I was just relaxing watching a movie as it was one of those rare days that dad said I should rest when all the sudden my doorbell rang. I went to answer it to see Momo and Tsu at my door.

I open the door and say, "Momo. Tsu. Hey!"

Tsu says, "Hey, Cara!"

Momo says, "Come to the pool with us."

I ask, "The pool?"

Tsu says, "Yeah. Some fun before the training camp."

Momo says, "We'll get in some exercise too. Plus I'm curious to see how you are in the water since what you said about your Panther Quirk. And we did get permission from the school."

Tsu says, "Me too."

I blink and then say, "Sure. Let me grab my suit."

Momo says, "You won't need it." She continues when I turn around, "The school has provided them for us."

I knew dad was at the school having a teacher meeting so he'd be there too and wouldn't mind me being there. We get to the school and we quickly get the school swimsuits on and I like seeing that it's more covered than I thought it would be I just hope my flexibility doesn't rip it. The suit is navy blue almost black that has normal tank top straps and is skin tight but has legs that stop just above our knees with a white strip lined in red on the sides.

All us girls go to the pool and once we are there we start stretching and all the boys except Izuku, Kaminari, Mineta, Bakugo, and Eijiro are there. I listen hearing dad's voice, "Vlad. We have to increase each of the students' Quirks this summer."

Vlad says, "Agreed. Why don't you start by giving me a rundown of all Class A's abilities?"

Dad says, "If I must. Let's start with Yuga Aoyama. His Quirk is Navel Laser. It's...basically a bellybutton laser. Then we have Mina Ashido. Quirk: Acid. She secretes a corrosive substance that melts targets. Tsuyu Asui. Her Quirk is Frog. And she can do pretty much everything a frog can. Tenya Iida is the class rep. Quirk: Engine. The engines in his calves grant him super speed. There's Ochaco Uraraka. Her Quirk: Zero Gravity. She can make anything she touches weightless. Mashirao Ojiro. His Quirk is called 'Tail'. He can manipulate his tail as if it were an arm or leg. Moving on to Denki Kaminari. Quirk: Electrification. He discharges built-up electricity from his body. The spiky-haired one is Eijiro Kirishima. Quirk: Hardening. He can make his entire body stone-like. Koji Koda is the quiet type. Though, his Quirk is Anivoice. He uses it to control animals and insects, but it can't affect humans. Rikido Sato is strong. Quirk: Suger Rush. He turns the sugar stores in his body into pure power. Then, we have Mezo Shoji. His Quirk is Dupli-Arms. He can make other body parts appear on the tips of his tentacles. Kyoka Jiro. Her Quirk is called 'Earphone Jack'. Using the retractable plugs on her earlobes, she can distinguish between even the quietest of sounds. Plus, she can use the speakers on her legs to release incredibly devastating sonic bursts. Hanta Sero has a Quirk named 'Tape'. It has many uses. He can shoot sticky tape from his elbows and use it to apprehend his opponents, or to simply swing around through the air. Fumikage Tokoyami. Quirk: Dark Shadow. He commands a devastating bird-like shadow that gets wilder when there's no light. Endeavor's son, Shoto Todoroki. His Quirk is Half-Cold, Half-Hot. He can emit ice from the right side of his body, and flames from the left. The Stealth Hero: Toru Hagakure. Her Quirk: Invisibility. She's invisible. The sports festival runner up, Katsuki Bakugo. Quirk: Explosion. He sweats a nitroglycerin-like substance and makes it blow up. Of course there's Izuku Midoriya. His Quirk is Super Power. He can increase the power and physical abilities of isolated appendages, or his entire body." Dad sighs and continues, "Minoru Mineta. His Quirk: Pop Off. The balls he pulls off his head can stick to anything, though he himself bounces off them. Finally, there's Momo Yaoyorozu. Her Quirk is Creation. She can create any non-living thing from the lipids in her body. And there's Cara who is way too difficult to explain especially since she seems to keep adding Quirks but you know my daughter anyways so I don't need to explain her. And that's it. We should also go over Class B's Quirks-"

Dad cuts himself off having me question when all the sudden I hear Mineta say, "Excuse us."

Vlad says, "Yes? What is it?"

Kaminari says, "Sorry to interrupt. We were wondering about the form we turned in a few days ago about the pool."

