All Might says to Izuku outside his apartment next to a taxi, "She entrusted you to my care, Young Midoriya. She wants me to be a mentor. To act like a natural-born hero instead of the Symbol of Peace. You have a really good mother."

Izuku looks down at the ground and says, "I do."

All Might says, "You know, she reminds me of my predecessor."

Izuku says, "She does? Wait, how so?"

All Might points to his head and said, "It's the hairstyle."

Izuku says, "O-Oh, sure."

All Might puts up his arm in a strong pose and says, "And she's got the mighty heart of a hero!"

A woman walking by says, "Ew. Look at that walking skeleton!"

All Might gasps and says, "Crap. Now everyone recognizes me in this form, too. I forgot." All Might opens the cab door and says, "Well, see you at school."

All Might gets in as Izuku says, "Right. Cool!"

Izuku watches as the cab rolls away.

After Izuku's mother gave him permission, he left home and started a new life. In fact all of us were since we were able to convince all parents of Class A's students to allow them to come back and be in the dorms.

On the edge of UA's campus, about a five-minute walk from the main school, they built a student dorm. Heights Alliance, constructed in just three days. This was my - no - our new home.

Nezu says looking out at the new dorms with me behind him, "The new dorm system we put into place isn't just to ensure the safety of our students. It's also how we're addressing one of the threats we've yet to take care of. The leak. A feeling of unease has settled upon our school. To help alleviate that, we'll be holding a private, behind-the-scenes investigation. It pains me to suspect not just the teachers, but the students as well. Unfortunately, right now, I have no other choice. We've lost the symbol of peace. And I have no doubt that this will have big ramifications on us as time passes. What UA needs right now is positive energy and revitalization. We must remind the children that there's a bright future ahead of them despite what they've endured."

Nezu turns to me and says, "I want you to keep an eye out for anything suspicious and let me know, Young Cara. I trust your instincts."

Dad in front of the class and me beside Shoto holding his hand as the only way I feel comfortable away from Dad is with Shoto.

Dad says, "Given everything that has happened, I'm glad we were able to bring Class A back together."

Sero says, "So, we all got the go ahead to move on-campus."

Hagakure sighs and says, "It took a lot of convincing for my parents."

Jiro says with a finger to her cheek, "I was pretty concerned about mine."

Ojiro says, "It makes sense. You got the worst of the gas attack."

Tsu says, "We're glad to see the teachers got to come back, too. I was afraid you wouldn't be allowed. The people at the press conference seemed pretty upset with you guys."

Ochaco says, "Yeah."

Dad says, "I was surprised, as well. But circumstances have changed." Dad mutters to himself and I know only I can hear, "I suspect it was easier for administration to let the teacher's return instead of revamping the entire faculty." Dad continues at a level everyone can hear, "Now, then. I'll explain how your dorm assignments will work shortly." Dad claps his hands together and says, "First, however...We haven't forgotten about the provisional hero licenses you were supposed to get during the training camp."

Sato says, "Oh, yeah! That's what we were there for."

Mina says, "So much has happened, it totally slipped my mind."

Dad says, "This is important, listen well. Kirishima. Yaoyorozu. Todoroki. Midoriya. Iida. You five are the ones who broke the rules and went to rescue Bakugo and Cara that night."

Tsu says, "Ribbit."

All is silent for a few minutes. Dad sighs and says, "Based on your reactions, I assume the rest of you were at least aware of their plan." The wind picks up as I know my nerves our on edge and I'm trembling which has Shoto squeeze my hand in reassurance. I'm not sure if the wind is me because Elven Features can do that or if it is natural. Dad continues, "I'm going to set aside a number of issues and just say this. If it weren't for All Might's retirement from the Hero scene, I would expel everyone here except Bakugo, Jiro, Hagakure, and Cara. The five of you who went, of course. But also the remaining 12 who didn't stop them. You betrayed our trust. Even if it was to keep your friends from getting into trouble. In order to regain our confidence, you'll need to obey every rule to the letter, and live as model students. That's all." Dad turns to Heights Alliance dorms with 1-A written on it saying, "Now. Look alive. Enjoy your new home." Dad walks towards the building.

Sero and Kaminari say, "Uh. We're supposed to be excited after that speech?"

