To celebrate Overlord season 4 being out, I figured it was the perfect time to put this out.
I've been planning this crossover for a while now, so here's the first chapter.
Also I'm very sorry it's been a while. I intended on publishing this story in Maay or April, but I was very busy. But as usual….

"Hmm. It's been so long."
Stated a skeleton Overlord, who was sitting on his throne while dawning his black robe. The throne that was apart of the city of E-Rantel. Which he had conquered recently in a war, making it apart of the Sorcerer Kingdom.
Soon, he would take over all of the Kingdom of Re-Estize.
This was Ainz Oal Gown, I'm sure many of you know him as the Overlord. The most powerful being in his world, a world that he came to live in.
Ainz was the king and ruler of the Tomb of Nazarick. He had many subordinates, many followers and an army of many. He had so much power and many tactics.
But……he wasn't always this way.
The Ainz Oal Gown in the real world was a nobody. Someone who spent so much of his life playing YGGDRASIL.
What was YGGDRASIL? It was a very popular DMMO-RPG, which stood for dive massively multiplayer online role playing game (Where do they come up with this stuff?).
The Ainz in the real world spent a lot of his life playing YGGDRASIL, being apart of a guild with his friends. Grinding and having so many great memories, playing the game and becoming so powerful in game.
But….unfortunately, like many games. People move on. YGGDRASIL eventually lost a lot of its player base, so the developers announced that it would be shutting down.
This disappointed Ainz at first. He had spent so much of his life playing YGGDRASIL, and now all that was going to be gone?
So at night, he sat on his throne in the Tomb of Nazarick. Waiting for the clock to strike midnight, spending his last few moments in the game.
But then, something happened. The game didn't shut down. Ainz was in the game! He became his character, the Overlord named Momon, became Ainz Oal Gown.
It was like he was in a whole new world, all of his subordinates abs floor guardians followed their lord.
As well as the Succubus, Albedo. His most powerful floor guardian who had deep love for the Overlord. She would always show it too.
Ainz had begun his plan of taking over the world, and it was very successful so far. He had gained the trust of many through his disguise and planning.
Now he had control over the Kingdom of Re-Estize, and more power to add to it.
But for many months, Ainz had been devising another plan. A plan to take over another location, the Smash Mansion.
The Smash Mansion, home if some of the most powerful fighters in existence and Super Smash Bros.
Ainz figured that conquering a location such as that would give him more power.
However, due to complications, he was unable to advance further in his plan. In their years of 2021, he had sent his floor guardians undercover to gather information on the fighters.
He had plans to take it over in the beginning of their next year, which was 2022. But as stated before, he was busy taking over the world of YGGDRASIL.
But now it was time, time to unleash an attack upon the manor. Send them a message, begin a conflict.
"Alright, it is time to begin our next operation." Ainz stated as he pulled up a screen and scrolled through it, holding his staff in the other hand.
"Lord Ainz, will this be a continuation of the plan we started a while ago?" Albedo asked, as she was standing next to his throne.
"It will, we will make sure to send the message to their manor. And their master will know what the power of Ainz Oal Gown's floor guardians is capable of!" Ainz exclaimed as he stood up, turning to his battle maids, the Pleiades. All of them standing in a line. "I request that you bring me Cocytus, I will have him lead the army."
"Yes Lord Ainz." They nodded as they left the room to find the Vermin Lord.
"We will show them our power, they will know the name of Ainz Oal Gown." Ainz then sat back onto his throne, awaiting Cocytus' arrival.
"Damn! This is so crazy I don't even know if it's possible!" Ainz thought to himself, his inner human voice in his head. "I mean, Cocytus easily isn't enough. So using him as a warning is probably the best option."
"Ohhh!" Albedo thought as she was blushing red while grinning. "My lord is so amazing!"

Meanwhile…..the Smash Mansion….
"Man. I a don't want to do anything a today." Mario yawned as he was lying on the couch in the gaming room. Watching re-runs of Family Guy.
"Hehehe. Hey Lois, look. I set a house on fire. Ehehehehehe." Said the TV as a scene of Peter Griffin was shown.
"Hehe. I did a that once, tried a making pizza. I failed." Mario let out a slight chuckle, continuing to laze around and watch Family Guy.
Bowser then walked up to the couch, looking down at Mario. "Okay plumber boy, get up. It's my time to watch TV."
"As if a Bowser. I ain't a getting off of this couch for anything." Mario stuck his tongue out, refusing to move off of the couch.
Bowser immediately picked up Mario, throwing him against the wall and immediately taking a spot on the couch.
"Oh yes you are! It's my TV time!" Bowser grabbed the remote and turned the channel, as an episode of Overlord was airing on an anime channel. "Ahh. Finally, get to watch my Overlord."
"What?!" Mario asked as he ran and jumped on the couch. "Since a when do you watch anime a Bowser? I thought a you hated anime!"
"I do! Anime is stupid! But this show is cool." Bowser pointed to the TV. Where a scene of Cocytus fighting lizard people in season 2 was showing. "The main character's a bad guy! How cool is that?"
