A blackened and dark sky is looming over a once lush green island, despite the water staying blue, the mainland is not so lucky. From the flora that was once lush and colorful, to the fauna that was thriving and living, it has all turned to lifeless stone. This was the case except for two places across from each other. The locations are a castle on the top of a dormant volcano and the biggest tree on the island. Inside the mammoth castle, the energy is through the roof, as there is a celebration going on. The tables are filled with food and the occupants are animals. Those guests are a small flock of birds and a drove of green pigs. "Jeez, this is one super shindig," a rouge-colored girl bird says with a scientist speech pattern, "I can't believe how much gold is here." Another bird, with a long yellow and red beanie, shakes her head in agreement. "I agree with Dahlia, there's also a lot of colors around here. It could be perfect for my next piece," she says as she looks around. The next birds are a girl and a boy, moving happily to the beat echoing through the halls. While one is bigger and has the features of a parrot, the other one is a little blue bird with big blue eyes. "Man, the music is amazing too Willow!", she says trying to get the art-liking birds' attention. "Do you like the music too, Luca?" the parrot asked the little bird. "You bet, Poppy!", he says smiling the whole song, "This is amazing relief, despite Stella not coming, which I hope she does."
Across from the dancing and partying, one of the birds though, is very impatient, as she is waiting for someone to see her. "Where are you...," the purple bird says as she adjusts a veil and a crown as her expression turns angry, "Where are you, Stella? Your friends, even your best friend, Gale is waiting here..." She then heads to a balcony near the party, to look at the biggest tree through a telescope. At the said tree, a pink bird is sitting near a fire, with a comfy blanket on her body. She is cold, but also sad as she looks from where she is and back to the castle. "I'm sorry, Gale," the bird says wrapping herself with the blanket, "You may tempt my friends with good shelter and food, but you won't tempt me, or my name isn't Stella." She frowns as she knows that it's hard being alone, but this is the right decision for her. Gale is furious as she pulls out a flower and a golden egg, "You want to test my patience, do you? Let's see what you think of this!" As the golden egg comes into contact with the flower, it turns into solid gold, but at the same time, it's at the cost of extinguishing Stella's fire. Much to her anger, Stella wraps herself in the blanket, smiling at the comfort it brings. "Grr...Drat!", Gale exclaims as she can't stand the sight of her smiling and being in comfort, "My servant! Bring me more!" At the command, a pig with a very extensive hairdo comes to her, with a golden vase with even more flowers, "You called for this, my Lady Gale?" She snickers in an evil mood, as she looks back into the telescope, "I certainly did, now to end her comfort once and for all!" At the tree, Stella is now bouncing and bounding all over, trying to find a safe spot from the now crumbling big tree. She tries to get to each of her friends' areas, one by one, but to no avail. As she tries to get to her own house, she is stopped by the tree's destruction. "No... I guess... it's all over...", Stella says as she heads to the castle, in defeat. As she heads to the base of the molten monstrosity. Just then, a sudden bright glow comes from the tree, as Stella stops as she sees the tree trunk glow a bright blue. Gale doesn't notice this, but as her main servant, Handsome Pig, looks through the telescope in that area, he is shocked by the sight. "My Lady, Gale!," he says with sudden panic in his voice, "Stella is not coming here, she's going back to The Big Tree!" Gale looks through the telescope and is also shocked to see what she is looking at. "What?! Nonononono!", Gale shouts in anger and panic as she is looking at Stella going towards the bluish glow, and not towards her castle. "My trusted pigs, Go get Stella at once! Make sure she doesn't escape and leave this island!", Gale says as she cuts the music.
"Stella is leaving the island?!", Luca says in a similar panic, with the others sharing the same mood. "Let's get back to the Tree before Gale gets there!", Willow says, taking the initiative, and leading the way. Stella is miraculously at her little house, packing up her things, and panicking about how much time she has. "I'm sorry, but this is my only way of escaping," she says as she looks back at the faint glow from her window. "There is a new world that has everything that we could ever want, except for you, Gale," she says as she goes down the tree, parkour style. Sporting a red headband, she slides down branches and hops down to each level. She thinks she's free when she reaches the bottom of the tree, only to be met by her friends. Although she is happy to see them, she doesn't see the evil in the distance. That said evil is an army of pigs and Gale leading that charge. "Stella, what do you think you and your friends are doing?!", Gale shouted out at the flock. "Guys, you've got to trust me on this," Stella says hurriedly, as she presents backpacks to her friends, each with their supplies from their own homes, "This is our chance to escape from Gale, please!" As Poppy, Dahlia, Willow, and Luca each take their backpacks, they have unsure looks. "Why should we head through that glow, Stella?", Willow says in confusion. "We don't know where that glow goes and it defies all scientific explanations!", Dahlia screams in disbelief. Poppy and Luca shake their heads in approval of their other besties, but they all soon look at the angry mob that's coming for them. Stella explains that through the glow, as a voice from the glow itself said, there is a world that is filled to the brim with amazing views, culture, and love. Not only that but there are amazing creatures there called Pokémon. At those mentions from that hopeful world, they try to compare to what they are going through now. Each one of Stella's friends soon looks to her in agreement, now each with their backpacks on. "I don't know what world this is, but hopefully it'll be a painter's heaven to me...", Willow says as she looks to face the core of the tree. "Hopefully, there's gonna be some fun and music there!", Poppy says, shaking her tail feathers. "I don't know exactly what you are talking about, but this can work out for me, as long as there is science involved..." Dahlia says with a little worry. "No need to worry, Stella, I'll be here with you, until the end of time!", Luca says as he then looks back to see the scary sight, "Let's go, cause they are a'coming!" Gale shouts to them to stop and cease their prattle. But, of course, Stella tells them to not listen and head through the blue glow. The pigs try to help Gale's cause, but it's too late for them. As Gale makes the final command, the bird besties head through the light, just in the nick of time. As they all head to the now dimming light, the pigs and Gale crash into the tree, with bumps and bruises all over. Gale is frustrated beyond belief as she couldn't believe that she failed. "Stella, I can't believe you and your friends would throw all of this away!," she grumbles to herself, "I swear, you will know nothing but pain and suffering, and that you'll be back to me, Queen Gale of Golden Island!"
As the birds travel through the glow, they are bracing themselves for what is to come. Stella then notices a portal getting bigger and bigger as it expands to show another huge island. The island itself is one of five islands in this incredible skydive view. "What is that?", Luca says as he joins Stella at her side. "It looks like, another Island?", she says in confusion and excitement. "Looks like, we're gonna hit the water, Stella!", Dahlia says in a bit of fear, "Should I suggest the theory of bracing for impact?" The others agree and hold onto each other tight, bracing themselves for the splash to come. As they hit the water, the current carries them to the mainland, where a few creatures are coming toward them. "What... are... you... doing...," Stella says as she looks on at the shadows of creature figures carrying them to an unknown location.
