A/N: I got bored. I thought that since the Cullens had all that money, they could do this. Whoops. I've said too much.
Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight or the game Battleship.
It was a rainy day in Forks. What a surprise. All the Cullens had gone hunting with the exception of Emmet and Jasper.
"I'm bored," Emmett whined.
"Me too." Jasper said.
"Let's play a game."
"Okay."
The pair walked over to the game closet to see what games they had. One in particular caught Emmett's eye.
"How about Battleship?"
"Sure. Sounds fun."
They set the game up and put the ships in their places.
"E3."
"Nope. My turn Emmett."
"Dang."
Within a few minutes, Jasper had managed to sink all of Emmett's ships except his battleship. Although he only had one more spot to hit.
"J5."
"Gah! You sank my freakin' battleship!"
"Yes! I win!"
"That was boring. I say we play the real live version."
"You're on."
Emmett was hoping he could beat Jazz at this kind of Battleship. But, we all know I wouldn't let him get away with that. They each bought a brand knew battleship on the black market.
"Ok." Jasper yelled. For Emmett was 100 ft. away from him. "Whoever sinks the other boat first wins."
"Gotcha!"
Their cannons went wild. Holes decorated both ships. Finally, Jasper found a huge cannon ball and used it. Of course, since Emmett's ship was hanging by a thread, the cannon ball sunk it.
"Gah! You sank my battleship. AGAIN! How do you always beat me Jasper? How? Who is making this happen?"
Let's keep that part our little secret, eh? No need for an angry vampire to come after me. Anyway, on with the story.
"Admit it, Em! You suck at games!"
"Dammit! I'm tired of you always winning! I swear I'll win the next one!"
But little does Emmett know, Fate(a.k.a me) doesn't want him to win a game because it's so much more fun that way.
