Despite it being summer vacation we are going back to school to get everyone for training camp and I have yet to tell Dad that shoto and I had started dating and I knew it was going to be a big shock as I knew his stand on dating for me and I don't know if he'd seen us at the pool. Only good thing is I'd told Shoto that I hadn't told him yet and he knew he didn't want me dating yet but that I didn't care because I wanted to with Shoto anyways.

We are standing outside of the building when Dad says, "Now that you've finished up your first semester at UA High, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin. However...Don't think these will be months of rest for you heroes-in-the-making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become 'Plus Ultra'!"

We all say, "Yes, sir!"

Ochaco runs forward to Izuku saying, "I'm so psyched! I've been looking forward to this camp all semester, Deku!"

Izuku is beat red and says, "Oh, yeah! It's definitely close, huh?" Izuku mutters almost inaudible even to me, "So close!"

Ochaco says, "Hey, what's the matter?"

Izuku sidesteps a little and says, "I'm just a little hot!"

Ochaco says, "Huh?" Ochaco gasps and goes beat red herself and steps way back quickly even going behind Shoto and me even though we were on the other side and says, "Uh. Let's hear it for camp!" causing most to look at her funny. Even Shoto turned and looked.

Ochaco, Kaminari, and Mina all while jumping around say, "Yeah! Camp! Camp! Camp! Camp!"

Izuku mutters, "Wow. Uraraka and the others sure are excited."

All the sudden Monoma appears and says, "I heard some of Class A is taking extra courses. Does that mean they actually failed the final exams? Hah. That must be so embarrassing. Especially since you're supposed to be so much better than my class. All of you must be wallowing in shame!"

I say, "Itsuka," as she smacks him and we smile at each other.

Itsuka says, "I know you wanted to put him in his place but I got it." Itsuka bends over and drags him to their bus and says, "Don't mind him!"

Izuku says, "Uh...Heh..."

A girl with silver hair in Class B says, "Monoma's scary."

Izuku says, "Oh. The rest of Class B!"

Another girl with dark green hair says, "It's nice to see you outside of the sports festival. I guess now we're not technically rivals."

Another girl with black hair and blue eyes nods.

Itsuka calls back, "Time to get on the bus." Itsuka gets on dragging Monoma with her. A lot of the girls giggling running to the bus.

Mineta murmurs, "The girls of Class A and Class B. It's like a buffet of bombshells!"

Eijiro says, "Dude, get yourself together. For real."

Tenya calls, "Attention, Class A, our bus is here. Everyone line up in seating order!"

We get in and again I see I'm the odd one out for seating until Shoto stands up and grabs my hand pulling me towards him and has me sit in his lap causing Dad's gaze to be on us which has me shrink and try to hide my face in Shoto's shoulder and Mina squeals, "Oh, that's so sweet!"

Shoto keeps ahold of my waist to keep me from moving around too much or sliding out of his lap.

We listen up as Dad says, "Here's the deal. We'll be on this bus about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you stay focused."

Kaminari says, "Why aren't we blastin' some music?"

Aoyama stands next to us causing Tenya to stand and scream, "No one should be standing! That is a safety hazard! Please stay seated!"

Dad groans looking back and seeing most of the students chattering. Dad mutters, "Why do I bother? Well, I guess this is the only time they'll have to fool around."

Tenya screams, "Do not open that window!"

I groan knowing it will be a long ride and mutter, "Hey, Shoto. I'm going to go talk to dad about us. Since we've already gotten the glare and no better time but now."

I stand up and Tenya screams, "What are you doing, Cara?!"

I say, "Going to talk to my dad, Tenya. If it hadn't been for Shoto I'd be standing the whole bus ride anyways."

Tenya leaves me alone with a nod especially knowing that I'm the safest person to be standing anyway.

I walk up to Dad and he moves over a little so I can sit next to him while we talk.

Dad asks, "Are you going to tell me what is going on between you and Todoroki?"

I sigh and say, "Yes. Remember the day I told you I was going to meet Shoto and Tokoyami out for ice cream?"

Dad nods and says, "Yes."

I say, "Well once Tokoyami left Shoto asked me to be his girlfriend with this necklace." I grab the necklace from around my neck and show him the pendants. I continue, "I said yes. I know you don't want me to date but it's my decision plus Shoto and I train together and always work hard so us dating won't be a problem for training or school, I promise."

