Well, my right arm is sort of back to normal, but not as much. There's a limit on how long I can type and write now, so sorry. But I would like to thank all of you for supporting me and wishing me well. And don't worry, I'm virus free…minus my allergies as normal.
Well, shall we get going? I know you guys have been waiting for quite some time for this update and I hope you all enjoy it.
-Gringotts, night-
"I demand to speak with the Potter's account manager!" shouted Bellatrix. Sirius and Rodolphus had to stay back as Bella's anger was affecting her magic. Even giving her all three-calming draughts, Bella's magic was lashing out.
Normally, the goblins would ignore a demand from any wizards and witches, but right now, they were in shock. "P-Please, follow me."
Bellatrix, Rodolphus and Sirius followed the goblin to a private room. They waited until an older goblin came in. "Greetings, I'm Nagnok, the Potter's account manager. What can I do for you?"
"What can you do? What can you do?!" snapped Bellatrix, gritting her teeth. "I'll tell you what to do! Destroy that illegal marriage contract between my son to that little bitch, Ginevra Weasley!"
Nagnok widened his eyes, "Your – Your son?!" Rodolphus handed him Lily's letter. He read it before shouting, "Griphook!"
"Yes, sir?"
"Go and find a marriage contract between Mr. Regulus Lestrange formally as Mr. Harry Potter and Miss Ginevra Weasley," ordered Nagnok. Griphook nodded and dashed out of the room.
Within minutes, the goblin came back and handed the parchment to the elder goblin. Nagnok broke the seal and read the context before frowning. "This contract was created on May 3, 1990. Albus Dumbledore and Molly Weasley signed as witnesses."
"I never gave authorization to Dumbledore to create this contract!" snapped Sirius.
"Destroy it! Burn it! That little bitch will use that contract to get her greedy little hands on his money!" snapped Bellatrix. She then narrowed her eyes, "And don't forget about her harpy mother of hers!"
"Actually…the marriage contract is non void since there was no Harry Potter when this contract was created," Nagnok smirked. Sirius burst into laughter while Bellatrix and Rodolphus sighs in relief. "Now, would you like to reclaim the Potter vaults?" he asked.
Bellatrix frowned, "But I thought Regulus lost claim since he's not a Potter anymore."
"True, but he's a former Potter so your son still has a small claim to the Potter fortune. If not, the Blacks are next in line to claim it due to Lady Dorea married to Lord Charlus Potter," explained Nagnok.
"Then Sirius can claim it. He's the current Lord Black," said Bellatrix.
"Yes, but I named Harry my heir, so he can still get those vaults once I'm died," said Sirius.
Bellatrix and Rodolphus looked at each other before nodding. Bellatrix smiled, "What do we have to do to reclaim it? It is his birth right after all."
Smirking, Nagnok worked with the Lestrange's on giving back the Potter's fortune to its rightful owner. Remembering the times on how Dumbledore or Molly would withdraw galleons from the Potter vaults as they were given permission by the boy's godfather, Sirius Black.
Well, not anymore.
-Hogwarts, Nov. 24-
Regulus was petting the mini dragon he was soon going to face, the Hungarian Horntail. His Headmistress had informed him about the dragons, but not sure about the objective.
And that was to collect a golden egg from a female dragon.
The dragons were selected by pulling them from a purple bag. Viktor pulled out a Chinese Fireball, Fleur pulled out a Common Welsh Green and Cedric pulled out a Swedish Short-Snout.
Regulus sighed, 'Why me? Does danger seek me out or something? I hope mom doesn't curse Dumbledore…too badly.'
First up, Viktor to get the egg from the Chinese Fireball. He mostly did a 'dodge and run' strategy and blocking the incoming fireballs, but at the end Viktor lost points when the dragon stomped a few eggs.
Second was Fleur, who barely got her egg from the Welsh Green dragon. Also, she received a couple of burns after a few close calls.
Third was Cedric, who quickly transformed a few boulders to wolves to distract the Swedish Short-Snout while he sneaks behind the dragon. However, the Hufflepuff slips which got the dragon's attention. Avoiding the fire, Cedric grabs the egg and ran off.
