Me: Hey guys, sorry about the wait…and future delay…
Not too long ago, I was admitted in the hospital and I just barely got out. They found three mass in my liver and not sure it's cancer or not. I'm waiting for the results and see what the surgeon will do afterwards…but there is a slight high that there will be a surgery to remove them… In my next update, I'll let you know what the doc decision will be.
Anyway to those who reviewed: foxchick1, guest #1, Nadeem Khan and Wishfull-star – I thank you all.
P.S. I know in the last chapter that I type that this is going to be separate chapters but I was able to make it into one so please enjoy and hope I can updated soon. Also, those who are waiting for Reunion, I'm still waiting it for to be beta so please wait a bit more, but I will update it once I have it.
The day of the tag duel came and Chronos was walking down the hallways, angrily. There were mostly Slifer students at the hallway, chatting among themselves.
Chronos sneered, 'For Pete's sake! Why must Duel Academy for the elite accept these dropout boys-no ne?!' then he thought about Judai and his friends, 'Especially Judai Yuki and his little dropout friends - Only expulsion awaits people like that!"
The Slifer students heard Chronos' shout and ran away from him. That's when Chronos smirked, 'But at last, the moment has arrived. Just you wait, you wretched boy…'
"Professor Chronos," called Manjoume, walking over to him.
"What do you want, Signore Manjoume?" asked Chronos.
"Please, allow me to fight in Judai and his lame sidekick's tag duel," replied Manjoume.
"You?" said Chronos.
Manjoume nodded, "And this time, I will lay waste to him with own hands and crush his hopes becoming a 'great' duelist!"
"That shall not be necessary," said Chronos as Manjoume widened his eyes. He smirked, "I have already invited some powerful duelists that are aptly suited for the tag duel-no ne. Moreover, you should be more concerned about yourself," as he turned himself around, "At the rate you are at, you will drop down to Ra Yellow!"
Manjoume gasped as Chronos walked around away from him. The Obelisk student gritted his teeth before walking to the other direction.
At the Slifer dorm, Jaden and Sho were rechecking on their decks before their duel. Hayato was lying on his stomach on his bed while Vante was leaning against the wall upside down.
"So it's finally the day, huh?" said Hayato.
"Yea, but they are prepared. Right mates?" said Vante.
Jaden grinned, "Totally! I'm looking forward for the tag duel, aren't you Sho? Your brother and Vante has been helping yea in tag duels, right?"
"Yeah…they have," replied Sho, softly. He sighed, "I just hope I don't mess things up…"
"Hey, come on little guy," said Vante, flipping to his side and standing up. He slightly hit the small bluenette's head, "Duels are meant to be fun so turn that frown upside down. You're going to do fine!"
"Maybe that's Judai's secret behind his winnings," murmured Hayato.
Jaden grinned, "What secret? I just love to duel!"
Sho looked down at the power bond card with a determine look. He placed the card into his deck, 'This time, I'll do it. As a duelist, as Ni-san's little brother, and…for Aniki,' getting up from his seat, "Aniki, let's show them our strength!"
"Now you're talking!" said Vante, happily.
"We'll be cheering you two from the spectator's seats with the others," said Hayato.
Jaden and Sho nodded before the two headed out to the school and headed to the Obelisk duel arena where the duel is going to take place. At the spectator's seats, Asuka and the others were seating at the right side while Kaida and Ryo was standing behind them.
"So, it starts at last," said Misawa.
Asuka sighed, "I just hope that Sho is ready. Judai may have some experience in tag duels, but Sho only started just a few days…"
Nagisa patted Asuka's shoulder, "Have faith in Sho. We all teamed up and helped him rebuild his deck for this duel. All we can do now is cheer for him and Judai."
Asuka looked sad, "But it's sort of my fault that this happened…"
"Stop," interrupted Kaida, "We all willingly entered the abandon dorm to find clues about your brother, Asuka. No one is to blame, got it?"