"Ugh. Of a course you like an isekai anime." Mario rolled his eyes and slumped on the couch. "First a those Konosuba freaks….now a this crap."
"Not a fan of Isekai anime?" Twilight Link asked as he was carrying a box.
"No! They're a all the same!" Mario sat straight up. "Some loser gets hit by a truck and then gets transported to some fantasy world! Where he has to a kill some mega demon king with a harems and lolis! They're a all the same…."
"Overlord's more different than other Isekai." Dark Pit leaned against the arm chair. "If you actually watched it you'd know."
"What? You a like it too Dark Pit? Man." Mario put his hand to his forehead and shook it. "I just a keep losing respect for a people today."
"Link! Stop being distracted!" Chrom called out. "We have boxes to carry!"
"Oh! Right, my bad!" Link ran to the other side of the room.
"What are the a boxes for?" Mario asked.
"You didn't know? Lucina and Inigo are moving out." Dark Pit started texting on his phone. "They've got a kid coming so they figured that they'd need more space."
"WHAT?!" Mario jumped up and stood on the couch. "You a mean to tell me that they're a leaving?! Forever?!"
"Chill out Mario, their house is gonna be right next to the Mansion. They aren't leaving Smash or anything." Ike stated as he was carrying a couple swords on his back.
That eased Mario, as he sat back down on the couch. "Oh, that's a good."
"I'm surprised you didn't know Mario." Marth joined the group as he had boxes of his own to carry. "You are the man of the mansion after all."
"Well I was a busy!" Mario used an excuse. "Busy a with saving the princess and all that a jazz!"
Everyone just stared at him, in complete disbelief. Nobody believed him.
"You know me Mario, I haven't kidnapped Peach in a while." Bowser took out a can of Pepsi, cracking it open. "Been too busy doing other things, like being a father."
"Admit that you just forgot." Dark Pit smirked at the plumber who grit his teeth.
"Whatever! So what I forgot that a some people are a moving out?!" Mario asked. "It's a none of my business! Ima just gonna sit down and watch a some TV! With a Bowser!"
So the plumber plumped back onto the couch cushion, watching the episode of Overlord with Bowser. "Hey, this looks a pretty cool."
"Told you so." Bowser took a sip from his Pepsi,
"Hey guys! Check this out!"
The two turned to see someone pop out from the side of the couch. Wearing Majora's Mask.
"AHHHHH LOSER FROM THE SOCCER GAME!"
The two were then reminded of Stan from the Mario Strikers story. Both Bowser and Mario have horrified expressions and let out huge screams, as a the sound of a picture being taken was heard and a flash for in their eyes. Causing the archenemies to turn and look at where both came from.
It was Ren and Ryuji, the latter had his phone out. Immediately texting afterwards.
"I'm so uploading this!" Ryuji grinned as he continued typing away.
"Hey! Don't a you dare post that on a social media!" Mario pointed at the two, who immediately ran away. The plumber groaned and shook his head.
"Sorry guys! Didn't mean to scare you!" Pit laughed as he took off Majora's Mask, revealing that he was the one who wore the mask.
"Pit! Why a would you scare us?!" Mario asked.
"Yeah! I'm in the middle of my favorite show!" Bowser breathed fire towards the ceiling, slightly frightening the angel.
"Well I just wanted to show off this cool replica of Majora's Mask I found!" Pit showed it off. "It's just like that weirdo's mask and Skull Kid's!"
"Can I just ask how everyone has my mask?" Skull Kid popped out from the ceiling. "Even that blond girl who's all about heroics has it!"
SHH SHH THAT'S FOR ANOTHER DAY
"Oh a really Pit? Let me see a that mask." Mario took the mask from Pit, looking at it for a few seconds.
Before throwing it right out of the window, causing the glass to break.
"Nice mask." Mario kicked back on the couch while putting his hands behind his back.
Pit was absolutely shocked that Mario did that, which caused him to jump out of the window and go after the mask.
"I'm coming for you Majory!" Pit yelled as he descended towards the ground.
"Majory? He named it?" Ike let out a small laugh, turning to Dark Pit.
"We're not related." The dark Angel responded, walking away.
"Come on Ike, we've gotta keep bringing boxes." Marth told his friend as he made his way forward.
"Yeah, sure thing Marth." Ike nodded as he followed the King of Altea.
"Finally. Back to my show." Bowser resumed watching his episode of Overlord. As Mario pointed to the screen.
"Heh. Wouldn't it be a kinda funny if we got invaded by a that guy?" Mario asked as he was pointing to Cocytus. One of Aiz's floor guardians.
"Yeah, but he ain't got anything on my army or me." Bowser pointed to himself. "Nope, he's got nothing."
Meanwhile….in E-Rantel…..Sorcerer Kingdom..
"Cocytus." Ainz spoke to his floor guardian, who kneeled before him. While Albedo accompanied him. While Demiurge was beside the sorcerer king. "I have an assignment for you."
"Yes Lord Ainz! I will do whatever it is you ask of me!" Cocytus stared a dream came out of his mouth.
"Good, I believe you remember when I had sent you to occupy the lizardmen some time ago?" Ainz asked his floor guardian, moving his fingers on one of the throne arms. "How we were able to bring them to our army?"