Dad says, "Oh. The school has granted you permission. You're allowed to use the pool until 5pm."

Kaminari says, "Thanks."

Mineta says, "You won't regret this, sir!" It's when Mineta says that I start to realize their motives.

Dad says, "You said you wanted to use the pool for endurance training, correct? Make the time count."

I hear Mineta, Kaminari, and Izuku all say together, "Right!"

All is quiet for a few minutes until I hear Izuku say, "So, we're using the pool to improve our stamina. That's a great idea, Mineta. Plus, if we're at school, we can use our Quirks! It'll be the perfect way to train!"

I hear Kaminari say, "Just what you'd expect from us heroes."

Mineta says, "You know what we're gonna do. Go beyond. Plus Ultra!"

Izuku says, "Ultra!"

I listen closer as Kaminari mutters, "It was a smart choice to invite Midoriya. He's a great cover." I roll my eyes but continue to listen.

Mineta mutters back, "If it had just been us, we wouldn't have gotten permission to use the pool, I bet."

Kaminari mutters, "This works, and it could be the defining moment of our lives."

Mineta mutters back, "Don't jinx us. I told you what I heard the girls say. It was right after the finals were over."

I'm confused though it may be when I had already left but Momo did say she already got permission so that's probably what it's about though I don't think they realized us girls would be given specific swimsuits.

Tenya asks, "Where are Kaminari, Mineta, and Midoriya? They should be here by now."

I hear running footsteps and I say, "Here they come."

Kaminari and Mineta running saying, "Faster, hurry up! Paradise is waiting on the other side of this door!"

They get through the door and see Tenya in swim trunks and a swim cap and Tenya says, "There you are, slowpokes."

Kaminari and Mineta yelp as they barrel past Tenya and see all the boys in the class there too except for Bakugo and Kirishima.

Mineta says, "No, no, no. What the heck are you guys doing here?"

Izuku says walking in, "Since we're doing endurance training at the pool, I messaged everyone to see if they wanted to come with us."

Kaminari mutters, "You did what? Now all our plans are ruined."

Mineta mutters to Kaminari, "Don't lose hope yet. There will definitely still be girls splashing around the water."

Mineta and Kaminari nod together.

Kaminari mutters, "I'll burn the sight into my brain."

Mineta mutters, "I can't wait to see those skimpy suits!"

Tsu says, "Oh, hey. Hi, Mineta."

Jiro says, "I didn't know you guys would be here."

We continue stretching as Kaminari mutters, "I can't believe there's not a single bikini. Foiled again."

Mineta says, "You know, school suits are still pretty hot."

Kaminari looks at him weird and mutters, "Have some standards, dude."

Tenya, thankfully says, "Kaminari. Mineta. Nice work." Tenya looks like he's going to hug them as he continues, "I'm proud of you for suggesting more training. You're an asset to our class. Let me thank you."

Both Kaminari and Mineta whimper as Tenya goes closer with his arms held wide.

Tenya says, "Now. Don't just sit there. It's time to come sweat with us."

Tenya hugs them picking them both up and I start chuckling as Tenya laughs walking with them towards the rest of the boys.

Kaminari says, "You're choking me."

Mineta says, "No, wait. Not cool!"

Kaminari and Mineta together say, "This wasn't the plan!"

We finally get in the pool and Ochaco has the beach ball and says, "Get ready for it! Serve!"

Mina hits it back saying, "Mine!"

Tsu hits it next with her tongue saying, "Ribbit!"

Jiro grunts hitting it with her Earphone Jack.

Hagakure hits it next saying, "Got it!"

Momo jumps out of the water a bit hitting it and says, "Set!"

We keep going like that hitting it between us trying not to let it touch the water as the boys do their own thing.

Kaminari and Mineta groan on the side as Tenya says, "All right! Let's take a 15-minute breather. I brought these for everyone. Please, drink up!" Tenya opens a cooler full of orange sodas.

Sato says, "Nice."

Ojiro says, "Thanks a lot, Class Rep."

Sero says, "This is just what I needed!"

The boys drink and I hear Shoto say, "Cara?"

I turn towards him and hit the ball to Momo easily as it sails my way and I say, "I'm going to take a break with the boys, girls. Shoto is calling me."