Asuka widened her eyes before nodding her head. On the other side, Manjoume was sitting by himself when he spotted Jaden and Sho entering. He gritted his teeth before kicking the seat in front of him, hard which startled his two lackeys.
Jaden eyes shine, "Wow! It sure is packed!"
"We're dueling in front of such a big crowd?" panicked Sho.
Jaden ruffled the small bluenette's hair, "Just ignore them. All you have to worry about is our opponents."
"Geez, Aniki…" pouted Sho, trying to fix his ruffled hair.
Unknown to them, on top of the spectator seats, Manjoume was clenching his hand, tightly. He narrowed his eyes at Jaden, angrily, 'Judai Yuki! I wanted to crush you with my own hands!'
On the other side of the spectator seats, Hayato and Vante just made to the arena and went over to their friends. Nagisa glared at them as they took a seat by her left side.
"And what took you two so long to get here?!"
"Bathroom pick stop," replied Vante, sheepishly. Kaida shook her head while Nagisa made a disgust face. Vante grinned, "What? You asked."
"Look! I think they are going to start the duel," said Hayato, quickly.
Walking in the middle of the arena, Chronos stood tall with a grin on his face. "Well then, we will now begin this tag duel!" as everyone started to cheer.
"So, will they be facing a teacher or an Obelisk Blue student?" wondered Samejima as Chronos made a face. "Or could you be the one dueling against them?"
Chronos turned around, "Not quite… We are having this duel to deliberate their punishment for breaking school rules by entering the off-limit zone. And their opponents must be duelist appropriate for that task."
Samejima's eyes sparkle with excitement, "Mm-hm. Then…"
"In order to give you impudent ones a thumping…Parmesan cheese…I have invited some legendary duelists!" said Chronos. Suddenly two shadowed figures jumped on to the duel arena.
Jaden watched with awe as the two unknown duelists were in some way performing some jumping moves before standing behind him and Sho.
"We are the Roaming Guards!"
"The Paradox Brothers!"
Yubel appeared next to Jaden and titled her head, "Are they some kind of actors? Like the ones you and Kaida watch in the television?"
Jaden laughed, "You mean those Hong Kong movies? Na, I don't think so…but they do seem awfully familiar."
"Are they our opponents?" whispered Sho.
Behind them, Chronos smirked, "They are legendary duelists known for having fought against the Duel King, Yugi Muto-no ne."
"Against the Duel King?!" worried Sho.
At the spectator sits, Asuka gasped, "I know about them. They're sibling duelists who gave the Duel King a hard time with their invincible combinations."
"This can't be…" murmured Hayato.
"Those two don't have a chance against opponents like that," said Misawa, doubting Jaden and Sho chancing of winning the duel.
Nagisa gritted her teeth, "Don't say that. Yugi-san and Jounouchi-kun were just beginner duelists and they still beat them!"
Misawa held up his hands up while Kaida glared at the Paradox brothers.
At the other side of the arena, Manjoume was laughing with glee. He had a creepy smile on his face, 'This is excellent. Suffer an unsightly defeat in front of all those here, Judai Yuki.'
"We hold no grudge to thee, but," started Para.
"…we're locked in battle for reasons of your own," said Dox.
"If you cannot defeat us…" said Para.
"…your path will remain blocked!" finished Dox
"Now, come and fight us!" said the brothers.
Chronos was holding onto his laughter while Samejima was awing the legendary tag duelist before frowning. The principle looked over at Chronos, "This is quite the drastic measure…"
"No! These two need opponents of this caliber!" argued Chronos as he knees down to Samejima's level. "For one thing, it would be setting a bad example for the other students."
Samejima thought for a moment before nodding, "Then, I'll allow it," before smiling, "It would seems that he likes this idea as well."
Chronos frowned before turning around to see Jaden with a silly grin on his face and his eyes' sparkle with excitement.
