Meanwhile with Shoto, Shoji, and Izuku, they had hit Mr. Compress and made him fall to the ground unbeknowst to them in front of other villains and Izuku says, "Give Kacchan, Cara, and Tokoyami back to us!"

Twice says pointing at them, "Wait, I know these kids! Who are they?"

Dabi puts a hand up as he starts his flames and says, "Out of the way, Compress."

Mr. Compress looks up slightly and says, "Got it." And goes transparent before going away completely into a marble of his own.

Dabi throws blue fire at Shoto, Izuku, and Shoji.

Twice says, "That's cold!"

Shoto dodges one way with Izuku and Shoji dodging the other.

Izuku yells as the fire hits one of his arms.

Shoji yells as he's also caught in the fire, "My arms are burning!"

Shoto has avoided the flames and says, "Midoriya! Shoji!" Shoto looks up as Twice comes towards him.

Twice says while in the air, "The beat-up little boy and you. You're on Shigaraki's kill list! No, they weren't!" Twice grabs a knife out of his costume.

Shoto brings ice out of his right side to go towards Twice.

Twice jumps backwards saying, "So hot!"

Toga sends one of her needle things at Izuku who luckily dodges. Toga runs towards him saying, "Hi, Izuku! My name's Toga!" Her needle thing draws back into the thing on her back as she jumps at Izuku and he lands on his back with Toga giggling. Toga lands on him and says, "I've been thinking since I saw you..." She holds the knife and goes to stab him as she continues, "...that you'd be so much cuter if you just bled a little more! I can help!"

As Toga brings the knife down Shoji hits her off of Izuku with his Dupli-Arms as he yells, "Midoriya!"

Toga flies away a bit before landing and says, "So, that's how it is. You want to come between us?" She flicks her knife backwards while glaring at Shoji and continues, "To be honest, you're not really my type. But I'll cut you anyway."

Shoji gets ready to fight and says, "She's crazy."

Shoto sends more ice at Twice and Twice jumps away from it saying, "Ha, ha! This is easy! Give me all you've got!" Twice cuts through Shoto's ice saying, "Hey, man, cut me some slack!"

Shoto growls and says, "What the hell is with this guy?"

Mr. Compress comes back out of his marble and says, "Ugh. I can't believe you wrecked my exit. Unrehearsed amateurs." Mr. Compress walks towards Dabi.

Dabi walks towards Mr. Compress and says, "You got Bakugo and Cara?"

Mr. Compress says, "Of course." Mr. Compress reaches in his pocket feeling for something and not finding it says, "Huh?"

Shoji says looking back at Shoto and Izuku, "Midoriya. Todoroki. We're done! He gave away his best trick. I'm not sure what your Quirk is but it had to do with those little marbles, right?" Shoji stands as he continues, "The ones you'd stashed in your pocket." Shoji holds up three marbles and says, "So I'm guessing these are Cara, Tokoyami, and Bakugo."

Izuku says with a smile, "You rescued them!"

Mr. Compress says, "Ha, ha, ha! Well, color me impressed. Just as I'd expect from someone with so many hands." Shoji and Izuku go running as Mr. Compress continues, "How splendid."

Shoto puts up a big ice block before running towards them while saying, "Right. Nice job, Shoji."

Dabi puts a hand up saying, "Moron."

Mr. Compress puts his hand up and says, "No, wait."

As Shoto, Izuku, and Shoji run back into the forest Izuku gasps and says, "A Nomu!"

Shoto changes course to the side and says, "Quick, this way!" Shoto stops in his tracks gasping as Kurogiri appears before them.

Shoji says, "Not this guy."

Shoto says, "He was at the USJ."

Izuku says, "The warp villain."

Kurogiri says, "It's been five minutes since the signal. Let's go, Dabi."

Toga goes towards a warp gate next to her as she says, "Sorry, Izuku. But I'll see you later, 'kay?" She walks into the gate and disappears. Twice jumps in the one next to him disappearing as well.

Mr. Compress goes to walk in to the warp gate near him and Dabi when Dabi says, "Hold on. We're not leavin' without the kids."