I see some of the girls raise their eyebrows as I easily pull myself out of the pool and grab onto Shoto's hand as I step out. Shoto bends down and grabs the cans he had put on the ground and hands one to me.

I watch as Kaminari gulps down his and mutters, "Why do the girls get to play around instead?"

Mineta says, "They got permission to use the pool, so they can goof off. Can you believe it?"

I see Aoyama holding his stomach and Koda trying to comfort him.

Kaminari looks to Mineta and says, "You idiot. Why did you make our application for endurance training."

Mineta says, "Sure, blame me, I didn't hear you making any suggestions!"

Shoji says, "It looks like you've been working out."

Ojiro says, "I'm practically living at the gym. It's been kinda nice actually."

Tokoyami says, "We must all remain focused."

I watch as Izuku pants.

Tenya goes to him and says, "Hey, Midoriya." He pauses until Izuku looks at him and Tenya holds out a can and says, "It looks like you could use a break."

Izuku stands and says, "You're probably right, thanks," and takes the can from Tenya.

Shoto and I sit there just holding hands and drinking our soda that Tenya brought just watching the others.

Izuku starts drinking his and then stops as Tenya keeps watching him and asks, "Something wrong?"

Tenya says, "No. This is just funny, that's all." Tenya sits down on one of the diving blocks and continues, "At the entrance exams, I couldn't imagine the two of us would get along, much less become such good friends."

Izuku gasps surprised.

Tenya continues, "I guess, if I'm being honest, I didn't think that much of you back then. And yet. During the practical exam...You did put Uraraka ahead of yourself. Even though saving her meant you might not pass."

Izuku says, "I was so happy. It had always been a dream of mine to attend All Might's alma mater someday. Even though I knew it was a long shot. And then, when Mr. Aizawa said the person in last place for the fitness test would be expelled, I was sure I'd be going home."

Tenya says, "You may have thought that, but you never gave up."

Izuku says, "Oh," looking up at Tenya.

Tenya continues, "Not during combat training, either. You weren't perfect. Indeed, your methods were reckless. But I could feel the tenacity and drive you brought to each test. I believe that's the reason Bakugo and I lost to you in our training round."

Izuku says, "Thanks, Iida." Izuku looks at his right fist and says, "But I'm only here because so many people have helped me get here. And that's why." Izuku stands and continues, "I'll work even harder from now on!"

Bakugo all the sudden says, "You'd better! The next time I beat you, I want you to be at your strongest, you damn nerd."

Izuku yelps and says, "Kacchan!"

Eijiro says, "Hey, I got your message. Sorry I'm late. Took a while to convince Bakugo to come out."

Izuku mutters, "That's not very surprising."

Bakugo continues, "So, Deku. You wanna settle who's the best between us right now? Huh?"

Bakugo starts letting off explosions and I feel Shoto tighten his hand in mine and mutter, "We won't let it go anywhere."

Izuku says, "No, that's not it."

Tenya says, "Actually, you know what? We could make this training a contest."

Izuku says, "Huh?"

Tenya raises his hand and says, "Hey, everyone! I propose that we see which of the boys can swim 50 meters the fastest. A friendly race."

Kaminari says, "Yeah!"

Sero says standing up, "That sounds fun."

Sato says, "Let's do it!"

Momo says, "Iida!" I see all the girls behind her as well. Momo continues, "Why don't you let us help you out with this?"

Tenya says, "Yes, please."

Ojiro says, "And, Quirks. Can we sue them?"

Tenya says, "We're at school, so there shouldn't be a problem with that. However! You cannot cause damage to your classmates or the building."

Bakugo strides a little towards Izuku and says, "I'm gonna annihilate you, Deku."

Bakugo then turns towards me and Shoto saying, "And you, too, Icy Hot. You bastard!"

Shoto tightens his grip on my hand lightly in reassurance. All the sudden I hear Hagakure gasp.

Tsu says, "Are Todoroki and Cara dating?"

I blush bright red as Shoto says, "So? What about it?"

Mina just says, "Aw they are so cute together!"

I blush brighter and stand with Shoto pulling me up.

Mineta, Tokoyami, Koda, Bakugo, and Kaminari line up first and Momo has a whistle at the beginning while I stand at the end. Momo says, "All right, now, everyone on your marks! Get set!" She blows the whistle and the boys are out.