"Yes my lord, I remember." Cocytus nodded once.
"Well, now I have a task similar to that. But this is apart of a different plan." Ainz said. "I will send you to the Smash Mansion. A location that I have means of taking over, many powerful warriors reside there and even gods. I have no intention of taking it over just yet, I wish to send you as a warning. If they do not reside with the Sorcerer Kingdom, we will take their warriors and land by force."
"I see. But may I ask a question Lord Ainz?" Cocytus looked up.
"You should not ask so bluntly of our great master Ainz, Cocytus." Albedo scolded as she had a stern expression on her face. "Only—"
"Albedo, it's fine." Ainz put his hand out as the succubus nodded and stated in her position. "You may share your question with me."
"Why take over this location my lord? Sending me to give them a warning may be just enough to take it over." Cocytus explained. "With your power, you could easily take control of it by lifting a finger!"
"Our lord wishes to gain control of the many powerful beings there." Demiurge stepped forward. "Lord Ainz knows that this will further his plan to take over the entire world, all under his rule. This plan will further advance the other operation he has in motion, which will set off his ultimate goal."
"Exactly." Ainz nodded.
"In fact, it is clear that Lord Ainz knew what he was doing the entire time, the delay in this plan was all a part of our lord's plan." Demiurge adjusted his glasses. "I wish not to be rude, but am I correct Lord Ainz?"
"Why…yes you are correct Demiurge. I am glad that you remember the plan." Ainz stated, immediately thinking to himself. "What plan was that again?!" It was clear that he had no clue exactly what plan Demiurge was talking about. Aside from world domination and taking over the Smash Mansion. "I am glad you recall it."
"Of course my lord." Demiurge smiled.
"From that one time."
"Yes. No time like any other."
"WHAT TIME?!" Ainz's inner voice said in his head.
"Now then, do you understand Cocytus?" Ainz asked. "You are to send the warning to the manor, and attack."
"Yes my lord, I completely understand." Cocytus stood up, picking up his axe. "I am at your command."
"Very well, I will also send an army with you. I believe about 500 death knights will do?" Ainz asked, standing up himself and picking up his staff.
"Should we have the Baharuth Empire help in this plan?" Ainz thought to himself. "No, their power isn't necessary at the moment. We should just use the power that the Sorcerer Kingdom has. The empire might not even be of much use. Even with El-Nix's offer for it to become a vassal kingdom."
"If I have Cocytus send a warning to the Mansion, then I can focus on recruiting adventurers in order to explore unknown areas. And it's also a good idea because of my battle with the Warrior King in the colosseum, and while I am leaving for the Dwarven Kingdom with Aura and Shalltear. We have more room for another plan." Ainz thought again. "It's sounds full proof."
"That is too much my lord. I do not deserve such kindness and generosity." Cocytus stated.
"No, I insist that I send an army with you. Even if we know everything about each warrior there, we must not take risks." Ainz held up his staff, slamming it into the ground. "Now go! Show them the power of the sorcerer kingdom! The power of Ainz Oal Gown!!"
Later in the Smash Manor……
It was now dinner time in the mansion, many were in the cafeteria. Eating their dinner and chatting with friends.
"And then….then that Cocytus dude killed all those lizard dudes!" Bowser exclaimed as he was at a table with other villains who lived in the manor. "Then that Ainz guy revived them to make them work for him! It's awesome!"
"For a the love of Masahiro Sakurai, nobody cares!" Wario rolled his eyes as he was engulfing his chicken and counting money. "It's just a stupid Japanese cartoon!"
"Careful Wario, there could be anime fans nearby." Dark Pit shushed the fat game maker as he looked around everywhere.
"Bowser, the fact that you even watch anime, let alone Isekai, shows that you are a man-child." Wolf then scratched his head. "Or man-turtle, man-dragon-turtle? I don't know."
"Oh come on guys it's 2022!" Bowser threw his hands on the table. "You can't judge me!"
"Yes we can." They all said.
"Well I don't care! I watch Overlord and I don't care what any of you think!" Bowser then pointed to himself. "You're all just jealous that I'm the best villain here!"
"What?!" Eggman exclaimed as he slammed his dish down. "How dare you?"
"What Dr. Egg shape? Think you're better than me?" Bowser put his foot on the table, glaring the genius down. "I've kidnapped princesses and have my own kingdom! All you do is make your stupid robots and try and beat a stupid hedgehog!"
"At least Eggman is smart, even though I hate admitting it." Wolf rolled his eyes. "What makes you think you're any better than any of us? I'm a professional bounty hunter."
"I'm filthy rich!" Wario exclaimed.
"I've literally taken over kingdoms and challenged the gods themselves." Ganandorf stated with a drink of his milk.
"I second that." Gerudo Ganon raised his hand.
"I'm king of a whole kingdom! And I've helped out Kirby a few times!" Dedede scarfed down some chicken.
"Why is he even at this table?" Dark Pit whispered to Meta Knight.
The star warrior shrugged. "There is not exactly a place for us anti heroes."