"This is awesome! I can't believe we'll be fighting against legendary duelists who fought against the Duel King!" said Jaden, happily. 'I can't wait to tell dad and uncle about this…minus about entering the abandon dorm…'
Samejima smiled with joy while Chronos made an annoyed face. The Obelisk head got up and walked over to the center of the arena, "Well right then…Now, both sides get into position! Rules, you cannot give advice to your tag partner-na no ne. Also, you can treat your partner's field as your own field. Understand-no ne? Each tag team will share 8000 Life Points! So, then…"
"Duel!"
Paradox Brothers: 8000 LP
Jaden and Sho: 8000 LP
"I draw…I activate the magic card, Pot of Greed," said Sho before drawing two new cards from his deck. He smiled a bit, "I fuse Gyroid and Steamroid to fusion summon Steam Gyroid (2200/1600) in attack position. I end my turn."
"My draw and I normal summon Jirai Gumo (2200/100) in attack position," said Para.
"Draw!" said Jaden before nodding, "I normal summon Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000) in defense position and I set a card face down."
'So far, so good,' thought Sho.
"I draw," said Dox then letting out a smirk. "I normal summon Kaiser Seahorse (1700/1650) in attack position. Next, I activate the magic card, Tribute Doll. I tribute my brother's Jirai Gumo to special summon Kazejin (2400/2200) from my hand in attack position."
'It's a good thing that it can't attack this turn,' thought Jaden.
"Then I activate the magic card, Dark Designator. If a monster that I designate is in my opponent's deck, this card can be added to my opponent's hand," explained Dox.
Sho slightly gasped.
"And I designate…Sanga of the Thunder!" said Dox.
Para laughed, "I thank you, brother. Naturally, I have Sanga in my deck." He then searched in his deck for Sanga before placing it in his hand and shuffled his deck. Raising his hand to the air, Para said, "Allow us…"
"To give you a lesson," said Dox, raising his hand.
"…in the true essence of tag dueling!" said the brothers as they pointed their fingers at them.
Sho stepped back a bit with a worried look on his face. He sighed, "U-Unreal…To think they were able to summon such a strong monster in their first turn – Aniki?"
Jaden grinned, "These guys are the legendary duelists, but we won't lose, right Sho?"
"R-Right! No, we won't," replied Sho, nervously. He looked back at the field, 'This is for Oni-san….everyone, who's putting so much in faith in me,' he thought before drawing his card, "It's my turn! Draw! I summon Submarineroid (800/1800) in attack mode…here I go…Steam Gyroid, attack Para directly!"
Steam Gyroid charged towards Para. However, Para smirked, "Heh! That will not be happening!" before looking over at his brother who nodded.
"I activate Kazejin's special ability – Reflection Storm Barricade!" said Dox. Suddenly the Dox's monster when in front of Para and created a barrier of wind, blocking Steam Gyroid's attack. "Kazejin's special effect will reduce damage from an opponent's monster to zero once," explained Dox.
"So…you can only use it once per turn, correct?" asked Sho as Dox nodded. The small bluenette smiled, "Then go, Submarineroid, direct attack their life points!"
The submarine machine sent small bombs towards the Paradox brothers. They lost 800 life points.
Paradox brothers: 8000 – 800 = 7200 LP
"Then I set a card face down," said Sho. "And as my turn ends, Submarineroid is switched to defense mode. I end my turn."
"Alright, little mate!" praised Vante while Ryo had a small smile.
'I thought dropout boy will do things without thinking,' thought Chronos, angrily.
"My turn, draw," said Para. "I activate the magic card, Monster Reborn to bring back Jirai Gumo from the cemetery. Next, I activate the magic card, Tribute Doll."
"Tribute Doll, again?" said Jaden.
"But why?" wondered Sho.
"I tribute Jirai Gumo to special summon Suijin (2500/2400) in attack mode," said Para as Jaden's friends gasped. He then chuckled, "I'm not done yet. Brother, I need your help."
