A reporter says, "You spoke about keeping the students safe, Eraserhead. But according to our information, you encouraged them to fight during the attack on the training camp, putting them in grave danger. What was your reasoning for this?"

Dad sits forward and says, "I concluded that because we didn't know the full situation. Allowing them to use their Quirks would help avoid the worst possible outcome."

The same reporter asks, "And what would that outcome be? Do you think 26 victims and two kidnapped children is a win for UA High?"

Dad says, "I assure you that things could have gone much more poorly. I feared every student would be tortured and killed in the end."

Nezu says, "Most of the victims were harmed by the gas attack. We've determined it to be the result of a poisonous Quirk used by one of the villains. It's thanks to the quick actions of Ms. Kendo and Mr. Tetsutetsu that injuries were kept to a bare minimum. Additionally, we're providing mental health counseling to every student, though at the moment, we do not see any signs of serious psychological trauma."

The same reporter says, "So you've found a bright spot in this tragedy?"

Nezu says, "We're relieved that an entire class of burgeoning heroes still has a future."

The reporter says, "Can you say the same thing for the abducted, Katsuki Bakugo and Cara Aizawa?" Dad grunts. The reporter continues, "Katsuki Bakugo enrolled at your school with excellent marks, and went on to be runner-up in the sports festival. Before that, he survived the attack of a powerful sludge villain who eventually had to be taken down by All Might. The boy is obviously strong and heroic. On the other hand, the violence he displayed in the finals and his attitude at the awards ceremony both showed that he cannot control his temper. What if this is the real reason the villains kidnapped him? What if they're brainwashing Bakugo right now, pulling him toward the path of evil? And Cara Aizawa enrolled at your school from the same school as Bakugo with almost perfect marks, and she went on to win the sports festival. And isn't she considered among pro heroes due to having a limited license? She even fought side-by-side with you, Eraserhead, at the attack on the USJ. Years before that, she survived being kidnapped by her own aunt, a villain, after having been tortured by her before after her mother was killed. Considering her strength they could try to get her to join them on the path of evil. How can you sit there and tell us they still have a future?"

Vlad mutters, "This reporter knows exactly what he's doing. He's trying to antagonize us so we say something damning. You can't fall for it, Eraser." Dad stands up and Vlad eyes him sideways as he continues muttering, "He probably knows how much you hate the media. Don't let him trick you."

Dad bows and says, "As Katsuki Bakugo's teacher, I take full responsibility for not taming his violent behavior. However, his actions at the sports festival were born of his deep-seated convictions. He's trying harder than anyone in his pursuit to become the top hero." Dad looks up while still bowing and says, "If the villains think they have a chance with him, then they are grossly mistaken. I can guarantee you that much. As for Cara Aizawa, who is my student as well as my own daughter. I know as do many other pro heroes she has worked with, that she will always put others above herself so the villains have no chance with her either. As you said before she is technically a pro herself due to her training well before her time at UA especially since she is licensed. She was the only student at the training camp that always has permission to engage in a villain fight if it was to happen and she was one of the first to react to try to help other students out of the forest and I know she'd do it again if it was asked of her just like any pro would."

The room gasps upon hearing that I'm his daughter.

The reporter says, "That doesn't amount to real evidence, though. I didn't ask you how you feel, I asked you if you had concrete information."

Nezu says, "We're doing our best with the intel we currently have available. I have no doubt the police will break this case very soon. We won't rest until our missing students are returned to UA."

Bakugo says, "Hah! Did ya hear the teachers? They get me more than I thought." Bakugo steps forward ready to spring and says, "I'll never join your league of bastards!"

I finally hear a click as the chains fall away and I quickly stand beside Bakugo and get ready to fight.

Bakugo mutters, "They went through the trouble of mounting a huge attack, all just to bring me and Cara back here. The idiots even told me what they wanted. For me to join their pathetic group. Which means I know they won't kill me. What a bunch of amateurs. Now's my chance. I gotta take a couple of 'em down quick, and get the hell outta here."

Bakugo says loudly, "We may not be at camp, but I'm still allowed to fight!"

Magne says, "He must've figured out he's important to us. What a clever boy. And the girl seems clever having gotten out of the chains."

Dabi says, "No. He's a fool. But she's a problem."

Toga claps her hands together and says, "Let me stab them."

Mr. Compress says shrugging, "A clever performer would've acted like we were winning him over. Now that he's broken character, he's finished."

I wait for Bakugo to move and I'll attack with him. Bakugo says, "I only do whatever I want to, and I won't even pretend otherwise. And I'm tired of being surrounded by a bunch of lame-ass wannabes."