Bakugo looks towards Eijiro and Kaminari says, "Tch." Bakugo grabs Kaminari by the shirt and drags him off towards a bush.

Kaminari says, "Uh - Huh? Wait. For what?" Kaminari yells as electricity starts coming from the bush. Kaminari comes out of the bus with thumbs up saying, "Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay."

Jiro starts laughing like crazy spitting.

Sero says, "Dude. What'd Bakugo do to you?"

Bakugo walks to Eijiro and says, "Kirishima!" Eijiro turns to Bakugo and pulls out a wade of cash and gives it to him.

Eijiro says, "Whoa, did you shake him down for cash?!"

Bakugo says, "No! This is my money, you idiot. To replace what you spent."

Eijiro says, "Uh. How'd you know I bought night vision goggles?"

Bakugo grunts pushing the money in Eijiro's chest who takes it. Bakugo walks away towards the dorm saying, "Don't say I never gave you anything. Now I'm not in your debt. Kaminari, show 'em your dumb side."

Kaminari still gives thumbs up with a dumb look on his face.

Jiro laughs and says, "Oh, man. What a moron. You're so hopeless."

Kaminari keeps yelling and the other students laugh. I let go of Shoto's hand and look off at the dorm.

Sero says, "It isn't funny, guys!"

Eijiro says, "Thanks, man."

Dad mutters at the door of the dorms, "Sometimes blowing off steam is the best thing to do, I guess."

Eijiro says, "Sorry, everyone! I know this won't make up for it, but let's all go eat yakiniku tonight on me!"

The students cheer.

Kaminari says, "Yay!"

We finally walk into the dorm and see a big spacious common area.

Dad says, "Each student dormitory holds one class. Girls are on the right and boys are on the left. The entire first floor is a common area. That's where you'll find your kitchen, baths, and laundry rooms."

We all look around and Hagakure says, "Ah!"

Sero says, "There's even a courtyard."

Mina says, "So spacious and new!" She continues laughing.

Ochaco looking around wide eyed says, "I'm living in a mansion."

Ochaco falls near Tenya who says, "Uraraka!"

Mineta says, "'Doth mine ears deceive me? Our baths...are located in the common space?" He gulps and says, "Is this heaven?"

Dad says glaring at Mineta, "They're separated by gender, and you'll behave yourself."

Mineta says going white as a sheet, "Yes, sir."

Dad says, "Living quarters start on the next floor. Four boys and four girls on each level. Everyone gets their own room. You should be comfortable. You've got your own AC, toilets, fridges, and closets."

Izuku looking over a balcony says, "We have balconies?! Wow!"

Momo says, "This room is about the same size as my closet at home, but I'll manage."

Ochaco says, "It's the size of my house!"

Ochaco again falls to the floor and Tenya says, "Uraraka!"

Dad points to a map and says, "These are your dorm assignments. The belongings you sent ahead have already been placed in your new rooms, so spend the day unpacking and getting settled. I'll tell you more about your next few lessons tomorrow. For now, get to work."

They all say, "Yes, Mr. Aizawa!"

The map shows that Floor 2 rooms are Mineta, Izuku, Aoyama, and Tokoyami for the boys and no girls on that floor. Floor 3 is Koda, Kaminari, Tenya, and Ojiro for the boys and Jiro and Hagakure for the girls on that floor with 2 empty rooms between them. Floor 4 has Shoji, Eijiro, Bakugo, and the last room for the boys is empty and Ochaco and Mina for the girls for that floor with 2 empty rooms between them as well. And lastly, Floor 5 has the first room empty, then Sato, Sero, and Shoto for the boys and Momo, Tsu, and me for the girls with an empty room between me and Tsu. So Shoto is in the room right across from mine.

We all go to prepare our rooms until dark.

I finished my room first due to my speed so I'm one of the first sitting in the common room on the floor waiting for Shoto to be done as he had helped me install floor mats on the hardwood floor that he had brought so I could have some as he knows I liked them at his house.

Eijiro sits on the couch saying, "Ah, I'm so beat."

Sero says, "You and me both. You done unpacking?"

Eijiro says, "I think so."

Izuku says, "Feels good, right?"

Kaminari says, "I know we could've died. But it's kind of exciting to be living here."

Izuku nods looking at him and says, "Mm-hm!"