"By all means, go ahead," said Dox.
"I offer Dox's Kaiser Seahorse as a sacrifice," started Para.
"When summoning a light-attribute monster, Kaiser Seahorse can be treated as two sacrifices instead of one," explained Dox as his monster disappears. "This allows my brother to summon Sanga of the Thunder (2600/2200)!"
"Not good, not good," said Sho, freaking out.
"What a combo," whispered Misawa.
"I'm afraid…there is more," said Kaida, softy.
"She's right, the combo is not over yet," said Asuka.
Para chuckled, "That makes all of them…"
"Now, we shall show you our ultimate monster!" said Dox.
'Ultimate…' thought Chronos, watching close from the arena before hearing someone's voice. He turned around to see the principal watching beside him with an excitement expression. "Principal, please return to your seat."
"But I want to get a closer look to…" Samejima slightly whined.
"No!" scolded Chronos as Samejima returned to his seat.
"When Kazejin, Suijin and Sanga of the Thunder are all on the field, by offering all three as a sacrifices, I can special summon the Gate Guardian (3750/3400)!" said Para.
"Gate…" started Sho.
"Guardian?" finished Jaden. 'That name…it sounds familiar – wait! This was the same monster that gave dad and Uncle Jounouchi trouble! Oh this is not so good.'
"Go, Gate Guardian, attack Steam Gyroid – Wicked Lord Shockwave!" ordered Para. The three monsters combine their attacks; thunder, water and wind and send it straight towards Steam Gyroid which was destroyed.
Jaden and Sho lost 1550 of their life points.
Jaden/Syrus: 8000 – 1550 = 6450 LP
Paradox brothers: 7200 LP
'Uncle Yugi was right. Their decks were built for tag duels only,' thought Kaida.
"Their decks are incredible," said Misawa in awe. "They're left no gaps in it, as would be expected for legendary duelists."
"And since they're brothers, they're in total sync with each other," said Asuka, worriedly.
"Don't count them out just yet," said Vante, seriously. "Remember, the Duel King faced them as well in Duelist Kingdom when he first started. I heard the duel was slightly different, but he and his friend, Jounouchi were able to beat them and I know that Jay and Sho will do it too!"
Hayato and Nagisa nodded while Ryo was looking down at his little brother with a slight worry.
"They were able to destroy Steam Gyroid in mere seconds," murmured Sho.
Chronos chuckled, happily, 'This is good. This is very good. The true essence of tag dueling is focusing your attacks on the weaker opponent and defeat them first. Judai Yuki is surprisingly persistent, but Sho Marufuji is mentally delicate…and that's where they'll come tumbling down!'
Manjoume was laughing at Jaden and Sho's predicament.
'I'm not ready for this…and I dragged Aniki down with me too,' thought Sho, sadly.
"Amazing, right Sho?" said Jaden with a grin. Sho gave him a confuse look. The brunette smiled, "Come on, Sho. This is the very same monster that fought against the Duel King, remember? And now, we've got the opportunity to fight against it! Aren't you excited or what?!"
"I set a card face down and end my turn," said Para.
"All right, now it's my turn, draw," said Jaden, drawing his card. He looked over at his hand before nodding, "I activate the magic card, Pot of Greed," as he draws two more cards from his deck, "Then I summon Sparkman (1600/1400) in attack mode."
"But he only has 1600 attack points," said Dox.
"Our Guardian has a lot more attack points," said Para.
"Points won't matter after this," said Jaden. "I equip Sparkman with the magic card, Spark Blaster. This card's effect changes the battle mode of one monster and I switch Gate Guardian to defense mode."
Sparkman aimed his blaster to Gate Guardian and changed his position.
"You may have put it in defense mode, but Gate Guardian's defense is 3400," said Para. "You two wouldn't be able to beat it."
"Sho, if you please," said Jaden.
Sho nodded, "Trap card open, Micro Ray. This card's effect targets one monster on the field and their defense points becomes zero until the end of this turn."