I watch as Shigaraki lifts his hand up and says, "Father."

Kurogiri leans forward and says, "No, Tomura Shigaraki. Be calm." Kurogiri looks like he's getting ready to use a Warp Gate and I get ready to dodge if needed.

I watch stunned as Shigaraki puts his hand out towards Toga, Kurogiri, and Twice and says, "Don't lay a finger on them. Any of you." Shigaraki leans down and picks up the fallen hand and goes to put it on saying, "These 'heroes'..." He places the hand back and continues, "...are still a valuable piece. I wish you would've listened to what I had to say. I thought you and I could come to an understanding."

Bakugo remembers Best Jeanist saying, "Heroes and villains are cut from the same cloth."

Bakugo says, "What, you think we're the same?" Bakugo smirks before saying, "Not a chance."

Shigaraki says, "Then I have no choice. The heroes said they'd continue their investigation of our group, so we don't have time to stand here and talk." Shigaraki turns and says, "Master. Lend me your power."

The TV speaks and says, "That is a wise decision, Tomura Shigaraki."

I mutter quietly, "All For One."

In Camino Ward, Kanagawa Prefecture, Momo, Shoto, Eijiro, Tenya, and Izuku walk where the receiver takes them.

Momo watches the receiver and says in a whisper to the others stopping at a corner, "Okay, this is the spot the tracker is broadcasting from."

Eijiro says, "So that's their hideout? Not a bad one, I guess."

Momo says, "Maybe it is and maybe it isn't. According to the tracking history, the villain hasn't left this location for the past day. But that's all we know. One villain is hiding here, but that could be it. They might have Bakugo and Cara somewhere else. We're going into his operation completely blind for the most part. Please try to proceed logically."

Tenya says, "I don't like this. None of us are good at sneaking around. We need Hagakure or Jiro or Cara here. If I think things are gonna be the least bit dangerous, we're done. I won't hesitate to call the police, either. To make sure my friends are safe."

Izuku looks down and says, "Thank you, Iida." Izuku looks up towards the building and says, "So, what can we do with what's in front of us? Let me see here."

Izuku brings his hand to his mouth and starts muttering, "The prerequisite is that we don't use our Quirks to fight the villains, and on top of that, we need to figure out..."

Eijiro says, "It's been a while since I've seen him this weird."

Momo says, "Yeah, this is truly peak Midoriya."

Tenya mutters, "That's right. Once you set your heart on something, there's no swaying you. You won't stop. It's what I respect about you as a friend. And a rival. But there must be boundaries. And someone has to make sure you don't cross them. This time, I'll protect you."

In a meeting room with the heroes and the police. Best Jeanist and Gang Orca are in another location with a few other heroes.

Endeavor says, "Why should I clean up UA's mess? I'm a very busy man, as you know."

Best Jeanist says while on a TV screen, "Get off your high horse. You are a UA alum."

Tsukauchi says, "We can't call any heroes away from the school. There's a bigger picture, Endeavor."

Endeavor says, "Tch."

Tsukauchi turning to those there and says, "It's possible this incident is the beginning of the end for Hero society. We'll stop at nothing to resolve this successfully."

Best Jeanist says, "During the internships, I invited Bakugo to my agency to try and reform him. I've met very few as stubborn as he is, the same with Cara who I helped raise. I imagine they're fighting back. We need to hurry."

Gang Orca says standing beside Best Jeanist, "Not even you were able to change his behavior."

Best Jeanist puts a hand to his head and says, "Yes. He was inflexible, pride sewn into his very core."

Tiger says, "My comrade, Ragdoll, was also taken. This is my chance to get her back."

Tsukauchi says, "Thanks to the tracking device set by one of the students, we now believe there are two separate hideout locations. We know from our investigations where the kidnapped victims are located. We'll send the bulk of our forces there. Retrieving Bakugo and Cara is our priority. At the same time, we'll gain control of the other hideout. This will cut off their paths of retreat. We'll arrest them all at once."

Gran Torino says, "Toshinori. If they're recruiting old men like me, then..."

All Might turns to him and says, "What are you suggesting? You're still Gran Torino. And with such staggering stakes at hand. We can be sure that he is involved."

Gran Torino says, "All For One."

Tsukauchi turns to them and says, "We have the element of surprise! These villains will not succeed! At the press conference earlier, we had Principal Nezu act clueless to deceive the villains. We feigned ignorance on camera, as if we didn't have leads. After hearing his words, the villains won't expect us to rush in on the very same day. We'll retaliate! It's time for our counterattack! Remind the world what you can do, Heroes!"