Bakugo unsurprisingly flies above the pool screaming, "Burst Speed Turbo!" And he easily lands on the ground on the other side of the pool. Bakugo asks, "How was that, you sidekicks?"

Sero says, "What do you think you're doing?"

Eijiro screams, "You didn't even touch the water!"

Bakugo says, "It's called freestyle swimming!"

Next to race is Sero, Aoyama, Shoto, Sato, and Eijiro. Momo says, "Everyone on your marks. Get set!" She blows the whistle.

I watch as Aoyama and Sero fly above the water and collide into each other. I smile widely as Shoto ices across the pool and wins and I run and hug him with a quick kiss on the cheek causing him to blush a little.

Mineta and Kaminari scream, "You're supposed to be swimming!"

Tenya, Izuku, Ojiro, and Shoji line up and Momo says, "Last group, on your marks. Get set!" Momo blows her whistle and they go off.

All but Tenya actually swim. Tenya skates across the swim lane line causing Kaminari to say, "You, too, Iida?"

I watch Izuku closely and see him go Full Cowling under the water. Which causes a race between Tenya and Izuku though Izuku wins it.

Which means the last race will be between Bakugo, Shoto, and Izuku.

All the students cheer.

Sero says, "Nice one, Midoriya!"

Mina says, "Iida was so close!"

Izuku helps Tenya out of the water. Tenya says, "Whoa. You beat me. Good work."

Izuku says, "You were amazing out there, too, Iida!"

Shoto says quietly, "Midoriya..." Shoto looks at his left hand and I squeeze his right slightly. Shoto looks at Izuku and Tenya who are both looking at him. All of us together have been through a lot in the last semester and me and Shoto even more so from years before.

Tenya mutters quietly so I know no one else can hear, "Todoroki. I vow once more to become a hero like my older brother."

Tenya and Shoto nod at each other and Shoto mutters quietly, "I will become a hero but the kind that I wanna be." I smile hearing that and knowing I'll be by his side for it.

Izuku mutters quietly, "I swear I'll become a hero. A great one, like All Might. Who saves people with a smile."

We pause for a little bit then Tenya says, "It's time for the final race. Bakugo. Todoroki. Midoriya. As winners of each heat, you'll fight for first place. Understand?"

Izuku says, "Got it."

Shoto says, "Yes."

Bakugo says, "Listen up, Scarface." I growl hearing that causing some to step back from me as it was an actual panther growl. Bakugo continues ignoring me, "Don't you dare hold back like you did at the sports festival. Bring everything you've got!"

Shoto says, "I will."

Bakugo turns to Izuku and says, "You, too. Fight to win."

Izuku says, "Yeah! I will. I promise."

Tenya leads this one as Shoto, Izuku, and Bakugo go on the starting stands. Tenya says, "Then the 50-meter freestyle final race will now begin!"

The students cheer.

Eijiro says, "Blow 'em away, Bakugo!"

Kaminari says, "Don't kill the other swimmers!"

Sero says, "You got this, Todoroki!"

Ochaco says, "You can do it, Deku!"

Momo says, "Do your best, everyone!"

I'm torn on who to cheer for with Shoto or Izuku so I stay quiet listening and watching closely at the end.

Tenya puts his hand up and says, "Now, on your marks."

Bakugo has explosions going off in his palms and mutters, "A single blast is all it'll take."

I see Shoto cover his right arm in ice and mutter, "I'll slide past them."

Izuku bends over in position to go into the water and mutters, "I can win this with One For All."

Tenya says, "Get set!" He blows his whistle and they jump ready to go.

All the sudden they freeze and drop in the water.

Kaminari asks, "What happened?"

I turn and look to see Dad in the doorway using his Quirk.

Sero asks, "Why aren't they using their Quirks?"

Dad says, "It's 5 pm." Everyone turns towards him and Tenya straightens. Dad continues, "Your authorized pool time is officially over. Hurry up and go home."

Kaminari says, "Come on, just one second!"

Sero says pointing at the water, "We were finally getting to the good part!"

Dad's eyes flash as he asks, "Are you questioning me?"

The students all say, "Not at all, Mr. Aizawa!"

We all quickly go to leave and I see Dad look at me and he says, "Cara, you are needed at the police station."

I nod and go remembering the meeting.