Para and Dox widen their eyes as their strongest monster's defense points went down to zero.
"Sparkman is not done yet – go, Sparkman attack Gate Guardian!" said Jaden.
Everyone at the seats watched as a level four monster defeat a high level monster. Samejima was very impressed while Chronos was freaking out and couldn't believe what he just saw. As for Manjoume, he was gritting his teeth in anger.
"I…don't believe it," said Misawa in disbelief. "They actually defeated their ultimate monster."
Ryo smirked, "I know Sho had it in him. He just needed a little…push, that's all."
"More like tough love, but you're right," said Kaida.
"Go Jay! Sho!" cheered Vante and Nagisa.
"To think that our Gate Guardian," started Para.
"…was destroyed by a weak monster!" finished Dox.
Jaden smiled, "Like I said attack nor defense points didn't matter. There's no monster that can't be destroyed if you can find a way."
"I can't believe it!" said Chronos. "Those dropout boys defeated these legendary duelists' mightiest monster in one go?!"
"It's nothing strange," said Samejima. "After all, they are students of our Duel Academy."
"Hmm…Marufuji-kun is doing rather well for himself-nya," said Daitokuji as he was scratching his cat's head. "Although, that stunt might have spelled trouble for them-nya. Don't you think, Pharaoh?"
Sho sighed in relief while Jaden gave him a thumbs-up.
"It appears we've let our guard down a bit," said Dox.
"We never would have thought they would defeat Gate Guardian," said Para.
"However…" said both brothers.
"This is just the beginning of our invincible cooperation. It's my turn, draw!" said Dox. "I activate the magic card from my hand, Dark Element! This card's effect activates when Gate Guardian is in the cemetery."
Jaden narrowed his eyes while Sho widened his.
"By paying half of our life points," started Dox as their life points when down.
Paradox brothers: 7200 → 3600 LP
"…it special summons the Guardian of Darkness – Dark Guardian from my deck," finished Dox as a large dark armor monster appeared in his field, holding a large axe with attack and defense points of 3800.
Hayato widened his eyes, "That's – That's a lot of attack points!"
Jaden gritted his teeth, 'Not good.'
"Go, Dark Guardian attack Sparkman! Dark Shockwave!" ordered Dox. The dark guardian swings his axe with full strength and sends a shockwave towards Jaden's hero.
"I don't think so – trap card open, Hero Barrier! This card activates when there's an 'Elemental Hero' monster on the field," said Jaden. "It negates one of my opponent's monster's attacks!"
The shockwave hit the barrier and sends the shockwave throughout the arena.
"Blocking that attack," said Dox.
"…was quite a feat!" said Para. "However, it will be you last!"
"And, to add to that, Dark Guardian is our invincible guardian that cannot be destroyed by way of battle. So long as our omnipotent Dark Guardian remains, you two have no chance of winning this time!" said Dox.
'No way,' thought Sho, looking down at the ground. 'We were able to destroy their Gate Guardian, but they were able to call forth a stronger monster in his place.'
Chronos started to giggle, "I should have known. There is a difference between their skills! They can struggle all they wish, for its mere futile resistance!"
"This is quite the situation, indeed," murmured Samejima.
"My turn…I summon Cycroid (800/1000) in defense mode," said Sho. "Then I switch Submarineroid in attack mode and use his effect, go direct attack!"
The brothers covered their eyes when they were hit with mini bombs again and lost 800 life points once again.
Paradox brothers: 3600 – 800 = 2800 LP
Jaden/Syrus: 6450 LP
"That's really starting," said Para.
"…to get annoying," said Dox.
"My turn ends and my Submarineroid returns back into defense mode," said Sho.
"My turn, draw! I activate the magic card, Pot of Greed and then from my hand, I fuse Giga-Tech Wolf with Cannon Solider to fusion summon Labyrinth Tank (2400/2400) in attack mode," said Para. A large blue tank with red spikes on the front appeared in Para's field. "Go, Labyrinth Tank, attack Submarineroid!"
