After hearing that he was lied to by a girl who thought he liked him, he was livid.
Normally, he would have done something petty like take their panties or call them names.
However, this was the breaking point.
After getting his heart broken in Earth and now in this world, he decided that he has had enough.
So instead of giving a reaction, he simply put his head down and walked out of the guild hall.
His party started laughing until Megumin was the first one to notice something felt off.
She had expected a conflict to go like how it always did.
Yet there went Kazuma, who didn't even bother giving a reaction.
When she turned around to see where Kazuma went off to, she saw something on the ground that made her frozen with shock.
Darkness and even Aqua stopped laughing as well when they noticed Megumin had begun to tremble.
"What's the mat-"
Darkness was about to ask until the crimson demon pointed to the direction where Kazuma went.
There on the ground…. Was droplets of blood…..

The next day came and Kazuma's party had figured their minds were playing tricks on them as they waited for Kazuma to begin a quest back at the guild hall.
Except… He wasn't there.
Meanwhile, Wiz was organizing in her shop when Vanir came in from the entrance.
"Hey, Wiz?"
"Yeah?"
"I may have saw Kazuma go inside a nearby cave…."
Wiz's eyes were suddenly wide open as she remembered hearing about Kazuma's disappearance.
"You saw him go in?"
"Uh-huh! He was all muttery and crawly..." Vanir chuckled.
Wiz however was in no laughing mood.
"You stay here. I'll see if I can get Kazuma to be back to his normal self."
"You don't want me to watch?"
"I doubt he'll talk to me, but I know he won't talk to us. You need to stay."
"Aww party pooper…." Vanir faked a sigh although in his head, he had a bad feeling about Kazuma.

After 5 minutes of walking, Wiz found the cave and went inside.
"Kazuma?...Kazuma?" Wiz echoes throughout the cave.
After walking for a bit in the cave, she finally found Kazuma, crouched in a corner.
"Go away." Kazuma didn't even look at her.
"I just wanna talk."
"Well I don't want to talk to you. Or anyone."
Kazuma stands up and faces to Wiz.
"So make like a tree and fuck off."
Wiz then looked at Kazuma with a small gasp.
The neet's had tear marks on his face and his eyes looked very puffy and tired.
However, that wasn't the concern Wiz had.
She looked at Kazuma's arm and saw a horrible sight.
There was a white cloth around his arm…. Except for a tiny bit of it which showed dozens of scratches and cuts.
Deciding to address it after so she didn't upset him, she continued.
"I... see you're upset. Can we... talk about why?"
"The hall, I can't stand them and yet they are supposed to support us after saving them so many DAMN TIMES AND YET THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW IT. I don't wanna go on another shit show of an adventure! I don't wanna listen to Aqua and her being useless! I don't wanna get exploded by that stupid explosion loli. I don't want to attack other people and then having to deal with Darkness being a creep! I want to chill! I want to sit in my room and chill!" Kazuma looked dead into Wiz's eyes.
"And leave the Devil King to rule?"
Kazuma's left eyebrow twitched.
"FUCK THE DEVIL KING! I spent my entire time here dealing with his shit! His ex-generals! His original generals! His, never ending battles! Why can't he just die so I can go home and finally have some peace and quiet?
Silence.
"I've spent a lot of time looking at quests. Reading reports. Talking to eyewitnesses. They all say the same thing about Kazuma. He's the perverted one, the one who doesn't care about anyone but himself.
"Nailed it." Kazuma smirked.
"Your actions tell a different story. A story of someone who always answers the call. Who always helps his friends and fights for the greater good. I mean, I saw you give Aqua from those giant frogs! You saved her life! I think YunYun is right about you. You care about your friends.
There was an awkward silence until Kazuma walked towards her with an actual smile…. Until, his eyes went red.
"YOU DON'T KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT ME, WIZ! I HATE AQUA! I HATE MEGUMIN! I HATE DARKNESS! I HATE CHRIS! I HATE YUNYUN! I HATE YOU! I HATE VANIR! I HATE LUNA! ! HATE EVERYBODY! PRINT THAT IN YOUR FUCKIN' PAPER!"
Kazuma walked out of the cave without looking back.