Dad sighs and says, "Out of all the kids in this class, he is probably the only one who can make you happy and would have the guts to risk my wrath, so I'll let it go. But if he hurts you he will have hell to pay, Endeavor's son or not."

I nod and say, "I understand. Thank you, daddy." I hug him quickly and go back to Shoto who again pulls me in his lap until the bus stops.

The bus stops at an overlook with a black car there and everyone gets off the bus but me as I watch the others. Kaminari says, "Finally. I needed off that bus."

Mineta says, "Let me get through, I gotta pee!"

Eijiro says, "Huh. This isn't much of a rest area."

Dad looks at me still on the bus and says, "Get off the bus, Cara."

I say, "But..."

Dad interrupts me and says, "It doesn't matter that you know what is going to happen. Off now."

I get off and quickly go to stand with Shoto who grabs my right hand with his left. I watch as Mineta runs around and I roll my eyes at him.

Jiro says, "No. And where's Class B?"

Dad says as Mineta runs up to him, "You don't really think we stopped here just so you could stretch your legs, do you?"

Jiro and Ochaco gasp and everyone looks towards Dad.

Mineta looks up at dad and says holding himself, "Please, sir, the toilet."

My head snaps toward the black car as the doors open and I let go of Shoto's hand reaching for my Capture Weapon that isn't on me because everyone's in uniforms and me just in black leggings and a black tank top with my normal jacket around my waist. Not having the Capture Weapon I went into a fighting position.

Mandalay's voice comes saying, "Heya, Eraser! Cara!"

I stand and Dad and I bow our heads as we say together, "Long time no see."

Mandalay says, "Your feline fantasies are here. Say, 'meow'."

Pixie-Bob says, "Purrfectly cute and catlike girls!"

Pixie-Bob and Mandalay together, "You can call us the Wild, Wild Pussycats!" I see a kid standing next to them and I wonder why.

Dad says, "These are the pro heroes you'll be working with at the summer training camp. Mandalay here also gave Cara one of her six recommendations in case any of you were wondering."

Izuku says, "They're a four-person hero team who specialize in mountain rescues! The Pussycats were founded when we were kids, like forever ago!"

Pixie-Bob and Mandalay gasp causing me to start laughing.

Izuku says, "This marks their 12th years working as a-"

Pixie-Bob grabs Izuku's face and I can't blame her. Pixie-Bob says, "I'm pretty sure your math must be off. I'm 18 at heart."

Izuku muffled from her hand says, "Understood!"

Eijiro and Kaminari say together, "That's so sad."

Dad says, "Everyone, say hello."

All the students say, "Hello! Nice to meet you!"

The kid looks away and I'm seriously curious on him and I'll have to ask Mandalay later.

Mandalay says gesturing to the forest, "We own this whole stretch of land out here. Everything you can see. The summer camp you're staying at is there at the base of the mountain."

The students say, "That's far!"

Ochaco says, "Uh. Then why did we stop all the way up here instead?"

Tsu says, "I'm afraid we both know the answer to that."

Sato says, "That can't be right."

Sero laughs nervously and says, "Um. Back on the bus. Quick. Let's go."

Kaminari says, "Good idea. Load up."

I watch Mandalay as she says, "The current time is 9:30 in the morning. If you're fast about it, you might make it there by noon."

Eijiro says, "No way. Guys!"

I mutter, "That's why I tried to stay on the bus."

Mina says, "Holy crap!"

Eijiro says, "Save yourselves!"

All the students start running to the bus and Shoto is pulling at my hand trying to get me to come though he gives up after a few tugs.

Mandalay says, "Kitties who don't make it there by 12:30 won't get any lunch."

Dad says, "You should have guessed, students. The training camp..."

Pixie-Bob jumps in front of the bus stopping the students causing the students to gasp.

Dad continues, "...has already begun."

Pixie-Bob puts her hands on the ground and they start glowing as she is making us go in her mud slide causing the students to yelp. I jump avoiding it and instead balancing on the fence.

I hear Ochaco call, "What the heck?"

Pixie-Bob's mud slide throws everyone in the forest.

Izuku says, "She must be controlling the ground!"

The students scream as they are dumped.

Mandalay says, "Good news! Since this is private land, you can use your Quirk as much as you want to. You've got three full hours. You should be able to make it to the facility in that time. That is, if you can get through The Beast's Forest." The students gasp turning around. Mandalay says turning to me, "You've always been a quick one."

I sigh and say, "I know this year it's my time to join them. See ya at the camp." I jump off and land easily next to Shoto who grabs my hand.