The small brunette covered his eyes as his monster was destroyed from the large tank.
"Don't worry Sho, we've got this," assured Jaden. "My turn, draw! I activate the magic card, E-Emergency Call. This card's effect allows me to add one Elemental Hero from my deck to my hand and I chose – Elemental Hero Bubbleman. Next, I activate the field magic, Fusion Gate. As long as this card's on the field, you can fusion summon without using fusion," Jaden smiled, "I'll fuse the Elemental Heroes Avian and Bubbleman that are in my hand with the Sparkman on the field – come out, Elemental Hero Tempest (2800/2800) !"
"I must admire of Jaden's determination to not give up," said Misawa.
"Even so, he can't beat Dark Guardian," said Asuka.
"No…but I have a feeling Aniki has something in his sleeve," said Kaida.
Ryo nodded, "It would be pointless to summon him with a stronger monster on the field, but there is something in Sho's deck that can turn this turn around. I just hope Sho can get the message."
"A triple fusion summon? But still," said Para.
"Dark Guardian's attack is 3800 and it cannot be destroyed in battle," said Dox.
"And yet, what could he be planning?" said Para.
"I can't harm your Dark Guardian, but I can't say for your Labyrinth Tank!" said Jaden as the brothers gasped. "Go, Tempest, attack Labyrinth Tank! Chaos Tempest!"
The winged warrior aimed his metal gun at the large blue tank and fired. The attack destroyed the massive tank and the Paradox brothers lose 400 life points.
Paradox brothers: 2800 – 400 = 2400 LP
Jaden/Syrus: 6450 LP
"My turn, draw," said Dox.
"Brother, allow me to activate my set card," said Para as Dox nodded. "Trap card, activate! Single Combat! During this turn, each player will do battle with their highest attack monster! Dark Guardian attack Tempest!"
"This is not good," said Sho.
"I activate Tempest's effect!" said Jaden as Fusion Gate disappeared. "By sending a card on the field to the cemetery, Tempest can't be destroyed in battle!"
"Even if it can't be destroyed, you still get inflicted by the damage," said Dox. The shockwave went through Tempest and hit Jaden and Sho.
Jaden/Syrus: 6450 LP – 1000 = 5450 LP
Paradox brothers: 2400 LP
"This is all you pal, I'm counting on yea," said Jaden with a smile.
Sho nodded his head before looking up on the spectator seats and spotted his brother. That's when he remembers the week before the Duel Academy entrance exams started, he told his brother that he was going to be a duelist…just like him. His brother wasn't going to stop him but he did say something to him before he left.
"The path of a duelist must be made using one's own strength. Are you prepared to do that?"
'I want to be a duelist…just like Oni-san, but with my own strength and in my own way! I will show them I am a strong duelist!' thought Sho as he draws his card. "My turn, draw! I offer Cycroid as a sacrifice to summon UFOroid (1200/1200) in attack mode!"
A small machine like UFO appeared in Sho's field.
"And then, from my hand I activate a magic card, Power Bond!" said Sho as Jaden nodded. "This card is a fusion magic for machine types." That's when Sho turn to Jaden, "Let's finish this together!"
"I'm with yea all the way pal – let's go!" said Jaden.
"It'll fuse together UFOroid and Tempest – come forth, UFOroid Fighter!" said Sho as a new warrior riding on a UFO machine appears. "It's attack is the total attack of its two fusion material monsters!"
UFOroid Fighter (4000/4000)
"What good will that do?" asked Para. "It's attack might be higher by a small fraction, but…"
"…Dark Guardian can't be destroyed by battle!" said Dox.
"That I know! Next, Power Bond's effect activates! It doubles the attack of the special summoned fusion monster!" said Sho as UFOroid Fighter's attack went up to 8000.
"8000?!" said the brothers.
