Izuku says while he's on Shoji's back and me and Shoji are hiding behind a tree, "Shoji. Cara. I have a plan. It's not perfect, but it might work."

Shoji asks, "What?"

Izuku says, "If Dark Shadow reacts to sound, then make duplicate arms to bait him, so he'll follow us without attacking our actual bodies. And Cara can do what she thinks of to help that as well." Shoji and I look at Izuku as he continues, "We can lead Dark Shadow to Kacchan. He'll be able to weaken him with an explosion."

I say, "Shoto should be with him too and maybe they'll even be in a somewhat open area so Shoto and I can help with our fire. If I tried it now I'd burn the whole forest."

Izuku says, "I don't want to choose one or the other. I want to save them both!"

Shoji and me start running while baiting Dark Shadow. I was creating Blades of Light and throwing them at branches away from us to bait Dark Shadow while Shoji was using his Dupli-Arms.

Izuku screams, "Good, Tokoyami! Don't fight against it! Give up your control for now and just let it take over - trust me!"

After a little bit I'm able to see ice as well as Bakugo and Shoto carrying someone from Class B with a villain on the other side of Shoto's ice wall.

Moonfish says, "Flesh. Pieces of meat!" He extends his metal teeth more saying, "Flesh!" and attacks Shoto's ice. One of his teeth manage to go through having Shoto jump backwards and create more ice to block it more.

Bakugo says, "Teeth attacks? Seriously? It's time to blast this freak with everything I've got!"

Shoto's right side starts frosting over as he says, "You can't!"

Bakugo says, "If the trees burn, just cover them with ice, stupid."

Shoto says, "A big explosion will impair my vision, though. I may not be able to see the fire. And how are you gonna get close to him anyway?"

Bakugo growls looking up at the ice wall. Bakugo and Shoto turn when they here a loud banging coming through the forest.

Izuku says, "There. I see ice! They're fighting!"

I see the villain and ask, "Shoji. Isn't that the villain you said cut off your hand?" Shoji nods confirming my question. I mutter, "At least Shoto is here."

The villain, Moonfish, turns towards us saying, "Uh?"

Shoji with Izuku on his back and me run towards Shoto and Bakugo with Dark Shadow barreling behind us.

Shoji looks up at them saying, "Bakugo! Todoroki!"

I scream, "Shoto!"

Shoji continues, "One of you. Give us some light!"

The villain in the air says, "More flesh!" and sends one of his teeth at us causing me to dodge to the side to avoid being cut.

Dark Shadow roars and hits the ice Shoto had created and almost hit me.

I scream, "Dark Shadow! Calm it down!"

For a split second his eyes go the normal yellow instead of the raging red but then Dark Shadow grabs the villain out of the air so he can't move and he just watches me.

Bakugo and Shoto gasp. Tokoyami screams trying to get control.

Izuku screams, "Kacchan!"

Shoto says, "Shoji, Midoriya, and Cara. And is that...Tokoyami?"

When I don't say anything to Dark Shadow he roars and smashes more ice.

Shoji says, "We need some light now. He's out of control!"

Shoji dodges as Dark Shadow tries to grab him.

Shoto while setting the Class B student on the ground says, "He's attacking blindly. I'll use my fire."

Bakugo puts a hand up and says, "Not so fast."

Dark Shadow had dropped the villain and I get in a ready position as I see the villain using his teeth to get up since he seems to be in a straight jacket suit. Moonfish says, "Flesh. Slabs of meat. No good. Can't allow it. I'm the one who gets to slice them open." All the sudden I see one of his eyes as he says, "Don't steal from me!"

More teeth spring from the villain's mouth going towards Dark Shadow and I scream, "Dark Shadow! Watch out!"

Some of the teeth go through Dark Shadow's face and he says, "You don't matter. Insignificant bug!" Dark Shadow grabs the villain again squeezing him and breaking some of his teeth.

Bakugo says watching the whole thing, "Now, finish him."

Dark Shadow roars and swings the villain around hitting multiple trees before letting him go into a tree where he falls to the ground.

Dark Shadow growls, "Not enough! It's not enough!"

