Quill shop! Maybe Scrivenshaft's handing out free quill and stationery!"
"Sure, why not," said Harry. "Granddad, may we go to the Quill shop next?"
Harrison could see most of the second years frowned. He sighed, "Right, who wants to go to the Quill shop?" most first years raised their hands, "Zonko's Joke shop?" all the second years raised their hands. "Alright, Professor Phoenix take the second years to Zonko's while I take the first years to Scrivenshaft's Quill shop."
"I don't mind taking the first years to the Quill shop," said Phoenix.
"No, it's quite alright. Lead on," said Harrison. Phoenix nodded, slowly and guided the second years to the joke shop.
Harrison and the first years headed to the quill shop where he spotted James and Sirius who was dressed as Spiderman.
As the students were getting free quills and stationaries, Harrison walked over to them, "Go to Zonko's and inform me if you don't spot Phoenix with the second years."
James and Sirius nodded and headed towards Zonko's.
"Look grandpa! The shop man gave us Phoenix feather quills! Mine's from a Wind Phoenix!" said Ivy, happily as she holds up a light green and white feather quill.
Harrison smiled, "Well, take good care of it as it's pretty rare to find an element Phoenix who willingly hand over their feathers."
Ivy nodded and placed her new quill in a box then in her bag.
"How many elemental Phoenix are there, grandpa?" asked Pandora, looking at her bright pink Phoenix feather quill.
"There's quite a few, but they're hidden. Dark wizards want them for their tears and feathers," said Harrison. "But there's a sacred place for them which is heavily protected."
"Like the dragons! My brother Charlie works with them in Romania!" said Ron.
"Exactly. Next stop…." Harrison stopped upon seeing James' Patronus appeared in front of him. The first years were in awe upon seeing the stag as the patronus replied with a message.
"Phoenix out of sight! Phoenix out of sight!"
Harrison gritted his teeth as the stag faded away. He turned around to the first years, "Head to Zonko's and stay close."
The first years were tensed upon feeling the dark aura from Harrison but calm down when they see the joke shop. But Harry and Helena felt something was wrong.
When they reached to the joke shop, James and Sirius were with the second years who could not find Professor Phoenix.
"Grandfather, where's Professor Phoenix? He was here not too long ago," said Leonard.
Harrison shook his head, "I'm not sure. Why don't you all head to the Quill shop with James and Sirius? Stay with them until I find Professor Phoenix."
Leonard, Bertie and Serenity and the second years nodded and followed James and Sirius to the Quill shop. While Zonko was handing out free joke products, Ivy started to squirm. She pulled her brothers robes to get his attention.
"Harry…Harry!"
"What's wrong, Ivy?"
"I…I have to go," whispered Ivy.
"Alright, come on," said Harry, grabbing his sister's hand. After telling his grandfather where they were heading, he picked up his sister and dashed to the loo where Zonko pointed out.
Waiting for his sister, Harry was leaning onto the wall and looked at his bag of goodies. Sure, it was not enough, but Flume's wife did give them a lot of sweets and the quill he got was black and white. 'I wonder if there's a Shadow Phoenix,' he thought.
Suddenly, he saw something from the far corner. Harry was curious on wanting to know what it was, but he could not wander off from his group and grandfather. He knows he will be in big trouble if he does wander off without permission.
"I'm done!" said Ivy, leaving the bathroom. That is when she noticed her brother was looking at a dark corner. "What are you looking at, Harry?"
"Um – Oh! Nothing. Let's head back," said Harry, grabbing his sister's hand. As they were about to leave, the Potter's pendant started to warm up. Harry widened his eyes before pulling his sister to his chest and dropped to the ground, quickly.
Harry shielded his little sister form fallen joke products as a red spell hit a shelf nearby. The eleven-year-old was about to guide his sister out when he spotted an elderly man coming out from the back.
"Damn. And here I thought this was going to be easy – come out, Potter! If you don't…well, it wouldn't be pretty for your little bratty sister!"
"Har, I'm scared," whispered Ivy, nervously.
"Don't worry. We'll be fine," assured Harry. "Look, um…I…I'm going to distract him while you go get grandpa."
Ivy shook her head, holding to her brother's arm tightly.
"I'm going to be fine. I just need you safe," said Harry.
"And-And you?" sniffed Ivy.
Harry sighed, then took out his pendent, "See this. It will protect me. You're going to get one when you're ten."
Ivy bite her lip, "…O-Okay…"
"Good. Now listen very closely, okay?" said Harry.
Ivy nodded.
Meanwhile, Harrison, Pandora and the first years were waiting for Harry and his sister, but it was taking a bit long.
'Strange. Ivy doesn't take this long,' thought Harrison. That's when he spots Ivy running to him. "Ivy? Ivy, what happened?" he asked, seeing Ivy's costume in a mess.
"Someone a-attacked us! Har told me to come and get you," sobbed Ivy.
Harrison gritted his teeth, "Right – Zonko, keep an eye at the students!"
Zonko nodded, "At your service, Minister. Come on children, to the second floor."
Harrison watched as Ivy, Pandora, and the first years go upstairs with Zonko. Once everyone was safe, he casted a protecting charm around the store…just in case.