"Go, UFOroid Fighter attack Dark Guardian – Fortune Tempest!" said Sho.
Their warrior monster aimed his machine gun to Dark Guardian and let out a massive beam of light towards him. The attack didn't destroy the Dark Guardian, but it by pass him and the beam of light hit the brothers in full blast.
Paradox brothers: 2400 LP – 4200 = 0 LP
Jaden/Syrus: 5450 LP
"They did it!" shouted Vante and Hayato, happily.
"Now, those two can remain at the academy," said Misawa.
"Even if Judai turns into a tough rival, you're still happy?" asked Asuka.
"But of course. I would like a chance to face Judai one day, but what about you?" said Misawa.
Asuka blushed, "I would just feel guilty if they got expelled because of me. But I'm glad now."
Kaida smirked, "Keep saying that to yourself, Asuka-san."
Asuka continued to blush while Nagisa and the others jumped happily before getting off from the seats and dashed down at the arena. Meanwhile, Manjoume gritted his teeth before storming off from the arena with his lackeys following him.
"This can't be! For legendary duelists to lose," said Chronos as he backed away from the arena.
Daitokuji walked over to him and bends down, "Well, Sho-kun is quite impressive, don't you agree? I mean he is the younger brother to Ryo-kun who is the top duelist, no-nya?"
"I agree. Judai-kun is the current second best in my dorm," said the Ra Head house. That's when Pharaoh licked on Chronos' cheek that freaked out the Obelisk head house.
"See, Sho? We did it and it's all thanks to you!" said Jaden as Sho started to sob of happiness. That's when the brunette turns his head, "We won. Fair enough, agreed?"
"You have shown us a fine duel," said Samejima while Chronos was hiding behind him from the cat. "Naturally, your expulsions will be dropped."
"Alright!" said Jaden, happily while Sho gave a large smile. "Oh almost forgot!" he turned around and gave his signature victory to the brothers, "Gotcha! That sure was a fun duel! Let's go it again, huh?"
Both brothers widen their eyes upon seeing his pose. A few years back, they recall meeting Yugi's adopted son who enjoys dueling and showed them if he wins; he will give his victory pose. It was the same one that this boy was given them.
Para smirked, "A well duel it was Judai Yuki."
"And yes, we'll duel once again in the future, child," said Dox.
Chronos got a confuse look when the Paradox brothers gave a respect bow to the brunette before leaving the arena.
"Hmm…if you have that much energy left, allow me to give you some homework," said Samejima as Jaden made a face. "Your expulsions have been dropped, but your penalty for entering a restricted area will be different."
Jaden's friend just made it to the arena to hear what the principal said.
"A matter in fact, all of you will turn in a thirty page report on dueling strategies," said Samejima.
"What?! You can do that?!" said Vante.
"A thirty page report? It's going to be a long night," said Nagisa as the others agreed minus Kaida and Ryo. Misawa was the only one that was spared of the punishment assignment.
"I'll leave you three to oversee things," said Samejima to the three head houses.
"Yes, sir, leave it to me-nya," said Daitokuji.
"I'll make sure Judai-kun and Nagisa-san will finish their report," said the Ra head house. Chronos simply nodded before dashing with Samejima just to get away from the cat.
Vante ruffled his hair, "No way! A thirty page report is a killer! I never did one before!"
"Maybe we can work together," suggested Nagisa. "And maybe Misawa can give out some pointers or correct some mistakes, what do you say?"
Misawa nodded, "Of course."
Kaida and Jaden sighed, "An all-nighter once again…"
"Maybe we can ask Tome-san some snacks while we do the report," said Asuka. "She wouldn't mind, right Judai?"
"No, she would be glad to have someone with her," replied Jaden. "She sometimes gets lonely when she has to clean up the store after hours."
"Well, I guess let's get started," said Vante with his shoulders down. The others nodded before hearing the crowd of students clapping upon Jaden and Sho's victory against legendary duelists.