"I became GOD!" Marx let out a psychotic laugh.
"I've built multiple robot masters!" Dr. Wily grinned, eating a grilled cheese sandwich.
"I almost destroyed the entire planet." Sephiroth floated above the others. "Do we really need to continue this?"
Everyone was silent as they stared up at the one winged angel, who put his hand up into the air.
"I steal the Kong's bananas!" King K Rool stood proudly, acting like he was the most evil of them all. Only to receive looks from his comrades. "What?"
"Pathetic." Sephiroth floated back down and went back to eating his dinner.
"What did you do Ridely?" The Kremling king turned to the space pirate.
Who let out monster noises and roars, couldn't speak English.
"What's he saying?" Gerudo Ganon asked.
"He's saying "I killed Samus' parents when she was three years old. And stole a baby Metroid"." Kazuya explained as he was cutting his chicken with a knife.
Everyone's eyes widened, all staring at Ridely.
"Rgha?" Ridley asked.
"He said 'You guys literally didn't know that? We've known each other since 2018'." Kazuya translated.
"Well it doesn't matter what any of you have done! Cause I'll always be the original video game bad guy!" Bowser laughed. "I guarantee that if I were to fight with that skeleton guy Ainz, I'd totally beat him!"
"If you really think that, you officially have no brain cells." Mewtwo thought to himself. "Ainz could probably wipe us all out." He said out load.
"Nah! He'd bow down to the Koopa King!" Bowser raised his fist. "Ainz ain't got nothing on me!"
Outside of the Smash Mansion, far away….
"Alright Lord Ainz, the death knights are lined up." Cocytus spoke into a blue portal, which appeared by using a message scroll. "All of them are ready, and I am ready as well."
"Excellent Cocytus, and I presume that you used the enchantments I gave you?" Ainz asked.
"Of course! These weaklings do not stand a chance!" Cocytus raised his axe, ready to do battle.
"Do not underestimate them Cocytus, they have gods on their side." Ainz warned the armored insect.
"Understood Lord Ainz. I will give them the warning." Cocytus tightened the grip on his axe.
"Good luck Cocytus, though I doubt you will need it with your power."
The message ended as the blue portal went away.
"Alright, march death knights!" Cocytus pointed his axe towards the Smash Mansion. "We will show these warriors a battle, one that they will struggle with. Let us go!"
After dinner……
"Alright! Time to watch that new episode of Overlord 4!" Bowser used the TV remote to pull up Crunchyroll, in order to watch the newest episode.
"Weren't you on season 2 of this show earlier?" Byleth asked as he walked into the room, seeing what Bowser was doing.
"I'll have you know I was rewatching an episode!" Bowser pointed at the professor. "Why do you care?"
"I don't." Byleth shook his head. "I was just asking a question."
"Byleth's right, and shouldn't you be watching your family?" Roy asked as the red Lion joined in on the conversation.
"Says you two!" Bowser stood up. "Why don't I ever see you with your hot green haired mom Roy?" He pointed at the red haired wielder of the binding blade, pointing to Byleth next. "And you Byleth! Don't you have a kingdom and a wife?! Why aren't you back in Fodle Land?"
"Fodlan." Byleth corrected the Koopa King. "And Bernadetta is fine, I have many people there who are helping her. I do have to battle here."
"Yeah! You can't handle being king of anything! Unlike me or Ainz!" Bowser put his hands to his hips, a grin on his face.
"Being king of a real kingdom is better than a fictional character being powerful in a fictional kingdom." Byleth put his hand up.
As he slowly turned to the fourth wall, staring deep at it. "Yeah." Before he turned back around.
"In Bowser's defense, we are all fictional." Ryu crossed his arms.
"Get out of here Ryu! Go back to Street Fighter 6!" Falxo exclaimed as he threw a plastic cup at the warrior.
That's when everyone started making fun of Ryu, making jokes about his upcoming game and the look of it.
The screen turned grey and Quiet's theme from MGSV played.
"Why am I still here?" Ryu thought to himself, a tear running down his cheek. "Just to suffer?"
The warrior then slowly left the room, as people continued laughing at him. Hopefully Ken could cheer his best friend up.
"AHAHAHAhahahaha ah." Bowser wiped a tear of joy from his eye. "That was funny, now it's time for Overlord."
Bowser pushed play on the remote, but a green and scaly hand grabbed the remote.
"Heck no! It's time for me to watch Crocodile Hunter!" King K Rool exclaimed as he began pulling on the remote.
"Fat chance gold gut! It's my TV time!" Bowser grit his teeth as he was tugging the remote.
"It's actually mine! I wanna watch Shark Tank!" Wario joined in on the fight, pulling on the remote with the others.
"It's actually my turn to watch the Mandalorian." Wolf joined in.
Soon all of the villains were pulling on the remote, all wanting to watch their TV show off TV movie.
Eggman wanted to watch BattleBots, Meta Knight wanted to watch Game of Thrones, and Dark Pit wanted to watch Lucifer.
It's pretty funny that none of them took a second to remember that the Mansion has multiple TV's.
Ganondorf and Sephiroth just watched them all fight for the remote, not wanting to join in on the idiotic struggle.