Finally, it was Regulus' turn.
"Representing from Salem Academy – Regulus Lestrange!" shouted Ludo.
All the Academy students, some Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students were cheering. A few Hogwarts students clapped while the rest were glaring at him.
Regulus stepped out from the tent and carefully walk to the middle of the arena. He hides behind a nearby boulder upon spotting the Horntail, who was guarding her eggs. 'Well, here goes nothing,' he thought before slowly walking over to the protective dragon.
The Horntail sensed something was wrong. She curled her tail around her unborn hatchlings and looked up to see a human walking towards her. The Horntail growled and gave out a warning shot to the human.
Regulus grabbed the fireball and tossed it to the right, straight to a nearby boulder which got slightly melted. "Listen to me, noble dragon! I'm not your enemy!"
The Horntail led out a furious roar before firing another shot to Regulus.
Meanwhile at the stands, Drago and his friends were on edge while Regulus' friends were sitting calmly on their sits. Behind them were Ron, Hermione, and Ginny.
"Blimey Harry. He really should do something then just stand there and do nothing," said Ron, clenching his hands into a fist.
"…I bet he has something on his sleeve," assured Hermione.
"Y-Yea, Hermione's right. He's after all the Boy-Who-Lived," said Ginny, holding onto her skirt tightly and biting her lower lip, nervously.
Daphne, who was near to Ginny, shook her head upon hearing what she said. She then noticed Regulus' friends didn't look worried at all. Daphne gritted her teeth, "How can you guys be so calm?! You're not worried if Reggie gets hurt at all?!"
Astrid grinned, "There's no need to, Daphne. Reg had faced stronger and older opponents in the past. He's been trained by some advance master duelists."
"He…He can't be that powerful…can he?" said Tracey.
"Oh, he is," said Nyla before smirking, "But hates the attention."
"I wonder if he's going to transform," wondered Irving, excitedly.
"Transform?" asked Blaise.
"Is he an Animagus?" asked Pansy.
Kylee smirked, "We wouldn't tell. That will ruin the surprise."
Meanwhile at the teacher's box, Yuki was using her shadow magic to hold Bellatrix as she wanted to struggle Dumbledore.
"Release me Yuki! Release me this instant!" snapped Bellatrix.
"And have you return back to the holding cells again? I don't think so…and don't underestimate your son," said Lorelei.
"She's right, dear. Our son has been training since he was seven years old," assured Rodolphus.
Bellatrix sighed, "I know, but – that doesn't stop me from worrying!"
"I understand, Bella. All mothers do. Take my word," said Lorelei, softly then turned her head and looked down at the arena. She smirked, "Besides, he can finally show you his progress on his metamorphagus training."
"He started already?" asked Bellatrix.
Lorelei winked, "Just sit back and watch."
Bellatrix, Rodolphus, Rabastan, Severus, Sirius and Remus looked at each other when they heard a loud gasp from the stands. They looked down at the arena and let out a gasp themselves. In front of the Horntail was a pure black dragon with long wings, a long tail, and the eyes was glowing bright green.
"He's a Night Fury!" said Nyla before frowning, "…aren't that species of dragons died out about 2000 years ago?"
"No, they're still alive and well," said Michael. "Professor Haddock's ancestor found a secret world for dragons where most Night and Light Furies live there. The entrance can only be located by a dragon and only his family knows the location."
"So, they're like guardians to the entrance?" said Astrid.
Michael nodded.
"Who's his ancestor?" asked Blaise.
"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, the Dragon Whisper," replied Jack.
"During his era, dragons and Vikings were common enemies, but Hiccup and Toothless, a Night Fury he befriended made a difference," said Lelouch.
"Hiccup and Toothless defeated Green Death, a massive dragon that ordered the other dragons to get food for her. However, if they failed or brought small amount of food, she'll eat them," said Jack.
"Years later, Hiccup and Toothless took down an Alpha dragon and his rider, Drago Bludvist who used fear to control the dragons," said Michael.
"His goal was to conquer the world with his enormous army of both humans and dragons," said Lelouch.
