We all get up nice and early and go to the same spot as yesterday to work on our Quirks just like yesterday.

Koda was still screaming and I feel kinda bad for him as I know it's likely he could lose his voice.

I look towards Dad as he says, "Hey, remedial group. Keep at it."

I watch as he uses his Capture Weapon to grab Eijiro's head forcing him to say, "Yes, sir!"

Mina says, "Sorry. But I need more beauty rest."

Kaminari says, "Who knew yesterday's extra lessons..."

Sero continues it, "...would go on until two in the morning..."

Sato finishes, "...and start back up at seven."

I hear Dad say, "I told you it'd be tough. Remember. You're not just improving your Quirks. You're also working to overcome the many weaknesses I saw in the finals." The five of them yelp. Dad continues, "Think carefully about why you're more tired than the others before you start whining. You have much to improve here." Dad lets Eijiro's forehead go.

The five of them say, "Right. Yes, sir."

Dad turns away from them and says, "Uraraka! Aoyama! The same goes for you. Your team didn't fail, but you were very close. I'd say you passed the proverbial finish line by only a hair." I watch as Aoyama comes out of the porta potty holding his stomach.

Ochaco yelps and turns towards Dad saying, "That bad?"

Aoyama groans, "Mon dieu."

I walk with Dad as he talks and walks around to the other students. Dad says, "Don't lose focus. Each of you can move faster! And no matter what you're doing, just remember where you started from. Don't forget who you were before UA. Always keep in mind why you're sweating, and why your limits keep getting tested. That's what it means to improve."

I hear Bakugo mutter, "Where I started."

Shoto mutters, "Who I am."

Izuku mutters, "How I got here." Izuku grunts and runs towards me and Dad saying, "Hey, that reminds me, Mr. Aizawa. It's already the third day of camp."

Dad says turning to him, "Weren't you listening? Stay focused." He jumps down in front of Izuku with me following.

Izuku says, "I was just wondering if All Might - I mean, the other teachers from UA will be joining us."

Dad says, "Like I said before we came out here. To keep the camp a secret from the villains, hardly anyone knows where we are."

Ragdoll says on top of a cliff, "That's why you get to work out with us four pussycats!"

Dad continues, "And think about it. We believe All Might is one of the League's targets, so we can't have him here. It's for your own safety. For better or for worse, that's what he gets for standing out so much. Hah." And we walk away.

Izuku mutters, "Seems like it's mostly 'for worse' these days." Izuku looks at his right hand and continues muttering, "So that's it. All Might won't be here to help me."

Pixie-Bob sitting on top of boxes near Momo says, "Meow, meow, meow, meow! More importantly, tonight's gonna be fun! We're pitting classes against each other in a test of courage. I know you've been training hard today. And later, you'll get to play hard! How's that for a reward?"

Itsuka says next to Jiro, "It just sounds like more training."

Jiro says, "And training in the dark, no less."

Tokoyami in the cave training says, "Revelry in the dark."

Rin from Class B near Monoma says, "How much can we do in one day?"

Monoma laughs and says, "Least we get to beat Class A, am I right?"

Ragdoll jumps and says, "Don't slack now!"

Pixie-Bob says, "Make sure you keep on pushing yourself as you work!"

All us students say, "Yes, ma'am."

Izuku mutters, "Remember...where I came from."

Tiger says, "Hey. You're not Plus Ultra yet."

Izuku yelps and says, "Right!" And he goes off. We continue on like that until the sun starts setting and then we head back to the picnic area to prepare our dinner again.

While Shoto and I maintain the fires I watch as the others do their things. Ochaco says watching Bakugo cut fish incredibly fast, "Whoa, Bakugo, you're really good with that knife! It's weird."

Bakugo screams, "What do you mean 'it's weird'? How can you people be so damn bad at everything?"

Kaminari says walking by, "Look at that. He's not blowing stuff up."

Eijiro mutters, "I'm too tired for this."

Shoto goes towards Izuku with a pot of water and asks, "Did you need All Might for a particular reason? You asked Mr. Aizawa about him."

Izuku says, "Yeah. Um. I did. Because of Kota."

Shoto asks, "Kota? Who's that?"