Dark Shadow goes to grab but Shoto and I fire up and send flames at him while Bakugo sets off explosions causing Dark Shadow to squeak.

Dark Shadow is reduced to managable and Tokoyami falls to the ground panting and as my fire goes away Dark Shadow puts his head into my chest as I gently stroke him and murmur, "I know, Dark Shadow."

Shoto lets his fire go and Bakugo lets his explosions die down.

Bakugo says, "I'm a terrible matchup for you, birdboy."

Tokoyami closes his eyes and says, "Thanks. You saved me." Dark Shadow retreats completely into Tokoyami's body.

Shoto turns to the villain at the bottom of the tree saying, "We could barely defend against that guy, but you beat him instantly."

Shoji goes towards Tokoyami and says, "My friend. Are you okay? You did what we needed you to."

Tokoyami still kneeling on the ground says, "Shoji. I apologize. You, too, Midoriya and Cara. I'm still far too immature." Tokoyami looks at his hands as he continues, "Anger consumed me. And I let my Quirk take over. The influence of the darkness, combined with my fury, spurred Dark Shadow into a frenzy. Until...it got so strong, I couldn't contain it. And I ended up hurting Shoji."

Shoji says, "We'll deal with that later." That causes Tokoyami to gasp stunned so Shoji continues, "That's what you'd say if our roles were reversed." Tokoyami looks up gasping.

Izuku laughs slightly.

I say putting my hand on Tokoyami's shoulder, "Plus darkness Quirks are more difficult than most realize. They really do go by our emotions. I should know." I look off into the distance on that before shaking my head and looking back at Tokoyami.

Izuku says, "Okay. I don't know if you heard Mandalay, but I found out the villains are after Kacchan and Cara."

Tokoyami says, "Bakugo? Cara? Are they trying to kill them? Why?"

Izuku says, "I'm not sure. But I think we should get to camp. It's the safest place now, so long as Vlad King and Mr. Aizawa have regrouped there."

Tokoyami nods and says, "I understand."

I say quietly, "And I've been ordered to stay in a group because of being one of their targets. But I've still been tasked with helping others out so once Bakugo is at camp I'll be coming back out."

Tokoyami looks at me and nods. Shoto looking at me asks, "This is what your feeling was, wasn't it?"

I nod and sigh before saying, "More than likely yes. And this is not over I can tell you that."

Tokoyami says, "So our mission is to get Bakugo back to safety by serving as his protectors."

Izuku says, "It's possible the Pussycats are still fighting in the clearing. Going that way would draw the attention of the villains and the only one fast enough to run from them is Cara probably as I got lucky last time. Plus it's longer. We should cut straight across."

Tokoyami says, "We don't know how many enemies there are. We might come across some by chance."

Izuku says, "We can use Shoji's search ability as well as Cara's new found vision through the trees. And Todoroki and Cara's freezing power. And, if Tokoyami's okay with it, we can always use Dark Shadow now that we can actually control him."

Tokoyami turns to me quickly and asks, "How did you calm him slightly before? It was enough to notice though."

I shrug and say, "I don't know I've seemed to always been able to communicate with him easily like you have but that might be due to a similar Quirk of mine except it takes over mostly if I use it." I turn to Izuku and say, "I can't really use Elven Features here because it leaves me open to attacks plus I have to be still for it. Sorry."

Izuku says, "That's fine we can still just use Shoji's search ability."

We stand and look towards where we need to go and Izuku says, "Honestly, with a group like this, we could probably even go up against All Might."

Bakugo, who had been surprisingly silent says, "I'd be fine by myself!"

Shoto looks towards him and says, "We'll surround you as we walk."

Bakugo yells angry, "I don't need any of your protection, dammit!"

Shoji starts to walk forward and says, "Let's go."

Bakugo says, "Don't ignore me."

Shoto falls behind Shoji and says, "Just make sure you keep up."

I walk beside Shoto as Bakugo follows behind saying, "Don't tell me what to do." He growls but continues walking and Tokoyami brings up the rear.

Izuku mutters on Shoji's back, "We'll get everyone back safely. If we can do that, that's all that matters."