"But Hiccup and Toothless stopped him, of course. And Toothless became the new Alpha dragon," finished Jack, happily.
Draco and his friends were in awe as the same with Hermione and Ginny who were able to hear the small history lesson.
Nadia giggled upon seeing Draco's face while holding Tia in her arms. That's when she looked back to the arena. She grinned, "Mm…looks like Reggie is having a lovely conversation with the Horntail."
Draco and the others quickly look back at the arena to see the Horntail had stopped firing. Instead, she and Regulus were growling softly at each other as if they were…talking?
"Wha – how are you here, young Night Wander? I thought that your kind have been killed off long time ago. And where's that human I sensed?"
"My…kind have been living in a sacred place in peace; away from human hunters. And…um…as for the human…that's me."
The Horntail roared, angrily, "What?! How is that possible?!"
"I'm a human who can use magic and can transform into a dragon," explained Regulus.
"…I see…why are you here, human?" asked the Horntail.
"I came to inform you that one of your eggs is a fake," replied Regulus.
"What?!" shouted the Horntail, firing at Regulus, who used his wings as a shield. "Impossible! I would know if there's a fake egg!"
Regulus watched the Horntail's tail was slamming down at the ground, but Regulus was worried since her tail was close to the eggs.
"Please, oh, Great Dragon. I come to thy no harm to you or your unborn hatchlings. If I break my promise, then let me burn in Hell's gate."
"…How…How do you know the scared vow, human?"
"From Lady Lorelei Fudo," replied Regulus.
"Lei?! You know Lei-Lei, boy?"
"She's my mentor. How do you know her?" wondered Regulus.
"…She saved me when I was a hatchling. Hunters were about to capture me, but she stopped them. Lei let me stay at her place until I was old enough to leave…" The Horntail looked at Regulus' green eyes, "I…will let you grab the 'fake' egg, but I'm going to smell the egg first and if you are lying, I'll burn you to death, understand?"
Regulus nodded before transforming back and slowly walked over to the nest. He grabbed the golden egg and lifted it up, "Here, take a sniff."
The Horntail sniffed at the egg before letting out an angry growl. Sensing the human was telling the truth, she – licked?! – Regulus' head and pushed him away from her eggs.
"I'll take that as a thanks," murmured Regulus, heading back to the tent. The moment he stepped in, he was tackled by Nyla and his mother. The others entered, calmly.
Rodolphus pulled his wife away from a slight blue face Regulus. "Bella, I would like my son to live another day, rather him dying on your arms…you as well Nyla."
Quickly, Bella let go of her death hug, but Nyla move to Regulus' arm and hold it, tightly.
"Nyla, would you mind?" said Regulus, seeing Nyla holding his arm in a death grip. She shook her head and buried her head onto Regulus' shoulder. 'Good thing that Lily and Ashley isn't here,' he thought. He knows his sister and cousin would be crying their eyes out and wouldn't let go of him for hours.
"That. Was. Awesome!" said Irving, slapping Regulus' back. Regulus winced a bit but gave his friend a grin.
"Much better than the last time," said Nadia.
Kylee laughed, "That's right. You were labeled a half-dragon during last summer camp!"
Regulus glared at the two girls of making him recall when he tried to transform during summer camp. He was only able to change his ears and gained the wings, but nothing else. He had to wait for the Headmistress to change him back.
Lorelei smiled, "Well, you did brilliant. I believe you'll be ready on how to fly soon."
Regulus' eyes brighten, "Really? I can't wait, madam."
"The same with me. I can't wait to see you flying!" said Rabastan, excitedly.
"Just…be careful. You've given me a lot of scares and a few gray hairs, but nevertheless, I'm so enormously proud of you – always," said Rodolphus, smiling. "Stay strong and…"
Regulus smirked, "…and show them no mercy!"
Sirius laughed and ruffled Regulus' hair, "What other abilities you're hiding, kiddo?"
"Not telling…it will ruin the surprise," said Regulus so innocently.
Sirius pouted while Bellatrix laughed. The Lestrange brothers, Severus, and Remus just shook their heads. Regulus has adopted Bella's humor.