"Should we do something?" Ganondorf asked the one winged angel.
"I'll pass." Sephiroth out his hand up.
At some point, King Dedede came into the room. Jumping into the group and grabbing the remote.
"Gimme the remote! I wanna watch the Twilight marathon!" The king exclaimed.
Suddenly everybody stopped, all of them stared at King Dedede.
They were all seriously judging the penguin, even someone like Dedede had to have standards.
Right?
"Uhhhh I mean the cooking channel yeah!" King Dedede put a finger up as he began sweating nervously. "Totally gonna check out some…barbecued….spicy wings….and all that."
The villains continued to just stare at him, until they went back to fighting over the remote.
"GIVE IT TO ME!"
"IT'S MINE!!"
"I WANT IT!!"
That's when Ganandorf had enough, so he transformed into Dark Beast Ganon.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTHS YOU IDIOTS!" Ganondorf yelled as everyone looked up at him, as they stopped fighting over the remote. "Have you morons seriously stopped to think about what you're fighting over?! A stupid TV remote!"
"You all realize that there's other stupid TV's in this house, right?" Gerudo Ganon asked as he joined his Twilight Princess counterpart.
Then suddenly, something hit.
An arrow came right through the window, hitting the carpet.
Everyone stopped as they looked at the arrow, it came out of nowhere. Which started to worry many of the residents in the game room.
"Uhhhhhh, where did that arrow come from Dedede asked as he made his way to the arrow, picking it up. "Is the chef from that restaurant back?! Hide me!!"
"Dedede relax. We took care of that chef, remember?" Wolf asked as he made his way to a nearby closet.
Opening it revealed a chef that was tied to the door, with tape on his mouth as he looked terrified.
"Right buddy?" Wolf asked the chef, who let out muffled screams in response. With Wolf slamming the door afterwards.
"Focus everybody, this arrow has come out of nowhere." Meta Knight inspected the arrow that Dedede was holding. "It is not normal for an arrow to just fly through the window like this."
"Uhhhhh guys?" Pit asked as he was looking outside of the window, wide eyed and an open mouth. "Did the weatherman say that it would be dark and cloudy today?"
"What are you talking about Pit Stain?" Dark Pit asked as he walked to the window. As soon as he looked outside, his eyes widened. "Oh my god…"
The sky was covered in black, it was almost as if a huge swarm of insects was flying in the sky. As they began descending towards the Mansion.
But those aren't clouds, nor were they insects.
Looking closer, they were arrows. Hundreds, if not thousands of them falling towards the Smash Mansion.
Mario joined the two angels in front of the window. He gained the same expression as they had, but with his jaw dropping to the floor.
"MAMA MIA!! RAINING A ARROWS!!" Mario put his hands to his head, with his eyes popping right out of his sockets. "Everybody a get down!"
Many of the residents jumped behind the sofas or got away from the windows, with Master Hand teleporting into the game room.
"All of you take cover! I'll create a barrier." Master Hand clenched his fist, with him glowing purple.
A large purple shield was suddenly put around the mansion, as the arrows began hitting the barrier.
The arrows were hurting the shield like heavy drops of rain, but they bounced off of the barrier again and again. With other arrows just hitting the ground or the sides of the mansion.
"WHEN WILL IT STOP?!" Pit exclaimed as he was behind the couch, with his hands over his ears and his eyes closed.
The arrows kept hitting, it took a good forty seconds for the rain to completely stop.
As soon as they stopped, Master Hand put the barrier down.
"Alright everyone, we are all safe." The giant hand sighed as everyone came out from where they were hiding, all of the residents letting out sighs of relief.
"Thank a goodness. That was a close." Mario wiped sweat from his forehead.
"Where the hell did all those arrows come from?" Captain Falcon asked as he looked down at all the arrows. "That clearly wasn't normal! That wasn't normal right guys?"
Master Hand nodded. "It must have been an attack. Is there any army standing out there? Any enemies?"
Toon Link hopped up on a chair after he put it in front of the window. He took his telescope out and looked to see if anything was afar.
His eye widened when he saw something in the distance.
"Oh no." The cartoony hero said as he put the telescope down, with Bowser walking to the hero.
"Oh no what? Gimme that!" Bowser swiped the telescope away from Toon Link shoved him to the side.
The Koopa King looked through the telescope and looked off into the distance.
He saw a huge army of undead warriors. Mainly large and dark skeleton warriors in heavy black armor, as well as multiple undead monsters that carried bows.
Leading the undead army was a large armored figure. With light blue armor, an insect like head, four arms, and a tail with spikes of ice. Holding an axe in one of his hands.
"Holy moly, it's Cocytus!" Bowser exclaimed as he couldn't quite believe what he was seeing. "One of Ainz's floor guardians! He's real?"
"What a?" Mario stood next to Bowser. "From a that stupid Overlord a show?"
"Well we did have those Konosuba freaks here that one time." Dark Pit pointed out.
"Eh whatever." Bowser tossed the telescope aside. "He ain't gonna do anything."