Izuku looks up at him surprised, "Huh? The boy that's over there. He's Mandalay's cousin's...Hold on. Where did he go?" I look up and around and don't see him either. Izuku mutters, "Probably at his hideout. He really doesn't like being around everyone." Izuku turns back to put wood in the stove and continues saying, "Anyway, Kota doesn't like heroes. Actually, he hates the whole concept of superhumans, Quirks, and everything. I tried to talk to him, but I think I just made things worse. I was just wondering what all Might would have done to help him if he'd been here. I mean, what would you say to him, Todoroki?"

Shoto looks towards some of the others and says, "It depends."

Izuku says looking like he regretted asking, "Of course! Sorry I asked!"

Shoto continues, "To have a complete stranger try to change your mindset sounds like a pretty irritating conversation. What matters are actions. You have to show him what you're trying to prove. Right? If you're going to rely on words alone, then they'd better be incredibly powerful. What you say doesn't matter near as much as what you actually do. Kinda like how Cara and I were when we were little it wasn't so much that she was supportive it was that I didn't have to do all the training alone. And from what Cara's told me it wasn't always the words you said but your insistence to help and be her friend."

Izuku looks at the ground again with a slight smile and says, "You're right. I went about this the wrong way." Shoto looks at Izuku as Izuku continues, "How can I, a stranger say anything to him?"

Shoto says, "I don't know what your goal is when it comes to this child. But it sounds to me like you shouldn't be sticking your nose in a delicate situation. You tend to cut to the heart of people's feelings. It can be annoying."

Izuku looks ashamed and says, "Right. Sorry about that."

Tenya screams, "You guys! Your hands aren't moving! We'll never make the best stew if you stop now."

We finish making the stew and hurriedly eat it as well just to move on to washing all the dishes.

It's dark now and Pixie-Bob says, "Perfect. We've filled our bellies and cleaned the dishes. It's time for..."

Mina jumps up and says, "A totally awesome test of courage!"

Eijiro, Sero, Sato, and Kaminari all say jumping, "We're gonna win!"

Dad says, "Not so fast. It pains me to say it, but the remedial class will be having lessons with me tonight instead."

Mina exclaims, "You've gotta be kidding me!"

Dad just says, "Sorry." He wraps the five up and continues, "Your training during the day didn't impress me, so I'll be using this time, too." The five collapse to the ground as the rest of us look at them feeling sorry for them.

Kaminari and Sero say together, "Oh, give me a break!"

Sato and Eijiro say together, "I just wanna prove my courage!"

The five of them go with Dad and I'm hoping this courage test goes okay.

Pixie-Bob says, "Okay. So. Class B is going to start out as our 'scarers'. When they're in place, Class A will leave in pairs every three minutes. There are tags with your names on them at the far end of the route. Your goal is to collect those."

Tokoyami says, "Revelry in the dark."

Ochaco mutters looking at Tokoyami, "Why's he keep saying that?"

Pixie-Bob continues, "Now, those who are scarer's aren't allowed to make physical contact. Use your Quirks to terrify the others. Got it?"

Tiger says, "The winners are the creative students who make the most people piss their pants."

Jiro asks, "Did we need that visual?"

Tenya says, "I see! They're encouraging us to stoke our imaginations as we compete with each other, all while showing us more uses for our Quirks in the process. As expected of UA!"

Pixie-Bob says, "All right! Everyone draw to see who your partner will be."

Pixie-Bob comes around with papers to each of us except me but I realize why.

Izuku says, "Hm? If we're in teams of two...Wait. There are 21 of us, but five in extra lessons. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight? Okay let's try this again, I must be missing something." Izuku yelps and says, "I'm all alone."

Ojiro says, "We were randomly assigned. It's not that nobody chose you or anything."

Bakugo goes behind Ojiro and says, "Listen up, Tail. Trade with me."

Mineta says, "Aoyama. Please switch me partners, I should be with her!"

Bakugo screams, "Wait, what did you call me?"

Tokoyami says, "Revelry in the dark."

I place my hand on Izuku and say, "Actually you're not alone I'll be with you. Normally I referee this thing so they forgot to put my name in it."
