Chapter 1 To a new World!
Southeast of England, the remains of King Arthur castle 23 rd of April 2024
A young male Human was walking through a Forrest and nearby the remains of the castle that once belonged to King Arthur. His name was Sin, a 22-year-old white human, as the wind hit his messy, mahogany long hair as he walked around. Sin face had a few scars on it, as he stood about 5 ft 11 tall. While his silver eyes looked around, trying to spot something.
Sin was also well built for his body's tone but not crazy like a bodybuilder was. While his blue jeans were also covered in dirt and grime. Like his "Ask me about my zombie plan shirt".
Strap on Sin back was a large backpack, as he carried a crossbow in his hand and a black handgun on his waist. Now you ask why he would have all these weapons. As well as why he was around a destroyed castle anyway?
Well, the world had gone to shit from hate speech. Family, friends and co-workers kill each other in blind rage for their beliefs. It angered him so much; how could his kind do this to each other? So much death and sadness had come from it, which was why he was here to escape it all.
This is why he was here since he was hiding from the death and chaos of the Human cities since he had lost nearly everything to the chaos.
"Rooooar!"
Sin turns his head to the sound of the noise. As he moved his hand up, a blur came right at him before being pounced on and knocked him to the ground. He then looks up to see a bloody face of a fully-grown Lioness looking down at him.
"Ha funny Zira, you got me, girl." Sin said while he laughed deeply, then nuzzling the Lioness.
The Lioness purred before rubbing her face on the Human face in a friendly greeting, before moving off Sin as he slowly got back up to look at the Lioness.
Sin mother was the head Lion keeper of the Longleat safari park, and it was one of the reasons why he spent time around big Cats as a kid. His bond was solid with Zira since he helped raise her from a cub. They were always attached to each other growing up like a brother and sister would be.
Sin had been a lover of big Cats and Dragons from a young age. Since Dragons were mythic creatures and not real, sadly, he spent more of his free time bonding with the big cats. His fav was Lions; from a young age, he had help with his mum looking after the cubs and cleaning up the cages when he was a teenager. It helped his mum, a well-respected big Cat keeper so that he could spend more time around them.
When Sin was away from the Zoo, he joined the arm forces from the age of 17 to 21 years old. He had moved up the ranks till he got picked to join the SAS at 19. It was a proud moment for him and his mum to be part of the SAS.
One of the most feared and most powerful Special Forces in the world. He went to many parts of the world, mainly Africa. At the same time, he was going through harsh areas to rescue hostages from many terrorist groups. But at age 21, he had asked to leave the forces due to the worrying news of his mother's health decline. They had agreed to let him go under these reasons and told him they would be delighted to take him back if he resigned from the forces.
Sin was happy to be back at the safari park so that he could see Zira once again. With what was going on in the world, he felt peace. But peace didn't last long, and that day that destroyed his world the murder of his mother.
Tears filled his eyes at the memory he never wanted to remember. His mum's screams echo in his head as his hand tightens before he feels Zira nuzzle his hand. He turns to look at her as she gives off a worried look. Sin smiles as he nuzzles her back.
"It's ok, Zira, just remembering what happened to Mum. Let's go see what you caught." Sin said to her with a small smile.
Zira purred a bit more as her tail wrapped around his arm, and she led him threw a bush. In front of them was a dead wild boar. The jugular was ripped out from how Zira had made the kill.
Sin smiled as he petted her head, causing her to coo, and then walked over to the kill. As part of the SAS, they would try out new stuff on the soldiers. One thing was an injection they took to eat raw meat. Since to help them with stealth in the wildness when on an extended mission and stop giving away their location from cooking. So, it looks more like wild predators eating than an army of their enemies. To their target, they were going after.
Sure, it worked, and it was ok, but Sin would cook the meat when he could. Strangely, it helps bond him and Zira even closer. He then pulled out a hunting knife as he watched Zira left ear twitch. He then ran a finger across the part of her ear that her dad bit off as a cub.
Sin smiled at thinking about naming her after his fav movie. He loved that movie, and Nala and Zira were his favs from the series!
Sin watched as Zira ripped into the pig, snaring as the blood stained more of her fur. At the same time, she gave out snares of warning to say to stay away from her part of the kill. Sin moved to sit down as he started to cut into the pig. He started cutting off the skin before chucking the skin at Zira. She happily gulps it down in one gulp purring at the taste.
The smell of iron filled his nose, and he felt the blood twinkle over his hands as he cut into the pig before pulling a large chuck of meat. Then biting into it as blood dripped over his face, the snares of Zira eating her part filled his ears.
It was not as good as cooked bacon, but it would do as he helped himself another bit before leaving the rest to her. Sin then moved to wash his face in the stream nearby. He used his hand to cup the water from the stream, splashing it into his face before something caught his attention from across the creek.
Wait, isn't that the sword they use to tell the story of the sword in and the stone, Sin thought to himself. He then saw Zira walk over to him, purring happily.
"I'm glad that you enjoy your meal." Sin said to her with a smile.