"Bowser are you stupid or what?" Wolf asked as he pointed out to the army coming towards the Smash Mansion. "That guys got an army! He's gonna totally wreck the mansion."
"Nah, Cocytus is pretty strong but he ain't got nothing on me." Bowser pointed to himself.
"Now's not really the time to flex your ego." Samus said while in her power armor.
"Samus is right, Bowser." Master Hand floated to the turtle dragon. "Do you know anything about this Cocytus? If so, tell us."
"I ain't no nerd but sure. Cocytus is basically a floor guardian, he works for this Ainz Oal Gown guy. Some loser who got transported into a video game and became a super powerful overlord." Bowser explained, putting in glasses and reading from a piece of paper. "Cocytus is pretty strong and is basically some insect with a warrior's spirit. He was created by one of Ainz's friends before he got transported, his name was Warrior Takemikazuchi. That army he's got there is a bunch of death knights, pretty strong undead warriors that are heavily used by Ainz. Mainly because he controls a lot of monsters, like me."
Bowser looked up at from his paper, throwing it behind him. "And that's pretty much it."
Everyone just stared at him, completely baffled by all of the knowledge that he just spat. With the Koopa King looking left and right.
"What?" He asked.
"Did you look up all of that on Wikipedia?" Ganandorf asked as he stared at Bowser.
"What? No way, I'm too good for Wikipedia!" Bowser gave a smug grin while crossing his arms, with someone tapping on his shoulder.
Someone wearing a costume of Pandora's Actor was holding a sign that said "A lot of info on that paper was copied Wikipedia".
Bowser breathed fire on the sign, as the guy in the Pandora's Actor costume ran away in fear.
"It seems that we have to devise a plan to stop Cocytus and his army." Master Hand took out a list of papers and began looking through them.
"I don't think that's possible sir." Isabelle looked out at the army. "They'll be here in a very short amount of time. By the time we've come up with a plan, they'll be at the Mansion."
Master Hand looked out at the army, putting his papers away and throwing his glasses out the window.
"Well then, I suppose that's out of the question." The hand stated.
"Why don't we ask Bowser?" Roy pointed to the Koopa King, who gawked in response. "It looks like he knows a lot about this Cocytus guy and stuff about Overlord. So maybe he could do something?"
"Wha? Hey! I didn't agree to this!" Bowser shook his head.
"Come to a think of it." Mario put his hand on his lip. "Bowser a sounds perfect for a dealing with that insect a guy! What do you all a think?"
"I agree." Gerudo Ganon raised his hand.
"I second that." Ganondorf raised his hand as well, having turned back to normal.
"Me a too." Mario did the same as the other two.
Soon enough, everyone in the room was raising their hands. Pretty much everyone thought that having Bowser deal with the army was a good idea.
But Bowser didn't, or rather he didn't care.
"Bah! I don't feel like dealing with this!" Bowser began to sit on the couch, holding the remote. "I'm just gonna sit here and watch Overlord! I don't care about actually dealing with in real life! I'm gonna just sit here and let all of you do the work!"
Bowser pressed the play button on the remote, but it didn't work. He pressed it again, it didn't work. No matter how many times he tried to start the episode, the screen remained black.
"Huh? Why isn't it working?" Bowser put the remote down and walked to the TV.
When the Koopa King got the back of the TV, he gasped.
Many of the arrows from the attack had went right through the TV, causing it to be damaged and broken.
Guess that barrier wasn't protective enough.
Now Bowser couldn't watch his show, thanks to the attack from the undead army.
This, greatly angered the Koopa King.
"Are you kidding me?! I can't even watch my show now?! Oh that is it!" Bowser stomped to the couch and pulled out a bazooka, breathing fire and calling someone on his phone next.
"Yes your highness?" Asked the person on the line.
"Kamek! I want my entire army at the Smash Mansion, right now!" Bowser yelled into the phone.
"Yes your highness! But what for?" Kamek asked as he took out his wand.
"Some armored dude and his whole army ruined my TV time! So I'm gonna give them a taste of their own medicine!" Bowser began loading up his bazooka with spike balls, probably bombs. "I want that army here in less than five minutes, you here me?!"
"Y-yes my liege! I'm right on it!"
Bowser put his phone away and made his way to the door, as some were slightly afraid of Bowser's anger.
The Koopa King then turned to the room. "Villains! You're all coming with me! If I'm dealing with this dude then all of you have to as well!"
"Pfft, or what?" Dedede asked with an eyebrow raise.
Suddenly Bowser towered over the penguin, as a giant flaming demon with flaming eyes. Causing Dedede to shake in fear and sweat.
"Uhhhh yeah definitely! You got it big B! Hehe." The King of Dreamland let out a nervous laugh as he side eyed the other villains, who all nodded.
"I'll go activate some robots." Dr Eggman took out a tablet and began typing on it. "Surely they'l be of use!"
"You do that Eggman, meanwhile the rest of us are going to get ready." Bowser walked out of the room with the other villains following him. "Anyone else joining us?" He turned around one last time.
"Robin's a tactician!" Nowi exclaimed as she pointed to her husband, who did a spit take with his drink. "He's the bestest tactician ever so he's perfect!"