Tenya while standing puts his arm up and says, "A unified class. It's the perfect way to increase our cooperation and discipline. How smart!"

Eijiro says looking at Tenya, "So you never relax, do you?"

Mina walks in and says, "Hiya, boys. All done with your rooms?" Momo, Ochaco, Hagakure, and Jiro are following behind her.

Kaminari says turning to them, "Yup, we're just unwinding now."

Mina says, "Well, the girls and I have been talking and..."

Hagakure steps forward saying, "We have a great idea!"

Mina giggles and says, "Let's go 'round and see who has the coolest room!"

Mineta, Tokoyami, and Izuku look shocked. I shrug and follow curious on everyone's room though I stay at the doorway of each room.

Izuku screams as we get to his and says, "No, wait, you can't go in there! Please, it's not fit for-"

The girls squeal as they see his All Might room.

Ochaco says, "It's All Might everywhere! You're such a fanboy!"

Izuku says hoovering over his desk, "Well, I admire him...This is embarrassing."

Kaminari says, "Does this mean...they're judging our rooms, too?"

Sero says, "Probably, could end up a good time."

We go to Tokoyami's room next as he stands at the door saying, "No way."

Mina and Hagakure try to push him out of the way and it takes a little bit but they succeed and go into his room and I actually like how dark it is.

Mina and Hagakure say together, "So dark and scary!"

Tokoyami says, "You fiends."

Eijiro holds something and says, "Oh, man, I had a keychain like this when I was in middle school."

Mina says, "So this is how boys like to decorate."

Tokoyami says, "Please leave."

Izuku goes towards a sword and says, "A sword?! So cool!"

Tokoyami says, "Get out!"

We go to Aoyama's next and I step away quickly as it has too many sparkles. Aoyama says posing, "Aren't you dazzled?"

The students there say, "Shiny..."

Aoyama says wagging his finger, "No, no. It's not shiny, it's...Mag...ni...fique."

Kaminari, Mina, and Momo walk away. Hagakure says, "Exactly what I pictured."

Mina says, "Honestly, I expected more."

Ochaco says jumping, "This is turning out to be really fun! The last person on this floor is."

Mineta peeks around his door panting and says, "Hey. Come on in girls, I've got so much to show you."

I say, "I'm not going near there."

We all walk away and Ochaco says, "So, the third floor?"

Mineta asks as we walk away, "Where are you going? Come back!"

We get up to the 3rd floor and go to Ojiro's room first. His room is very bare and minimal.

Ochaco says, "Ooh...It's so bare in here!"

Hagakure says, "Did you move anything in at all?" I see Ojiro's tail droop at what the girls are saying.

Mina says, "Please tell me you just haven't unpacked yet."

Ojiro turns and says, "Um, if we're done here, then let's go."

We go to Tenya's room next and I like his room for sure.

Ochaco says, "Whoa! It looks like a library in here!"

Mina says, "That's the class rep for you."

Tenya says, "You'll find nothing odd in here."

Ochaco laughs at all the glasses Tenya has lined up on 4 shelves. Ochaco says, "You have so many glasses."

Tenya says, "Of course I do! I expect them all to be destroyed during training!"

We go to Kaminari's room next and I'm not even sure how to describe his room.

Mina, Ochaco, Hagakure, and Jiro all ask, "Really?"

Jiro says, "This is the store in the mall that I'd avoid."

Kaminari says, "What? It's perfect!"

The last boy's room on Floor 3 is Koda's and surprisingly it reminds me of a kid's room.

Ochaco and Mina say seeing the rabbit, "He has a rabbit! It's so cute!"

Kaminari says, "Hey, no fair, we don't get pets. You're trying to buy the judges' love!"

Izuku mutters, "Everyone's really getting into the competition."

Kaminari says, "Man, this sucks. I feel so judged right now."

Ojiro says, "Hey, what a coincidence. I don't feel great. At all."

Tokoyami says, "Same here."

Aoyama says, "Et moi."

Mineta comes walking up, "That's because the boys are the only ones who are getting picked on. They said it was a contest to see who has the coolest dorm room. Well, what about them?! We have to see the girls' rooms to tell which one's best. They're interior design skills should be held to the same standard as ours. Maybe even higher. Show us those dorms!"