Sin then told her to follow him as he crossed over the stream where the sword was sticking in the stone. Sin then let out a dry chuckle, thinking about the people who used to look after the castle. It kept up the myth of king Arthur and the knights of the round table and how this sword was exposed to be "Excalibur".
A sword that whoever could pull out would be gifted with powers and become the King or Queen of England. But that was just a silly child story. This entire thing was a sword for the show to help bring money for the area.
But heck, he could use a sword to deal with any person who tries to attack him or Zira. Plus, it looked very cool, as he saw Celtic writing on the metal blade. As well, there was a Dragon and Lion on it too. His two-fav things as he turns to see Zira looking at him with worry look on her face.
"It is fine, Zira. It is just a sword. What could go wrong." Sin said to her as he looked down at her.
She just let out a breath of air to sigh, watching her brother grunt in annoyance that the sword was stuck. Before sitting on her rump to watch in amusement, Sin climbs onto the stone to get a better grip as he pulls on the sword.
"Come on, you fucking stupid piece of metal, wooo, there we go, wow." Sin yelled triumphantly before slipping off the stone and landing in the dirt.
Zira turns to see Sin groaning holding the sword in his hand, as she lets out a smirk. But her eyes then lit up huge seeing a bright white glow from the hole where the sword had come from. It was getting larger by the second, as Sin moaned while he dusted himself off before standing back up.
"See, Zira, what did I tell you? Ummm, what the fu…?" Sin said mockingly to her before stopping and seeing the bright light coming right at them.
Sin and Zira let out a yell and roar of pure fear as they were knocked out cold. From the outside world, it looked like a white cloud had covered the Human and Lioness for a second.
Then the cloud implodes on itself as the smoke clears. Were Sin and Zira were 2 seconds ago, now was nothing apart from their pig meal.
Forrest behind the Dragon temple, Dragon realm
It had been three months after Spyro and Cynder had defeated Malefor, the evil purple Dragon, stopping him from doing the great cleansing.
After recovering from the battle, they returned to a warm welcome at Warfang. But there was still some hate for Cynder due to her past as the terror of the sky. But it was slowly getting better for her. But a large group of noble Dragons still wanted her executed for her crimes. But the call of Cynder execution was repeatedly shot down by Spyro and the Dragon Guardians.
Because of the victory of Spyro and Cynder, the remaining element Guardians had returned, including Cynder Mum Nightshade. It was one of the happiest moments in Cynder life. For a long time, she thought her family had died from the attack when her egg was stolen.
Sadly, her father had died at the jaws of the Ape leader, but her mother and sisters had lived. There was no dry eye in the temple when the family returned.
Nightshade blamed herself for what had happened to her first daughter, even with Cynder telling her it was not. But now they could be a family and make up for the lost time.
She also had made friends with her Mum best friend's daughter Rose. Who was a poison Dragoness! As well, Cynder and Spyro had agreed to stay friends. Some thought they would become mates, but they didn't fill it between each other as mates would.
At the moment, Cynder was hunting with her mother, Rose and Guardian Ivory. Sure, like most Dragons would now buy their meat from the markets. They preferred the thrill of catching their meals. As well it helps keep their fighting skills in check. So, at the moment, her life was going ok for her as she sniffed the air for her prey.
3 hours later
Cynder let out a snot of annoyance as she had no luck and was starting to get pissed off. A blast of steam came out of her nose as she grumbled. She was about to rip the sheep to shreds that had escaped her again. As she pushed past a bush in the forest where the sheep had run into, she looked in confusement at were that fucking sheep had gone.
In front of her were two unknown creatures. One was a cat like Hunter but without spots and was more feral in structure. Next to it was a strange creature that she had never seen before, it looked like an Ape, but it wasn't.
Maybe it was a new type of Ape, Cynder thought, and she was about to fire her poison attack. But she then looked at it more. She could tell it shared stuff with Apes but not at the same time; she was so confused right now.
As she walked closer so she could get a better look while keeping her attack ready just in case of an attack from the unknown creatures. She was glad she did since, unlike the very ugly Apes. This creature was very cute looking. Wait, why did she think that? As she blushed to herself, maybe because she was close to her heat session. Yes, that is it!
But she couldn't help but keep exploring this strange creature. She heard a sound behind her, turning around to see her Mum, Rose, and Ivory. They had two large dead cows in Nightshade and Ivory tails.
"There you are, Cynder. Did you have any luck?" Rose asked in a cheerful tone.
"No, sadly, but I found these strange creatures. Have you seen them before?" Cynder asked Rose.
Nightshade and Ivory look at each other with confused looks as they walk over to these creatures Cynder is talking about. Nightshade was surprised to see one was a Lioness. They had long ago disappeared. She gasps and jumps back in pure shock, using her paw to move the other creature to look at it. A species the Dragons had thought had gone extinct.
"A Human!" Nightshade yelled in pure shock.
"A what?" Cynder asked her in a confused tone to her mother.
"It is. How is that possible? They disappeared over 1000 years ago?" Ivory said, just in as much shock as Nightshade was.
"Mum, what are you talking about? What are Humans?" Rose asked her mum, as she was just as confused as Cynder was.