Mr. Compress says, "Don't worry. There were so proud of themselves for rooting through my pockets that I thought I'd let them gloat."

Shoto, Shoji, and Izuku gasp looking towards Mr. Compress.

Mr. Compress turns away from the gate saying, "But allow me to explain a basic tenant of magic." He starts to remove his mask and continues with half of his face showing, "If I'm flaunting something shiny, it's because there's something else I don't want you to see." Mr. Compress opens his mouth and shows three marbles on his tongue with me, Tokoyami, and Bakugo clearly inside.

Shoto and Izuku gasp and say, "He's got them!"

Mr. Compress snaps his fingers and the three marbles in Shoji's hand show three blocks of Shoto's ice.

Shoto asks, "Is that my ice?"

Mr. Compress narrows his eyes and says, "That's right. During the freezing attack, I prepared dummies and slipped them into my right pocket. And then grabbed the little girl that acts like a pro."

Izuku turns back and says, "Damn it!" And he runs forward muttering, "His Quirk lets him compress and hold things!" Shoji and Shoto join him running forward.

Mr. Compress puts his mack back and says, "A little bit of misdirection. Forgive me. I do so adore a twist ending." He steps backwards into the warp gate.

Izuku yells as Dabi and Mr. Compress are almost gone, "You can't do this!"

Mr. Compress goes to bow and says, "One last bow. And then the curtain fal-"

Aoyama comes out of nowhere with his Navel Laser and breaks through Mr. Compress's mask.

Izuku says, "Aoyama?"

Mr. Compress in shock ends up spitting out all the marbles.

Shoto and Shoji yell reaching for the marbles.

Izuku yells trying to go for them but he falls.

Shoji grabs ahold of one marble and Shoto tries to grab the 2 closest together. However Dabi grabs them first causing Shoto to grunt.

Dabi holds them up smirking at Shoto saying, "Well isn't that a tragedy. Poor little Shoto Todoroki."

Shoto grunts as he had flown past Dabi and hit the ground hard.

Izuku flies forward.

Dabi looks at Mr. Compress and says, "Confirm it now. Release them."

Mr. Compress goes farther into the warp gate saying, "That laser ruined my finale." The last thing seen of Mr. Compress is his hand and he snaps causing the marbles to expand and it's shown the marble Shoji had was Tokoyami and the two Dabi grabbed were me and Bakugo. We appear but our necks are held by Dabi.

Dabi goes backwards in the warp gate pulling Bakugo and I with him and he says, "Checkmate. Heh."

Bakugo growls.

Just before the warp gate closes on me, I yell, "Don't forget to give them to Dad!"

Izuku running forward still, yells, "Kacchan, Cara, no!"

The warp gate slowly closes in on us.

I see Izuku jump yelling, "Kacchan! Cara!"

Bakugo says quietly, "Stay back, Deku!"

The warp gate disappears causing Izuku to fall to the grount grunting. He gets up gasping to see Tokoyami, Shoto, and Shoji looking at the flaming forest. Izuku screams loudly.

Dad got to Ibara, Kodai, and Honenuki and helped them come back to camp.

Yosetsu runs through the forest with Momo on his back going towards the camp.

Itsuka drags Tetsutetsu back to camp and holds a passed out villain, Mustard, in her Big Fist.

Hagakure and Jiro are on the ground still from the gas as are a couple of Class B students.

Tiger and Mandalay stand over part of a headband that has blood on it knowing it belongs to Ragdoll.

Back in the main building, Vlad and Kota stood with one Class B student, Monoma, and 9 of Class A's students, Tenya, Koda, Ojiro, Mineta, Mina, Kaminari, Sato, Sero, and Eijiro.

Ochaco and Tsu are running and panting to get to the others. Getting to the edge of the small clearing the others were in they stopped seeing, Tokoyami, Shoto, and Aoyama standing, and Shoji kneeling beside Izuku on the ground.

On that fateful day, we were aiming to be heroes. But we failed. And the villains won.