The gang were at the guild hall about discuss their next quest while trying not to think about the elephant in the room. Ironically for them, said elephant is approaching them.
Megumin looked at Kazuma who had a white cloth on his arm.
This time for Kazuma, his entire arm was covered with cloth so nobody could see what is under it.
"Well, look who's finally graced us with his presence!"
Aqua looked furious.
"Where have you been, NEET?!
"...thinking." Kazuma looks at the group with the most calm look on his face.
Aqua scoffed
"Yeah, right!"
"Thinking about panties although I wouldn't mind that." Darkness added.
Kazuma looked at all of them with a smile.
He took a deep breath and finally said what he had wanted to say since day one.
"No, actually I was thinking that...I quit."
Megumin was confused but sightly scared at the implications of what he just said.
"…Quit what?
"You. All of you. I quit. I'm not doing another quest. I'm staying in my mansion."
Aqua was getting angry at this point.
"What?! You can't quit! That's not allowed!"
Kazuma dropped his calm act and gave a snarl.
"I can do whatever I want, I don't care about this adventure anymore—I should've quit a few months ago! In fact, I could give two shits about you going back in heaven. Have someone else that will be ok dealing with your attitude."
Aqua paled a bit and stepped back a bit.
Chris suddenly was looking very nervous.
"What about the Devil King?"
Kazuma looked at Chris with pity.
"Let it go, Chris- Actually no, Eris. All of you. He's been sending his generals every time. It's getting old."
Eris was shocked that Kazuma figured out who she was.
Luna looks annoyed.
"Seriously, Kazuma?! You've always been selfish, but this is bullshit!"
Kazuma turned around and looked at her with a playful smile.
"I don't like you. In fact, I fucking dispise you. All you do is show off your big tits because THAT'S THE ONLY PERSONALITY YOU HAVE. You are fucking useless along with the rest of you."
He then turned towards Aqua.
"I especially hate you. YOU ALWAYS GOT ME IN DEBT AND CRIED LIKE A LITTLE BRAT. THE ONLY REEDEMING TRAIT ABOUT YOU IS THAT YOU CAN REVIVE PEOPLE. OTHER THAN THAT, YOU ARE NOT ONLY USELESS BUT AN ASSHOLE TO ME FOR NO REASON OTHER THEN THE FACT THAT I TOOK YOU FROM HEAVEN EVEN THOUGH SHE ASKED FOR IT WHEN SHE MADE FUN OF ME AFTER MY FUCKING DEATH!"
He then turned towards Megumin.
"To think I thought dealing with that goddess—no demon was bad enough then I have an explosion loli in my fucking party. To be honest, you are atleast the most tolerable normal yet you still have a glaring problem. YOUR ONLY SKILL IS FUCKING EXPLOSION AND THEN ONCE YOU USE IT, YOU CAN'T EVEN MOVE!"
Finally, he looked at Darkness.
"OH, AND TIME FOR MY FINAL PARTY MEMBER AKA THE MASOCIST DARKNESS. YOU NEVER STOP GETTING TURNED ON BY EVERYTHING AND IT IS SO EMBARASSING TO BE AROUND YOU. YOU CAN'T EVEN HIT ANYTHING WITH A SWORD AND YET YOU ARE A FUCKING CRUSADER!"
Kazuma decided to drop the bomb he had been holding on for so long.
The neet took his cloth off to reveal his self-harming which caused the entire guild hall to gasp in shock.
Kazuma at this point had tears coming down his face.
"To think… I thought cutting myself would help ease the pain and yet it does nothing to remove the pain of dying so many times. Yet you guys expect me to keep going even after those deaths…. WELL FUCK YOU!"
Kazuma then took deep breathes and decided it was time to go.
"Since you guys despise me so much, I will do you all a favor and leave so you never have to see me again… Goodbye and I will see you all in hell."
He ran off not even looking back once.
If he did, he would have seen his entire party covered in tears along with a few others while everyone else had their heads down in shame.