The two younger Dragoness stood and watched their mums panic over this unknown ape creature.
"Did you not pay attention to Volteer in your history lesson of our kind," Ivory asked her daughter.
The British racing green colour young Dragoness let out a blush of embarrassment. Her Spike cover tail tip wags slowly.
"Um, I fell asleep in them," Rose replied quietly to her mum.
Ivory sighed, holding a paw to her face as she overcame the shock of finding a Human.
"They were our kind first allies to help fight the Apes, and the Poison and the Shadow Dragons first made contact with them. They were also very skilled fighters, and they would put the moles to shame on the items they built. But one day, while fighting an Ape army near the swamps, they suddenly vanished into thin air. Nothing was left of our once allies." Ivory told her daughter.
"Oh, so what should we do with it now?" Rose asked her mother as she tried to understand what her mother had just told her.
Before she could respond, they all heard a groan from the creature. As the 4 Dragoness watched it as it started to move, they all got into a stance, ready to defend themselves if it attacked.
"Did someone get the name of that truck? Uh, Zira, you, ok? Where are we and Drrrragons!" Sin said out loud to himself, trying to see Zira, who was still cold.
Before turning to see 4 Dragons in front of him, he yelps in shock. Before getting pounced by one of the smaller ones, he was then pinned to the ground as it was snaring and baring its fangs at him. If he weren't shitting himself, he would blush at how beautiful this Dragoness looked.
"Cynder, stop that and get off the Human," Nightshade told her daughter.
Cynder grumbled as her eyes slit back to normal hearing her Mum voice. As she slowly moved off this Human. Before walking back over to other Dragons but keeping an eye on him.
Sin cough deeply, holding his chest, as he looks at the four creatures that were mythic creatures to him a few hours ago. But the one who had pounced on him and the others had just spoken in perfect English. What the hell was going on?
"Sorry about that. If I may ask, are you a Human?" Ivory asked Sin.
"Um, yes, but how is this possible? Dragons are not real you are myths." Sin said, still in shock at all that was happening right now.
Getting confused looks from the Dragoness, as Cynder was trying to work out if he was lying. But she could feel that he was telling the truth, but how could he say Dragons were not real? Does he know where they were right?
"You, ok? You do know you in the Dragon realms, right?" Cynder said to him in a confused tone.
"What do you mean Dragon realms? Last time check, I was in England." Sin said to her, still confused.
"England?" Rose asked, confused.
"Yeah, England, United Kingdom, Europe, the Earth!" Sin said to them.
Only to see four confused looks on the Dragoness' faces at what he had just said.
"Maybe we should take this slowly and try to work out what going on," Nightshade said to them all.
Sin nodded as he calmed down and stroked Zira's head while sitting on the ground. As the Dragoness sat, he started explaining what had happened to him and Zira.
After an hour, all they had gone through and how Sin and Zira got here. Nightshade and Ivory were looking at each other, thinking about what they had been told, as their daughters looked at the Human with curiosity.
In these talks, the two large Dragoness had introduced themselves as Nightshade, the Shadow Dragon Guardian and Ivory, the Poison Dragon Guardian. Both of them were easily 12 ft tall from head to tail. Nightshade was a pure black Dragon with four horns sticking out of her head in a row. Also, on her back were black-like spikes going down her spine to her tail. Apart from a bit of space between her wings. While she had a metal dagger as a tail tip. Her eyes were silver as they gave a soft look to him.
Ivory was like her name said in colour. She had green eyes but no spikes across her spine, but her tail had huge spikes covering her tail. She told him it was rare for Poison Dragons to be like her. She looks at him with a kind of mothering look, like how his mother did with him.
The younger Dragoness, the first one was Rose was about 6 ft from head to tail and was a British racing green in colour apart from her black underbelly scales. Her eyes were ruby red. Apart from that, she matches her mother Ivory in Dragon shape with only a few fewer spikes on her tail than her mum.
But the last one took his heart away. The one who had pinned him down, Cynder, was a beauty. She was also a black Dragoness like her mum but had a red underbelly and green eyes. She had more horns than her mum but no spikes on her back. But her tail had a kind of scythe-like blade and looked very sharp. She also had a large choker on her neck and two bracelets on her front paws. But he could not help but blush and think she looked very hot.
He then told them his name was Sin, and the Lioness was Zira. An told them about some stuff about them and how he got the sword next to him.
"Well, we are glad we could meet you. We have not seen your kind for a very long time. But we might be able to help you and your sister with why you came here. After we had finished, our meals and Zira has woke. We shall take you to our home to speak to the other Guardians to see if they can help get you back to your home." Nightshade said to Sin.
Sin nodded his head in thanks as he was going to speak to her. He then heard a strange Monkey noise seeing the Dragoness' eyes go to slit and hearing the snares of their anger.
"Um, you ok, Lady Nightshade? What going on? What that noise?" Sin asked in a confused and worried tone to her.
Nightshade turns to look at him, her eyes returning to normal as she looks at him softly. To reassure him, their sudden outrage was not directed towards him or Zira but something else.
"APES!" Nightshade snared at him with hate.
