Knuckles the Echidna teams up with Lucky and Niblet to find the 7 Chaos Emeralds in San Francisco from Metal Sonic. Will they successfully find them all and stop Metal Sonic?

Angel Island was floating on top of Planet Mobius as Knuckles guarded the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds on high alert. He looked around with his fists ready to hit any intruder that could be a threat. Suddenly, Metal Sonic came and hit knuckles hard in the face. Knuckles got up and saw Metal Sonic flying away. "Hey! Stop there!" Knuckles shouted. Metal Sonic had the chaos emeralds in his hands, but not the Master Emerald. A giant ring appeared and Metal Sonic went through it. "Not today you brain of bolts!" Knuckles shouted. He went through the giant ring and was instantly teleported from Planet Mobius to Earth. He woke up and looked around. He got up and put his hand on his head. "Where am I?" He thought.

He was in a large open parking lot by a mall. He looked around and began to wonder where he was, until he saw humans looking at him confused and shocked. "I must be on earth, but where?" He said. He saw a sign and read it. "Welcome to San Francisco." He said. "Well that explains where I'm at." He said. A little boy came up to him, but was pulled by his mother. "Leave the creature alone dear, he's probably an alien." She said scared. "Sorry if I look weird, but my name is Knuckles the Echidna, Guardian of the Master Emerald and last of the Echidna tribe!" He explained. The woman nodded and went into the mall with her child. "Now to find the chaos emeralds! But where?" He said to himself. He saw two dogs run down the sidewalk from an angry man. One of the dogs was a German shepherd with light purple and yellow fur, while the other was a Sheepdog with long gray fur. The angry man chased them and cornered them in an alley. "Don't you ever-." Before he could finish, knuckles shouted at him angrily with his fists balled up. The man's anger quickly turned into fear. "Wait! I wasn't gonna-." He said until knuckles grabbed his orange shirt. "Leave those dogs alone, and I won't hurt you, promise?!" Knuckles said angrily. The man nodded and was let go without getting hurt. He ran off into the distance as Knuckles looked at him running, then turned his attention to the dogs. "Did he hurt you two?" Knuckles asked politely. The dogs looked at each other and the sheepdog responded. "We are! Thanks for asking." The sheepdog said. "Niblet! Why?!" The German Shepherd said. They looked at knuckles scared. Knuckles looked shocked and surprised as he heard both dogs talk. His eyes widened. His head felt dizzy and soon fainted.

15 minutes later…

Knuckles woke up and saw him at a pound. The two dogs looked at Knuckles concerned as he woke up. He backed away from them. "Why do dogs talk? Is there a whole lot of secrets I don't know yet?!" He said scared. " Hey, settle down! Let us explain." The German Shepherd said. "My name is Lucky, and over there is Niblet and we are the pound puppies!" He explained. "So it's just you two?" Knuckles asked curiously. "Well, we have three more members, including three pups and a teenager, but they went on vacation for a few days." He said. "So, what do you do?" He asked. "Find pups their perfect person of course! We even have a moto!" Lucky said. "Once a pound puppy, always a pound puppy!" Lucky and Niblet said together. Knuckles got up and began to explain himself. "My name is Knuckles the Echidna, Guardian of the Master Emerald, and last of the Echidna tribe!" He said.

"So where are you from, and how did you get here?" Lucky asked. "Planet Mobius, and I came here for the seven legendary chaos emeralds, you see, Metal Sonic took them all and he could use them for bad stuff, such as world domination." He explained. Knuckles got on his knees. "Can you please help me find them all?" He asked in a pleading tone. Lucky and Niblet looked at each other and back at Knuckles. "Sure! We're always ready to help!" Lucky said.

Knuckles nodded his head and sighed. "We need to figure out where he is though." He asked himself. They went inside Mcleish's office and looked at his computer. "Ah ha! He's at Death Valley! But, what's Death Valley?" He asked curiously. "It's like a desert." Niblet said. "But how far is it?" He asked. He looked at the computer and typed the distance between San Francisco and Death Valley. "A long distance from here, but I can get us there." Knuckles said. He pulled out a small ring and threw it at the entrance. It became big and showed death valley. The two dogs were surprised. "Let's go!" Knuckles said. He grabbed the dogs and took them through the giant ring.

Metal Sonic scouted the surrounding area for anyone that saw him. Knuckles, Lucky, and Niblet hid behind a rock twice their size. Knuckles grabbed a small rock and threw it Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic turned towards them and blasted a laser at the big rock. "Give them back!" Knuckles demanded. The two dogs got up and ran for safety. Metal Sonic dashed towards Knuckles and hit him, but Knuckles didn't take any damage. Lucky saw the two fighting. He immediately growled and ran towards Metal Sonic. Knuckles noticed Lucky running to Metal Sonic. "Wait!" Knuckles exclaimed. Lucky was grabbed by his neck and thrown hard into the ground. Metal Sonic tried to step on Lucky's back, but was hit by Knuckles.

Niblet saw the chaos emeralds on the floor and alerted Knuckles. Knuckles grabbed the emeralds and ran away from Metal Sonic, who was standing still.

"I guess it's time!" Knuckles said. Knuckles stopped and put the emeralds on the ground. Lucky and Niblet ran towards Knuckles and closed their eyes. The chaos emeralds began to glow and circle around them. Metal Sonic stood still until Knuckles transformed into Hyper Knuckles. The dogs also transformed, but Niblet began to transform into Super Niblet with yellow fur, and Lucky began to transform into Miracle Lucky with his magenta fur, despite not having the Miracle Stones. Knuckles glew Pink with red pupils, Niblet glew Yellow with red pupils, and Lucky glew magenta with light green pupils.

Metal Sonic dashed towards them but Knuckles hit him with a lot of force. It was a 3 vs 1 battle. Knuckles and Lucky hit Metal Sonic multiple times, while Niblet waited for the perfect hit. Metal Sonic dashed towards Niblet, who dashed towards Metal Sonic. The two collided and tried to see who was going to get hit first. Niblet hit Metal Sonic first and kicked him into the air. Lucky kicked Metal Sonic into the ground hard. Knuckles grabbed out a giant ring out of a small brown bag. "See you soon on Planet Mobius!" Knuckles said menacingly. He threw the giant ring under Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic immediately fell through it. Knuckles sighed, turned to the dogs, and hugged them. "If you need me, use this." He said as he gave Lucky a small brown bag. Knuckles waved goodbye and went back to Planet Mobius by the giant ring. The giant ring disappeared as soon as Knuckles left. Lucky looked in the bag and saw a lot of small portal rings in it. The two dogs went into the air and flew back to San Francisco. They were excited to tell their friends the good news.