A lightning flash makes me jump and have fire flare up on my right side causing Shoto to grab my hand and put it out with his ice. This surprisingly convincing argument from Mineta hit home, and stoked our competitive spirit.

Mina says clapping her hands together, "I'm into it!"

Jiro says, "Huh?"

Even the most completely uninterested got involved. And that is how the very first Class 1-A Best Room contest got its start!

Izuku gulps and mutters, "The girls' dorms? I suppose. If we must!"

Mina says, "Okay, so, like, what're the rules? Are we figuring out who has the best taste in the class, or just the overall coolest?"

Jiro asks, "We're doing this?"

Ojiro says, "Uh, this doesn't have to be a contest."

Mineta smirks and I say, "Don't you think about it, Mineta."

Mineta mutters, "If I was the only one asking to see the other rooms, then everyone would yell at me. But, since all these guys with bruised egos are on board, I get to join in all inconspicuous like. The whole class is doing it, so why shouldn't I, right?" Mineta cackles and starts drooling. He continues muttering, "I'm gonna be rummaging through the girls' rooms. Who knows what scintillating secrets I'll find."

Shoto mutters, "I'm over it." We get up to Floor 4.

Ochaco says, "Let's see, who else is on the fourth floor. It's Bakugo, Kirishima, and Shoji, isn't it?"

Tenya says, "Where is Bakugo?"

Eijiro scratches his head and says, "Uh, he thought this was lame, so he went back to his room to sleep. I could use some Zs, too."

Hagakure and Mina run forward. Hagakure says, "Then we'll do your room next."

Mina says, "You can sleep all you want after."

Eijiro puts his head to the door and says, "Not that I care. But you might not get what I'm goin' for." He opens the door and says, "a den of manliness!"

Mina nods and Hagakure points saying, "If I found out my boyfriend had a room that looked like this, I'd dump him."

Ochaco says, "So bold! Makes me wanna work out!"

Eijiro gives her a thumbs up and says, "You get it."

I smile and say, "Nice room, Eijiro."

Mina walks away saying, "Next up, Shoji."

Shoji stands in front of his door and says, "You're not gonna find anything interesting here." He opens the door and it's even more minimalist from Ojiro's.

Mina says, "Uh...More like nothing at all, dude."

Shoto turns to Shoji and says, "So, you're a minimalist, huh?"

Shoji says, "I've just never understood why someone would wanna fill their room with junk."

Mineta looks through the sheets and says, "Guys like this always have a super pervy side."

I go with the others as they push a button on the elevator to head up to the fifth floor.

Hagakure says, "All done! Let's head up to the fifth floor."

Mina says, "We'll start with Sero."

Sero says, "Are we seriously doing everyone?" Sero smirks showing his room.

The girls all say, "Wow!"

Mina says, "Exotic!"

Ochaco says, "It's lovely!"

Jiro says, "Sero, I didn't peg you for someone who'd like this stuff."

Sero says, "He, he, he. Yup, that's me, always the wild card."

Hagakure goes forward and says, "Let's keep moving!"

Momo says, "Next is Todoroki's room, right?" Momo mutters to herself, "The most capable student in our class with Cara."

Mina mutters, "The most handsome boy in school. Too bad Cara's dating him."

Hagakure mutters, "A chance to glance into his quiet private life. How exciting!"

Shoto holds my hand tighter and opens his door saying, "Let's get this over with. It's late."

Sero and Mina yell, "So Japanese!"

Kaminari says, "It was even built differently!"

Shoto says, "We've got these kinds of floor mats at my home. They're much more comfortable than hardwood."

Kaminari turns and says loudly, "This isn't your house!"

Mineta turns and says, "How did you remodel this entire room in just one day?"

Shoto says, "With hard work."

Kaminari says, "You are a beast."

Hagakure says while leaving, "He'll make such a good pro."

Sato says, "Pretty boys always have tricks up their sleeves."

Mina says, "Okay, next! The last of the guys is..."

Sato grunts and says, "Me..."

We see into Sato's room and it reminds me of a kitchen.

Sato says, "Anyway, it's a pretty boring room."

Eijiro says, "All of them are after Todoroki's."

Ojiro says, "Something smells good, though. What is it?"

Sato says, "Oh, crap. I forgot about that! I finished unpacking really early. So I started to bake a chiffon cake. I thought we could all eat it together. It hasn't been iced yet, but, want some?"