"N-Nowi….I don't think that's a good idea." Robin whispered to the manakete, shaking his hands.
King K Rool grabbed the tactician by his cloak, holding him up.
"You're coming with us boyo!" King K Rool proudly walked out of the room, Robin letting out a sigh.
The others watched all of the villains leave, with Palutena teleporting into the room. With a bucket of popcorn in her hands.
"Couldn't you just wipe out that army?" Master Hand asked the goddess.
"Yes, but I want to see this fight. It's gonna be good." Palutena smiled as she grabbed a handful of popcorn.
5 minutes later…..
Bowser and the villains all stood in front of the Mansion, all had their weapons ready and powers ready.
While they were waiting, Wolf turned to Bowser. Who had his bazooka ready to fire.
"So when's that magic guy of yours getting here?" The mercenary asked as he had his gun out, while all of Star Wolf was standing by him.
"Any second now." Bowser glanced at his watch.
That's when a Koopa in a blue robe and a blue hat flew by on a broom.
"Lord Bowser! Your army is here!" Kamek took out his wand, whirling it around it and pointing it towards the ground.
Suddenly, a whole army of Mario enemies appeared. Koopa Troopas, Goombas, Hammer Bros, Chain Chomps, you name it!
All were lined up and ready.
But as soon as they saw the undead army, they were immediately terrified by the horror of the death knights.
"This army is getting close." Mewtwo stated, getting ready to use his psychic powers.
"Where is Dr. Eggman with his robots?" Meta Knight asked.
"Hohohoho!"
Everyone heard an iconic laugh and turned to the Mansion. As Dr. Eggman came out in his eggmobile.
"Did anybody call for a robot army?" Eggman asked with a finger snap, as the ground started shaking.
The robots were coming out of the ground or coming out of parts of the Smash Mansion. Some even came right out of the trees planted near the Manor.
"What the?!" K Rool asked as the robots lined up near Bowser's army.
Eggman parked his eggmobile near the others, as two robotic arms came out of the sides.
"How long have those robots been kept hidden?" Ganondorf asked the scientist.
"Quite some time, I was waiting for the perfect time to use them!" Eggman smiled as he put a finger up.
"You never cease to amaze me Doctor." Bowser grinned, gripping his bazooka tightly.
Dr. Wily was ready in his Wily Capsule, summoning some of his robot masters. He glanced over at Sephiroth, who was leaning against the mansion.
"Sephiroth, are you going to help us?" He asked.
"I have no interest, their army is surely weak." Sephiroth returned a smile to the other villains. "But I do not see much hope in our army either."
"If their army's so weak, why not help us?" Wario asked, riding on his bike and having transformed into his alter ego. Wario-Man.
"I do not feel it necessary to just do the work for you all." Sephiroth admitted as he stabbed Musame into the ground, putting his hands on it. "Besides, the author would cut this chapter down if that were the case."
"Hey! Shut it!" Bowser yelled, he's here."
Cocytus stopped, as did the rest of the army of death knights. Looking a bit closer, there were some trolls in the army as well.
He stood about 250 feet away from the Smash Mansion, as he stabbed the end of his axe into the ground.
"Warriors of this location, I have no doubt that you are all powerful. I respect strong warriors." Cocytus spoke. "I have come to challenge you in a test if strength, to give you a battle of nights and strength."
The group just stood there, until Bowser stepped forward.
"Hah! Strength huh?" Bowser asked. "Well we've got a bunch of that! I'll have you know that I'm King Bowser! We'll take you on and win! Bug!"
The Koopa King pointed his bazooka at the floor guardian.
Cocytus nodded. "You have confidence, and the heart of a warrior. I respect you all for that." The warrior then held up his axe, pointing it at the villains. "But that confidence may blind you from victory! I have come here by the order of the Supreme One, Lord Ainz Oal Gown of the Sorcerer Kingdom!"
"So….that skeleton overlord guy is real?" Ganandorf asked as he and the other villains were looking at each other. "There is no way."
"I guess he's real." Wolf shrugged.
"If we act stupid, we may all be screwed." Mewtwo thought to himself.
"Now then, all of you may come at me! I will test your night and prove if you are strong!" Cocytus exclaimed. "Death knights, attack!"
"Oh we'll show you who's strong!" Bowser pointed his finger out. "Let's get him guys!"
Then both sides, began to clash.
Inside the mansion…..
Everyone was witnessing the battle from a few screens in the mansion and through the windows.
They saw how the death knights were kicking some of the enemies asses, but some and the trolls were also getting destroyed by the villains.
Both sides were putting up one hell of a fight.
"Think any of them have a chance against a Cocytus?" Mario asked Master Hand as he saw Cocytus slashing weak monsters on the screen.
"I don't know if any of them have what it takes." Master Hand admitted. "But I believe that Sephiroth and Mewtwo can put a dent in their forces."
"Yeah but you've gotta remember, Ainz is freaking OP." Travis admitted as he walked next to the two. "This army is barely even close to how much he has!"
"What does a this fight mean for the future?" Mario asked, this greatly concerned him.