Mina, Hagakure, and Ochaco go running in and say, "Yeah!"

Kaminari and Mineta say together, "The strong guy's an expert baker?!"

The girls start eating the cake and Sato hands me a piece and I say, "We should bake some things together sometime, Sato. Dad doesn't really bake so it would be nice to with someone."

Ochaco says after eating some of the cake, "It's delicious! So fluffy."

Hagakure says, "I could eat it every day."

Mina says, "Forget Sero, this is unexpected."

Jiro says, "Mm-mm!"

Momo says, "I think it's great that you have such a fun hobby, Sato. Would you like to bake something to go with my tea one day?"

Sato goes red and says, "Uh. I seriously did not expect this reaction. Mostly I bake as part of the training for my sugar Quirk. Store bought sweets can get pricey."

Hagakure says leaving the room, "That's it for the boys. Now, it's our turn, ladies."

Jiro says, "Aw, man, that's so many rooms. Shouldn't we turn in?"

Mina says, "Come on, Jiro, live a little."

We go down to Floor 3 where Jiro and Hagakure's rooms are.

Jiro opens her door and says, "It's kind of embarrassing." Jiro's room is full of musical instruments making my mouth fall open somewhat envious.

Kaminari says, "Whoa, you've got so many instruments!"

Jiro stands there pushing her earjacks together and watching as everyone looks at her stuff.

Hagakure says, "It's because Jiro's totally punk rock."

Ochaco says, "Can you play all these?"

Jiro says, "Yeah. At least a little."

Kaminari says to Aoyama, "Your room's girlier than this."

Aoyama puts his hand in the air and says, "Because I've got style."

Jiro turns around and puts an earphone jack in both Kaminari and Aoyama's ear. Jiro says, "We're done here."

Hagakure says, "Next is me! Welcome in, guys! What do ya think?" I step back from her room as it is way too much pink.

Ojiro says, "A-Ah..."

Kaminari says, "Now this is girly. So pink..."

Mineta goes towards Hagakure's drawers smelling and says, "Plus Ultra!"

Hagakure says, "Get away from there, Mineta, you perv!"

Mina says, "We can do mine next!"

We go up to the fourth floor that has Mina and Ochaco's rooms.

Mina opens her door and says, "Ta-dah! Isn't it super cute?" Again it's too much pink for me causing me to back away.

The others students say, "Whoa..."

We go to Ochaco's room next and it's kinda plain.

Ochaco stands in there scratching her head and says, "Yeah, it's not very interesting, I know."

The students say, "Wow..."

Ojiro says towards Tokoyami as they stand in the doorway, "Is this okay? It feels dirty seeing so many girls' rooms up close. This is their private space."

Tokoyami nods and says, "Forbidden gardens."

We go up to Floor 5 that Tsu, Momo, and I are on.

Izuku says, "Next is Asui."

Kaminari, Izuku, and Sero look around and say, "Wait, where is Tsu? Haven't seen her."

Ochaco says, "Oh, she wasn't feeling too good. So she's in her room."

Kaminari says, "Well, we shouldn't bother her. She can show us later when she's feeling better."

As we walk away from Tsu's door she opens it a crack.

Sero says, "Then the next one up is Yaoyorozu."

Momo opens it a crack and says, "The thing is...I...maybe miscalculated a few things. My room's a little bit more cramped than I intended. And maybe not as creative as some of yours."

Kaminari's mouth gaps and he says, "That bed is huge! You can't even walk in here!"

Momo says, "It's my furniture from home, so I thought it'd fit. I had no idea how small these dorm rooms would end up being."

Ochaco and Izuku say together, "I forget how rich she is."

We go out of her room and walk down the hall a bit stopping outside of my door to which I go forward.

Sero says, "Then the last one up is Cara."

I smile and say, "Thanks, Sero. It's not much really." I open my door and they step in.

I have a full sized bed pushed in the back corner of the room with a royal purple comforter on it and on it lays my agouti wooly Siberian Husky, named Calliope or Cali for short. The floor is the same mats as Shoto's room that he had given me. I have a normal desk pushed against one wall. And I have 2 hero posters hanging on the wall above the desk one is of my Dad and the other is of my Mother who passed years ago. And in a glass case pushed in a corner is my first hero costume that looks identical to Dad's just with silver goggles. On the wall crossed is two swords that look similar to Lord of the Rings swords and two daggers that also look like they are from Lord of the Rings. In the third corner is a swivel chair with bookshelves floor to ceiling all the way to the door. And on the balcony they can see gymnastics bars and weights for me to work out with.

Momo says, "Wow!"

Hagakure asks, "How come you have the same floor as Todoroki?"

I say smiling at Shoto next to me, "Shoto was nice enough to bring extra for me to have and helped me install it. He knew I liked it from his house when we were little."

Hagakure says, "Aw! That's so thoughtful and cute!"

Mina goes to my husky and says, "Aw! She's so adorable! What's her name?"

Kaminari asks, "How come you have a dog?"

I smile and say, "Come here, Calliope." Calliope runs to me and licks my hand. I say, "Her name is Calliope but she also answers to Cali. She's only 2 years old but she's really well trained. I'm hoping to breed her to have puppies soon. As for why I have her she helps me with my past plus with Dad and I here no one is at home so Nezu allowed me to bring her. Plus if you asked you were allowed to have a pet as long as it isn't destructive." Cali goes back to my bed and we leave my room and go back to the common area.

Mina holds a hold and we each put in our pick for best room.

Mina says, "All right, everybody. Has everyone got their votes in? Remember, you can't pick yourself, guys."

Mina counts them and says, "And now, without further ado, here are the results of the first Best Room competition, minus Bakugo and Tsu. Drumroll, please!" She pauses for effect and says, "With a total of five votes, the overwhelming winner of this totally awesome contest is...Rikido Sato!"

Sato points at himself and says, "Uh?"

Mina says, "By the way, all the girls except Cara voted for you. Because...That cake was delicious. I want some more."

Sato says, "That's why?!"

Kaminari and Mineta try to go at Sato saying, "You villain! Aspiring heroes shouldn't resort to bribery!"

Sato says, "It wasn't on purpose! But what the heck!"

Shoto turns to Izuku and Tenya and asks, "Is it over? Can I sleep now?"

Tenya says, "Yes, and since you had cake, don't forget to brush your teeth!"

Shoto and I go to walk away and Izuku says, "Thanks for sticking it out."

Ochaco says, "Hey! Todoroki, wait a minute."

Shoto stops and turns towards her. Ochaco says, "Deku and Iida, you, too. Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, you have a sec? It's really important."

Izuku gasps.

She has us come outside though I knew I didn't have to I went with Shoto.

Eijiro asks once we are outside, "So, uh. Where are we going?" He gasps seeing Tsu outside.

Ochaco says, "Right here. Tsu said she had something she wanted to tell everyone."

Tsu says, "You guys know I'm pretty straightforward, and always speak what's on my mind. But sometimes...I don't know. I'm at a loss. Remember what I said back at the hospital? When you were talking about the rescue..."

Izuku says looking down, "Yeah. Every word."

Tsu says, "My heart was hurting. And the things I said must've upset you."

Ochaco comforts Tsu and says, "It's okay, Tsu."

Tsu says, "Despite my warning, you still went and saved Bakugo and Cara. I didn't know that until this morning. I thought I'd stopped you. But it turns out I was worthless. A complete failure. And suddenly I had no idea what to say. I didn't think I deserved to joke around and have fun with everyone like usual. But..." Tsu looks up crying and continues, "It made me...so sad to be without you. That's why I wanted to talk to you. Even if I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to be feeling. I wanted you to know so we can hang out and talk and have a good time again. Ribbit." She holds her face.

Ochaco says, "It's not just you who thinks that. Everyone...felt pretty bad and...wanted things back the way they used to be before. That's why we did the room contest. To bring us closer together and make us feel like a class again. It's all we could come up with, so please don't think we were trying to trick you or anything. Look, what I'm saying is, let's all work hard at our training and be good friends again, okay?"

Eijiro says, "Tsu!" He runs forward crying and says, "I'm sorry! Thanks for telling us how you feel!"

Momo runs forward too and says, "It's okay."

Tenya runs forward saying, "I apologize."

Shoto says, "You shouldn't feel bad."

Izuku says, "Asu - Tsu!"

Eijiro shakes Tsu and says, "Listen. I won't make you sad again!"

Momo puts her hand on Tsu's head and says, "Me either."