"I……I have no idea Mario. But I think we'll be safe. Even if this Ainz Oal Gown is powerful." Master Hand tried to be confident, but he was very doubtful.
"Master Hand."
The three turned around to see Corrin, who stood with his daughter behind him.
"Yeah Corrin? What's up?" Travis asked putting his hands to his hips.
"I…..what exactly are we dealing with? I trust you all, but how great is the force?" Corrin stated into their eyes.
"We don't a know Corrin. This is a tough a situation we're all a in." Mario shook his head. "But we'll a be fi—"
"Can you really confirm that? That everyone will be fine?" Corrin asked. "Because I had an idea in mind."
"Speak."
"If this ever becomes a war, I will aid you the power of Valla." Corrin bowed. "My kingdom is powerful enough and it would greatly benefit the Manor. And if I can…..I could ask my older brothers for assistance in their kingdoms too."
"What?! Corrin a! You don't a have to! We shouldn't a trouble your a brothers!" Mario moved his hands all over the place and shook his head rapidly.
"No. This place also feels like home to me." Corrin gave a smile. "You all feel like family to me too, and I have to thank everything you've done for me. And for everything you've done for Camilla and Kana."
"Yeah! Thank you nice giant hand!" Kana hopped once and grinned.
Master Hand gave a nod. "Thank you Corrin, we do not wish to involve your world in the Mansion's afars. But if you wish, then we would love to have your kingdom and your brothers kingdoms at our sides."
"Of course. I'm sure Ryoma and Xander wouldn't mind assisting." Corrin put his hands together. "We—"
"Everyone shut up! Look at the screen!" Goemon yelled as the ninja hopped on a table while pointing to the screens.
Everyone turned their attention to the screens.
The villains were losing badly, many members of Bowser's army and Eggman's robots were defeated. Barely any death knights were defeated but a good amount of trolls were killed.
"Agh!"
Bowser yelled as his bazooka was sliced in half by Cocytus' halberd, being bladed back.
The Koopa King looked up and glared at the insect, who barely had a scratch on him.
"Hmph. You all have a warriors spirit, I respect your spirit. You are all true warriors." Cocytus spoke. "But you are all still not powerful enough, so I will do the job of finishing you."
SHHHING!!
"Ah!" Cocytus exclaimed as his axe was knocked away.
It was Sephiroth, who had drawn Musame and blocked Cocytus' attack.
"Come on, I will not let you win that easily." Sephiroth smiled as his grip on Musame tightened.
"Oh, another powerful one! So be it, come at me!" Cocytus exclaimed as he picked up his axe, pulling out a long katana out of nowhere next. "God Slaying Emperor Blade!"
"So then….you have chosen despair." Sephiroth looked into Cocytus' eyes, as his one wing came out.
The two started to charge at each other, ready to clash.
"ENOUGH!"
But the two stopped, as a voice was heard.
Then a dark portal came out of the sky, with many of the death knights running to create some sort of formation. Creating a huge rectangular shaped platform.
Then from the dark portal came a skeleton lord, one in a black cloak.
Ainz Oal Gown had arrived, after convincing the Dwarven kingdom to join the Sorcerer Kingdom.
He was also accompanied by Shalltear Bloodfallen and Aura.
Oh and Gondo was there, a dwarf and runecrafter from the Dwarven Kingdom.
That's when many residents came out of the doors, mainly Mario and Master Hand.
"No a way."
"He has arrived."
Ainz stood on the platform with the others, as a throne appeared in which he sat in.
"Greetings, Smash Mansion. I presume that my floor guardian was a good enough warning for you?" Ainz asked as he put his skeletal hand to his chin.
"Warning?! That's a all this was?!" Mario yelled as he ran up. "Why a we oughta—"
"Silence! You do not speak to Lord Ainz without his permission!" Shalltear yelled.
"Shalltear, it is alright." Ainz put his hand up. "Yes, this was a warning. I want to make your warriors and your location a part of the Sorcerer Kingdom."
"I apologize, but we are not interested." Master Hand floated up. "You must leave, Oal Gown. Or we will remove you ourselves."
"Calm yourself. I will not attack you today." Ainz stated. "But I will in fact come for you, if you will not surrender through discussion. We shall use violence."
"We're not interested in chit chat!" Bowser exclaimed. "We just want you to get out of here!"
Everyone was silent, including Ainz. Who stared down at the Koopa King.
"Very well then, but be warned. I shall be back. And I will have your kingdom." Ainz stood from his throne. "This is not the last you have heard of Ainz Oal Gown. Good job Cocytus."
"That's right! None of you stand a chance against the lord of the undead!" Aura exclaimed while putting her hand out.
"Now then, we must return to the Dwarven capital." Ainz turned to Shalltear. "We shall leave."
"Yes my lord."
Ainz then put his hand up into the air.
"Greater teleportation!"
Then all of them disappeared, glowing blue and completely disappearing. All of the death knights and trolls were gone, Cocytus was gone, and Ainz himself was gone.
All of the residents looked shocked, some afraid, some confused.
"Wh-what do we a do?" Mario asked Master Hand.
"I'm not sure. We shall see."
